Yeah!

- Meta Knight drinks a lot of coffee

- The characters in Meta Knight's species (like Kirby and Galacta knight) can't die from old age or most diseases but they can die if someone like tries to stab them or something. Yeah. Don't know how to put this one into words. Like they can die if someone tried to kill them but they don't become weaker over time and they can't usually get sick enough to die.

- Meta Knight is a monster created by NME who was modeled after Galacta Knight. (I haven't decided yet if Galacta Knight would still be a monster or if he'd be like one of the first Star Warriors. Idk. But yeah he went bye bye and is off like taking a nap or something and NME was like "wouldn't it be wacky if we made another one" and it did not go well. They gave him too many batman comics 😟)

- Meta Knight is pansexual but avoids getting into relationships because he's like immortal and doesn't want to watch his 85 million partners die

- He doesn't wear his mask because he's embarrassed about his face at all; he just thinks it makes him look cool, and it's one of his signature things that people recognize him for. Kinda like royalty wearing crowns or a superhero wearing a certain costume. Oh and because it protects him obviously.

- He's like thousands of years old but whenever someone asks him how old he is he says 41. Like you could know him for 20 years and he would still say it. He thinks it's funny when it confuses people.

i wonder what the danganronpa 69 and 96 cast would do if they were in total drama island instead

To be completely honest with you I've only ever watched the first season of TDI and I never actually finished it all the way through (lol). That being said I'm going off the gist of what it is and giving you some highlights of things that I could see happening:

Bojack is in the outhouse thing 24/7 complaining about everyone, everything and whatever else (he thinks if he complains enough the showrunners will give him what he wants, it will not work)

Dedede, Mario, Peter, and Kurumada are super competitive in the challenges and will probably actually resort to physical violence just to win

Kaidou also tries his hardest in challenges but ends up usually being one of the first to be eliminated

90% of the winners are L, Ayano, Luigi (by doing absolutely nothing), and Ena (somehow)

Teto, Ashley and Natsuki gossip about the contestants. Saiki likes to listen in because he agrees with 95% of it (the 5% is about Kaidou and while he does agree only he can badmouth him that's just how it works)

Jesse gets in trouble at least once a day trying to sneak a cigarette even though it's against the show's ratings (Walter is sick and tired and is confused why Jesse hasn't just been kicked off yet)

Miku tries to host a karaoke night every night by the campfire and while lots of the group join in at first, it slowly dwindles down each night as they get tired of it. Teto, 2D, Fluttershy, Parappa all stick around, as well as Hayasaka who claims he just feels bad if he doesn't go but is secretly doing it so he can listen to Miku sing vocaloid songs live

Yuri, Brian (Griffin), Retsuko, Bojack, and Ashley try to protest out of doing extreme challenges because they don't want to get hurt or they just can't be bothered (it does not work)

Hiroshi keeps wondering into the forest at night to study the local flora and Fluttershy does the same for fauna. Needless to say they have scared each other by running into one another in the darkness

The Conductor keeps trying to bribe the showrunners about his own ideas for challenges. Luigi overhears some of them and begs the showrunners to not go through with them

Nagito keeps trying to cause problems on purpose accident and Sans defends them only because he thinks it makes things more entertaining (also Sans deliberately gets himself eliminated early on so he can watch the rest of the group suffer)

On one elimination night, the host can't find the marshmallows to give out to the safe campers. Everyone starts arguing over whether it was Peter or Bojack who ate them all but it turns out it was Mai who took them all to bake some marshmallow cupcakes

If Monotora was a representative on the team, they'd do all they could to torment Brian (Pasternack) in every challenge. Brian tries going to the outhouse to complain about it but Bojack is already there so he just gives up (Hayasaka allows him to vent to him instead)

Latte is the hype woman trying to keep everyone's spirits high but the ones who want to win are already at 120% and the ones who want to go home are just crying

Mr. Krabs tries getting a crew to help him look for treasure on the island (his canon crew + Kaidou's team + Jesse). They all get in trouble after digging 50+ holes around the island

MALUS PUMILA AU

I started writing some things about Mistilor's world, and I thought I'd share it here as well! Info will be under the cut, as I did write a lot JSDH Feel free to ask me anything about the AU! I'm still developing it, but I've enjoyed working on it a lot!

What is the Malus Pumila AU?

In this AU, Magolor (who I often refer to as Mistilor) has been possessed by the Master Crown. During the fight with Mistilteinn, the crown planted a seed in Magolor’s head that allowed it to take control of his body and wreak havoc whenever it pleases. Think of it like a sort of Jekyll and Hyde situation, or like Dimentio and Mr. L in Super Paper Mario.

