Jade switching dorms when he's pissed at Zuzu is actually fun to think about. Probably ends up at Ramshakle more often than not and wants to share a bed. Hmm...honestly, I feel like a lot of the guys get tired of their dorm leaders bull and would end up wanting to be at ramshackle with their fave prefect.

Ace and Deuce show up the most frequently, but this is because they just love spending time with you. They sneak out even though Trey and Cater have warned them no mercy will be shown if Riddle asks where they're getting off to. Still, they always drop by for late-night visits. Riddle is used as the excuse for nearly every visit, but it's been three consecutive nights of "Housewarden Rosehearts is being a royal pain in the ass," and you're beginning to suspect that Ace and Deuce just want sleepovers with you because when isn't Riddle being difficult? ^^;;;;

Sometimes Ruggie stops by if it's on his way or convenient. It's not that he's so tired of Leona; he's used to the grind and how it runs him ragged, but it is nice to have a secondary place to rest at when he's bone-weary and doesn't want to deal with piles of Leona's laundry or other things the minute he steps into Savanaclaw. Ruggie loves visiting Ramshackle because he knows you'll always offer to feed him and he never turns down your generous offer. The quickest way to one hyena's heart is through food and kindness. Ruggie swears that second one isn't true, but it's obvious he softens when you tell him to take care of himself. He's in love. <3

Floyd doesn't need a consistent reason to visit. He visits because he wants to or because Azul's annoying or because he had an argument with Jade or because he wants to kick back and relax after basketball practice. You should be used to his spontaneous visits by now. Jade is also prone to the odd visit every now and then. He loves your hospitality (you slammed the door in his face the first time he showed up) and so now he brings peace offerings: a (mushroom) dish he cooked for you or leftovers from the lounge.

Jamil would absolutely visit you. The only issue? Kalim makes that impossible, especially when Jamil's running himself insane trying to make sure Kalim isn't going to cause trouble for himself or others with his spontaneity. T_T and if Kalim suspects Jamil wants to visit you, he'll invite himself along. So if Jamil really wants to see you he has to sneak out of the dorm. But this has its own benefits because the night is calm and cool, and so maybe Jamil can indulge a little. He's not tired and neither are you, so a magic carpet ride sounds perfect, doesn't it? :D it'll be a secret between the both of you.

Epel is going to visit you if it's the last thing he does! >:( even if this earns him scoldings from Vil about how he's "ruining his sleep schedule" and will "look like death if he isn't well-rested," he's still going to make it his mission to see you. Sometimes he bumps into Rook when he's sneaking out and the two of them agree to visit Ramshackle together so long as neither tells Vil lol. You're definitely in for a surprise when Epel shows up at your doorstep with Rook in tow. A little late-night excursion never hurt anyone, right? :)

No one could ever get tired of Malleus. <3 then again, most are too afraid to even feel or think that way. ;;;; it's mostly Malleus himself who visits you. He's the number one frequent Ramshackle visitor. At this point, you should just consider him an honorary member with how often he appears to spend time with you. You've told him before he's always welcome, and after that he began to show up even more than before. Sometimes Lilia visits you, which always startles you, but then it's perfectly on par with his penchant for surprises. Sometimes he just stops by for tea or to float aimlessly about while he tells you all about how "tickled pink" Malleus was when you invited him to play cards with you, Grim, and the ghosts. You think it's endearing and so sweet to know that Malleus appreciates these little gestures of friendship. It's not much, but then it's more than enough to him.

So we left off on Beel, Dong-hyung and MC making it back to the palace after walking through Avisos. MC is very much still drunk asf.

But our cute bby did it!! He carried MC all the way back and Beel is impressed so-

So Beel pulled down DonBear's pants lmao and left a tattoo on his booty that says 'cute' lol So now we know how Beel 'tattoos' he uses magic to do it. (kinda reminds me of that Misfits episode...)

And here this is how I realize that getting a tattoo from Beel is the highest honor. Also we do know DonBear is of age because he was at the bar in the first place, but perhaps he just didn't earn the piercing just yet because there are a lot of citizens of Avisos to go through...I'm sure some of them don't have a piercing yet.

Awh that would be cute, imagine DonBear being the future king of Gluttony? (Though I wonder if Bael would be like...uh maybe let's not say that even though he needs a damn break lol)

Even when MC went back to Gehenna he was still poking around wondering when he'd see them again T^T and he crafted the booty chocolates in the idea of MC's butt that's just amazing to me. (also he's an ass guy confirmed then)

Lol I bet you he won't even remember or care about this once he gets the shot. No accountability will still eat any gift anyone gives MC in the future no matter what. Episode One: No Man's Land

He's so fluffy. <3

Man, the fact that Vash ran out to greet all those people by name and he's not even a minute into it when the ships begin to explode is really everything about him you need to know. The first time we see his face and it's after he's been thrown off his feet as cascading destruction is unleashed around him. The face that crashed a thousand ships? Vash of Troy? My poor sweet boy.

Young children can sometimes have trouble with cause and effect, assuming events relate more to their own actions than they really do and blaming themselves. So Vash asking Rem if the sleepers will be okay... There's simply no time to explain he isn't responsible. All the dominos are being set up in Vash's little head. Nai is the one to knock them down.

And then Rem and Nai wearing identical expressions. It's not surprising that even after her death she's his most enduring ideological opponent. Every time I watch it's just more obvious how enormous the effect she had on Nai was, and how he hates it. (By the way, I keep hearing that Rem told Nai to protect Vash - but as far as I can tell that's a conclusion Nai came to on his own without Rem's intervention? Rem said she'd protect the twins herself and didn't anticipate the crash. Did I miss something?)

I've talked extensively about this part, but to recap: feelings. And look, Rem's got purple eyes! Apart from the colour motif (purple = red + blue, so it represents the unity of humanity and the Plants that was her dream) she would have had to get gene-modded for them, which is a fun detail. Rem, of all people, was a little bit vain. I dunno, I find that endearing.

"Real people don't look like that./Real people aren't such caricatures." More of Orange's composition choices making me foam at the mouth.

We don't know how long Vash has been dangling there, but I doubt it was less time than it would take for a human to die of deprivation or exposure. I really don't think Vash actually needs to eat or drink, nor does he hate being a Plant - it's himself that he hates, as a person. If anything Knives is the one in denial that he's just as human? I don't know.

Anyway personally I like to think that the reporters really are caught up in all this nonsense by sheer happenstance. No one's pulling their strings; they're out to write a meaningless gossip piece and Meryl is taking it too seriously. It's worth noting that focused pursuit of the "dangerous fugitive" (read: Vash) is apparently pretty recent, not to mention unusual.

...I'm guessing my girl doesn't play a lot of poker. Meryl's faces. <3

I've said it before, but the show doesn't cheat. Roberto doesn't pull his conclusions out of his ass; he tallies up incongruities and puts them together into insights. He's obviously experienced, but I think of Sam Vimes, a recovering alcoholic, complaining there aren't meetings you can attend for being a suspicious bastard. Roberto drinks because, too often, his suspicions have been proven right. (I suspect Roberto also suffers from a state of being naturally knurd i.e. he's short of sobriety in the opposite direction to being drunk, and has to down a few before he's on par with the rest of us. But I also think his tolerance is good and he plays up drunken mannerisms when it suits him.)

Huh, the man looks good in a tie. I wonder how recent that photo is.

Anyway, Roberto sees Vash's big honkin' gun, but Vash insists he's "not a fighter". He notes aloud that Vash doesn't look like a Plant engineer and Vash dodges explaining. Then he sees this face Vash is making, and it's scared. He's sweating. This is before the MPs barge in, so it's something about the Plant he's afraid of.

