Let me give you an example:

I technically don’t care what pronouns I am called, but for legal reasons, I am a she/her female outside the internet. My mutter, who grew up with womanhood back in the day (millennials 🙄/j), was told that women should always shave their legs. So, I was too.

Me though? I ignored that part when I grew into my teenage years. I started shaving when I wanted to (which isn’t often tbh) and only when I wanted to. Not when other people thought I should, it was when I thought I should that mattered to me.

My mutter? Didn’t get it at first.

When I walked around with my leg hair out, she would start asking me when I planned on shaving; I would shrug and say, “probably soon.”

That would end up with me basically forgetting my leg hair existed. My grandma is the one who really doesn’t let that shit slide and has “threatened” to hold me down and let her do it, but I’m like: “stfu, not one gosh-diddly-darn soul asked for your fucking opinion, Susan 😐 and that’s really fucking weird”.

Honestly, after that first conversation, I was getting something from the kitchen when my mutter got out of her bed, walked up to me and asked: “Are you not shaving because you’re lazy or because you really don’t want to?”

I told her the truth, “I shave when I want to, ma.”

She takes that truth with her for the rest of her days.

My grandma still doesn’t like it; continues to remind me that people won’t accept me for it. However, I like to think my mutter has proved her wrong.

Now a days, I got my mom protecting me from it: “It’s her choice, it’s her decision, can’t you leave it at that?” She told my grandma (her mom) one day in the car. I’ve never smiled so wide. Over fucking leg hair, though, can you believe it?

My grandma still likes to complain anyway (she loves me, I swear, she’s just a tough cookie, and a boomer) but the more she does it, the more I laugh and we just move on.

Do you see what I’m getting at here?

You influence your kids.

But they are kids, they usually grow up thinking that their beloved parents are always right. They don’t know any better, until they grow up. Whether they choose to go down that path of hate you taught them or if they decide to expand their knowledge and UNDERSTAND what is going on with others heads is their choice and their choice alone. (I honestly encourage the latter, but, whatever floats the boat I guess.)

You don’t have to like it but it has reached into other peoples hearts, gave it a hug, saying “I understand you, you are not the only one, you are loved, you are safe with us, you are not alone.” At least give credit where credit is due. It sends out an important message for people who hate who they are to not hate who they are and to embrace the beauty within them. Ok so let’s just jump into the meat of the matter here. First and foremost, I just want to let you know that there will be more Stepson! Gojo x Stepmom! Reader story coming up in the future. I actually have chapter two sitting in my draft, I’m just not comfortable with releasing it as yet.

Now, as for If Only He wasn’t, If Only I were, there won’t be a continuation of that story and I have a few reasons I won’t continue with it. The first reason is due to the fact that when I first published the story and I realise that I was getting a lot of support and being the people pleaser that I am, I began to rush the story and because I rush the story I fucked up the story line. There was no fixing it without deleting the whole entire story. 

My second reason ties back to the first one and that is I made a lot of mistakes when writing. I created a lot of plot holes and questions, more than answers to questions like (where are the parents? How did Gojo and Y/N keep their relationship hidden from them for so long? How would they react to it?) and many other questions. Once again I wouldn't have been able to fix that without deleting the whole story. 

My third reason is that Gojo didn’t really have much of a character or character personality (if that makes sense) he has no reason to become a yandere. I just felt like him hoping into yandere mode that quickly just felt rushed and I didn’t like that.

My fourth reason had to be the age gap between Gojo and the reader and lastly, I made a huge mistake when I made Gojo being to one who is manipulating the sister. So instead of deleting the story, I kept it and rewrote an entirely different story, correcting the mistakes that I’ve made and that story is now called, Loving you is my Obsession. 

The age gap is the first thing that I’ve addressed. The reader is 11 and Gojo is 17. And there’s a reason for that. I wanted her to be that young because it would give Gojo more reasons to want to be in her presence, protect her innocence and so on. This age gap actually ties into Gojo now having a character personality/character. I gave him a backstory, a change in attitude towards women (he hates them) and so on. 

