i think if i was the mayor of helsinki id host a huge music festival may of next year or something. i wouldnt give a damn lol. im not even sure mayors do that actually, maybe if i was a finnish event manager or something

Yle and Vantaa (Käärijä's hometown) were already planning a huge party for Käärijä, but it didn't happen from Käärijä's wish. He said it didn't feel right to have a marketplace party (Finland's way of celebrating winning, known as torijuhla) because he got silver.

Though I am fairly sure YLE will still be throwing some sort of a celebration party for him. And they are streaming his saturday consert for free!

But yeah a huge musical festivals would be so cool. Finland will not shut up about this years Eurovision for at least 100 years (were still talking about Juha Mieto's skiing lost from 1980, were long bitter) so why the hell not? I'm sure finns would love it, and we could invite Slovenia there. And everyone else who wants to come (expect Sweden cause their busy with Eurovision). Yeah sure, let's host a reunion party with a bunch of finnish music as a bonus. Maybe we could get Nightwish there too. And Lordi obviously. It's no Eurovision party without Lordi.

And honestly let's not end it there. This summer YLE should do a "whole Finland dances" event again during Juhannus (finnish midsummer holiday). We did it once with Robin's hula hula, and we definetly should do it with Cha cha cha. Basically all finns recorded a video of them dancing, sent it to YLE and then it was made into a tv show.

We need a Käärijä statue to Vantaa. They are already going to make a mural for him so why not go straight to the long lasting opinion? I want to have a Käärijä statue of him doing the human centipede.

And Käärijä obviously needs to be a quest at the Presidents house next december. We got to have him in a green bolero on that long ass line of people shaking hands (our way of celebrating independence day, we watch as people shake hands with our president)

Honestly we should just continue on with our Käärijä madness and ignore Sweden. Because in a way, Käärijä won the contest. And since we are already dressing all our statues as him, we should just continue on with this and maybe be even more unhinged. Our seal could really use some green boleros instead of an lion, you know.

Wanna know about Reylo ? 👀

(Spoilers ahead)

So, in the new trilogy, the main character is Rey (no last name), an feral gremlin of an orphan who lives ona desert planet and has learned about the rebellion in ancient texts and loves them. One day she meets Finn (ex stormtrooper) and bb8 (adorable nb droid) and they both say they have to bring bb8 to The Rebellion. Rey, being an adorable nerd, absolutly beams with joy and does this, with adventures along the way. There's also Poe Dameron, super cool pilots and best bud with bb8, who keeps doing heart eyes to Finn and has helped him escape. The bad guy of the story is Kylo Ren aka Quiche Lorraine aka the poser emo son of Han and Leia, who idolizes Darth Vador and wants to rebuild the Space Nazi Dictatorship (it's not subtle : theit logo is black thing in white circle on a red background).

So what kind of ship do we have, here ? Rey(white woman) with Finn (black man), about overcoming what you're born into and being your own hero. There's Finn (black man) and Poe (latino man), about being bickering best friend and saving eachother. Or, there's the white man (Kylo Ren), and you can ship him with Rey to make the Heterosexual White Couple where the woman has to redeem the man.

Please note that during the first film, Kylo tortured Rey (and Poe), and they fought a lot. And Kyle was like "uh maybe i can be saved... SIKE it was a ruse to kill my dad".

In large, the internet flocked to FinnPoe... or to Reylo. The Reylo stan were *unsufferable*, attacking people who were saying that the SpaceDictator was a bad man (one unironically said that people should be nicebeing seeing his dad die in frontof hiseyes surely traumatized him, forgetting that he *killed* him) and making up Tumblr Fake Stories about recieving free crepes by a fellow Reylo shipper, The Most Opressed Group Of All time. Dont get me wrong, there was definetly a large anti-reylo movement, because of the inherent mysoginy of the "she can can save him from himself" trope, the "shipping a woman with her abuser" and the obvious need to thirst on the single white man when John Boyega and Oscar Isaac here here, but the Reylo were sooo much more vocal.

The 2nd movie was super divisive for a lot of reasons, mostly that it didnt look like any other star wars film and subverted a lot of expectations. I wont get into,but i really liked it. There was this whole thing about a secret bad guy forming a mental bond between Rey and Kylo, and Kylo trying to manipulate her to come to the dark side and Rey thinking "Leia is nice, i will do all i can to bring her son back to her and save him". But at the end of the film she realizes he can't be saved if he doesn't *want* to be saved and she cuts the connection bc she's badass. She has empathy for him but she cares about *the million of people he opresses and kill* more. The reactionto the film were EXPLOSIVE, and the Reylo shipper kind of harassed everyone (to be fqire they werent the only one, Mary Tran, the only asian woman of the whole star wars universe, had to delete her social media in part bc he character kissed Finn and in partbc she dared to be an asianwomanin a star wars)

The the 3rd film arrived, and it was... a shit show. Jj abraams retconned all the interesting bits of the 2nd film, Mary Tran character basically disappeared, the latino man was revealed to be a drug dealer, palpatine (bad guy from trilogy 1 and 2) arrived out of NOWHERE, i cant emphasize enough how he was dead and not even metionned before that film, Rey was revealed to be a Super Special hereditary mc guffin and she can bring people back to life now, Finn says "Rey i have something to say to you!" and never says what it is, and Kylo Ren said "mh maybe palpatine is evil, i should repent and be a good guy now". So him and Rey join force in a (granted, impressively choreographed) fight scene, and he dies and she kisses him (which does not bring him back to life despite the tchekov's gun before) and the good guys whin. Jj abraams said later that they should have written a 3 movie scenario instead of making things up as they go. A lot of people theorize that the retcon and the reylo change of heart/redemption arc had come bc of the reylo stan outcry online.