Right, thinks Roberto, we'll tuck that nugget of info away, along with how that piece in his holster sure ain't no damn novelty backscratcher. And when an opportunity arises to test the insight, Roberto takes it.

Uh, never mind what I said about cheating. (Although this is an animation cheat, not a narrative one.) I love that they didn't even pretend like he was maybe hiding it somewhere. Also hilarious, though more darkly so, is the complaint that this turn is "bad writing" because the captain was professional, as if he didn't beat the shit out of a suspect in the process of surrendering, stick his gun in random faces, and agree to a duel with deadly weapons against a bounty head he's meant to bring in alive because some random drunk asshole made slightly mean comments.

("Are you are a man, or a yellow-bellied baby who needs his mommy?" Background info implies the captain has reason to be sensitive about the accusation he's hiding behind his parents. I wonder if the dub writers knew?)

Meanwhile Vash is unwilling to fight until his opponent does something absolutely batshit that imperils everyone around him. He's also bizarrely calm about a cluster of missiles being launched and heading right for him. Roberto's right that he isn't afraid of the MPs.

"A fight should be a show!/We've got an audience, we might as well give them a show!" <- Orange says you're goddamn right about that, crazy captain dude. And it's exactly what they did.

Dweeb. <3 He probably left his ammo behind in his bag on purpose, but didn't expect the captain to do something so recklessly violent and suddenly realised he hasn't had time to restock any of his aces in the hole. Nevertheless, I suspect he's still playing up how hard he's freaking out here. The helpless and pathetic act is very much an act; it's only when he's faced with Knives that it isn't.

It's so sweet that Rosa knows him well enough to have faith he'd pull it off with a single bullet. She put a lot of trust in him. I like to think she kept a stock on hand. She also meant it when she said "a friend of Vash's is a friend of mine," so Meryl makes the throw. And she makes it good. Which all helps what's coming to be more devastating, naturally.

LOL at how clearly this is an animation/particle flex, but it's celebratory too, like fireworks on opening night. Over a decade since Vash did his thing on our screens. Here he is returning with a bang!

Wow, I somehow completely and utterly failed to realise Meryl and Roberto's conversation with Vash about Knives takes place the next day until this time around. Of course they would have had to wait until the captain was conscious enough to ride out of town. All the details I pick up and "the sun is setting" or maybe "unconscious people can't ride birds" missed me entirely. What I'm saying is that I'm very smart.

Hi Zazie!

I don't expect an answer to this question, but I have to wonder. Did Zazie wait to report to Knives until now to be absolutely certain it was Vash after seeing him draw that exact gun and do something impossible? Or does Zazie have some awareness of the fourth wall, knew when they'd cut away to show Knives, and acted so as to achieve a "speak of the devil" effect when Vash finally mentioned his full name?

Regardless, I really like the dub, but it's a shame they couldn't keep the ambiguity of whether Knives is talking about Vash or the red Plant when he says he'll rescue [someone] from the "parasites".

I do like the impression he's talking to the Plant husks (even if it's probably really Zazie he's talking to). My man's always open to constructive criticism when his interlocuter isn't capable of making any.

CAN'T STAY MAD AT YOU

I winced, shakily pressing my hand to my stomach, drawing it away and spotting lots of blood coating it. I'd barely escaped that Type 2 who was angry after a murder, and I'd only realised when I found a note that helped me piece two and two together.

Times like this I wished I brought someone along with me.

Finding purchase on the bedframe, I pulled myself up all at once to avoid too much pain, almost collapsing again due to the rippling lightning strikes flashing through my body.

I lumbered my way to a spare first aid kit, messily wrapping a bandage around my midsection, wondering how I was ever going to make it home.

"Need a hand, Leigh?" My best friend Artemis was at the door in her usual office clothes, gaping when she saw my state. "Bloody hell- I need to get you to Portland Row. For God's sake, were you doing a solo mission?" Helping me up, I used her as support as we hobbled towards her Rolls.

"I didn't want to trouble the others. We were all exhausted after wraith hunting and the pay was good-"

"Enough to risk your life?" She snapped, helping me into the car and telling her driver, Marco, to take us to Portland Row. "I admire your tenacity, Leighton, but this isn't the time to use it."

"I was misinformed."

"Still!" She retorted. "You're lucky I arrived on the scene in time. I happened to be in the area and the neighbours were yabbering on about a girl who'd caused a loud crash doing a ghost removal. I checked in and look what I found. I can't protect you from those three in that house, so you're on your own from the moment you walk through that door." She got me out of the car and up the front steps, and I leaned heavily against the rails on either side as I rung the doorbell, also noticing her drive off. It unlocked, so I turned the handle and hobbled in as subtly as I could, trying to ignore the stabbing pain that was riddling my thoughts. But they cleared when I saw who was waiting for me.

I'm done.

"Where have you been?!" Anthony Lockwood snapped. "Bed empty, no note, gear gone! You could've died, you could've- oh bloody hell!" I nearly collapsed, but he ran forward and caught me in time, perfectly catching my muffled cry. He saw the blood leaking through, slowly peeling off my shirt to witness the deep cut soaking the bandage that I'd used as a stand in.

"I... um... got hurt."

"Clearly, Leigh!"

"Artemis managed to find me, though. She brought me back here."

"She was God's gift, because you're losing blood. I may have to call DEPRAC." He pulled out his first aid kit, the rubbing alcohol and cloth ready. "This will hurt."

As soon as the stinging liquid touched my skin, I let out a painful groan, clenching my fists so hard I think I might've left permanent marks on my palms. It felt like fire, poison and pain but it felt like it was the universal treatment to anything. I just wanted it over and done with.

"What were you thinking- going on a solo mission this dangerous; you should know better! You scared the bloody life out of me!"

"I was also scared! Don't you think that in this life or death situation I was scared for my life?!" We stopped arguing, Lockwood's Adam's apple bobbing up and down.

"I just... I don't want to lose you too." Sighing, I remembered the trauma he'd gone through by losing his parents as a child. I cupped his cheek, softly running my thumb across the smooth skin of his cheek, the dark circles gracing them even more pronounced in the dim lighting.

"You'll never lose me. I'm Leighton bloody Prescott. No way I'm leaving this world unless I'm bringing down a bad guy with me."

"I can't stay mad at you, Leigh." He grinned that gigawatt grin again, melting my heart and soul.

"Exactly. You love me."

"Too much so, I'm afraid." I blinked in surprise. Was this the love confession I'd been dreaming of?

"W-What?"

"I know this isn't a good time, but I love you, Leigh. I always have."

"This is the most perfect time, because I love you too, Anthony." I leaned in, kissing him softly and feeling the pain go away a little, until he deepened the kiss.

"Ow, gigantic cut "

"Oh, right, sorry."

You love nights like this. Nights where you can just relax with your fiance watching a movie about a nerd, a redneck, and two runaways bashing the heads of zombies.

Coming back from getting the popcorn, you plopped yourself on Yeosang's lap which he welcomed by wrapping his arms around your waist and snuggling his head on the slope of your neck. "Baby, I want," he said, looking up at your with big eyes that truly made him resemble a maltese. You squealed and smooch his cheeks from how adorable he looked, "You're so damn adorable honey, i'll give you anything!" Though you both had been dating for quite some times, Yeosang still couldn't suppress the blush and stupid grin on his face because he loved the way you made his heart skip a beat.

