A hat in time AU idea: Apocalypse Swap au (or just APswap au, wip).

Background: a sort of ahit swap au but with some Fallout shennanigans in between, this changes the roles of multiple characters while also putting a post apocalyptic spin on Hat Kid's origins as well as aging her up to her species equivalent of 15 years old.

The storyline however is very different as it brings back many cut characters and locations, passes character traits onto new ones and follows a combination of retail and cut content. It also explores Hat Kid's past and the actions leading up to her escape.

Calcite Characters:

Mustache Girl (real name: Jane, sirname unknown) is a local resident of the city of Calcite and an apprentice to Tim the CEO of Time, she mostly shares her canon personality but the trauma with the mafia is mostly removed (as I'm giving it to Bow Kid) due to being sheltered by Tim despite him lossing a Time Piece to the Lazy Paw Mafia Boss.

Bow Kid (real name: Laura Jennings Durr) is another local resident and a victim of the Lazy Paw's brutality as they imprisoned her and murdered her parents, she is probably one of the only denizens actively fighting the Lazy Paw using sabotage. This has led to gaining a few scratches here and there. Following Jane defeating the Lazy Paw boss Laura almost went the same way as retail Mustache girl with only Tim coming in at the last second promising the removal of the lazy paw if she helps Jane stopping her.

Hat Kid (real name: Penny Lesley Kiethman) is a space traveling alien from an unidentified planet escaping on a solar sail generation ship with under a million of her kind, her ship halts near Earth and she awakens from her cryo induced slumber only to find that her pod was the only one to open. She desperately heads down to Terra to find parts to fix her ship but gets fixated by the Time Pieces and she wishes one to fix up and power the reactor. Problem is that Jane won't hand one over...yeah you know where this is going. Following her defeat at Generations and Timelines Penny lays low for a while before saving Jane's life at the Arctic Town.

The Lazy Paw: a cat gang coming from an unidentified location that had decided to take over most of Calcite and basically took over their segmants governing council, they wrapped up warm for Calcites colder enviroment with fur and leather coats and are ruthless towards anyone who pisses them off. Their leader the Lazy Paw Boss was the one that personally killed Laura's parents and gouged out one of her eyes.

Goofy Paw (real name: Josef Fritz Verville) is a member of the Lazy Paw gang, while he is a reliable member he is also a cryptozoologist and a member of a local conspiracy theorist group made up of Lazy Paw members and locals. He is the first one to encounter Penny and was the one who reported to LP Boss about her.

Tim (full name Tim Davis Reginald) the CEO of Time, local somewhat insane person (although Oldster beats him by far), high ranking Timekeeper of the ACTT and a very eccentric individual. He is known for being very carefree but still takes his job seriously, his predessesor told him to not have a melt down. How he had a meltdown over not having a meltdown is beyond me but he wishes to fix it so he sends Jane out to put things right.

Sam the Detective: a detective that specialises in different factors and currently on the payrole of the Lazy Paw to look the other way while they committ the crimes they do, while Sam is somewhat Scummy the Lazy Paw do have his family hostage and he is a good, if somewhat scummy, person.

Oldster: an old senile man living in a dumpster, oldster was once a respected part of town but the Lazy Paw utterly destroyed him both physically, emotionally and financially. He was rendered a paranoid, decrepid old man.

Timekeeper Blu: a relatively experienced Timekeeper and proud of his job, he is a very joyful individual but can sometimes be too serious and even hostile. If someone unfamiliar even touches a Time Piece he can get very defensive. Blu takes Laura under his wing as an apprentice following the events of Generations and Timelines.

Lady Puella: A very experienced Time Keeper rumoured to be older than this current Timeline, Puella is a very strict keeper and is good at first response and at dealing with struggling or troublesome apprentices. She was also a first responder during the events of Arctic Town and following those events takes Penny under arrest and places her in the ACTT's youth reformatory program before taking Penny under her wing as an apprentice.