Now remember when I said that the biggest mistake that I’ve made was making Gojo be the manipulator. Well the sister is now the one manipulating Gojo. This made perfect sense to me because I would allow the reader (like you) to see a progression in Gojo’s behaviour towards his sister. It’ll allow readers to see how Gojo suddenly changed from wanting to protect and just have a healthy sibling relationship with his step sister to an unhealthy love and obsessive relationship (yandere). 

The sister being the manipulator is perfect because with her being so young, and being the only one or the only woman who is allowed to even touch Gojo give her an advantage to make it easier for him to love her and only her. So she’ll use her innocence against him to make him do things like kissing, inappropriate touching and you know the rest. She’ll use his words against him, like if you’ve read chapter two then you’ll see where she used his words against him to get him to kiss her. 

Megumi also had a big role to play in If Only He Wasn’t, If Only I Were. I made a mistake spoiling his whole character in that story, so in the new one, I fixed him. But I won’t tell you that one (lol) no spoilers. I could go on and on about the changes and the plans that I have for the new version of the story, but I won’t.

And the story originally wasn’t tilted If Only He Wasn’t, If Only I were. It was actually called: Because you are my brother, I can not love you. Before I came up with the concept of Loving You Is My Obsession, the first rewritten version of the story was called, More than Siblings (this one had Geto in the mix) but I scrapped it when I realised that I didn’t like it very much.

I did, however, suspect that Sang A was the psycho killer all along tho. My guess is that Park Jae Sang also knows that and locks her up whenever she throws a fit and tries to kill someone again. He has an election to win and can't really alow wifey to be out ending people for fun, so he basically asked Do Il to do it and ensure In Joo would be killed and Sand A under control. Once In Joo died, he could alow her to go out since she would have what she wanted and had no reason to resort to murder again. What I don't get is the fact that she has things planned out to the point nothing goes wrong and she will not be caught, but Park Jae Sang still wants to lock her up.... Are they a psycho couple? What the heck is going on???

It boggles my mind how everyone knows that racial dysphoria is the result of a racist society and yet there are people who think that gender dysphoria isn't the result of a sexist society.

When I was a child, I struggled greatly with the fact I was black. I hated it. So much so that eventually my mother snapped at me and basically told me I'm black whether I like it or not. So much so that I actively wished to be white. I was envious of the white children in my class with their gorgeous eyes and different hair colors. I felt like I fit in with them so much more than I ever did with the black kids and looking at the friend groups I formed, you'd be able to tell. I felt like black kids were much meaner than I was and white kids were more soft spoken and more relatable. I would ask kids if I could pass as half-white or light skinned and was so disappointed whenever I would receive a "no". I hated it when people pointed out that I was black because it felt like something I desperately wanted to hide but couldn't no matter what. All my favorite characters were white. All the people I looked up to where white. It was never ending.

Reading this you're probably thinking that this is the result of shitty media representation and stereotypes and racism. You're probably not thinking "oh, that's a clear sign that you were meant to be born white!". Nope, you're probably thinking that my feelings were the result of the terrible way that society treats black people.

Now here's the real kicker: I didn't just want to be white, I specifically wanted to be a white boy. I loved the way boys were effortlessly masculine and athletic. They could build muscle easier and had the perfect physique in my eyes--completely flat, short hair, and more defined muscle. It made me uncomfortable to be viewed as a girl. I didn't like the way my dad made me cover up whenever I went somewhere and didn't do the same for my brother. I didn't like the way my breasts were something I had to be aware of and hide. I didn't like how my body grew. Didn't like getting my period and having to deal with it. I wanted everything my male counterparts had: the deep voice, the masculine clothes, no breasts, attention from girls, I even wanted an Adam's apple at one point. I would get so happy whenever people thought I was a boy. For a while, I was that girl who only hung out with boys because I related to them more.

