Even though I'm not in the dsmp fandom anymore and therefore don't really keep up with fan content, I have to say your fics were my biggest inspiration for the longest time while in the fandom. I would rush to ao3 anytime I got the email saying you updated stars or glass, even after I left the fandom.

I loved looking into the nuance and detail you put in your writing, it always amazed me how much you could reveal or hide in the subtext.

I always aspired to get to your level of skill and ability in writing and I still can't wait till the day that I do. I may be far from that day but you definitely inspired me to try harder to reach it.

So even though I haven't kept up with your recent works, thank you for providing such amazing pieces to the community <3

this is so sweet aaaaa thank you. I'm so happy that my works inspired you for so long. I love hiding small details in the works or figuring out ways to work in foreshadowing and all that. unreliable narrators and subtext and just all the subtle elements of writing are so fun to play around with to shape the narrative in quiet ways. I'm so glad you enjoyed those aspects of my works while you still kept up with them :)

I'm sure you'll get there sooner rather than later. writing more than anything takes practice, but if you stick with it it can be so unbelievably rewarding. it seriously makes me so happy to hear I've inspired you to want to do that.

Do you know enough about karmaland to recommend how to watch it/who to watch

ok ftr im not a native spanish speaker nor was i able to watch a lot of the later streams bc of school but i absolutely would recommend it, although if you dont understand spanish then it is going to be so much harder to get through it now that k5 is over and the fandom has completely chilled out. that being said

the answer is yes i would recommend it its a fantastic story with some questionable choices that the fandom found some very interesting and extreme arguments in but that we inevitably have to live with. theres a ton of new streamers that ive been exposed to that im still watching even after k5 is over. story wise i highly recommend quackity and luzu as they are the most popular and lore-heavy ones, i also must mention sapo peta who unfortunately i cant remember the twitch user of rn (if i find it later ill edit this post) and the wonderful rubius aka elrubius on twitch they are all fantastic. but if u havent been involved in the hispanic mc community before u should look up a list of the ccs and check them out to see whos personality really clicks w u, unlike the dsmp for me i only stuck w a few povs.

quackity has untranslated vods on his spanish vods channel, elalexquackity vods, luzu has stream highlights which are surprisingly effective which is also what most members do, these are all the sapo peta vods i could find, its pretty much the same for all members except q i believe w the stream highlights. theres also vegetta777 who i rec watching with rubius' pov if u end up going that way. yeah ok i think thats it

work i spent the most time on: There's an AU that took me longer than a year, started july 2020 and finished writing it somewhere early 2022 and it just didn't get fully posted, otherwhise since I mostly write one shots all of them have an average of 1 or 2 weeks of writing/editing and posting so I have no clue

work i spent the least time on: Holy, a Rubegetta one shot. I know for a fact it didn't even take me a day to write it and post it, it was my first fic after years of not writing anything at all.

longest fic: My longest fic is a Karmaland FS AU (yes the one mentioned above, yes I know I am writing another rn) and it is 44k words, but I published maybe 30k, and I didn't put it on Ao3. That being said it is Try Again, the whole thing is written I just stepped away from the fandom

shortest fic: each of the drabbles in my drabble collection (? each around exactly 100 words or a little more when I write in Spanish and English at the same time, that's as short as it can get

most hits: las formas de llamarte amor I am used to not getting many hits so this one was a surprise to see escalating to numbers I had never seen.

favorite work of my own: This is so hard because I can't chose. I think I have a few favourites for different reasons so I am going to cheat and mention one per language at least.

A ti, is an epistolary fic about two Karmaland NPCs that I wrote for a creative writing class, it's Sapphic and I think it is the most carefully crafted one. It has a special place in my heart.

Background:

You worked at a private club in Tokyo as a bouncer, you were competent at your job and you enjoyed it. It was a normal evening and you were standing at the entrance until your supervisor told you to get inside and guard the V.I.P section. “We have a few special guests coming and I need you to make sure nothing happens to them.” You nodded and stepped inside. The V.I.P section was still empty, so you had some time. You headed to the bar and talked with the bartender. You two were close. One time after your shifts ended he heard you wanted to start working behind the bar. He taught you how everything worked and how to make a few drinks. However, you accidentally knocked over a bottle of whiskey and your supervisor got so mad and started yelling. The two of you tried not to laugh at how ridiculous his face looked. I mean there was no need for him to get that mad over a bottle of whiskey.

