ok i slept for uhhh seventeen hours on and off since last night bc chronic illness <3 BUT that means I'll be up until like five am tonight. sad. BUT!!! that gives me time to read fics that i've meant to for months, and reading fic in general is something i don't do often so i'm kind of excited for my accidental all nighter era.

I feel like I struggle with things most people can do in their sleep. #I don't have enough blood in my brain to think half the time /literally and medically. not joking here #I'm chronically pretty fucking hypoxic and have blood pooling #so i know I need to be more understanding of myself here #but realizing your limits are different from other people is just so difficult to reckon with #especially in your early twenties (21.5) when I see other people making huge progress towards independence #i WILL still move out within the next couple years if i can help it. but I also know it will be uniquely challenging for me. #sigh. #I desperately want independence but it doesn't really want me lol #too bad for independence though. I've made it work this far and I'll keep pushing as far as I can with it. #my main concern is driving though. driving and brain fog reaction times/occasional syncope are. not great things to mix! #will cross that bridge when i get there

i think my biggest issue with rebirth so far (other than BE NORMAL ABOUT YUFFIE GOOD LORD) is just how much i personally dislike some of the visdev/aesthetic choices (they aren’t Bad they just aren’t my style) which is reinforced by how much i love the stupid flip phones in advent children. chadley should literally be texting cloud emoticons. i hate his weird ipaaaad

Part of the score in fullmetal alchemist brotherhood reminds me of one of my favorite parts of score from rwby v9 and I think it's neat!

Both bits of score play several times in it's respective show. I'm on ep30 of brotherhood and just heard it play around 11:50 while Mustang and Hughes are talking on the hill (the track itself starts a little before 11:50). It plays in some of the more quiet/somber or reflective(?) moments I think

As for the rwby score I can only remember one instance off the top of my head: in the finale right after the big fight when the team has a moment to breathe and Neo is in the background. Specifically the melody that plays as Neo leaves, but like the score in that whole part of the scene is kind of similar

Other people know and maybe i know now, Adulthood? Everything is yours. Everything - The world is your lens and you get to pick the color. You can live your whole life in colors shifted down the color wheel You can live in a moment that you cannot call a job Cannot call a hobby Cannot stick a good rationale onto like a label maker stuck to a Tupperware… I want to go to there.

What is the language of music? Give me that colored lens. The way it moves you The way it can change day to night and emptiness to completion. I want the music in my veins. Let me access it each day

Genuinely cant stand horror because im the worlds biggest scaredy cat but ive been looking into gemini home entertainment and now i cant stop thinking about a hawkins indiana version. A fake town in 1980s america with some dark force watching it from the shadows, taking people and killing them and forcing itself inside them, all while this lone laboratory attempts to neutralize the issue until the party gets involved. The government not doing anything to help hawkins so it seems like the residents are truly trapped in their own town while most arent even aware of this. The idea of being taken over and corrupted and made entirely different by something far away but still so close. Something crawling into your mind, tearing its way through your eyes and ears, some huge monstrous and unnamable beast in the sky looking down at you, unknowable, just watching. The whole thing with the flayed in season 3 reminds me of the fake people from gemini home entertainment. I think a really good au would be a series of home videos from the residents of hawkins documenting the strange and sudden demise of their town and their friends through forces more eldritch and horrific than they could imagine, but they think its just an earthquake or a fire. Maybe some psa’s from hawkins local news stations that start sending out unnerving messages about apocalyptic preparations and to not go into the forest and to watch out for your swimming pool at night. The home video aspect i think would do a lot to bring the horror to a more real level. The humans story from the non-understanding mind, a mind incapable of understanding, only falling prey to it

So I accidentally picked up a horse in BOTW by killing a Bokoblin that was riding it and then realizing it was just standing where the monster left it and I felt bad so I got on it and we just bonded instantly. I had the large issue of being very far from the nearest stable- not actually that far if I could’ve crossed the river but horsie can’t swim across the river, so travel the long way into territory I hadn’t even mapped yet it was.

It took like 45 minutes of my life to find the path that worked, then succeed in taking the path while ignoring all everything around me to get to the stable as fast as possible.

A dozen shrines, passed. A fully functioning guardian, murdered me on sight (still no idea where that fucking thing came from), then passed on attempt two. About a million other mobs, passed. The village I’m supposed to find the next part of the quest in, slowly passed through cause I couldn’t make my horse sprint in it. River, finally crossed with the only bridge I could find. Stable, finally found successfully with me and my horse alive.

And after all that, me and Beepee are bestest friends :)

i went to the optometrist for the first time ever after my doctor suggested it cause my eyesight has been blurry the past few months (hard to read bus numbers etc) and it turns out

still not too bad, but enough that we ordered me some glasses, so that oughta be fun! the medicaid stuff is pretty decent too and i even got to order sunglasses and have both pairs totally covered which is great cause i only have like $10 😅

Small note under the readmore

Also a small request, while Sun is genderfluid in this au and goes by she/they/he, I would prefer people use she/they when making general comments about her since she rarely uses he/him. I understand that most suns go by he/him and that it’s not technically misgendering but it still makes me a bit uncomfy ‘cause she’s transfem and those aren’t her main pronouns, so I figure I should say something rather than continuing to be uncomfy. (Using he/him in like fic comments where she’s actually using he/him is totally fine, it’s just when it’s general convos about her that I would prefer she/they used rather than he/him).

It’s not anybody specific doing this, it’s just a general assumption that people make that Sun uses he/him so I’m gonna start clarifying when posting art that she goes by she/they mainly. If you have used he/him before, there’s no need to apologize, I don’t remember any specifics of who has and hasn’t used he/him. I just figure since it makes me a bit uncomfy, I should say something rather than letting it slide because on a technicality, it’s not misgendering.

Tbh it’s less so the pronouns themselves that bother me and more so that I know most people who see the art without knowing the au and her gender say he/him thinking that Sun is a guy. Which is an extremely understandable assumption, canonically Sun and Moon seem to go by he/it, and they/them as Eclipse. I 100% don’t blame anyone for assuming my Sun’s gender or pronouns. Which is why I wanted to clarify things, so people aren’t confused and unintentionally/accidentally making me a bit uncomfortable.