Looking back on it, this was a the result of shitty media representation and stereotypes and sexism. There was no representation of the type of woman I wanted to be on TV. There's the stereotype that all women are interested in feminine activities and presentation. The aforementioned are a result of sexism. It was also because I was a masculine lesbian and I don't need to explain that our society is homophobic--especially towards gnc gay people and ESPECIALLY towards butch lesbians.

And yet there are some people who think that this means I must be a man. I must've been born wrong. They don't think that this is the result of a sexist and homophobic society even though I was born a woman in the same way I was born black. Where is the logic in this?

I don't think you guys realize just how far perverts are willing to go. In fact, I'd argue that you have to be a certain level of dedicated to be considered a pervert and not just a creep or weirdo.

People will go through years of schooling to become a teacher or a doctor or a gyno just to put it all on the line in order to fuck around with their students or their patients.

An expensive ass education and years of their time just to lose all of it because they're perverse. I'm being kind here though because a lot of them don't just randomly decide to put their career on the line, oh no, some of these people choose to enter a field because of their perversion. They're so dedicated to imposing their evil on others that they'll choose a field that brings them closer to doing just that.

Switching gears to a different but related example:

It's well known that abusers in a relationship will often not show their true colors until their victim believes they're secure and that security is often marriage. Do you know how much you have to dedicate to a relationship in order to get someone to marry you? Do you know how expensive a wedding is? All of that dedication and money just so they can have a victim that can't easily leave their grasp.

Time and money is NOT a factor for truly evil people, y'all just give too much benefit of the doubt.

I’m sorry you went through that. Honestly I’ve been through it with someone I thought was close, but later realizing she never had her own self identity, but always made me feel awful about myself or always seemed annoyed with me, but I stayed because I did actually care about her. It sucks when someone else doesn’t treat or care about you the same way. And sometimes everything happens for a reason, now I am glad she never reached out, I am better without her. It does take time to heal. Hope you feel better. ❤️

Idk if I should be bringing this up, I was logging in since I had this itching feeling as this needs to be addressed in my opinion.

Not because oh was so good looking before, bleh everyone is beautiful, it just depends on how you show it, where I feel as if Zac seemed to not ever have a problem with his face more his body, this just goes to show you, we never know what is going on in someone’s head. I truthfully believe that the new V, didn’t really like him, since she was with him before and after (saw a pic with her after he had this done on YouTube) to be honest, I feel a genuine and caring individual would had not talked him out of it, just told him and reminded him he didn’t need it. I don’t know I wasn’t involved 😩 (one could only dream, for him I mean 😂) it just seems a person who doesn’t need to seem afraid of losing someone would have said, hey no you are perfect the way you are, fuck what anyone else thinks, botching your face, isn’t going to fix in the inner wounds. I do hope Zac does find inner peace with his self esteem, I mean we all do have inner demons telling us we’re not good enough, I could only imagine with him. I don’t know I always felt something different with Zac. But to make it even, Brad Pitt has also had work done to his face, it’s just unfortunate, even the most loved people in the world, don’t feel good enough.

And the truth is, yes people have every right to get work done, but it doesn’t mean they should, because it’s in a way of conforming to what society believes what “true beauty” is or I should say “naturally beautiful”. I just think this puts a target on your back, for people who don’t have good intentions to see you have flaws and use them against you to get what they want. Just more selfish people.

I hope this doesn’t upset anyone, this are personally my thoughts.

As for Zac, I don’t have much to say but, I don’t think he did anything to his face, like work done - I mean. i could be wrong though, but I feel like he looks a lot more like himself, ever since he left the ex-girlfriend. I hope he meets someone great one day, and it must be hard being him in the industry. I feel like Zac feels a small extent of what women in the industry feel. His looks revolve around him (when he’s so much more than that, plus talented) so it must be hard on him. Seeing the negative reaction and people not letting him age.
