It always been dumb to me that the "good" terminators never kill any innocent people. The T800 from the first movie puts its fist through a dude just for not immediately handing over his clothes and blows away the gun shop owner because it was slightly more efficient than paying. Meanwhile Uncle Bob from T2 despite being a fresh off the assembly line factory settings terminator of the exact same make and model conveniently doesn't deem lethal force necessary right up until here when John is there to stop it.

Throughout the whole franchise, despite by design having exactly the same total disregard for human life as the "evil" terminators somehow the ones you're supposed to root for keep failing to kill innocents. I don't get it, it's not like you could even blame them/hold them accountable for the morality of their actions. They literally lack a conscience until a human teaches it to them.
