um um um Tekken AU where Jun doesn't get got by Ogre and raises Jin, and also she helped iron things out among some of the Tekken 2 participants so she befriended them and they befriended each other, and in turn, their kids / grandkids became childhood besties. i have thoughts about this entire thing under the cut bc ive been rotating this au in my brain for so long LOL

in this AU, Jun doesn't get got by Ogre, so she's in Jin's life and he doesn't end up with Heihachi - but also Jun's presence helps clear up some of the stuff among the Tekken 2 participants so she becomes friends with Law, Paul Phoenix, Lee, Jinrei, Baek, and Michelle - probably would be on friendly terms with some others, but those are her main friend group

Jinrei and Lee help to hide Jin from Heihachi too, which is appreciated, but Jun largely moves around w Jin through his childhood, and Heihachi pays her no mind at all. they settle in Osaka near Asuka's part of the Kazama family tho, and everyone visits each other whenever they can - contributing to the kids becoming friends (will draw Asuka eventually)

Baek adopts Hwoarang when he's a lot younger for the sake of this AU, but also I think it adds an interesting thing bc haha he has to live with the guilt of killing his father but now HE is a father (((:

Uncle Lee is real to me. Uncle Lars would be real too, but I need to figure out where to fit him into the timeline, because he's actually around the same age as Forest????????

list of things that are real to me in this AU: Paul Phoenix / Marshall Law / Mrs Law polycule, actually accurate Native American Chang family (a friend and I figured the Changs would be Apache [: altho if there any inaccuracies with her regalia, pls let me know!), blasian Lee, a bunch of other things i can't name right now lol

so like, i imagine that Kazuya does come back eventually, altho we'll get to that whenever i actually draw a thing of all of the adults lol. let's just say tho .... he and Jun love each other while also giving EXTREME divorce lmao

Childhood travels were a thing for this 6 year old Chinese girl, she frequently travel with "her parents" and sometimes with her master, this time was a travel to Japan with his master Wang Jinrei who would visit a woman who he respected so much.

The man and his great-grandchildren finally arrived to the point where a woman dressed with a beautiful white dress awaited for them but she wasn't alone by her side a kid was looking them too "jinrei-San I really appreciate your visit" the woman greeted

The old master replied: "Kazama Jun, it's a pleasure to met you again after so much time, let me introduce you my great granddaughter"

The little girl introduce herself "Nǐ hǎo, I'm Xiaoyu"

"Konichiwa Xiaoyu, I don't know jinrei-San had a great granddaughter?" The woman aaked

Then the old master replied: "Me neither one year ago Kazama Jun, circumstances and destiny maybe cruel"

The woman understood the hidden messageand don't wanted to revive negative thoughts" It's fine don't worry, so Jin you want to say something?"

The boy knew by this words be educate and introduce yourself "Hi, my name is Jin Kazama nice too...meet you"

Her mother said to him "Don't be shy Jin they're good people what If you play a little bit with Xiaoyu what do you think?

The little girl began to jump and said with rousing "yes!, yes! play with me!, come on!" The kid accepted to play with her, an he took his hand and dragged him to play whatever in her mind was, at the begging he was mute and uncomfortable but meanwhile they played more, he began to enjoy the time with his new friend?

The old man laught and said "If Heihachi knew that he had a grandson... He would going nuts"

"Like you said before destiny is a cruel Ally so, maybe in the future he would become his tutor because, the evil spirit, may be each hour, day and year close it could be matter of time"

"In that case, it's better began a pray for make this presentiment go away" the old man smiled to the woman and tried to comfort her spirit

After a peaceful afternoon in the forest of Yakushima, the time to go had come for the old man has his great granddaughter

"Zàijiàn Jin, I don't want to go but Zúfú said we had to go" she shaked the boy hand in sign of goodbye

"I don't want you to go yet, maybe you come again and we can play" the seven years old boy said with sadness

"I don't live near of here" she answered.

"You always can take a bus" he navely said

The little girl laughed "A flying bus or a swimming bus yes!" When the girl was gone the boy was sad but her mother comforted him saying" don't worry Jin, I have a presentiment you will with meet her again"...

In terms of "canonical" stuff like character endings and prologues, who would you say are the strongest non-Mishimas in the roster?

Hmm... in my opinion:

-Wang and Lei: they might not be the strongest in term of pure physical strenght, but they have experience and abilities (and in Lei's case, he's so damn fast)

-Xiao: I'm probably biased, and I know a lot won't agree, but I'd like to remember to ya all that she wiped out Heihachi's army to get adopted AT 15. She might not be physically strong, but she's not someone you should underestimate, imho.

-Marshall

-Paul

-Dragunov

-Bryan: I was unsure if adding him since he's a cyborg, so he has "enhancements" that make him unusually stronger compared to others, but it felt kind of wrong to leave him out.

...it's hard for me to think of more, you know? Because I don't know what to take into consideration aside physical strenght and skills. Sorry if it feels it lacks some characters, because that's probably it. I also purposely avoided all the robots for obvious reasons, and the animals because it would be time for them to retire from the tournament and live their happy animal life.