This is the basic gist of the AU, but the world of this AU is drastically different from the Popstar we know. This world’s Dreamland is a traditional Japanese-styled town, where yokai are known to live amongst the townspeople. Magolor was once an ordinary fox, but after putting on the Master Crown, he became a kitsune. In addition, this world’s Kirby is a Baku, who eats the dreams of others as a result of not being able to have dreams of their own.

So what about the rest of the Dream Team?

Dedede, rather than simply being the king, is actually the emperor of Dreamland! As laidback and carefree as he is, he’s pretty well-loved by the townsfolk. He tends to stay in his castle, but when he does make appearances in the town, he makes himself well-known and is happy to put on a show for the people.

The emperor, despite being the emperor, doesn’t actually hold any political power. Instead, he serves as a ruler chosen by the heavens. So that leaves the question: who holds the political power?

That power falls to Meta Knight, the shogun of Dreamland! As the military leader of Dreamland, he is very strict and hardworking in order to make sure no harm befalls the land. Some say he rules with an iron fist, but he really is just heavily devoted to protecting the land he loves dearly. However, sometimes his devotion ends up taking over his mind, and he’s unable to see how strict he is on others, especially those he cares about.. As a result, half the town respects him out of admiration, while the other half respects him out of fear. And that brings us to the last member of the Dream Team, Bandana Waddle Dee! Bandee is the right-hand man to the emperor, always found by his side and working hard to support him. While serving the emperor, he is also in training to become a ninja! He is heavily devoted to his training, so much that he has even taken a vow of silence in order to further dedicate himself to the work. When he’s not training or helping the emperor, he can often be found playing with Kirby and entertaining the townsfolk. As dedicated as he is to his work, he still finds time to enjoy his childhood to the fullest.

Propaganda and spoilers under cut

Dreamstalk: -It can be imbued with hopes and dreams and seems to have magical abilities -It's probably sentient in some way -it also serves as a host for Queen Sectonia to parasitize in the fight against Kirby (and Dedede) The Dreamstalk itself is a representation of Queen Sectonia. A symbol of hope and peace, of a lost love, and the final remnant of a queen who lost herself entirely and has finally fallen into an eternal dream.

A once kind girl and beloved friend became corrupted by an artifact out of her control, leaving her with nothing but an endless hunger for beauty. This endless hunger led her to parasitize countless people in search of her perfect form and the DNA of those people can likely still be found within the Dreamstalk- both her final victim and resting place.

Some semi related tidbits: -In the final battle of this game a theme plays that is titled "狂花水月きょうかすいげつ/kyōka suigetsu" or "Blooms of Madness and the Moon Reflected in Water/Madness Flower, Water Moon it is a play on the Japanese idiom: 鏡花水月きょうかすいげつ (Mirror Flower, Water Moon)

-In the game there are names for each world, if you take the first letter of each world name you can see they spell out "F-L-O-W-E-R-E-D"

I don't think I can fully express the symbolism and importance of dreamstalk but I did my best (and I tried to focus on the flower itself, although it really is a representation of Queen Sectonia which is why I had to explain her backstory a bit)

Myconid: Myconids are intelligent, ambulatory fungi that live in the Underdark, seek enlightenment, and deplore violence. If approached peacefully, myconids gladly provide shelter or allow safe passage through their colonies.

They are cool glowy mushroom-people and they communicate via Rapport Spores which is a very fun name for it.

Escargoon x Reader - Regalia

You stared at the piece of paper on the desk in front of you, twirling the pencil around in thought. After a while, you sighed. "I don't know what I want to be for Halloween."

"You don't know what to be?" Escargoon peered over your shoulder, causing you to immediately blush.

“Escargoon!” You sat up straighter, clearing your throat shortly after. “I… didn’t hear you come in…” 

Usually, he’d knock on your room to let you know that it was him instead of anyone else in the castle, but you must’ve not heard him, too deep in thought in the moment…

Escargoon chuckled, his slimy body wriggling in amusement. "I noticed…” He studied the paper you had been writing on. “So, you’re struggling with… costume ideas?”

"...Yeah, it seems so. I just can't decide on a costume this year…”

Escargoon tapped a finger against his chin, deep in thought... "Well, you could always go for something classic, like a ghost or a vampire. They never go out of style."

“You really could imagine me as a ghost?” You seemed amused. “Or as a vampire?”

“Sure! I think ya could pull it off.” 

“Ah-huh…” You looked back at the list of costumes on the paper. “I dunno… What did you come in here for, anyways?”

“What, I can’t come in here to see my favorite person?” He… then sighed. “But uhm. I was… unsure what costume to wear too.”

You raised an eyebrow in surprise. "You too, Escargoon? I didn't expect that."

He shifted uncomfortably, a hint of pink coloring his cheeks. "Well, yeah. It's not like I go around wearing costumes every day, you know, nor do I celebrate Halloween often.”