Spamta Claus is a Deltarune AU that pulls inspiration from the infamous "Spamelle" concept, but with a fair few twists in comparison. Something goes wrong when the fountain in the library is forming in Chapter 2, causing Spamton to be forced into Noelle's body. You can read more details on the swaps + general premise over on Google Docs! The brand new Spamelle design + the art in the thumbnail were done by @bittybattybunny. She did a really great job bringing my vision for this AU's version of the character to life, and I'm incredibly happy with the final result.

Spamelle technically takes the role of Spamton. (Or does she keep it???) After something with the fountain's formation in the library goes very wrong, Spamton is forced into Noelle's body. Now Spamton is the [[BIG SHOT]] making all the [[Deal(s)]], while poor Noelle is stuck as a passenger in her own mind, watching as the world and the events there within change around her. While she's not the dominant force by any means however, Noelle's various terrified/pained thoughts *do* wind up seeping into Spamton's dialogue a fair bit, much to Spamelle's occasional chagrin.

So ye, I've done exactly what I said I would in A Real Girl's description: there is now a second Dialtone replacement for Spamelle over on SoundCloud! This initially WOULD have been the first one, but there was no fuckin way I was gonna post a Spamta Claus track with yet ANOTHER unfitting public Spamelle design, so it was worth holding this back for the awesome thumbnail art + AU-specific Spamelle design! Someone beat me to the punch during the thumbnail's creation timeline, and I'm honestly kinda happy about that. It's low-key tiring/frustrating at times being the only one to even think of trying to fill certain musical gaps with my limited skill, whether it's UT/DR or AHIT, so I'm glad SOMEONE else had a similar thought for once! Anyhow, back on topic. I decided to take a cue from a track that already inspired me before, and base this Dialtone on a holiday carol. And considering how well the time signature lined up already, Silent Night was just an obvious perfect fit for me. On top of that tho, I also included a tiny bit of the original Dialtone melody at the very end of the piano's melody, and modified Lost Girl into the french horn part in the second half. Speaking of which, yeah! I actually decided to go for a more orchestral style in the second half (all while keeping the same phone ringing and dinky toy-like piano underpinning it all.) I figured it would help both bring a somewhat unique flair to this, as well as (hopefully) aid the intended underlying melancholy in this arrangement. All in all, p damn happy with how this turned out, and I hope you guys enjoy!

Hello! And welcome to my main page/blog, though. And also, you already know me well as Hrystina on DeviantArt or hrysti_howl on Instagram, so here I am now finally, last month, back more than five years ago when my account was locked out by TFA until now thanks to Tumblr's management accepting my request by enabling TFA lock through on messages in my Gmail page. And also, from my accounts of other social networks, I like to publish older and newer pictures I had from time to time (however, despite the fact that the Tumblr algorithm is quite likely to blur the perishable qualities of the sizes of my photos in the posts).

And also, I have to slightly reinforce the rules that you (or what if you are new followers) should have known carefully in a better way:

This blog is allowed to pass as:

- Multi-fandom/media or original-related arts (including Corpse Bride as my most favorite Tim Burton’s movie of all time along with Monsters Inc.).

- AUs or Crossover-related stuff (including if applicable: AHiT Role Swap AU, AHiT Cursed Birds AU, Corpse Bride Monster AU, my unfinished/upcoming crossover AU fanstory/fanfic/project called Star Heart, etc.).

So I noticed people seemed to like my art for askamnesiamoonjumper's au so I figured I'd share some stuff from my old role swap au redrawn. I have my other au A Time in Decay, but honestly out of the two my role swap au is the clear favorite. So I thought that today I'd post some sketches of the character designs.

First off here's the 'The Ship' group and the 'Arctic Metro' group. For this au I split all the cast into groups based on the first location you see them in with the exception of the badge seller who was put in the ship group for the sake of convenience. Oddly enough I'm actually the most happy with my ideas for the Arctic Metro, the Nyalpine Skylines, and the Alpine Cruise (name is still a work in progress). Though I love drawing the designs for Royally Dead Studios, and Mafia woods. Honestly the only area of the au I don't like is Future City mainly because the concept is really difficult to work with. I'll post more sketches later once I've finished them.