So you both settled on the couch, comfortably watching the movie while you eat and feed him popcorn one by one. Yeosang isn't really a touchy person but he was broken down by having VERY touchy friends. Or so you heard from Wooyoung, the man who claimed to have desensitized Yeosang to sudden affection. You honestly didn't know if you should thank or be afraid of him because he had such a strong grip and presence in Yeosang's life. You didn't hate it though because he took you in as well, happily welcoming you into their little brotherhood because as he said, "it's bros before hoes so thank god you eat like a caveman" which didn't bode well for him because you immediately shove him off the couch. Despite everything though, you genuinely do love him. And San. San was the other person who can't seem to stop loving Yeosang other than you. While Wooyoung is more mindlessly touchy, San seem to adore Yeosang a lot which concerned you at first until San started pinching and squeezing your cheeks while cooing whenever he found you munching on snacks. Although, ever since you got serious with Yeosang, San seemed to prefer you more than him much to your boyfriend's dismay. Not because he wanted San's affection, but because he wanted to be the only one able to touch you and coddle you.

"Hey, have we decided on the centerpiece for our wedding?" Yeosang asked, taking his eyes off the tv momentarily to look at you. You pursed your lips and nodded, looking rather unsure of yourself which Yeosang could easily see. His grip on you tightened and he pulled you in deeper into his embrace, "Hey, what's wrong? Talk to me," he said gently, causing you to sigh and let him in on your thoughts, "I just think this wedding is getting bigger and bigger and you know we planned for a small, intimate wedding. So I'm really annoyed that my mom is inviting her friends and distant relatives. Like, I know we're gonna get presents from them but I really don't know them well enough to share our intimate moment," you grumbled. Yeosang nodded along as you finished your thoughts, understanding where you were coming from easily. "Well... We can make cuts on the guest list and tell them it's RSVP only and that the venue won't let us invite more than a certain number of people. That way you won't get in trouble with your mom and we can still have our intimate wedding," he suggested.

Hearing him being so understanding to you and helping you solve an issue your friends deemed "measly" made your heart flutter. You couldn't help but cup his face and land a soft kiss on his lips. "What would I do without you, my love?" You said which made him chuckle and duck his head in embarrassment. "Can't do anything without you either, baby," he confessed shyly. He cleared his throat before looking up at you again determinedly, "First thing tomorrow, I'm gonna help you trim the fat off our wedding so it'll be just about us, okay?"

"Do what you have to as long as my parents stay. They already RSVP-ed and they're so damn excited for it."

The voice from the other end of the couch snapped you both from your little love bubble and you couldn't help but squint your eyes at the man who was casually eating chips while watching the movie on tv. You genuinely forgot that he was even there in the first place.

"Wait, you invited your parents to OUR wedding?" You asked in disbelief. Wooyoung turned his head to you at your question with furrowed eyebrows, "Yes? I'm inviting my parents to OUR wedding?" He answered as-a-matter-of-factly. Even Yeosang was staring at his friend in confusion, "You do know that this is my and (y/n)'s wedding right? We're the ones getting married here, not ALL of us," he explained, finding it ridiculous that he even had to state it as if it wasn't clear. But Wooyoung laughed at him heartily, even cackling before he toss his bag of chips on the coffee table as he shook his head, "Oh, that's cute and funny, Yeosang. Talk to me again when you make more sense," he said before standing up and rounding the couch to the direction of the kitchen. YOUR kitchen.

Once he was out of earshot, Yeosang groaned and threw his head back to the headrest of the couch. "He's kidding, right?" You asked, waiting for Yeosang to tell you that no, his best friend does not genuinely think that they're such a packaged deal that they might as well be a siamese twin. But Yeosang shook his head much to your dismay, causing your shoulder to drop slightly. "Someone else need to adopt him, Yeosang. I can't have a 24 year old baby by the time we say 'i do'," you said, pouting at your soon-to-be-husband. Yeosang lifted his head slightly to look at you with eyebrows knitted together, "You really think he'd just let people adopt him? We tried leaving him at costco, he came back, (y/n)," "Well what about like a fire station? We can just drop him off there and don't they legally have to take him in no question?"

"Drop what off?" Again, both you and Yeosang were surprised by a voice that just popped out of nowhere and when you looked to the side, you saw San with a blanket around his body and over his head like a hood, looking at you and Yeosang. "Did you guys started movie night without me?" He pouted. Confused, Yeosang blinked at his friend, still not believing what he was seeing, "What are you doing here, San? Shouldn't you be in your own apartment?" He scowled. Before San could answer, Wooyoung came back and plop himself on his previous position, "I invited him here, I told him we have cake," he shrugged. Still confused, Yeosang looked at you then, "We have cake?" A question you replied with a smack on his arm because he was missing the point, "Are we not gonna deal with the fact that one of your other best friend has been here," "Napping in the guest room," San interjected before you continued, "And he was lured with cake by someone who don't even live here?" Wooyoung scoffed at your words and used his foot to kick your leg lightly, "If I don't live here, then why are you doing my laundry?" And that got you to detach yourself from your fiance, "Whoah, who said I'm doing your laundry?" Wooyoung raised an eyebrow and pointed at the laundry basket near the kitchen, "Some of those are mine," he stated simply. Whilst in a baffled state, Yeosang took the moment to get you off of him and jogged to the kitchen, "What cake do we have?" He asked. San trodded to the couch, taking Yeosang's previous spot as he answered his friend, "There's tripple chocolate and yellow cake with whipped cream and berries compote. If you see a pudding cup, that's mine," he said as he made himself comfortable.

You paused for a moment, trying to remember some things before turning to look at San who was happy as a clam in his fluffy coccoon, "Wait, are you talking about the sample cake from my cake testing?" Of course, San innocently nodded, "Yeah and I called the caterer and told her I like the chocolate one, and then she told me to remind you that you need to approve the appetizers within this week so I told her she can't go wrong with pigs in a blanket," he grinned. Wooyoung scoffed at him with a roll of his eyes, "Oh give me a break, the clear choice is the berry compote cake! And pigs in a blanket? What are you, five? You and your damn unrefined taste buds." Yeosang suddenly called out for you from the kitchen, "Honey, do you want some cake too?"

In all honesty, you were still frozen in spot, not knowing which issue to deal first; the squatter, the kidnapee, or the man who seemed to be more interested in cake. So when Yeosang came back with a plate of cake in his hands, you can only stare at him in disbelief. Thankfully, San saw you not being responsive and he nudged your shoulder with his head, making you turn to him again. He opened up his blanket and grinned at you widely, "Wanna get comfy?" He asked. Relenting, you sighed and shrugged, "Why not?" And you let San pull you down to lean your body on him and let your legs drape over your future husband's lap and his friends' as you were envelopped by the warmth of the blanket. As you got comfortable, you could feel Wooyoung gently massaging your legs and it almost immediately made you forgot the crap he pulled.

Even with the movie playing, the conversation kept on going between the men about the cake and the food for the ceremony. You weren't talking, just paying attention to their opinions or combating opinions, disproving one another with their arguments. Over wedding stuff. YOUR wedding stuff. Granted, your future husband is in the conversation, but it was clear that Wooyoung and San were dominating. It never really occurred to you that marrying Yeosang means that you're marrying his best friends too. Until now.

Ooh, could I ask for some Pet AU (mixed with ABO “everybody is an Omega” AU) headcanons with the Sakamaki brothers getting purchased as a bed-warmer type for a powerful & rich Alpha?