“Kaz! Hurry up!” your supervisor called out. With an uninterested face, you turned to see your supervisor. You sighed and walked over to the V.I.P section. “Good luck, Kasey.” The bartender said as he made another drink. Once you got there your supervisor started nagging again and you fought the urge to roll your eyes at him. He was annoying but that was all he was. He wasn't scary or intimidating he had all this talk but couldn't back it up. You looked inside and saw what looked like a Yakuza meeting. You were curious to see who the leader was so your eyes wandered to whoever sat in the middle. To your surprise, it was a young guy who looked around your age. Your Supervisor entered the room and said "This is Kaz and he will be here to cater to all your needs." He glanced at you and gave you a sweet smile. You knew exactly what he was doing. "I am not a waiter, ask someone else to do it," you replied with an annoyed look. Your supervisor came closer and whispered something in your ear "if you do this, you get a bonus immediately after your shift, they are willing to pay a lot." You needed the money tho, so you sighed and said "if there is anything let me know." You stepped outside to guard it. Until the red-haired "leader" spoke up "you have worked here for quite a while, right?" His voice was deep and raspy, it was attractive. You tried to ignore your previous thought as nodded and waited for him to continue, while you analyzed his features. He showed you a picture "Have you ever seen him during one of your shifts?" He asks and you shrug "Not that I recall" you stated. He hands you a piece of paper "Here is my number, call me as soon as you see him, he will come to this club." You accept the piece of paper and return to guarding the V.I.P section.

How it started:

Despite your vastly different backgrounds and lifestyles, you and Kasanoda found yourselves drawn to each other. You two would spend hours talking about your passions and beliefs, even if you two didn't always agree on everything. You loved how Kasanoda was willing to stand up for what he believed in, even if it meant going against the law or defying societal norms. And Kasanoda was fascinated by your strong convictions and commitment to activism.

Despite your busy schedules and dangerous circumstances, you and Kasanoda began dating in secret. You would steal moments together whenever the two of you could, sneaking off to abandoned buildings or dark alleyways for a stolen kiss or embrace.

heyy OG dsmp fans or people who have watched the vods please help, im looking for a clip from v early dsmp still in 2020 where Wilbur and Tommy are walking down the prime path (i think near the end of a stream) and Wilbur is telling tommy how proud he is of him (theyre in character rn) and eventually they get to the community house and Wilbur logs out there and theres kind of a bitter sweetish goodbye it almost sounded like Wilbur was leaving for good tho obviously he wasn’t. and it was like a really good moment that was one of my favorite clips and one of the first ones i saw when i had joined the fandom back then. if anyone knows the clip please let me know!! thank you! :D

This is the main tumblr blog. Consisting mostly of MCYT, Hermitcraft, Empires, Pirates, and The Life Series Smps. Occasionally may have DSMP. Still a little bit new to all the former medias/fandoms. But may delve into other fandoms/whatever interests me and personal rambles rants & vents. May make a side blog specifically for the big interests I have, or not depending on how I feel. May just keep the whole thing all mixed together.

I love to scribble/draw/do art and may post rough drafts and finished projects and whatever here. I write, may make drabbles and though I haven’t posted on ao3 and may share it later any fanfiction and links if i want to/like it.

Im in a sappy mood rn and I feel like rambling. One of the main things that just made me enamored with the dsmp back when I was very new to it all was just, the fandom, yea of course it has it's dark sides, but I couldn't help but just awe at the creativity of the community. The way people took the main skins and used them as a starting to create beautiful depictions of them. Seeing how a scene or a character is interpreted by different artists and animators. Looking at AO3 and seeing how the characters react to the different settings their put in. All from people messing around and having fun in minecraft. Of course I've expanded and seen more of this aspect of minecraft content, watching stories others have made, ones that may even be considered better, of course certain things leave a slight sour taste that alters my picture of the dsmp in some aspects. But i can't yet shake that bit of awe I had when the realization of how expansive and creative so many people in the fandom were clicked in my head. When I can cope with the less pleasant aspects and look solely at this grand display of everyone's love for this little story about block people that somehow tore your heart out, it's beautiful

well hello anyone who is actually on tumblr and hasnt forgotten about me. ive been offline for a year or so, had personal issues in my life, and also started high school so i wanted to focus on that. life update:

- im in 10th grade now :)) high school isnt that bad and there actually isnt as much fights as there was in past years. also im in a lot of advanced classes now

- i got new friends, and dumped my old ones(they were toxic)

- got into some new fandoms(call of duty, genshin[sorta i barely tolerate some people, I just try to play the game without interacting with the fandom], tmnt[i’ve always loved it], and others that I can't rlly think about rn

- got my working permit today :D after new years I'm gonna look for a job

- well I figured out I'm trans now (f-t-m), after years of question my gender and making excuses, I'm also pansexual :)

- the name I want my legal name to be is kaisen(kai is just a nickname and I dont use j anymore)

- body image stuff, sucks to suck but I'm trying everyday, slowly

- i actually have a girlfriend, we have been together for 3 months, and known each other for around 1 or 2 years. We are long distance(she lives in another country), time zones suck, but we make it work. We also met on genshin, so i guess i owe the game for that.