Day 15! Role Swap!

So in this I changed their dynamic, not personalities!

instead of Eclipse wandering in on Snatcher in the woods, Arulius wandered into the Horizon and met a lone guardian. Afraid of Vanessa following him he helps her with her work in the Horizon but also makes her relax and stop working so hard---

Okay ficlet~!

He raised his claws a moment to let the dweller nuzzle into his hand. He gave a soft smile as it then flew off back into the cloudscape. He shifted the bells as he moved to jump to a new platform and gripped at the red threads, pulling on them as he wandered. He wrapped them into a tight ball as he landed on a large platform and sighed. He brushed a lock of hair back and put his hands on his hips.

“Alright I think that’s it for today.” he huffed proudly. He lifted his hands and let the balls of thread float there for a moment before vanishing in a puff of smoke. “Now to get back to Nightingale!” he looked down the platform’s edge and took a deep breath.

“Okay Arulius. You can do it. Just. Fly.” he mumbled and lept. He tried to glide but felt himself starting to fall through the endless sky, “AH! AH!! NOooo!!” he screamed, closing his eyes tightly and gasped when he landed in dark furred arms. He cracked his eyes and looked up at the wolfish specter, “Nightingale!” he laughed nervously.

“Prince.” she clicked her tongue.

“Ah…” he scratched his cheek ashamed, “I was trying to fly.”

“Fly over platforms until you are ready.” she chided and shifted him from her arms up to her shoulders with a small chuckle. Her form went from the partial humanoid to full wolf as he sat on her back with a sigh. He gripped her fur as she took off across the horizon.

“Did you collect the severed threads?” she asked as she jumped effortlessly from platform to platform, her black fur sparkling in the ambient lights.

“I did!” he grinned, before wincing, “ow ow. I bit my tongue.”

“Not used to being a shade yet?” she snickered.

“I don’t think you just get used to it.” he grumbled as he leaned down into her fur.

“You will with time.” she swished her tail as the large boney tree appeared. She walked along the water, the sound of bells with each paw step.

He straightened up and pulled the threads back from the pocket dimension he hid them in and dropped them into the water where they dissolved into blue wisps.

“We’re good for the day now?” he asked quietly.

She paused, ear flicking near her horns, “I suppose. I never rested before you came.” she laughed and began to walk away from the tree.

“Well you need rest. Nightingale or not.” he frowned and laid in her fur tiredly, “I don’t understand how you just keep going day after day like this.”

“You get used to it.” she sighed and moved to jump towards a glowing rift. She leapt through as they entered into the woods and walked along the fallen leaves.

“Mmhm.” he grumbled, getting down. He pulled his cloak tightly to his shoulders as he walked with her towards the run down manor. He opened the door and snapped his fingers, blue flames igniting all the candles.

He turned to her, “Coming?”

“Ah.. right…” she frowned as her fur retracted into her as she took her more human form. She rubbed her chained arms as she followed after him into the building. “I’m not used to doing this much anymore.”

“You’ll get used to it.” he teased with a wink.

She stared and laughed loudly making him cackle with her. He reached to pull her close causing her to turn bright red, her wings fluffing up.

“At this size though. I can actually hold you.” he gave a sharp, ever too wide, smile.

She stared and smirked, “I suppose so. Prince.”

“Mmhm!” he snickered and rested his head on hers, “You’re so warm. I’m so jealous.”

She nuzzled against him to try and heat him up more, “well I’m partially alive still. You’re not.”

“Don’t remind me.” he grimaced as they headed towards the study. He sat in the chair tiredly and leaned back. She sat on the arm of the chair and played with blue threads.

“What are you weaving?” he asked curiously. He leaned on his hand to watch her.

“I’m messing with someone’s chances of getting lost near the manor,” she explained.

He grimaced, “I'm not… hungry…” he frowned.