So, there. A brief history of Reylo and why a lot of people (me included) think it sucks. I'm gonna be honest, the Reylo stans are a big part of it.

May we discuss Ducktales and Body Language, especially in 'Astro B.O.Y.D'?

I want to talk about Gyro throughout this episode and how he acts, specifically because I noticed something really interesting. His character development for both his own growth, and what we learn.

Let's start with the earliest example, a small detail. When 2BO first returned to evil, courtesy of Akita, Gyro immediately began hyperventilating. While it may not have been as severe as that of Donald in 'The Town Where Everyone Was Nice' it's still something to note to show how much of an impact this has on him. Just in Season 1 he dangled dangerously over the gold in Scrooges bin while Bulb went mad with power and had a lot of strength and sharp things he could use yet Gyro didn't shake or look this scared. He looked nervous yes, but not terrified.

Second one, the 'I have to do this for me'

We've all had that Atticus Finch/Kirby Finn/ most protagonists moment where you did something, not only to help a person in need, but because you had to do it to prove something to yourself. The same thing goes for Gyro here. You can watch as he says 'You save Gizmoduck, I've got to destroy 2BO' he takes a deep breath and does the hand movement thing where it's like you're convincing yourself of something. He's got to face his problems and last, he can't let people keep fixing it for him. He can't brush this off or ignore it, he's got to be the one to do it. Gyro in this scene must prove to himself that he's capable of this. Furthermore when his plans get changed by Huey, he needs a minute to realize he's not destroying 2BO (or in his mind, his greatest failure) he's stopping him. Which brings us to this,

The Blame for His Guilt.

All these years and it's shown that when 2BO destroyed the city, it appeared to be Gyros fault. Heck, there's a newspaper in Akita's hiding place that shows exactly that. When Gyros blame is changed from; 'I did this. This was all my fault and I've got to change it' (which is the mentality he's had for years) to 'I was the scapegoat. It wasn't my fault, I couldn't have controlled it.' That is something you really don't want to realize, it's much harder when the blame that's been set for years changes, and it's even worse when he realizes he couldn't have stopped it. That command was to be executed no matter what, Gyro couldn't change that. So he lashes out now. He angrily shouts and charges as it becomes clear that he's been burdened with guilt, stress, anxiety, and pressumably some PTSD (which we will discuss in a second) from this. The way he moves in this shot especially you can see the pain on his face and the anger in his body as he goes at Akita. He's believed for years that he caused the Tolkyolk Disaster. That he failed. That his inventions were evil which is why he later in life tries so hard to justify his inventions being good. Gyro realizes he's been carrying a burden with him for so long he never needed.

The Intern Habit Returns.

This is a tiny note but one I love seeing. Cinematic parallels. The moment Akita arrives Gyros acts the exact same way he did when he was an intern. Scared, gripping a rectangular thing that holds information, and cowering. All at the sight of Akita.

Scared. This one was when Gyro saw Fenton on the ground, temporarily incapacitated. He's scared for him. It's really sweet to see him actually care and be scared for Fenton or anyone besides Bulb. It's growth.

This time when BOYD is hurtling dead at him and he's begging, pleading, for him. This is the first time, in twenty years, he's told BOYD he's real. Was he denying BOYD being real because he didn't want to accept that everything horrible had indeed happened? Or was he saying that by BOYD being 'definetly real' his inventions were good, His ideas were valid and he himself wasn't a bad person? Both of these ideas really work for Gyros character. It's known he struggles with self-doubt and it's also known he doesn't like what happened in Tolkyolk, so much so he only vaguely describes it at the start of the episode. It takes a flashback for us to fully find out what happened, that's how little he discusses it. When he throws himself infront of the same invention that destroyed an entire city, trying to reason with him. That's character development. That's Gyro stepping up and taking initiative and proving to everyone that he can fix his messes, he can do good, he is more than his reputation. And to anyone, that would be terrifying. It's scary to think of stepping up and putting yourself in danger just to protect those closest to him. Yet he does it anyway.

Pretty odd.

You tiptoed to your secret new hobby.

Well... you hoped none of your neigbours noticed it yet. You would be so embarrassed you might have to move if anyone found out.

You recently started to learn how to play ukelele. The instrument was small, fun, bouncy, upbeat, and a bit odd. Like yourself.

If only you had some more courage... you felt insecure about a lot of things. Daily. Your new hobby wasnt an exception.... Especially since Dewey-'rock-god'-Finn lived at the appartement above your own.

You sighed thinking about Dewey... he was just... perfect.

Too perfect for someone like you. Secretly you'd been crushing on him the moment he moved in.

He played the guitar like it was as easy as breathing. With 101% chill. It was listening to Dewey that had put the idea in your head in the first place, the sound of his voice humming and the different tunes calmed your anxious mind. Not that he knew all that. Pfeww. Hell no. You would be suprised if he'd even remember your name.

You checked the time as you took your chord-book and your ukulele to the balcony.

It was friday. Meaning there was a 80% chance most of your neigbours were at the bar, welcoming the weekend. Which ment: less-anxcious playing time for you, since you could practice in piece.

You walked over to your balcony. The cool summer breeze welcoming you as you opened the door. You peeked upstairs to Deweys appartment, luckely there was no light to be seen. You havent heard him around today. He was probably at school or preparing some gig, you figured. Smiling to yourself as you imagined Dewey Finn rocking out on some stage in a bar. He got so excited as he played, joy practically radiating off him.