The boys expect to be treated badly, “used” immediately, and then thrown away, but the Alpha gives them their own private room and various items the Alpha somehow knows they favor and tells them that “Even if the boys are who Readers going to take to bed whenever he’s in rut, Reader isn’t going to be cruel to them, and will treat them like he would if they were Readers actual mate.” and “That they are free to ask for anything they want/need, with their only obligations being attending dinner with Reader once a week and spending time with Reader during his rut to satisfy Readers instincts” (And reader means that in a perfectly pure way, as they later learn when Reader calmly reads a book with them while he has their head resting innocently on his lap, perfectly satisfied)

Shuu

He's absolutely expecting the worst, whatever that may mean. Shuu does not have high hopes for how he'll be treated in this home, but it's not like there's anything he can do about it. Thus, it's better to just keep his mouth shut and try not to make trouble for himself. It definitely comes as a surprise when you treat him so gently, though— he has no idea how to respond, especially when you have no intentions of using him in that way. There's nothing to do but accept it, though, so he doesn't resist the kindness.

Reiji

Despite the unfortunate nature of this placement, Reiji is determined to do his best to be exceptional, as always. He's internally terrified of what might be done to him, but that's nothing that he has a right to complain about. It's a terrible shock when you don't go along with what he was expecting, though, and it ruins all of his carefully laid plans for how to gain your favor. And yet, at the same time that he's beyond confused, he can't help but be relieved that you won't be treating him as he'd anticipated.

Ayato

He's beyond excited to finally have a home... but what he thinks is going to happen with you is more than a little intimidating. While he remains eager to please, Ayato is also highly nervous around you. Or at least, right up until he realizes that you're being nice. At that point, he doesn't know what to think at all. Everything he's been told says that you should be using him however you see fit, but instead, he's just getting... spoiled? It's way too strange, but he's still desperately grateful for the much-needed attention.

Kanato

With his looks and dynamic, Kanato expects to have exactly one purpose with you. And he's terrified of that. As much as he wants to have a home, he also doesn't want to be hurt— and he's expecting the worst. When all you do is coddle him, though, he doesn't know how to respond. This isn't what should be happening, but he's so starved for the kindness that it's hard to remember that he needs to stay on his guard. In the end, he gets attached to you much too quickly and trusts much too easily.

Laito

He has a very clear idea of what he's good for, by now, and expects things to be no different with you. Laito doesn't hesitate to come onto you. In his mind, it's better to get used to what you'll be doing to him quickly... except, you don't do anything he's expecting. In a lot of ways, the kindness makes him uncomfortable. It's not right at all, and there's no way he can trust that the bizarre behavior will last. And yet, a part of him is still so very desperate for this rare, foreign kindness you're offering.

Subaru

He's expecting the worst when someone like you purchases him and has resigned himself to trying his very best not to cause any problems because of it. When you first get him, Subaru is horribly tense around you. He's afraid of lashing out or doing something wrong, or worse, what you could do to him— but instead of any of that, you're just nice. At the same time that he's uncomfortable with it all, there's relief in not being used like he expected, and he soon finds himself a lot more attached than he wants to be.

Kino

Knowing his history of getting on people's nerves, Kino is fully anticipating doing something wrong enough to have serious problems. He knows exactly why you bought him, too... except, you're not doing anything that would go along with that purpose. In the end, he's just terribly confused. It's not bad to be treated like this, but there has to be something else coming, right? There's no way you can really just be this nice to him, not when the context says that you should only be using him as yours.

this ask was sent so long ago before the brazilians even showed up so sorry for how late this is but I will come up with answers now!!

chayanne, bobby, dapper, and leo are all in the same year at school. meanwhile, tallulah, tilin, juanaflippa, ramon, trump are in the year below them. (juanaflippa was actually supposed to be in the same year as the older kids, but because of how sick she's been in the past she missed a lot of school and ended up having to repeat a year). and richarlyson is in the year below those guys so he's the youngest.

chayanne and bobby are insanely competitive with each other. chayanne is at the top of the class with grades, he always does the best in PE, and he he's super involved in a ton of extracurriculars like sports. bobby is much more of a little shit who will go out of his way to cause trouble, but he also gets perfect grades and always does really well in PE so he and chayanne have a bit of a rivalry going on. also this isn't to say chayanne isn't a little shit. he definitely is. but where bobby would put a pie on someone's chair so they would sit on it as a prank, chayanne would just throw the pie directly in their face. he's more direct basically

dapper also does really well in school and gets along well with the other kids, but he's the kind of kid that almost prefers talking to adults. that's probably because of how close he and bad are, with bad being a single parent who usually just handles things himself, so dapper always comes with if he's going to a dinner party or something even if other kids won't be there. also, he loves knowing all the adult gossip (kid friendly version) from his dad.

although leo doesn't get perfect grades like chayanne and bobby, she can give those two a run for their money in PE. she's not afraid to get down and dirty. also tbh I haven't watched a ton of streams with leo in them, but she has the energy of a kid that would make 'potions' out of dirt and worms. feel free to correct me if i'm wrong but that's just a vibe.

as i said in a previous ask, tallulah transferred in mid year and became friends with tilin, who then introduced her to juanaflippa at lunch since she's in a different class than the other two girls. tallulah is a very sweet girl who tried to be nice to everyone she meets. she sometimes gets in trouble for trying to play her flute in class though because it distracts the other kids :( also like dapper tallulah is really good at talking to adults bc of how much she and wilbur moved around when she was younger, but she doesn't necessarily prefer talking to adults like dapper sometimes does.

juanaflippa gets sick a lot. like, a lot a lot. she's got a ton of allergies and has had to miss a lot of school in the past, and it definitely doesn't help that charlie and mariana are a young couple who were definitely not ready for a kid let alone a kid that regularly has to go to the hospital. but they're working things out! also juanaflippa is a kid who very much doesn't realize how abnormal her home life is. she learned how to shoot a bb gun when she was 5 bc charlie thought it'd look sick, and now she's a crack shot. she knows the passcodes to both charlie and mariana's phones bc they both privately asked her if she could figure out the code by watching it get put in so they could look through each other's phones—and no, she hasn't said anything about them both doing this to either of them. she's convinced satan once visited her bedroom at night and they just chatted. while mariana reasons that it was a nightmare charlie also had the same nightmare so he's not so sure.

richarlyson does not realize it's not common to have 5 dads until he starts talking to the other kids at his school. he got really confused when juanaflippa was talking about how mad her dads got at each other bc they were accusing the other of cheating bc he didn't know about monogamy. he's a rambunctious kid who definitely takes some risks he shouldn't (which is probably bc of how chaotic some of his dads are) which is how he ends up breaking his leg within his first week at the school. also he's slowly gaining a love for puzzles bc he likes to stay up late and watch his dad cellbit decode stuff at his computer. oh, and forever has convinced richarlyson he's a werewolf. there's literally no reason for this forever just thought it would be funny but the bit has gone on for too long now and he's not sure how to explain to his kid that it's not true. he's just hoping that richarlyson eventually realizes werewolves aren't real on his own.

Sano & Haru:Meddling Melding

PART 2PART PART2 PART 2-

So...here's part 2. Somehow all my major moments I found could be perfectly sectioned off into 3 parts

The return of mii-kun!

Past Sano saves Haru, showing that even when not around Haru physically he still is looking out for haru.

And this is very different from what their relationship was earlier. Before I wouldn't believe Sano trying to help or save Haru because he truly wants to see him safe (maybe to not get into trouble or because Mame wants to help him).

He is the FIRST one Haru calls for help (both times!) and also the one who organizes rescuing him. Sano is the first one to get to him, the one to grab, and even lightly insults him. Sano is so afraid and worried for our pathetic boy!

