It's WipWednesday and this wip got me so damn hyped 😅

I present to you—famous heartthrob, beloved good boi, cheesy-movie actor Andrew meets the-one-who-got-away-with-murder world-infamous menace to society Neil. 😁

A snippet:

“I don’t want to quit. I’m just tired of the same roles all the time,” Andrew says.

“Then try for something else. Be the villain for once.” Aaron laughs. “You’re gonna make a mean villain. I’ve always wanted to have a villain arc.”

Andrew rolls his eyes. His brother enjoys seeing his own image on screen way too much. He has half a mind to throw a comment about narcissism but he’s too drained to spare the effort. 

“The bad guy,” Andrew says. “That’s not what people want to cast me as. When you’ve done so many cheesy movies it’s hard to break the mold.”

Aaron shrugs and throws his feet back on the coffee table. “Maybe you just need a little public scandal. Break the law a little. Or, I don't know, date an asshole.”

“I don’t date,” Andrew says pointedly. Who has time for that anyways?

Aaron shrugs. “No one says it has to be real dating.”

It’s not the most ludicrous idea if he’s completely honest with himself. Faking a controversial relationship. People have done a lot worse things in the movie industry and still remained likable enough. No, he’s not talking about heinous crimes or anything, he’s not a fucking monster. But he could lay off the tame pictures on his Instagram account and upload something a bit more reckless. He could get a motorcycle. Fuck someone famous’s dad or something.

snip bit of a little thing im doing below!

tw: depression amd implied csa/ca (very light though)

it doesnt matter that andrew lays in bed for the next few hours because he is r o t t i n g. the flys are buzzing around his head and people are asking him to get up, but he wont. he cant. he is already dead.

kevin keeps yelling and after a while andrew wants to yell back because doesn’t he see? doesnt he see that andrew is a old rotting apple core? picked apart by wanting mouths and then left to rot?

he doesnt yell back though. he doesnt even move. he cant. Andrew wonders when he died. was it when he was seven and wished it would all stop? when he was 5 and wished someone would love him? or maybe 12 when he wished he could have held on a little longer to cass?

he doesnt know anything, really. he just knows the flies and the rot.

and thats all he will ever know.

WIP Wednesday!

Here's a sneak peak at the first chapter for my aftg cruise au:

“Well?” Allison asked, ignorant of, or just ignoring, his displeasure. Neil gave her a deadpan look that roughly translated to do you really think I was paying attention?

Allison rolled her eyes. “Seven day cruise out of Galveston, Texas on the Fiesta Prospect going to Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Mexico. Saturday to Saturday in May after finals and graduation. Yes?” Neil wasn’t sure what Fiesta Prospect meant, but the idea seemed relatively straightforward.

“I’ve never been on a boat.” Neil mused. “My mom and I always flew or drove everywhere. Seems like it could be interesting, but why out of Texas? I thought you said it goes out of South Carolina.” Allison sighed heavily.

“Honestly, you need to stop staring at your boy toy and pay more attention. I already explained, Grand Cayman is supposed to have beautiful beaches and the cruises that go out of South Carolina don’t go there. Jamaica and Mexico seem like good places to go too.” Neil wasn’t interested in beaches, but he figured that made sense. 

Neil looked back at Andrew, who was still looking at Neil. Neil raised an eyebrow in question at him. Andrew rolled his eyes and pressed his thigh into Neil’s where they touched on the beanbag. Neil took that as his silent agreement. “It’s a yes from us, only as long as we drive to Texas.”

“Road trip!” Nicky hollered. “It’ll be fun!”

“Fine.” Allison raised her arm. “All in favor of going on this cruise?” The Upperclassmen and Nicky agreed enthusiastically while Kevin threw his hands up in defeat.

“Can we bring a plus one?” Aaron asked, finally looking up from his phone.

Neil answered before Allison could.

“Sure. I’ll pay for us. Nicky, you can bring Erik too.” Nicky thanked Neil profusely while Aaron just scowled at Neil, but he didn’t argue. No one bothered commenting on his offer to pay for Andrew’s family and Kevin. At this point they knew about his mother’s leftover money. Neil didn’t really ever spend it, so he figured he might as well treat his family.

And just like that, they had a cruise planned.

- Mary commits suicide

- Tilda in relationship with social worker (based on a guy I knew)

- AFTG sailing AU (very vague because idk what exactly I want here)

My DC fic ideas:

- Tim doesn't become Robin (still finds a way to help batman, though), but his parents still die, and Steph still becomes Robin

- Iron Man and Batman universe swap (probably done already, but shhh, I have an idea)

- Mystery fic

My PJO fic idea:

- What if Poseidon was nice just because he wanted to avoid Percy getting swayed by Luke and gods' involvement was a but more like the one in Illiad iykwim.

My original story ideas:

- Psychological/YA with some fantasy elements about daughter of serial killer victim

- YA thingy where I completely abuse one of the nicest characters to even exist during his found family adventure with some random criminal and an orphan

- Fantasy/Romance that got prompted by a quote from Master and Margarita by Michail Bulhakov

- Psychological/Thriller (maybe also fantasy) where I tackle the subject of toxic relationships between two mentally ill teenagers.

- Dark YA with some folklore/mythological stuff and magical forest prompted by a nightmare I had. (Told from the antagonists' Pov)

- My attempt at writing the most shallow character I could think of, who does stupid things without any deep reasons you can analyse

- YA/Fantasy that is kind of commentary on war and also influenced a little bit by my lecture of Machiavelli's "Prince"

- I just read Six of Crows and decided to get creative with similar tropes

- We're destroying the monarchy from Monarchy's pov