A little while back he asked if you wanted to check out his band, as they had to play at the local bar two blocks away. You gathered all your courage and said yes to that. You werent the bar-type. Or going-out type. But you were glad you did that night. The memory of Dewey on stage made your heart tingle again and you couldnt supress a smile forming on your lips.

The breeze on the balcony snapped you back to reality. As you were lost in thoughts you forgot your mission to come here in the first place. You took a seat, placed your ukelele gingerly on your lap and glanced around one last time to make sure u were alone. Then you started your first chord.

Dewey jolted upright from the slumber he was in. He'd had a long week at school, teaching the kids and was planning to go the bar tonight. He glanced at the time... could still work. It wasnt that late. He stood up from the couch and glanced around the room, looking for his jacket. Then he remembered he left it outside, after brainstorming for some new songs on the balcony last night. He ruffled his hair, trying to get the sleep out of his head as he walked to the door of his balcony.

You started to get the hang of it. Your fingers moving slightly faster and more secure then a few minutes before. Still sounded like a beginner. But... less a beginner then 20 minutes ago.

As your fingers struggled to do what your head wanted, you paused and checked your chord-book again. You smiled, your eyes finding the needed chord. Your fingers moved again to make the chord you needed, but you winced slightly at the sound you produced. That wasn't right.

You tried again. Fingers failing you again and you sighed deeply in annoyance.

You were just about to give up for the night when you heard a deep voice above you hum: "try a G, love.... it suppost to be a G, not an Am."

FUCK. Someone heared you.

You winced, but noticed it sounded very sweet and helpfull instead of judging.

You almost dropped your ukelele as you registered who that voice belonged to. You knew even whitout looking up.

You heard a soft chuckle from upstairs, and your face flushed deep red in embarrasment. You clung on your instrument as if your life depended on it. Reminding yourself you had to breath.

Concern now seeped trough his voice as you heard him say: "Uhm... You okay down there sweetheart? I was only trying to help..."

You gathered all your courage to look up, to see the face of the man, the myth and the legend, that held the name: Dewey Finn.

The look on his face was nothing but excitement mixed with a little bit of worry. This helped you calm down your nerves a bit, and you nervously smiled at him. He beamed a genuine happy smile back.

You stuttered: "gosh... this is embarrassing... i... i am... just... i was just..."

He moved a hand trough his hair, his smile was amused but kind. God he was handsome. He helped you out by speaking: "you were... just... killing it on the ukelele?"

You stared at him in shock. Mouth slightly open. "I... i... just... i fucked up the chords... i was definetly... not killing it." you mumbled, still very self concious. Looking at the floor, stress creeping up your chest.

Dewey frowned as he noticed your anxiety... "you weren't fucking up... you are learning. That's okay. Y/n, look at me... im trying to help, okay love?"

Shocked that he knew your name you looked upwards.

"Sorry for disturbing you..." you mumbled. "You probably have better things to do..."

Dewey shouted a "wait a second y/n...!" As you heard him moving around on the balcony moving some things around. Sounded like he was looking for something.

His head popped up over the balcony again, triumphantly holding his hand up with a goofy smile on his face. Before you knew what was happening you heard him yell: "CATCH!" As you saw something falling down the balcony towards you, you grasped it quickly, right on time. When you opened your right hand you noticed it was a guitar pick. You squinted your eyes at the words written on the pick itself. Scribbled on it, in a messy handwriting it said: "stick it to the man"

You looked upwards towards Dewey again. You remembered this song. You heared him play it a couple of times right above your head, practicing it in his appartement.

He smiled at you, his hand anxiously rubbing his scruff. You beamed back at him, anxiety and worry starting to fade.

You heared him say: "Y/n... Stick it to the man... you are rocking the ukelele, okay?"

You nodded, picking up your ukelele again. "Now..." he hummed above you "try a G for me, love..."

You moved your fingers slightly against the instrument. Strumming a perfect G-chord. You chuckled softly to yourself as you heard him yell: "Whoow!!! Yeah! Rock-star to be! Crowd goes wiiiiiiiild!!! Yeahhhhh!"

Suddenly an idea bubbled up inside you: "Hey Dewey..." you called up towards your neigbour.

He replied: "Yeah this is Dewey Finn... please leave a message after te beep...."

You laughed at that. Oddball.

You ripped a sheet out of your chord-book as you scribbled something on it. Folding it in a paper plane, right before you threw it to him, you yelled: "hey... CATCH!"

After 2 missed attempts of him catching it, and you laughing your ass off during the process, he managed to get hold of the plane you threw him.

You watched his eyes go wild as he was reading what it said.

-you wanna teach me how to play the ukelele?-

"Whoow!! Hell to the yeah! Anytime babe. You free tomorrownight?"

"Depends..." you smiled to him. "Is it gonna be a private-lesson Mr. Finn?"

He beamed at you, voice low: "well... only my best students get a one-on-one session... so... if you want to play that perfect G for me again... maybe we could arrange something."

As you chuckled your trembling hands proceeded to play indeed a wobbly G-chord. "Perfect babe... told ya. Rocking the uke already... what else could a man want? Pick you up at 8, okay?"

The smile on your face never leaving your lips as you spoke to Dewey, looking upward and winking as you did so: "I cant wait... You know were i live, mr. Finn..."

"Awesome doll. Keep rocking okay? Your doing great..." Dewey said.

Later that evening you heard the door above you close, footsteps thumping on the floor above you. As you noticed someone loudly whooping, sound muffled through the closed door and the appartement floor above you.

You smiled again. God what a dork. You couldnt wait untill your date tomorrow. Feeling incredibly happy with what your new hobby had brought you so far.