☆Chapter 43｡.｡:+* ﾟ゜ﾟ *+:｡.｡:+* ﾟ゜ﾟ *+:｡.｡.｡:+*ﾟ

Ah yes...the chapter that has my "shoujo moment".

This scene is probably my favorite scene of them in the whole manga.

The way Sano sees himself as an outcast from the others (and probably now the other gods) and looks like he trying not to crumble in front of his teacher. How haru reassures him of who he is, that he is apart of their class, their makeshift family. How haru offers a shoulder to lean on while not pushing sano to tell him more info than he's comfortable with. Sano smiling (and not trying to pretend it didn't happen!) at Haru. You can tell how at ease and relieved Sano is when he's with Haru (and admits it!). How they both trust each other with their secrets and understand that when the other will tell the rest of the class is something only they can decide on.

I love this scene (this was also the scene that made me realize that this manga was going to a part of my "manga I've read and will keep up to date cause I actually like it" list...I read a lot of random manga for the sake of read manga so that's a HIGH honor!)

☆Chapter 52｡.｡:+* ﾟ゜ﾟ *+:｡.｡:+* ﾟ゜ﾟ *+:｡.｡.｡:+*ﾟ

I know that this chapter isn't that remarkable but this is my post and i get to decide what dumb little moments we focus on!

To be honest ever since I first read this chapter, I haven't really understood the root of Sano's emotions here (and trust me I know this is a me problem, please someone else explain this chapter also) BUT I WILL TRY!

Sano is a bit jealous of haru intruding at first. And that seems to play a part of his overall frustrations, but i think it mainly lies with two more reasons why.

1-Haru is getting treated like a dangerous madman by the other teacher. He is annoyed at this and from the context of the previous chapters it probably is because he, and many others, don't. Class 2-3 treats Haru generally like a normal teacher, maybe a bit more (a lot more actually) familiar than most people would but still! Sano also knows and has spent so much one on one time with Haru that he understand that any worries are not really valid. He knows who haru is and he decided that to him he isn't a bad guy. He knows how much Haru wants to be treated normal and not like an outcast. He, even up to chapter more current chapters I say, knows the most about Haru. Not even just about his past, the seimei situation, but also about stuff that only applies to Haru.

(and in the next chapter I talk about, he actually shows that he doesn't like people thinking bad about Haru when they don't even get to know him. Very "if you're gonna dislike Haru at least dislike him for real reasons and not because iof misunderstandings cause you didn't try to understand him")

And 2- He seems upset at the effect that Haru has over him. Haru has this aura that makes Sano feel so relaxed around him that has been growing along side their relationship. The manga really shows that when Sano opens up to Haru he acts more like a regular goofy awkward teen and less like a cool guy that only gets involved when he has to, something he most likely pick up after transferring to our favorite little youkai school.

He is annoyed by this (maybe because he doesn't have the same effect to Haru?). Annoyed that Haru just so purely cares about him being his best. That Haru can do this so effortlessly and genuinely it effects him. That it reminds him of what his brother used to be like...Or maybe he (and me) dont know why he feels this way!

For haru's part, he wants to see Sano being his best self and trying hard! He believes in him and knows that Sano can do better! And he wants to push Sano, and all his students, to succeed and be their best. If he has to compete against them or cheer them on, then he will do it!

☆Chapter 54｡.｡:+* ﾟ゜ﾟ *+:｡.｡:+* ﾟ゜ﾟ *+:｡.｡.｡:+*ﾟ

(I chose this chapter/scene instead of 53 because that moment felt more about Sano distancing himself from his brother than his relationship with Haru.)

Like I previously stated, He doesn't like when others treat Haru badly, or like an outcast, when they don't even know Haru.

When he gets to Haru, he takes charge of situation. He the one that get him to open up to why he under the desk ( DEJECTED-AKI!?!?!?! THEY HAVE A DESIGNATED NAME FOR THIS?!?!?!). He's the one who gets him out, though by force. He even kinda references to chapter 52 with how he know that Haru doesn't need to be babied. He sees Haru for what he is, an amazing teacher who works hard to all his students can achieve their goals.

And he tells this to him! Sano us now so open to Haru. Before he would go full tsundere about how he sees Haru as a great teacher, dismissing and lying about it. But now he embarrassingly tells him to his face. He throws the words that he use to comfort Sano when he was feeling down about himself back at Haru.

He see Haru as someone who doesn't need to be coddled, not because he's loser adult (ok, maybe a bit because of that), but because Sano has seen how far Haru has come and believes and knows he is also a great person.

☆Chapter 80｡.｡:+* ﾟ゜ﾟ *+:｡.｡:+* ﾟ゜ﾟ *+:｡.｡.｡:+*ﾟ

Now to end this part on a more light hearted note, Haru and Sano hugs! Haru initiates most of the hugs between the to of them, but sano has been slowly started to get more comfortable with them. First chapter to this chapter Sano has started to allow Haru to full on hug him with backlash. I just thought that it was a neat observation.

i watched ep 226 and i have some thoughts about it...

keroro being suspected for something he didn't do is often par for the course, and granted it's both because of his status as an invader and for his tendency to actually cause trouble

[pictured: some examples off the top of my head of - mostly natsumi - assuming the worst from him]

but this episode to me is fascinating because of what else it brings up in relation to it. remember red oni blue oni? keroro's conflict about... on one side, keron, on the other, pekopon... about being seen as both the villain and the hero, so his position isn't threatened, while trying not to lose his friends on both sides. he doesn't actually want to be an invader, but it's tied to a lot of shit like his self esteem and... well, stuff I talked about in the past.

I think at least subconsciously he is afraid that his precarious position may blow up in his face eventually, and that is why he's jealous of everything that threatens it by being similar enough to him/receiving enough praise that he feels he might get replaced by it. he needs his position to be exclusive, because if it isn't, he doesn't have any merits for it ("leaders don't really do anything..." "I coasted along" "what makes me great?"). it feels like this is not just a random insecurity from lack of self esteem or fear from his unstable situation on its own (as an invader/"freeloader", feeling guilty for living in their house and causing them trouble) either, but ALSO projection from the fact that canonically yeah, he IS replaceable - that is a real constant threat for him. the clones? what makes him special?

[funny how many meetings keroro does where he's actually just venting lmao, he's got his priorities all out of whack ... or rather his feelings don't matter if they can't somehow be integrated into a mission?]

[keroro processing his feelings alone like he always does. loneliness and being misunderstood r such key parts of his character.]

But I think a similar emotion is true from Fuyuki's side, who's always been a bit lonely and overshadowed, so he'd be afraid of his trust being betrayed... but nevermind that, I like seeing keroro's situation specifically explored, because...

he knows he didn't do anything wrong, but his relationship with fuyuki means more than ego. he's willing to set it aside, and besides... it's easier with the guilt he already feels due to his situation, to apologize, because fuyuki means more to him than being right... his friends mean a lot to keroro, that's why relationship trouble with them so easily throws his emotions off balance. why he has to resort to everything else (denial, acting out, projection of guilt, people-pleasing, hiding how he feels, selfishness, etc), but with fuyuki in particular, I think it feels like the one relationship he hasn't messed up yet. honestly that person who said he's a dororo parallel was SO onto something...

they both love each other, but they're not infallible, so they'll let each other down, they'll misunderstand, they'll let their own feelings and fears and past experiences get in the way. they're not technically on the same side, after all

[the field trip misunderstanding... or you could say, keroro assumed earth is like keron? that they're two sides at war?]

but at the end of the day they still love each other, they are healing for each other and for what it's worth, they saved each other...

but that's the thing to me is that, by merely existing in his life, I think keroro feels like he's being a weight to him. that he's doing something wrong, that it's selfish of him to want to stay. that he has to earn it and yes, that he's not needed (AKA REPLACEABLE...).

trust is something that has to be built in a friendship but... due to keroro's situation... he can never fully prove himself one way or another (it would mean treason...) and in this ep I see the tragedy of that. fuyuki loves him, and generally trusts him, but it's not like keroro hasn't broken his trust in the past or gone too far, it's not like his planet and plans aren't still a danger for them, no matter how he feels about it...

