Repostober day 12: For several years I was in a Dreamwidth RP game called Ryslig, which involved a lot of body horror and monsters and randomly-rolled transformations for characters that we had a lot of fun with, and I had to bring Loboto in- he wasn't there for long, but boy he made an impression as a vampire. So happy just to be on his little boat in the worst clothes imaginable.

As requested by @madredhattie I needed to do a shippy followup with my old naga!Ryslig designs! I had a lot of fun with this one, getting out of my comfort zone and using different angles and tools. Lots of work, but worth it!

It's monsterswap month in game which means I have some new forms to debut as well~ Hopefully I'll be back to updating a little more often now!

The complete design of my harpy Shootie (Trip) in Ryslig (a horror-themed, monster transformation game, all the monsters feed on humans in some way, so…).

The fog gradually changed him into this form over months.

First Change: light grey feathers tore out of his skin after giving him a painful, itchy, rash that trickled blood as they broke skin. His feet turned grey, the skin becoming scaly and bird-like, and the bones melded together and and structure changed to make room for talons.

Second Change: functional grey wings with a black lace-like pattern (with clawed, human-like hands tucked into the "wrist" of the wing, under alula feathers), a shimmering green underbelly, and yellow eyes. All his bones bones are now hollow and porous to enable flight. This makes his bone brittle and easy to break, despite growing strength.

Third Change: pigeon-like yellow eyes and increased visual acuity.