Head cannons are pre baby and up until the baby is a child (like idk....at the most 10 years is what I’m thinking)

Pre-baby:

Finn is EXCITED the moment you tell him you’re pregnant. His whole entire face lights up as he asks “Really?” When you confirm, he’s crying and holding you and tenderly touching your tummy. 

He wants to tell EVERYONE (his friends and family that is). And he does, all excited and loud on the phone. The first person he tell is his mom who's so happy. 

He helps plan out space for a nursey (sorry Legos). He doesn’t care if he gets a boy or a girl, he’s happy he’s gonna be a daddy and make up the nursery. He wants to make it space theme and you let him; the wall has cute aliens and spaceships and a ton of stars on it, the mobile has a star, astronaut and a planet that moves to a cute tune, and the ceiling has constellations on it. Finn’s proud to have helped. 

The day you go into labor, Finn is home. THANK GOD. He made sure to take it off right after you had a close call. But this one isn’t a close call as he helps you to the hospital. He gets a little worried. He’s going to be a daddy soon, but you can tell that he’s nervous about you and your contractions. He asks if you’re ok for the millionth time the moment you reach the hospital. 

Newborn to 1 year old:

The time after the baby’s arrived, and Finn is still on parental leave, he won’t let you do a goddamn thing.  He will make you sit down and rest. He insists on taking care of the newborn when it cries. He only give them to you when they need to be fed or they “don’t want him.”

Would want to take so many pictures; of just the baby, of you with your child, trying to get himself in the picture as well with the two of you. He would even try to pose the baby in a Finn freeze or two. 

Would DEFINETLY, want to hold the baby. Almost every waking hour, he’d want his little precious bean close. Especially when he comes home for a short while, after he’s been away for so long. He doesn't like leaving you alone with the baby all that often (but you didn’t want to make him give up wrestling). He will strap the baby to himself while he’s home. 

You know that he’d try to face time you and the baby even though the baby will be a blathering little mess.  “Don’t ya worry, little squirt. Daddy’s gonna be home real soon to give you the biggest snuggle,” he says to the baby through the phone. Your heart swells at that. You want him to be home 24/7 but his job gives him life and helps pay the bills.  Finn looks a little sad as his blue eyes turn to look at you.  “I wish I can be home with your more often, babe,”  he murmurs. Guilt laced in his words. You smile at him. “I know you do Finn,” you say back. “Wrestling’s important to you as well....I don’t want you to give it up. Maybe we can tag along for a few stops.” He give you a small smile. It’s not ideal; a baby in an arena full of screaming fans, but it would give him the chance to see his perfect little family more often.

You send Finn little videos of the baby every day. He likes the ones where you bathe the little bean...mostly because the baby likes the warm water and makes the bundle of joy sleepy. It makes him smile. He replays them because he misses the pair of you. He saves every video, every picture, every little memory of the baby so he has it. He never truly wants to miss a thing. Doesn’t want to miss a moment of his precious little bean. 

His mom would want to pop over and visit you as much as she can. (I’m gonna headcannon that Ireland would be perfect place to settle with Finn. Quaint, quiet, maybe a little away from family for some but they do have better healthcare....sorry I’m American) She lets you take naps as she watches the baby. Buys them the cutest little outfits with funny sayings on them (none of those like cis-culture ones...the ones that says that “Grandma is the best.” She’ll take pics of them in the outfits, which Finn loves those pictures especially. She will watch the baby at a moments notice and will watch them when Finn wants to take you out for date night. 

When Finn is home, you will catch him asleep with the baby on his chest. Sometimes, he’s just so exhausted but you don’t mind. You snap pictures so you have something to look at when Finn’s away. Sometimes, you catch him asleep in bed with the baby tucked in his arm. You smile to yourself as you climb in with the baby between you two, enjoying the time spent as a family. 

The baby loves the word butt.....don’t ask me why....I just imagine a baby that looked kinda like Finn such scrunching with the biggest smile because mommy or daddy says butt.....

The baby is so expressive but his daddy will exaggerate all of his words and movements and even his facial expressions just to see the baby react. Sometimes, it’s like monkey sees, monkey do. And other times, daddy is just silly or crazy. 

Toddler

Finn tries to get the baby’s first word to be something funny. He tries repeating it in front of the baby as often as he needs just to make sure the baby’s first word is something goofy. Their first word is butt.....not the word Finn wanted....the baby saying it themselves makes it smile. Too bad for Finn but it also makes him giggle to see his toddler running around murmuring butt. Sometimes the child will run around the house, stop in front of you or Finn, say butt and run off giggling. 

The child always gets excited and scream for daddy when he walks through the door. Finn just scoops them up in his arms and kisses them and hold them close. He pulls you in when you’re in arms reach.

When Finn’s home, he makes sure to watch and play with the child until they fall asleep. 

Child (10 and younger)

Finn teaches them wrestling early on. At first it was some wrestlers entrances and catch phrases then he starts to play fight when they’re big enough. 

Finn really wants the kid to be a wrestler. Like he really does. You have to remind him that the child should be whatever they want to be. 

Sometimes the child will pretend with Finn.

“Daddy, look! I’m Seth Rollins!” and the child does his best Rollins impression from the edge of the couch, arms outstretched and everything. Finn always scoops them up before they try to frog splash or flip from the couch, but his heart is full of pride. Maybe one day.

After the restaurant everyone went back to y/n house and we’re watching a movie when finn gets a phone call.