Hello! I really enjoy your writing. A bit ago you answered a question about how the skeletons from Gremlins would react to MC suddenly being bitty-sized. How might they react to suddenly being full sized for a bit? Have a good day/night!

It would be the greatest moment of their lives.

They are finally not having to hop/climb/shortcut to get around.

Reader will have to forgive them as they simply walk back and forth, open cabinets, pick up objects, and walk out after opening and closing doors. They have a new perspective on things that we normally take for granted and they love it very much.

Then they will probably snicker and marvel that Reader is smaller than they are. They are very big skellies in comparison. All the papyrus forms are having to stoop and duck in certain rooms and entry ways. They aren't annoyed in the slightest.

Once it all sinks in... Reader is in trouble.

They all love the fact that Reader is now smaller and they can pretty much whisk them away.

One thing that they won't factor in and it could be a very bad one to miss... their magic has grown along with them. Things that they normally have to focus really hard on could cause things to explode nearby from that much output.

It will probably be the death of a vase that makes them all realize that it could have been Reader so they take a minute to reassess themselves.

Only problem with them being bigger... the once vastness of the house is now cramped and trying to get a single minute alone with reader is far and few between.

Blue will try to be the head bitty in a very chaotic situation, especially if Edge, Red, and Rus are in their Gremlin forms... just oddly suspicious Black isn't one inciting chaos. Yet Blue has his hands full and can contain the mayhem like he hopes he can. The rare moments he gets with Reader will be tender and heartfelt as he tries his best to soothe them. Not going to lie... he definitely will enjoy being able to actually hug them.

Stretch... is clumsy. He finds himself unable to handle this new perspective and is constantly tripping over his own feet. To afraid to use a shortcut fearing he'd end up inside a wall. Not to say he doesn't enjoy getting to be a size that he feels was meant for him. Loving that Reader is shorter than him and that he could actually bump his head in certain entryways. Feels good to be big... just not the head rush that comes from being so small to suddenly so huge. He helps Reader with an easy joke or two but his jealousy will end up causing a lot of problems for everyone.

Sans doesn't know what to do with himself and though he was in awe about his new height, and loving that Reader is smaller, he's intimidated. His anxiety has reached a different level as he tries to understand how things are as he's treated as a regular monster outside of the house... don't even get him started about being outside. He thought it was daunting being so small... but now he sees a bigger picture and the knowledge that the world was even bigger than he had imagined is frightening. He wants comfort snuggles from Reader... for once being the one needing the comfort. He's on edge and snippy... which really doesn't help with the tense air around the house.

Papyrus is elated to be so tall! He's already thinking on the other things he can do for Reader now that he's bigger. He could clean the gutters, he can do full meal prep in way less time than when he was little, and he can give you some Papyrus style hugs. Those are pretty damn good hugs. Though he does maintain his positivity... we all know what lurks underneath can be a bit dark at times. Yet he is doing what he can because he wants this. He wants to be the positive figure in Reader's life but he finds himself unable to maintain the household balance... so it causes problems.

Rus is... well... himself for the most part he just takes advantage of his size to be an even bigger flirt... though it is funny when he forgets to duck in his pursuits and nearly gets knocked unconscious from the low entryways. Black will have him "looking out" for Reader and not really caring if Rus takes that as permission to get a little fun. Though... he knows his brother can be very jealous and it doesn't sit well with him that Black sits out when some time is offered to him.

Edge is very tall. VERY TALL. His new height is very uncomfortable to him now that the wonder has fizzled out. He never thought he'd have to hunch down to be able to be in certain rooms in the house but here he is. He's torn at the thought he could be seen as prime mate material due to his big stature... to what is now his comfort. He may dare to try and get a kiss from you as a means to soothe his boo boos as he tries to navigate the now cramped living quarters. He gets a little to volatile when riled though.

Red. Absolutely loving it. This is the best thing that has ever happened. He can chill on the couch and take in the full tv screen with little problem. He becomes a couch potato and lives for the sudden drama this happy accident has created. Yeah, sure he's also got that creepy feeling that things are far more bigger than whatever he had imagined... just like Sans... but he's past that. Whatever kills you means you don't have to worry about it anymore is his philosophy. Reader will be in a big pickle when they discover how warm and surprisingly soft his enveloping weighted blanket hugs are. Papyrus' hugs fill you with elation and joy.... Red's are solely mellow and comfortable bliss. He will intentionally start trouble elsewhere in order for reader to feel like they need one of those hugs.

Everyone will be bidding for Reader's attention and now that they can be literally explosively angry... it's going to take a lot of talking to get them chill.

Save for Black... he will be oddly kept to himself and surprisingly very helpful at keeping the others calm.

This is a farce to have Reader let their guard down. He's printing a marriage certificate, becoming a legal wedding officiant, and getting himself registered as a legal monster citizen to be able to do so. He's also figuring out how this all happened so he can keep things this way... and of course keep this knowledge to himself so that the others will never be able to benefit from being big again.

All he has to do is get them, and some unknowing witnesses, to sign a paper that is "needed" and he will have his unknowing bride. He'd also like to see any divorce attorney try to separate them. His magic is practically nightmare fuel at this point.

I also imagine that Reader is so unaware of them being legally married until a situation calls for Black to be forth coming.

Like Reader looks at their license to find that it has been replaced with a new one with a new last name that Black has decided for himself. Finds mail addressed to them with their new last name... and greeting letters addressed to them and Black.

Hi not a request (sorry if it sounds like one) I was wondering An (hope it’s ok I call you that) , I’ve been rewatching Fairy tail and I was wondering who do you think would be the best and the worst for a poly relationship for sharing a darling?

I think the best would be Natsu and Lucy since there trust each other completely and get along well that and there balanced each other out with them being best friends and all (Depending how the 100 year request is going ; hopefully there tie the knot XD)

Worst poly by sharing a darling , my opinion would be Mard geer and kyouka , I don’t think the reader would ever catch a break , especially with Mard geer thin patient and Kyouka sadist ways . (I’m pretty sure Mard Geer would be pulling the shots since he did tie up Kyouka by using his curse magic🤔 just cause she upset him)

also if your looking for a show to watch or read I suggest Eden’s zero or dead rock (it’s really good so far 💗)

That's an interesting question so here are a few of my thoughts. I didn't include all options or otherwise I could have gone on for a longer while.

The best:

Natsu and Lucy: I think you nailed it already pretty well with those two, although I think the entire team (Natsu, Lucy, Erza, Gray, (platonic or not) Wendy) could work together. I do think that those two would be the best pairing since they would make the least troubles for their darling and work really well together. Both are delusional and clingy but Lucy would be the one to respect it if their darling requests privacy even if reluctantly since she knows firsthand that Natsu has a lack of respect for privacy. I also think that Natsu and Lucy would see all the time eye to eye and talk together and decide together about everything involving their darling. Obviously Erza and Gray would work with those two well too but I do think that the rivalry between Natsu and Gray can be a bit tiring, not to mention that Gray is possessive, protective and low-key paranoid about darling and their safety. Erza on the other hand, whilst highly respecting and appreciating her friends, tends to scare people when someone ruins her time with her darling or upsets them. She gets occasionally scary for silly reasons. Considering that the boys are very obviously scared of her when she gets mad, I also think there wouldn't be all the time equal footing. Wendy is a sweetheart but a bit too gullible and naive, hence why Carla is there for her.