- im teaching myself how to draw, and also have been reading a lot of books lately

- family life isnt the best, im not gonna elaborate, but i just try to ignore it

it seems like a dream with how i acted a year ago. i seemed way more immature than what i do act now. i was so innocent i guess you could say, and i guess you could also say that i was just figuring myself out. and as im sitting in my bed, listening to The Neighborhood, im reminiscing. i do miss the friends that i had before i dropped them, and i really wish that i didnt push everyone away whenever i was in a depressive episode, but its the past. if i cant get over the past i’ll never be able to move on into the future. im just so glad that past me could get that experience of exploring themselves and meeting new people. also i was very very cringey i realize now, i feel like i was acting a sort of way to get recognition from people.

well anyways i dont think i’ll be writing anything anytime soon, i dont feel the passion i used to back then. maybe someday, but not today, and not the next. also thank you for 300 followers, that might not seem alot compared to other people, but it is for me. also thank you for all the support with the dsmp stuff even tho i stopped writing about them. i rlly didnt expect my stuff to blow up like that :))

It’s seems like every fandom that I joined was either problematic, full of drama or just straight up cringe. Do you any recommendations for least problematic or chill fandoms for me to check out? I need something to distract me from things that happening on twitter rn 😞😔

[This is kinda long sorry, also 100% my opinion]

I've been in any type of fandom you could ever imagine.

From creepy horror stories made online, to anime, to kpop, to videogames, to bands, tv series, ect. So, when it comes to "toxicity" or "problematic" fandoms, I've learned that it is inescapable.

To give examples:

Creepypasta fandom: literally ended up on national TV, because someone believed in Slenderman a bit too much;

Anime fandom: there are people who overly sexualize gays/minors/girls of any age;

Kpop fandom: some fans get too parasocial and "sasaeng" fans exist;

Undertale: I mean...iykyk.

Btw, these are all fandoms I've been in

So, in small words, whichever fandom you go to there will always be some toxicity, some drama and tons of problematic fans.

You just gotta learn to divide yourself from the toxic side, stand your ground and concentrate on the positive side.

I know that the DSMP is in absolute shambles atm. But if you look at the positives, we have more Foolish/Punz content, more glowduo content for halloween, they're gonna post a tribute for Techno, Wilbur is on tour doing some amazing stuff w/ Lovejoy, Tommy is on the frikin newspaper and I can keep going 😂

Maybe some people can tell you some calm fandoms to be in in the comments if they'd like, but just remember that there's always some bad in good, like there's always a good in bad

thank you so so much ♥️ it means so much to hear that my stuff has resonated with people. im really really hoping ill be able to keep making ctubbo content in the future -- it doesnt really feel right rn but the character is so so dear to my heart at this point and the community around him specifically means so much to me. its incredible to hear i was able to have some role in getting you back into writing :) i hope youre still going and still having fun with it. even if i do end up completely stepping away from dsmp ill keep posting my original stuff & work for other fandoms too. sharing my writing on this blog changed my life. i really cant stress enough how encouraging and uplifting and special it is to see the response my work has gotten -- be it tubbo3091 or my poetry or my fics, the comments and tags and messages ive gotten have been the most precious thing in the entire world. it keeps me writing :) and i hope to keep writing forever. so thank you <3

High Shelf

Summary: (osmp) wilbur trying to reach the high shelf turns into a lesson in tickling with ranboo

hiii I’m back, this is kinda shit but I wrote it all today and I’m not re-writting it so here take it, Also O!Ranboo she/her and o!wilbur it/he

Ranboo didn't understand a lot of things in the Overworld.

Generosity was a big one, but Tommy had been helping her with that and Ranboo liked to say she was getting the hang of it.

That's why when she saw Wilbur, the phantom hybrid, struggling to reach some ingredients from one of the top shelves, Ranboo decided that she would be kind (see! She is nice, Ranboo would have to remember to tell Tommy later), and help him.

That was the second thing she didn't understand. Overworld hybrids were so short. 

Ranboo had known that Enderman hybrids were taller than average (even in the end), but there were just some hybrids here that were just small. Sneegs, an inchling was a good example of that, Ranboo often feared that the squeaks of floorboards were Sneeg being accidentally crushed.

"Hey, need some help?" Ranboo asked, walking over.

Wilbur nodded, "yeah could you grab that purple thing and the netherwAHART RANBOO!" The phantom hybrid got cut off.