“Hey, yeah what’s up? No we’re just watching a movie, wait NOW?! okay well i guess we’ll be there in a few.” finn rushes to y/n mom

“hey , they got here early.” finn says

“Have you told her yet?” y/n mom asks with a shocked look on her face

“No i didn’t know how.” he says almost yellin but tries to keep his voice down

“hey what’s going on?” y/n says walking into the kitchen where they are talking

“uh y/n i need to tell you something,” finn says almost shaking

“so i didn’t know how to tell you this but i figured it was a good idea before i heard about everything that has happened.” he says pacing back and forth, y/n furrowed her brows trying to catch on to what he said then realizes who he is talking about

“ARE YOU SERIOUS?!” she yells

“wait okay listen i just wanted you to meet them,” finn says trying to calm her down. Y/n begins pacing, she isn’t mad she’s worried that if she meets millie that she is going to see how perfect she is and how right all of the fans are,

“you know what it’s alright i know you had good intentions,” she says letting out a breath

“well i’m glad you realize that because they are here, and we need to go and pick them up.” finn says y/n raises her eyebrows then rolls her eyes laughing

“LISTEN UP, finn and i are going to leave for a little bit, IF MY HOUSE IS IN ANY WAY HARMED I WILL MAKE YOU SLEEP OUTSIDE “ y/n says then smiles at the end of her sentence. As they are in the car y/n holds finns hand tightly and stairs out the window, as they pull up to the airport she sees the cast and immediately begins panicking

“Finn, no i change my mind they aren’t going to like me, let’s go back please,” she begs but they park in front of the kids and everyone starts piling in

“HEY FINNLARD”

Then cast begins saying hi to finn then noticed you

“oh my god is this her?” gaten says smiling

“finn you didnt tell me how pretty she was,” sadie says

“OH MY GOD IT IS SO GOOD TO FINALLY MEET YOU!” y/n feels arms rap around her tightly and as the person pulls back she realizes it’s millie and stands completely still in fear

“You okay?” she asks grabbing her shoulder

“What ? yeah i’m okay uhh it’s nice to meet you guys but just a little warning the it cast is at the house to so it’s a little chaotic right now.” y/n says as they get in the car she then turns to smile at everybody and sees millie, she’s even more pretty in person, she thought.

“Hey guys, finn and y/n just picked us up were are going to have the best time ever!” millie says to her phone but y/n doesn’t notice and is still holding finn’s hand. A few minutes later her phone starts blowing up with comments some nice some not so nice.

“OMG look how cute y/s/n is real!!” 

“Who is this girl lol millie needs to get her man.” 

“Wow didn’t think finn would have such poor taste”

“WOWOWOW finn is totally inlove i am so happy.” 

Finn notices her scrolling through he takes her phone and goes to Instagram story 

“Hey guys, it’s finn i just want you all to know that y/n is beautiful and my best friend, so stop hating her thanks “ finn says trying to pull away from y/n who is trying to get her phone she stops when he says beautiful and he smiles at her after he says thanks, he then posts it with hearts. Boy did comments start rolling in, everyone in the car awed and caleb and gaten made kissing noises y/n just smiled, 

Back at the house

Everyone was basically asleep but woke up when they heard sophia scream, 

“SOPHIA WHATS WRONG ?” wyatt gets up frantically so did everyone else

“Look at y/n instagram story now, “ she says pointing to her phone smiling everyone saw the story and knew exactly what to do,

“Well sophia, you know what time it is.” chosen says rubbing his hands together smiling mischievously sophia just nods raising one eyebrow. Once the others got to the house everyone was asleep so the rest just decided to go to bed y/n fell asleep on finn instantly

“Psst Finn,” finn hears the whispers and opens his eyes to see a happy sophia,

“I saw what you posted and we have agreed to help,” she says smiling then looking at y/n to make sure she is asleep and then finn turns to her as well, sophia sees finn’s looking he smiles not big not small but that smile you have when you look at someone you’re inlove with sophia smiles and patts him. The next morning everyone is eating pancakes that y/n mom made 

“So what do you all want to do today?” y/n asks

“Well there isn’t much we can all do together since they are 12 of use.” Jaeden says laughing at the jack scarfing down to many pancakes everyones laughs. 

“Okay how about we all go to the mall but split up once we are there?” sadie says, everyone agrees and starts getting ready

“So y/n how long have you and finn been in love?” sophia asks smiling at her while she does her hair

“What uhm w-we aren’t” she stutters clearly lying wasn’t her strong suit, the girls just giggle at her the girls finish getting ready and y/n decided to do a ponytail with some side hairs out, she has skinny jeans and a yellow fitted crop top with her black mini backpack.

“Woah, no wonder she is a model.” caleb says and everyone just ‘mhmm’ in agreement and finn just stands in shock, they take seperate ubers to the mall and it was great until y/n started freaking again 

“Finn you’re going with the guys right? i don’t want to ruin anyones time, maybe i should just go home i mean-” y/n rambles again but finn stops her 

“Y/n for the last time everyone here loves you, and of course i am going with you -”

“Uh no you’re not “ sophia interrupts 

“and why not?” finn says turning to her

“because we get enough of you it’s time for us to have y/n time” millie says grabbing her hand and smiling. Once they get to the mall the girl drag y/n into urban outfitters

“Okay so we need to get some clothes for the trip and i heard wyatt is throwing a party so definetly need to get a dress.” millie says excitedly but then notices y/n nervously looking around

“Sweetie, i know whats been going on, i see the comments y/n finn loves you so much he never shuts up about you.” millie says

“That couldn’t be anymore true” sophia yells

“Its cute but annoying” sadie says

“I could never be you, though you’re so pretty and sweet.” y/n says

“But im not you and what they say shouldn’t matter,” millie says

“it matters to me,” y/n says choking on her words.