The Strauss siblings: Mirajane, Elfman and Lisanna would definitely go well together and work well together since all three of them are very close to each other and have a lot of love for their darling to spare. Mirajane is the oldest sibling and despite her kind and sweet appearance, she is just about enough mature and strict to put a foot down which isn't bad considering that Elfman and Lisanna tend to be more, maybe a bit too, forgiving and lenient. Especially Elfman is down bad for his s/o.

Alzack and Bisca: They're literally already a married couple and very sweet to each other so a third person that they adore would fit in very much. They'd probably be really shy and timid in the beginning before getting more comfortable and affectionate with time around their s/o.

Maybe also Gajeel and Levy since I do think they balance each other out well enough. Levy is more openly tender-hearted and understanding which would help to smooth out Gajeel's possessive side and his cocky pride at times. She isn't afraid to call him out and lecture him.

Potential candidates (with some issues to work through):

Gray and Juvia: It could work but I do feel like Juvia's excessive obsession and jealous streak would cause some issues, not to mention that I can't help but feel like her extreme behavior might have a bad effect and Gray who in return would also turn slightly more unhinged. You definitely don't want an unhinged Gray.

Erza and Jellal: They're childhood friends and I don't think that Erza would ever intimidate and scare Jellal like she would do with Gray and Natsu, he can even calm her down fairly well. The main issue is mainly that Jellal has isolated himself out of vengeance and that means there would be a lot of time where darling would just spend time with Erza.

Lucy and Loke: Those two could definitely share a darling too but Loke's antics in here are a problem and less the fact that he's a Celestial Spirit since he has the ability to enter the human realm without Lucy calling upon him. He's a tad bit too mischievious.

Thunder God Tribe + Laxus: This would be so chaotic because I feel like Evergreen and Fried would be so sickenly sweet, jealous and obsessed with their darling. Bickslow is in comparison to those two the sanest one and even that doesn't have to mean much. With Laxus there would at least be a bit more control and order but who knows how long that can last. They're a very active and energetic bunch for sure with Laxus the only pillar holding them somewhat together.

Sting and Rogue are really troublesome but I do think lots of people would expect them to work really well together. They could for sure share a darling but it wouldn't be as harmonious because Sting is really possessive and whilst definitely willing to die for his s/o, also a rather controlling individual who would persuade Rogue, who feels guilty for his obsession which makes him mentally more prone to Sting's manipulation, into convincing you into following a rather strict lifestyle created by them. That may or may not include restrictions where you can go, when you can go and with whom you can go and punishment if you break those rules. Believe me, they always find out.

The worst:

Mard Geer and Kyoka: Bold of you to assume that Mard Geer would share with anyone at all. He views his darling as his property and would never share so the only reason why Kyoka wouldn't be instantly murdered is because she's a member of Tartaros and even then she'd be forbidden to ever go near his s/o. Kyoka could probably only somewhat share with Seilah and that would be the furthest thing from a healthy and happy relationship. Mard Geer is the leader though and that's probably the only reason why Kyoka wouldn't brutally torture him and hurt him for falling in love with the same person as her.

Any poly!relationship with Minerva before her change of heart would spell a catastrophe too since she'd be so sadistic, not only to her darling but also whoever dares to fall in love with her darling. She'd at best tolerate that person but only if they're strong enough to be worthy in her opinion.

I can definitely see the members of the Oración Seis (Midnight, Cobra, Angel, Racer) being at one point one of the worst to share a darling too. All of them wouldn't be too fond to share a darling to begin with, Cobra is probably the nicest one about it because he's actually interested in sincerely caring for darling's health and well-being. Midnight on the other hand is sadistic and possessive, Angel is obsessive and sadistic and Racer, whilst initially appearing to be rather chill, is not all that nice after all either. The peak worst phase would be after the timeskip in my opinion where all of them have traded something in order for greater power which makes all of them only more unhinged, possessive and to a certain degree even more desperate.

Anyway, here's our song of the day:

Chinese Satellite by Phoebe Bridgers

If you're a fan of Benedikt Montagov, and you also love being sad and making him suffer, you're going to love this one.

This, to me, is specifically related to Benedikt's character in the first chunk of Our Violent Ends. You can go ahead and just listen to the song if you'd like, but I'm putting a (sort of) line-by-line analysis below the cut for anyone who wants to enjoy this song in the precise way I do as they listen along.

(Each bit of analysis is going to be associated with the lyrics in the image above it, so you'll get a chance to read the lyrics first. There won't be analysis for every single line here, because some are just based on pure vibes. I'm only detailing the ones that I associate with specific things.)

We see a lot of this feeling in him, specifically when he's around his family. He's trying to behave as much like himself as he can, but he's so lost and so full of grief and anger at this point that it's difficult to not let it show (and he often isn't successful at hiding it).

To me, this line refers specifically to Juliette killing Marshall. Benedikt wishes it could've gone another way, even if he doesn't know how.

The first half of this section is pretty clear cut. It's frequently referenced, not only by Benedikt himself but also by other characters, than he's sort of been overtaken by numbness. A lot of the time, he just isn't feeling anything at all, and when he does feel something, it's overpowering.

As for the second half, that has a bit of a double meaning for me. Not only does it mean that he wants to be wrong about the fact that he'll never see Marshall again (even if he believes that to be impossible), but it also sort of stands for how much he misses Marshall's frequent contrarianism. They would often have small, non-serious disagreements, and as annoyed as Benedikt could get with them, it became the norm for him. There isn't anything to replace that relationship, it's simply gone.

Again, I see this part as being about how contrary Marshall frequently was. He's described to be very impulsive, and he isn't afraid to speak his mind even if it can cause trouble for him.

This lyric, to me, is about how Benedikt would be willing to do a lot of things - even things that are out of character for him - if it meant that he'd get to see Marshall again somehow.

I feel like it's somewhat clear what this bit is referring to. Benedikt still lives in the apartment that he once shared with Marshall, and even after he's gone, it's like he's still everywhere. The absence of him, in and of itself, is a reminder that he was once there.

And that's all I've got! As I said at the top of this section, there are some lyrics that I didn't specifically analyze, but that doesn't mean I don't think they fit. I just think they fit based on vibes rather than specific, citeable things. Hope you enjoyed this, if you read this far! This song makes me insane.

Zane: cause y'all really seem to like him!

