Did I miss anybody? I think those are the only absolute monarchs still in power today. The rest of the world's royalty are constitutional monarchs, so they reign but do not rule.
(There's an argument for including Kim Jong Un on the list of absolute monarchs despite the fact that he's not a King and North Korea is a Communist country. He's obviously a dictator, but the Kim dynasty has virtually ruled North Korea like a secular monarchy for nearly 75 years with the supreme leaders inheriting their power through hereditary succession. Kim Jong Un took over immediately upon the death of his father, Kim Jong Il, who had assumed power when his father -- North Korea's first paramount leader, Kim Il Sung -- died in 1994. Of course, North Korea isn't officially considered a monarchy, but the manner in which the Kim family has ruled the country and transferred power from father-to-son for three generations and counting resembles the structure of an absolute monarchy more than a "traditional" totalitarian dictatorship.)

The President, Sheikh Mohamed, received condolences on the death of Sheikh Khalifa from Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau on Thursday.
During the phone call, Mr Trudeau also congratulated Sheikh Mohamed on his election as President and wished him continued success in leading the country towards a new phase of prosperity, state news agency WAM reported.
The Canadian prime minister said his country was keen to strengthen bilateral relations across all fronts.

French President Emmanuel Macron was caught revealing some bad news to President Joe Biden on the sidelines of the G7 summit Monday.
Macron told Biden the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) ruler, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan, informed him that OPEC’s top oil exporters were already at their production maximum.
“I had a call with MbZ,” Macron told Biden, referring to Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan, Reuters reported. The comments were overheard by Reuters TV. “He told me two things. I’m at a maximum, maximum [production capacity]. This is what he claims.”
“And then he said [the] Saudis can increase by 150 [thousands barrels per day]. Maybe a little bit more, but they don’t have huge capacities before six months’ time,” the French president reportedly added.
UAE’s top energy official responded to the reports, saying the country is producing “near” its maximum capacity.
“In light of recent media reports, I would like to clarify that the UAE is producing near to our maximum production capacity based on its current OPEC+ production baseline,” Energy Minister Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei tweeted.
Macron’s claims go against official data, and if true, would bring challenges to the global market in light of the boycott on Russian oil in response to the country’s invasion of Ukraine, according to Bloomberg.
Oil prices have been steadily going up in the past year in part due to increased demand post COVID-19 and a lack of supply caused by restrictions on oil production. The prices were further exacerbated by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, but prices had already risen 55 percent the day before Russian President Vladimir Putin’s orders.
Biden waged a war on domestic energy production upon taking office, including canceling the Keystone XL pipeline, banning new oil and gas leasing on public lands, and stopping the sales of several drilling areas in Alaska and the Gulf of Mexico.
Biden is set to meet Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in July as a part of his trip to the Middle East. The president previously vowed to make Saudi Arabia a global “pariah” after the suspected killing of Washington Post journalist Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

Vladimir Putin’s visit to the UAE and Saudi Arabia
On Wednesday, 6 December, Vladimir Putin arrived in the United Arab Emirates on an official visit. The Russian leader is expected to visit Saudi Arabia later the same day, Aydinlik reports.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived in Abu Dhabi to meet with the head of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. According to a Kremlin statement, the main topic of the meeting was bilateral relations. International issues, primarily the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, was also discussed.
Earlier, Yuri Ushakov, aide to the Russian head of state, said that the first meeting of the leaders would be held with the participation of delegations, after which the talks would be held in a one-on-one format.
In his speech at the beginning of the meeting, Vladimir Putin noted that relations between the UAE and Russia were strengthening in many areas.
After the talks, the leaders held a working lunch and discussed agenda issues.

Leaders from around the world continued to arrive in Abu Dhabi to pay their respects on Sunday following the death of Sheikh Khalifa and the election of the President, Sheikh Mohamed.
From Britain to Israel and India to France, leaders paid tribute to the world’s newest head of state.
Senior figures from the US and other nations are expected to follow on Monday on the third day of mourning.
Sheikh Mohamed expressed his thanks and appreciation for the sincere feelings expressed by their Highnesses, Majesties and Excellencies towards the UAE and its people at the death of Sheikh Khalifa.
He wished good health and continued prosperity, progress and prosperity to all brotherly and friendly peoples and their countries, state news agency Wam reported.
Sheikh Mohamed accepted condolences following the death of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed on Friday.
They included President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani of Mauritania, France’s President Emmanuel Macron, and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kazakhstan, state news agency Wam reported.
