On the 29th of March, seventeen years ago, Seungyeon, Nicole, Gyuri and Sunghee stepped on stage for the first time as KARA. It wouldn't be long until Hara and Jiyoung would join the group after Sunghee's departure, and Youngji would complete the group a few years later.

One of the most original time-travel thrillers since 12 Monkeys. A brilliant subversion of the Time Paradox trope, with enough plot twists to keep you entertained until well after the movie is finished. Predestination is an amazing movie with great performances from Ethan Hawke and Sarah Snook. It’s a movie that will feel like Inception, when it comes to messing with your mind and barely anyone has heard of it. It is highly underrated and unknown, sadly.

Serenity is a futuristic sci-fi film that serves as a feature-length continuation of the story-line from the TV program Firefly (2002–2003). Ex Machina is the directorial debut of Alex Garland, the writer of 28 Days Later (and 28 Weeks Later). It tells the story of Caleb (Domhnall Gleeson from About Time), an IT developer who is invited by a billionaire CEO to participate in a groundbreaking experiment — administering a Turing test to a humanoid robot called Ava (Alicia Vikander). Meeting the robot with feelings of superiority at first, questions of trust and ethics soon collide with the protagonist’s personal views. While this dazzling film does not rely on them, the visual effects and the overall look-feel of Ex Machina are absolutely stunning and were rightly picked for an Academy Award. They make Ex Machina feel just as casually futuristic as the equally stylish Her and, like Joaquin Phoenix, Gleeson aka Caleb must confront the feelings he develops towards a machine, despite his full awareness that ‘she’ is just that. This is possibly as close to Kubrick as anyone got in the 21st century. Ex Machina is clever, thrilling, and packed with engaging ideas.

Along With the Gods: The Two Worlds (2017)

Doh KyungSoo cut!

Along with the Gods is definitely not my favorite genre and I did skip a lot. However, after many initial happenings the start of Family tragedy and cases around it were pretty interesting. KyungSoo's role has shocked me as I saw many of his works and each one of them is different, however not as much as this one! I am quiet sure he can play literally anything!

Despite me not having a 100% fun because, like I have mentioned, It's not my genre but everyone who enjoy fantasy/thrillers will definitely not regret watching! It have really nice CGI effect and actors are very enjoyable.

This movie has 2 parts and I will watch the second one tomorrow.

Opinion

This is a very good series, I binge watched it in a few days. I loved the queen! How strong, resourceful, and independent she was. I loved all the characters, especially the queen and prince Seongnam. I also loved how the king was very supportive of her. The series had a lot of different topics, from motherhood to sexuality. It's a drama series. There are no gore or sex scenes. I recommend this series to anyone who likes history dramas.

“My Only Love Song” is a Netflix original series and the best way to describe it is fantasy-drama-rom-com-time-travel-sageuk.

Song Soo-jung (played by Gong Seung-yeon) is a popular South Korean actress who storms off the set because she is angry about changes to the script and with the cast. She jumps into her van intending to drive off, only she ends up traveling through time and finds herself in the Goryeo (or Koryŏ) Dynasty. Coincidentally, she was playing the part of a Goryeo princess when she walked off! She actually gets to meet the real On Dal.

~ “On Dal (died 590), commonly referred to by Koreans as "On Dal the Brave" (yong-gamhan ondal (용감한 온달)), was a Goguryeo General and the husband of Princess Pyeonggang.” (Source)

~ The historical records for the Goryeo (or Koryŏ) Dynasty indicated that General On Dal married the princess. However, in this hilarious K-drama series, My Only Love Song, presents an alternative history of the romance between the princess and this brave warrior. The cast was just so adorable.