Okay so as you all can probably guess Zane is pretty much my favorite character and I don't see this man getting enough love so how would you like some of my head cannons and such (reminder I've only watched through season nine + one episode of season ten)

-He's a really smart idiot like he can do extended algebra in his head, recite the entire history of Ninjago and analyze any problem with ease, but at the same time he'll forget not everyone can just do a google translate in their head and he'll casually say things like "Salt sugar same difference "

-He built in the appearance changer thing cause people (especially kids) were afraid of his really robotic look

-To go along with the last hc he only really shows what he really looks like in front of people he's really comfortable with

-He's either a really good or really bad flirt, it differs from day to day like one day he'll be like "Dang and I thought fire was hot" and the next he'll be like "You have very colorful eyes"

-He and Pixel have more of a sibling dynamic than anything else, people thought they were dating but they're both just like "Ew no that's my emotional support borhter/sister" (cause honestly in the show the last relativly romantic thing they did was in season three with the whole "comptable secen" and after that they're just kinda been buddies, like literally all hugs and fits bumps, it's honestly really sweet)

-He and Pixel dare each other on pretty much a daily basis to eat things that they really shouldn't, this ranges from small pieces of paper to literal glass, they do it purely to scare everyone else (I just learned it's Pixal btw, but I'm honestly not changing it I'm in too deep now)

-Zane often has trouble verbally displaying his emotions even when he has strong feelings about things, so most times it results in him doing something to show it whether it be stomping off, giving the silent treatment or just generally trying to display his emotions in other ways (the other ninja and co are pretty good at getting the signs)

-He has to be really cautious when freezing people because surprise surprise if you entrap someone in a full block of ice they WILL suffocate and die

-His power makes it so he can freeze or unfreeze most things so he could potentially freeze the water in someone's body, kinda like a water bender in avatar (cause honestly I feel like it would be more likely he had powers over temperatures since ice isn't really an element, but over time maybe people forgot what the power actually was, idk yo)

-He's probably stronger than your average person due to being a robot , not as strong as someone with super strength like Cole but still impressively strong

-He likes animated movies, and he's irritated by the notion they're only for kids

-He likes rock and metal music, in fact him and Cole share a lot of music taste and no one really understands how Zane likes that kind of music but they're not inclined to question it

-Lloyd has called him mom/dad on multiple occasions, he's honnored

-He never came out to anyone cause for him he just kinda existed and didn't really think much of it (for reference I'm a fan of the pan/trans hc's that I've seen around)

-He's the tallest member of the group and he's no allowed to join when they compare heights cause he towers over everyone with Nya being the closest

Zane's a plant mom, simple as that

-He has the coolest socks ever, like patterns colors you name it

-Ever since season 4 he's been terrified of loosing his memory cause it happened when he forgot his father than again in season 4 and so now he's terrified of loosing his memories again, in fact getting hit in the head or back (where his switch panel is if I'm remembering correctly) is something that stresses him out a whole bunch.

-Zane is literally the worst car driver ever, like seriously there's a reason he's always got a mech or the ship or literally anything other than a car

-He doesn't get hot or cold so it'll be the middle of the winter and he'll be wearing shorts

-Zane couldn't dance but Cole most definitely taught him

-He and Cole go on dates to museums cause Zane's a nerd and Cole's really nostalgic for it

In conclusion I think robot man deserves more love and affection and I have more head cannons for more of the characters cause this silly little ninja show has indeed become my hyper fixation.

look it's very simple.

suletta & amuro

child of a mobile suit engineer who cares more about their work than them. relative outsider to the group who shows up at the last minute but does basically all the heavy lifting in terms of fighting. self worth problems. i'm sure someone's done a more comprehensive post about these two.

miorine & sayla

extreme outsider to the group who essentially has split loyalties though they aren't quite aware of how split at first. becomes closer to the group rather than their initial loyalties because of the duo above. support role, but isn't afraid to put themselves out there in danger when the need arises, and are generally up there among the "active" members of the group despite their sheltered (if a bit fucked up) pasts.

chuchu & bright

now this is an interesting one, because bright noa is in martin's role as the actual leader of the group, so you'd think that would be the duality. however, chuchu's the de facto decision maker here. extremely protective of their subordinates but they've got quite a temper and can have their previous prejudices from the circumstances they've experienced override their logic sometimes. it's weird that witch from mercury doesn't have spaceships in focus, right?

nika & kai

team cover your ass. get the group into a lot of trouble thanks to their generally having the backbone of a chocolate eclair, but aren't really malicious or Extraordinarily cowardly, just enough to cause people trouble. surprisingly good at their jobs despite this. sold out the group, had second thoughts about it, ended up suffering more themselves as consequence instead.

till & mirai

no-nonsense emotional support and taking on a lot of others' duties when they can't handle them. earth house hasn't been in any fights with the whole gang yet so he hasn't gotten the chance, but i'm willing to bet he ends up manning the helm of a spaceship if these idiots end up commandeering one. even if not, they both embody "look i know you're going through a lot right now but so is everyone. i'm willing to support you but get it together."

aliya & frau bow

mostly-nonsense emotional support. i kid, but they're very much the pat on the back when you need them and help out in other ways if necessary for the team. kind of not really helpful with the whole fighting thing at all but they're there to give you a tarot reading or cheer you on on the comms if you need it. this is probably the weakest connection in terms of role but in terms of the way they behave it's pretty fun.

everyone else

no direct parallels. you can't do a whole 1:1 of the two since they're in very different scenarios (earth house owns a single demi trainer. they're not military) but i think the number of parallels visible is kinda cute. this is partially why i recommend '79 to people who like gwitch- similar tone (in terms of dark/light), shoujo drama, and LARGE teenager gang who (mostly) gets along despite being in a situation where they really would be completely understandable if they didn't.

I was wondering if you could do a pre-dad!MH/EMH guys (of your choice kinda like the one you did way back in march) before they were traumatized and everything went downhill (😭) I kinda feel like they’re parenting would kinda change sense they are not burden by their respectives trauma. Besides Tim cause he was been through it since birth but he was getting better

Evan

I've mentioned before that Evan would be the type of dad that would basically be his kid's best friend

Obviously he'll put on the parental pants when he needs to to make sure you aren't doing things you aren't meant to and also take care of your needs

But Evan believes that a parent and child's relationship should be one of the closest bond and relationship in a person's life. And so he has a big emphasis in making sure that you two get along and have a close bond

You're honestly his whole world, he practically revolves around you. He's secretly really doting on you and will deny it if anyone points it out

He's still his regular self and maybe to some more serious people he seems like an immature guy and that he might not be the best dad

But Evan really does do a lot and isn't afraid to put your needs before his

Vinny and Jeff are like uncles/god-fathers to you since you probably grew up and were taken care of by them too

I've said this before but Evan would be such a good fun dad. He's perfect for being a dad

Tim

I've talked about before the being a parent is scary because he's scared of his condition and the Operator getting in the way

But let's just. Pretend he doesn't have that, just so we can see this man be a father without any worries of paranormal beings and things tormenting him or his child

I think Tim is still scared of messing up and being a dad at first.

I mean, who isn't. You are in charge of meeting the child's needs, providing safety and security, forming morals and understandings, and have to put in a lot of physical, emotional, and mental energy.

So it all scares Tim a bit, but he's able to get it together and find some support systems like Brian and the rest of the group

He's actually not too bad at it and actually grows from it

It's a little bit funky for him when their small but he gets used to that

I feel like he's best as the dad who you can talk to and he can give you some life advice and stories that are semi-good. I mean it's not bad so at least it's not that

Vinny

Vinny makes a pretty okay to good dad

His personality and attitude strikes be as both a good one for being a dad but also that maybe be would have some faults

He seems like he'd enjoy it and the thought of being a dad and makes jokes about it

But sometimes Vinny will have moments where he doesn't know what to do or how to handle it

Like lets say is kid is a teen and they're doing stuff and getting into things that he doesn't like, or he and his kid get into a fight/argument

He sort of has no idea what to do and might put his foot down too harshly or not enough

I feel like it would be a little to heavy with him because he just sort of trouble shoots and just goes off what he thinks he should in that moment rather than stepping away for a moment and thinking about it

He's doing his best, don't get me wrong

But sometimes he just has a moment where he just doesn't know how to handle something and thinks that he should