My thoughts on The Last Jedi

Since I got a few asks about what I thought of the movie I wanted to put them here.

General impressions is that, though the movie has obvious flaws I loved it. The movie can be overwhelming at times, with the amount of information being crammed into it. It made a whole lot more sense to me after viewing it a second time. I’m putting it under a read more because it contains spoilers and it is quite a lot.

A lot of people wouldn’t know this about me, but the characters I’m most invested in are Finn and Kylo and they both have great character development. I know a lot of people were dissapointed by Finn’s story because his actions seemed pointless, but Finn as a character certainly grows.

In TFA we see Finn going from ‘I’m fighting for myself’ to ‘I’m fighting for a friend’. Going into TLJ that is definetly still his mindset as you can see when he wakes up and immediately asks after Rey. And when he thinks the fleet is doomed he wants to escape to make sure Rey is safe.

The only reason he doesn’t is because Rose (bless her heart) does a commendable job of actually following her orders despite Finn being a resistance hero and keep him from escaping in an escape pod. I think Finn learns from Rose what it’s like to go from fighting for a friend to fighting for a cause. He wholeheartedly chooses the resistance in TLJ and while his normal M.O. is we need to get out of here, he now gives a speech about hope and how they need to hold out just a little longer. Boy was ready to die fighting for the cause too! Finn was anything but stagnant in TLJ and I’m excited to see what he does in IX now that he has fully accepted his role as Rebel Scum.

Now my man Kylo, he had the mother of all arcs! We can see Kylo being unhappy with Snoke from the get go, and even lets his anger take over as he actually tries to attack him (Snoke quickly puts him down with some Force lightning). Him bonding with Rey was done well, IMO, and them both thinking the could turn the other was in character. 

Kylo for me became actually dangerous in this movie, despite... not doing all that much. But like Adam has said in many interviews, Kylo thinks that what he does isn’t good necessarily, but he thinks he’s right. And that is dangerous, because he will use that to justify his actions.

Kylo deciding to be the Supreme Leader himself couldn’t have made me more happy. I wanted Kylo to be the big bad and Rian came THROUGH! Seeing Ren get more unhinged was like... fuel to me. I fully expect him to go full Azula in IX and I hope he gets to shine as the villain.

As for Hux... I didn’t really mind his characterisation in the movie. Sure, there are some moments that IMO could have been a little less comedy, but overall I loved his somewhat incompetent ass. In TFA we don’t see Hux do much besides giving orders, a speech and some sneering at Ren. I feel like we get a glimpse in his personality. Hux is arrogant to the point that failure is just not an option in his mind it seems. He is so cocksure about the Resistance going down that he doesn’t consider the option of their escape.

I loved, loved, loved the fact that he was about to pop a cap in Kylo’s ass and quickly hid that bc Kylo woke up and he knew he would probably not win that fight. Him immediately swearing fealty to Ren felt in character too. I’m fully assured that Hux is a ‘Live to fight another day’ kinda guy and I expect him to have something up his sleeve (other than a dagger) in IX and Kylo better watch his back, because his rabid cur of a general is coming for him.

I think the Poe/Holdo dynamic was pretty lazy writing. Their conflict could have been resolved fairly easily and it felt petty on both sides. This is my biggest gripe with the movie. Poe should have trusted Holdo and Holdo should have told people her plan. There was no reason for her not to spill the beans, and because she didnt say anything Poe could stage a mutiny fairly easily. That being said, I did love both characters. Laura Dern played Holdo very convincingly and I loved the softness she gave to a competent military leader.

As for Rey and Luke. Rey’s arc was good and I hope her parents really are nobodies. I loved Daisy’s acting, especially in scenes with Adam, and I feel like Rey is slowly gaining confidence in her part in this story. I wish she got some actual training from Luke though.

Luke... was a little bit dissapointing. I cannot believe that the same man that would not give up on Vader would give up so easily on Ben Solo. Maybe at the end where he fights Kylo and sees that Kylo is making all of this bad choices himself, but not when he was a student training with him. I can understand why Mark berated Rian for that. I did however love the twist that Luke was astral projection across the fucking universe, especially since Kylo mentions to Rey that the effort alone would kill you. Luke for me is a mixed bag of feelings. He has some great moments, and some moments where I felt his character was seriously mistreated.

Overall, even though the movie didn’t have the strongest plot, I still loved it. I loved that it went a different route. Thematically I would say it’s actually closer to The Return of the Jedi than The Empire Strikes Back, but I’m glad it didn’t emulate either movie. 

I do wish that there was more of a cohesion between TFA and TLJ, some characters (Like Kylo and Poe) seem very different from what we see in TFA. Kylo for example, sounds really different between these two movies. So for the character’s sake, I hope there is a little bit more cohesion between VIII and IX.

Charactober 2020 - Day 15 - Your OC using magical powers or superpowers! Chad Deyson is an fbi agent from Undercover. He lost his girlfriend Jane in a gunfire and he left the police after this for 2 years. All of us, at some point in our lives, we thought "if only I could turn back time". Then, I imagined Chad using time travel powers to bring his girlfriend back from the dead. I'm sure that this new version of his story will have a bad ending. Obssessed with his past, he'll lose the opportunity to heal his heart correctly and learn to love again, finding a new partner in Lena Sammet.

Charactober 2020 - Day 16 - You OC as a Pokémon Trainer. Alainasharyath... or just Alain, is a Natterei (aquatic hybrid) from Chronicles of Khâlid: Days of the Future. Of course, he'll be surrounded by Pokémons of water type. He trains a Horsea, Luvdisc, Goldeen, Finneon, Frillish and Magikarp (of course!) Enjoy! 

