Don't be a stranger, but be
strange. Come by often for a cup of tea,
in all your unbridled unknowability.

Review of When I Grow Up I Want to be a List of Further Possibilities by Chen Chen
Chen Chen has a connection with God. I had the pleasure of hearing him lecture in a poetry class I was in in college. Everything he writes I feel so deeply in my soul. My eyes jump from one word to the next with excitement, until I finish the poem and decide I want to read it again. He vocalizes thoughts that I have had but have never had to words to even describe. He has such a deep and profound understanding of human emotion. I can't even reflect on the poems because they're all fucking amazing & I'm just so in awe of HIM.