“Why are you celebrating this year, then?” You tilted your head curiously.

“King Dedede wants us all to dress up,” he grumbled, folding his arms. “I think it’s silly to dress up… for most people!” He added quickly, realizing that you often celebrated Halloween.

You couldn’t help but laugh. “If you say so…” You took a moment to think– before quickly coming up with an idea. “You know,” you began, “we can dress up as something together.”

“Like a couples costume?”

“Yeah, like a… a…” You blushed a little. Things were a little uncertain between you and him, a little unofficial, so the term couples caught you off guard. “L-Like a couples costumes.”

Escargoon hummed thoughtfully, not bothered by the term at all. “What should we go as?”

“...Good question.” You slowly pouted. After a moment, you glanced around the room, trying to grate some sort of inspiration. Though, in the end, you came up blank. “I dunno…”

He sighed dramatically. “Seems like we’ll need some assistance…”

“And who would we get assistance from?” You smiled weakly. 

Turns out, that would be the first person you and him would come across in the castle halls– Meta Knight. He gave you both an inquisitive look, looking at you two like you were the biggest morons. 

“And… you can’t settle on a costume idea?”

Escargoon groaned. “No, we can’t.”

Meta Knight couldn't help but hide a small smile. "Well, it's fortunate that you've come to me for advice. I've had my share of experience with costumes."

“You? Costumes?” You gave him a long look, glancing at Escargoon– who seemed just as surprised.

Meta Knight nodded slowly. "Considering your dynamic, I believe a theme that reflects teamwork and camaraderie would be appropriate. How about knights in shining armor?"

“...Knights?” Escargoon snorted.

You slowly lowered your bottom lip into a pout before actually considering it. “Well… it isn’t too bad of an idea. One of us could be the knight, and one of us could be a princess.”

“Why can’t we both be knights?”

“Because it wouldn’t be a couples costume if we were both the same thing!” You gave him a playful smile. “Besides, I’d like to see you in a dress.”

“You want me to be the princess?!”

Meta Knight looked between you and Escargoon, rolling his eyes. “Hope you two come to a decision,” he said, his cape flapping to the invisible wind as he took his que to leave. 

You watched him turn the corner before turning back towards Escargoon with a smirk. “Yes, I think you should be the princess.”

“Why can’t you be the princess?” He whined, his shoulders sinking. “I don’t want to wear a dress…”

“C’mon, you’ll be cute!” You put on your best set of puppy eyes. “Please…?”

He gave you a long look, inspecting your expression closely. After a solid ten seconds, he groaned loudly. “Fine, fine… I’ll be the stupid princess.”

You made a cheerful noise. “We should get started on finding our costumes,” you said… before pouting. “I’m not entirely sure where I’m supposed to find a set of armor that’ll fit me.”

“Looks like your shining armor is gunna be shining spray-painted cardboard,” he joked, slithering back towards your room and expecting you to follow.

You trailed behind him, staring at the floor and thinking… “What color dress should you wear?”

“I.” He grunted, heat rising to his cheeks. “I don’t know… What color seems the most flattering on me? As you can tell, I don’t wear clothes often.”

You hummed, looking him up and down. “Maybe red?”

“Red?” He scrunched up his face. “That’s such a bold color! I don’t think I can pull off red.”

“I think you can pull off any color you’d like,” you teased, causing him to groan once more.

“You’re lucky I’m willing to put on a dress for you,” he grumbled, keeping his arms crossed and moving a bit faster. 

You chuckled, appreciating his willingness to go along with the idea. "You'll look absolutely stunning, Escargoon, no matter what color you choose."

“...Ya really think so?”

You gave a firm nod. “Of course!”

He seemed to soften at your words. Conversation flowed smoothly after that, bouncing between other topics than costumes. Once you were back at your room, you began planning out costume designs with him and where you were going to find the materials. Though, all in all, you were just glad to be spending time with Escargoon.

Baby- Do they have any nicknames that people give them while regressed? He has quite a few! These include: Dedede: Baby bat, Mety Vul: Son, kid Mace: Buddy, little guy Axe: Kid Trident: Bud Sailor: Bub, honey (if she's feelin particularly soft) Javelin: Small captain Taranza: Bébé

Home- Is it safe for them to regress at home? If not how do they hide it? It is! All of the Meta-Knights are fully supportive of his regression and act as caregivers.

Life- Does their regression interfere with their daily activities? How do they cope? As much as Meta tries to separate his regression from daily life, there are a few times where it'll interfere. Sometimes he'll regress involuntarily from stress or lack of sleep, and he'll be frustrated because he had things he wanted/needed to do. The best way for him to cope is typically just to have his plush Mr. Blap with him, or for Sailor to make him some angel milk. It requires some communication, but thankfully it's never led to anything bad happening.