Ranboo picked Wilbur up, one hand on either side of his waist and then Phantom started struggling and wiggling. 

"Puhut meheh down!" Wilbur demanded.

Ranboo lowered him so his feet touched the ground but didn't let go. Instead she stared at the phantom confused.

"I was helping? Is that not what you wanted?" Ranboo asked.

"I just needed you to grab it for me!" Wilbur said in return. 

"I didn't know what you wanted, you could have just grabbed it yourself just then," Ranboo said in frustration. Overworlders were frustrating.

"Fine! I just fucking need it man," Wilbur sighed. 

"That's not kind words," Ranboo nodded to herself in confirmation. Tommy would be proud. 

"Sorry sorry," Wilbur did not sound sorry, "Just please help," the phantom asked.

"Fine, but you're grabbing it. I'm not touching whatever any of that is," Ranboo looked at the shelf filled with all different materials and vials. Some of which looked slimey and disgusting (no offence to Charlie of course).

Wilbur looked wary but hesitantly nodded after a moment, “just be careful,” was his only comment.

Ranboo picked Wilbur up the same way and only raised an eyebrow when the phantom tensed and held his breath. 

“Little higher,” Wilbur said while reaching an arm up. Ranboo nodded and adjusted her grip so she could lift him higher. That failed as Wilbur instantly brought its arm down to Ranboos hand and tried to curl up mid-air.

“Stop flailing!” Ranboo glared as she tried to maneuver around Wilburs bony tail that was swinging around now.

“I cahahan’t stop!” Wilbur laughed as he reached an arm up, the ingredients were so close! Then Ranboo shifted slightly and Wilbur's arm came back down. 

“Why do you keep laughing?” Ranboo was getting a tad frustrated at this point.  She was just holding a curled up Wilbur in the air, and Wilbur was damn lucky that since it was a phantom, it didn't have much weight because if so she would have dropped it without hesitation.

Wilbur waited for its titters to die down and then it spoke, “you know what you're doing!” 

Ranboo scowled, no way was the phantom blaming this on her right now.

"Wilbur."

When Tommy threw open Wilbur's door at 3 in the afternoon on a Sunday, Wilbur was properly pissed and ready to scream at the younger to "get the fuck out" as any older sibling would. However, at the worried look on Tommy's face Wilbur decided to spare the blonde any yelling and listen.

"I have a partner project with Tubbo that's due tomorrow so I have to go to his house and start and finish it." Tommy said as he leaned against the doorway.

Maybe Wilbur would yell at him after all.

"What's that got to do with me?" The brunet asked now setting his guitar back in its case.

"Well, I think Techno's really anxious for his fencing tournament on Tuesday and usually I help him when he's stressed cause I'm just the best person in the world obviously but I can't today and maybe could you?"

Wilbur decided he wouldn't yell at Tommy.

"Sure, go do your homework with Tubbo I'll be here for Techno," Wilbur smiled and Tommy visibly relaxed. "What do you usually do with him to help relieve stress?"

Tommy gained a light blush on his cheeks and rubbed the back of his neck, "uh nothing specific, nothing specific. Well bye I'm going to Tubbo's!" Wilbur didn't have time to ask another question before the younger was running out of the house.

The older sighed and put his guitar case gently under his bed and twisted his back to hear the satisfying crack. He supposed he should go check on Techno if what Tommy said was true.

Wilbur walked over to his twins room and gently knocked on the door (because he, unlike others *cough tommy cough*, knew how to be respectful and ask before entering). As soon as he heard a faint "come in" he threw open the door and walked up to where Techno was hunched over some books on his desk.

"Whatcha reading?" Wilbur asked as he peered over his twins shoulder. Techno pushed his face away with an annoyed grunt and closed the book to show him the title.

"Why?" Wilbur asked while concealing a smirk. It was time to show off his younger sibling (by two minutes) skills.

"Because I have a tournament coming up," Techo replied while opening the book to his bookmarked page.

"Why?" Technos huffed in annoyance but still replied.

"Because it's tournament season," he flipped to the next page.

"Why?" Wilbur was enjoying this way too much.

"If you ask that one more time I'm going to, well I don't know what I'll do but you won't like it," Techno said after a deep breath.

Maybe Wilbur would regret it, but it was worth it to see Techno so very annoyed. In addition it served as a distraction from his twins stress so win win.

Techno could hear the smirk in Wilbur's voice as the brunet said, "why?" One last time.

Wilbur jumped as Techno slammed his book shut and turned to glare at him.

"I'll give you 5 seconds," Wilbur didn't think twice before sprinting out of the room and down the stairs.

He faintly heard a "4" before the sound of the chair scrapping against the ground was heard.