Charactober 2020 - Day 17 - Some Fanservice! Draw your OC looking sexy. A poor kid was sold by his own parents and was forced to work in a brothel named "Blue Palace". Years later, the owner transform him into "Diamond de Veneraux", the star of the brothel's show. After years of suffering, Diamond took the life of his step-father and ran away from the city he grows. He started to call himself "Cyan", dyed his hair in blue color and became a Bard-Harper. Enjoy! Charactober 2020 - Day 18 - Your cutest OC Tillian Clover from Chronicles of Khâlid: Wartime. I don't know if he's the cutest OC I have, but definetly he's so cute to draw. Till is an adorable gnome thief who loves alcohol and tavern fights. He's naughty, mischievous and more tough than the people thinks he is. He's always playing the good boy when he steals something and hide all the stolen goods in his magic hat. How could people think he's a thief with this cute face? xD 

Charactober 2020 - Day 19 - Your non-fantasy character as a fantasy character. They are the 4 Aces, a group of tricksters formed by Aideen, Alice, Alan & Axel from Undercover. Aideen works in a hotline, so she would be a Sune Priestess in this world! Alice is an illusionist and an escapist, so she's the Wizard. Alan is charismatic and has a talent to disguise, so the rogue and the bard suits him very well. Finally, Axel is the hacker and he would be a perfect Artificer. 

Charactober 2020 - Day 20 - Your fantasy character as a non-fantasy character. Fin the Warrior, Sak the Paladin, Matt the Mime and Zhavon the Sorcerer are characters from my old DnD campaigns. I tried to imagine them in the real world, taking the undergound. Finn is now the bodyguard of his girlfriend, the popular singer Gwen the Bard. Sak the Great, dedicates his life to fight the crime on the streets like a Policeman. Matt the Mime-Assassin recovered his noble past and became a succesful businessman. Zhavon still hates the world, the govern and the capitalism. He's now a Punk Anarchist and loves the things that are set on fire (His familiar, Ayame the Snake, is now a symbol in his jacket. This also is a sign of his past with Yuan-ti's clan). By the way, Zhavon was the character of Charactober Day 3 too!

Yes, I want a girlfriend. I miss having someone in my life who is an endless supply of support. I miss having someone to send mushy stuff to, because I am mushy and full of feelings. I miss inside jokes and daydreaming about the next time I see her. I just miss that.

2.When did your last hug take place?

Mm…Last Tuesday. I hugged my friend Tia.

3.Are you a jealous person?

Oh yes. But in my defense, it’s mostly because of my mental illnesses. I feel super insecure, and that can make me bitter.

4.Are you tired right now?

Yes, I just got back from jogging.

5.Do you chew on your straws?

Not anymore.

6.Have you ever been called a tease?

Believe it or not, I have.

7.Have you ever been awake for 48 hours straight?

No. My record is 39 hours.

8.Do you cry easily?

Only when I’m alone.

9.What should you be doing right now?

Cleaning floors.

10.Are you a heavy sleeper?

Ehhh…I wake up when people enter or move around the room I’m sleeping in, but I can sleep through tornado sirens, violent storms, and supersonic jets doing practice drills overhead.

11.Do you think you can last in a relationship for 6 months?

Honestly? No. I never seem to make it past 5 months. Most people just can’t handle my needs for validation and attention, so we end up breaking up for one reason or another.

12.Are you mad at someone right now?

Yes, though I probably have no right to be. So, my ex hasn’t spoken to me directly in over a month. No big deal…Wouldn’t be the first time this has happened. Except this time it’s different. In the past month, my cat Oliver was diagnosed with Lymphoma, I was in my first car wreck, totalted my car, and then a week after starting Oliver on chemo, we had him put to sleep because he wasn’t responding to it, and he was clearly suffering. So during all of this, I tried to get a hold of her, because I really…really wanted her comfort. I know it might be unfair to put that much on another person, but really I just wanted her to tell me it was going to be okay, and was there for me. The most I would’ve probably asked of her was to spend time with me after Oliver’s death, because I haven’t been without that cat in over 9 years, and he was basically my biggest source of emotional support for the past 9 years, and has kept me alive during some serious suicidal moments in my life. But I didn’t hear anything from her. I know we’re exes, but we are trying to be friends at the very least, and friends don’t let friends go through that alone. Especially not when I’ve told her during every crisis in her life since I came into it, in every hardship, that I’m here if she ever needs me. It just feels like I don’t matter, and to have that happen during all this negativity in my life, it’s been very detrimental to my self worth. So yeah, I’m angry. It’s like Rowan all over again when Spice died, except Rowan took it a step further, and said “It was just a cat.” But at least Rowan had the wherewithal to text me a, “U ok?” text and tell me “No” when I asked them to come over, despite being close to a mental breakdown and being highly non-verbal at the time of Spice’s death. (And Spice wasn’t even my cat, she was my brother’s. She just went into like cardiac arrest when I was home alone with her.)

13.Do you believe in love?

Sort of. True love isn’t something that just happens. It takes time, and equal effort. You need someone who can meet you halfway, and makes an effort to make you an active part of their life for it to be true love. You both need to be willing ot work through things, and admit when you hurt the other, and then NEVER do that thing again.

14.What makes you laugh no matter what?

Space Jam vines.

15.Who was the last person you talked to?

My mom.

16.Do you get butterflies around the person you like?

If I am around someone I like I get butterflies, yes.

17.Will you get married?

