#makoto niijima #p5r #persona 5 #persona 5 royal #queen Persona 5 #mine #my art #Makoto’s outfit was also a huge letdown for me tbh #it’s just another catsuit with HORRIBLE chaos vacuum sealed to her arms and legs #and spikes thrown in just like. randomly #I think they should have taken some shape language from Johanna #in mementos dialogue she says she doesn’t like her mask so I changed that too #just make it a little more visually interesting #with a crown (and fangs to balance the upper spikes) #my inspiration was smashing the dnd Paladin class together with a biker gang aesthetic #she punches people she needs an outfit that draws more attention to her arms #hence the pauldrons #also since she’s the mom friend I gave her a Fannypack that’s not a Fannypack FIISKFKFKGOOGG #she deserves it #the black cloth around her waist is threefold #1. provide padding for that hip armor/the belts #2. echoing the scarf design wise #3. a FUCK you to the original design that was literally only good at drawing attention to her ass #I wanted to make her gloves Nuke colored blue but Yusuke already has ice blue gloves and the colors were too similar #the original white was too powerful and didn’t look very good #so they’re black

👎🏻 La Pluie - Sadly I had to drop this one because I got super bored by it. It had a very interesting premise and the first 2-3 episodes were solid but then it deflated. Them revealing Pat as the soulmate so soon was a fatal mistake imo, they should have leaned more into the mystery of who he is to Saengtai etc. The story with Lomfon and Saengtian had an interesting start as well but then went nowhere. It’s a pity because I thought they were onto something with this show. oh well.

okay i'll say it: the bbc ghosts christmas special fucking sucked.

season 7 of supernatural could've been good if they had made the leviathans coolor and more monster-y and used their budget for practical effects instead. like imagine if they took on a human appearance, but then similar to early seasons shape-shifting stuff we see, their bones start to crack and shift under the skin and their bodies contort until they're some other kind of actual beast, like they're hyped up to be by Death right before we actually see them