“You have to eat.” she huffed, “I’ll do the dirty work. I need my assistant at full power.” she puffed her cheek up as she stretched the threads, “and-- there.” she grinned, “soon someone will come knocking. Hopefully, it’ll be filling.”

He sighed, “Do I HAVE to eat them?”

“You do. Or you’ll turn feral and do it anyway. Unless you wish to become more monstrous. You’ll do it.”

He sighed and leaned back, “I guess… but I feel like a monster either way---” he flinched as she covered his eyes with her warm hand. He shifted to move her hand but she leaned and kissed his hand instead as he did. He felt his face grow warm and looked away ashamed, “Sorry…”

“Don’t apologize. This is the moonjumper’s fault anyway.” she sighed heavily, “Moronic Sena.”

He laughed, “yeah!” he stared at her as she looked out the window with a sad look. Closer inspection he noticed she was actually staring at her reflection as she touched the chains on her neck.

“Find the lone guardian…” he mumbled softly and reached up, snapping her back. She stared and smiled as he kissed her gently.

Only then. Will you find your home and worth.

NIKO ATK ? DEF ? * Hey, I recognize this guy from those movie posters! * They... don't seem too happy though. * Wonder what's got them down?

Time’s End is an AHIT/Undertale crossover AU of sorts, taking place in the aftermath of a timeline where you lose the final boss fight against Mustache Girl. You can find the write-up here! Niko (from Here Comes Niko!) takes the role of So Sorry. Mustache Girl's extra Time Piece smashing, along with further changing the world and permanently crashing Hat Kid's ship, also dragged Niko out of their own world and into this one. Now stranded in Dead Bird Studio, with no idea of where to go or what to do, it's no surprise that they (somewhat begrudgingly) accepted an offer from the Conductor: become a main star in his movies, in exchange for room and board in the studio. Niko is now almost just as well as known as the Conductor... but they're not happy, not in the slightest.

AU patch notes time boiiiiii! >Realized that I made a bit of an oversight while initially writing the Neutral Endings document. Along with a few typo corrections, I have also added two Aborted TimeWarp endings. >Elaborated on certain aspects of Empress and Conductor's sections that I neglected to properly flesh out before. >Tweaked Snatcher's section. >Finally figured out the Glyde and So Sorry roles, taken by Vanessa and Niko respectively. Their new sections have been added to the main write-up along with the above tweaks.

I bet a lot of you are completely and utterly confused as to why I chose this particular role swap (especially you peeps in my SoundCloud audience XD) Here Comes Niko! was developed by Frog Vibes, but since Gears for Breakfast helped publish the game, I figured putting the main character of that game into a role here would be a nice lil connection/nod to what's honestly a p dang nice and underrated game. (And hey, it helped kill two birds with one stone by filling a role I had zero ideas for prior hueh.) Anyhow, this was a very neat track to make. HCN's tracks aren't really made for a battle context like this, so it was fun figuring out how to make the ones I chose work! Primarily went with Frogtective and The Beginning, for those wondering. Am incredibly happy with how this turned out, and I hope you guys enjoy!

Hello everyone!! Did you really miss me right away or not? Because I haven't used my own account for a long time and I haven't logged in for five years, when it was still locked and it was impossible to get into it or accessing the account login through the two-factor authentication lock, until now with the help of Tumblr's management through a message in my Gmail page that succeeded accepted my request to disable the TFA system for good. And now I finally returned to my main blog to continue posting some old and even newer pics with new experimental art styles, which I myself have been practicing for five or four years on my own time together with reading and writing, and even just helped me to learn to speak quite accurately and clearly, but regardless of what I have my speech delay rolled over all the time. But although, I immediately and timely deleted unnecessary reblogged posts and my own posts, except reblogged fanarts/gift arts of my OCs or old AHiT Role Swap AU and find/publish enough new and better ones that it warranted to prefer reblogged/published.

And besides, thank you very much for understanding my recent vent/information and I hope you have a good day/night.