Gotta have a long relationship first, but we all know that’s not my forte.

18.When was the last time you smiled?

Like really smiled? I was at Target with my friend Emily, and we were buying a shit ton of Capri Sun, The Oregon Trail board game, a box of 120 Crayons, and some suer cheap Pilsberry Valentine’s cupcake mix and frosting.

My Finn, Raphael likes me. He tries to flirt with me a lot and always calls me beautiful, but honestly, I’m not really interested in him.

20.Do you secretly like someone?

No. Wait. Yes. I’ve had a secret crush on a friend for like three years. I won’t tell her though, because number one, we don’t talk much, and I feel like we’re better friends than anything, but got'damn if she ain’t my type.

21.Who was the first person you talked to today?

Technically…If we’re going off of what time it was, Rheann. If we’re going off after I fell asleep and woke up earlier today, my mom, when she handed me my new pocket knife.

22.Who do you feel most comfortable talking to about anything?

Emily probably. She knows I’m a dirty robot fucker, and there’s really no coming back from that.

23.What are you NOT looking forward to?

Developing the roll of film from Oliver’s last 24 hours alive. There’s roughly 35 shots on the film, and my professor REALLY wants me to develop it on Tuesday, but…If I’m being honest, I’m not sure I’m ready for that. Not when the last picture is-…Is after it was confirmed his heart stopped.

24.What ARE you looking forward to?

Spring break. My birthday is during spring break this year, so I don’t have to be at school on my birthday, so I get to sleep in, despite it being on a Monday. That’s really the only thing I’m looking forward to when it comes to the near future, and my birthday. I don’t really like to celebrate it, but sleeping in on it is definetly a plus.

25.Has someone of the opposite sex ever told you they loved you, and meant it?

Yeah, and it’s ridiculous.

26.Suppose you see your ex kissing another person what would you do?

Honestly? I would be pretty hurt. There are still some complicated feelings there, at least for me, and I would probably walk off, find a place to be alone, cry for a while, then cut all contact, and not speak to literally anyone for a while until I accept it, and allow myself time to heal and move on, before trying to become friends with her again.

27.Do you plan on moving out within the next year?

Wish I could.

28.Are you a forgiving person?

You have no idea the shit I have been able to forgive. I was able to forgive my abusive ex boyfriend, Lewis, despite him emotionally and mentally abusing me for a year. Now we play Minecraft together every so often. I can forgive people for canceling plans with me as long as they don’t cancel the next plans we have together, unless it’s like a family emergency or they got called into work, or freak weather happens. I can forgive almost anything if a person is sincere enough in their apology, and finds a way to make it up to me. I’m very easy in that sense. I pride myself on being a very understanding, very forgiving person. It’s one of my only virtues.

29.How many TRUE friends do you have?

…One? I guess? Emily has been my friend since freshman year of highschool, and has put up with my shit more than anyone else has. There’s never been a time where I’ve questioned her being my friend, nor have we ever really fought before.

30.Do you fall for people easily?

Okay listen here you little shit…I MAY have a problem with seeing pretty girls and going, “Holy fuck! Marry me?????” but listen! LISTEN! …I am an innocent little bean, just looking for love, and therefore, no one can judge me!

I mean…Realistically I could. I think I managed to not watch TV last Tuesday.

38.When was the last time you were extremely disappointed?

August 14th, 2016. The last Monday before I started school. My girlfriend at the time was supposed to come over and hang out with me on her day off. She never showed up, and when I texted her asking her if she was coming or not, she said no, and wouldn’t explain to me what was going on. So I flipped out and broke up with her because lord have fucking mercy, that was like the twelveth time she had flaked on me that summer, and I was livid! So I guess that would be the last time I was extremely disappointed.

40.Are you currently in a relationship?

No. Do I want one? Yes. Have I ever had one in February? No. Am I depressed by this? Fuck yes. Am I looking forward to Valentine’s Day? Hahaha I’m going to throw myself off a bridge.

Titanic I guess. I’ve only seen it 70 times.

42.Do you believe that everyone has a soul-mate?

I believe there are people who are soul-compatible. In your life time, you’ll meet many people like that. Friends, pets, romantic partners. Those that are truly your match will find ways to stay in your life for years and years and years. But in my opinion, souls change. Rarely though, you will find someone who’s soul changes with yours. Never let them go.

43.What’s your current problem?

I have 99 of them, and at least 4 of them are the fact that my cat just died. 1 of them is my sever lack of pink roses in my life.

44.Have you ever had your heart broken?

My heart is fragile. Even after years of abusive relationships both platonic and romantic, child sexual abuse, betrayals, and bullying, my heart is as fragile as butterfly wings. I trust too easily, I love to quickly, and believe too strongly. I set myself up for heart break after heart break, but you know what? I like being hopeful, and being intense with my heart. It’s apparently what makes me so charming.

45.Your thoughts of long distance relationships?

They don’t work for me. I require a lot of attention, so they’re a no can do. Kudos to others who make it work though.

46.How many kids do you want to have?

Hmm…I used to have vivid dreams of having three kids. Figure it gives me a chance to have a boy and girl, and then whatever happens happens.

47.Have you ever found it hard to tell someone you like them?

Yes. I don’t like to inconvenience people. Part of the reason my secret crush is my secret crush is because I didn’t want to hold her back. I don’t want people to feel obligated to return my feelings, and I don’t want people to date me, only to leave me a month later because I’m “too intense”. That’s why I find it hard to tell people I like them most of the time. The last person I told I liked them though, I did it because it felt right to me. It felt like if I didn’t I was going to miss out on the most important thing in my life. You know what I mean?
