i feel like charlie would have the most normal social media acct and following, like maybe an instagram where he posts pictures of himself (mostly for family), and like a twitter where he occasionally retweets his friends or bartlet. he likes making fun of other people (especially senior staff) for being too stuck to their devices, and a large online presence would take away that ability

CJ’s twitter is less incendiary than she’d like, since she’s the face of the bartlet administration, and so a lot of it is discussing policy or clarifying briefings. she does retweet a lot of good edu sites or interesting articles she finds. she herself trends a lot, she’s pretty famous online as a political icon ala AOC or bernie sanders, and she gets a lot of edits made online from press conferences (which she enjoys bragging abt to the other staff, while making fun of them for being out-of-touch). CJ also has a private instagram that hogan had her make, but she only posts extremely blurry pictures of coffee and her goldfish with captions like “hogan said to post to remind people that im alive”. toby always replies with “sending the pictures to MOMA. breathtaking” and danny replies with “breaking news. press secretary reveals she is still alive. more at 7”.

leo does not have social media because he still has a flip phone and a brick laptop. he says he prefers hearing bad news out loud or reading it on physical paper, but really, he just can’t figure out how to work it. im talking types “google” into google, then types “hello find me a map of the united states of america” in the search bar. margaret tried to help but seeing him type google into google physically pained her

josh is banned from twitter (after he pissed off three midwestern states, basket weavers, and most hollywood producers in the first week in office). cj regularly checks to make sure he hasn’t made a new account. he has a public instagram, but cj looks over captions before he posts (he once tried to ask the president for permission to get a new account but the president sided with cj). most of his posts are about encouraging people to vote or be more politically active. he is also not allowed to reply to comments on the instagram, so he reads them out loud in a mocking voice to donna. unbeknownst to him, there is a white house deputy chief of staff twitter page run by donna (with cj’s permission) that discusses white house initiatives and shares fun anecdotes abt day to day work. anytime someone tells josh they love his twitter account he assumes they mean instagram, and nobody tells him until bartlet is two years out of office

donna, like charlie, has an instagram mostly for her family back home, but also has a twitter where she talks about tv shows she likes and her hobbies, that has a decent following. she might have a tumblr but again it would be abt tv shows and hobbies she has

toby is on goodreads and instagram (but only to leave sarcastic comments on his friends’ posts). he hates twitter’s word count limit and how it’s owned by elon musk, and rants abt it often. he leaves lengthy reviews on any political commentary article in the comments section. this has been brought up in the briefing room, to the point where cj has a recording of herself saying “toby ziegler’s online rants are not indicative of president bartlet’s views. if you have any questions please direct them to ziegler himself”

president bartlet has facebook </3. there’s a white house twitter page run by an intern, but he’s not involved with that. he posts fun facts about national parks or ancient latin novels, but each fact starts with something like “joshua lyman, 🧍‍♂️deputy chief of staff, 🇺🇸doesn’t understand the true beauty of yellowstone national park 🙄🏞🏜🤦‍♂️”. most people think it’s a parody account and cj doesn’t want to correct them

abbey does not have facebook, despite her husbands insistence that it’s better than twitter. on the rare occasions she uses her account it’s mostly to discuss important medical breakthroughs and her daughter’s work

sam has a really popular instagram, where he posts selfies and pretty pictures of the white house and captions like “having a great day at work today!” or “white house at sunset.. gorgeous”. he posts on his story a lot, and comes off as very relatable to the public. he’s cj’s dream social media user

will bailey runs campaign social medias pretty well but his own twitter account is mostly for promoting the campaigns. occasionally he retweets stuff his friends post, or tweets out funny jokes he hears.

Huge Shai rant, or ventting, idk tdlr twitter bad and I wanan complain about it, you can go now... I have managed to crumb away my twitter usage by a lot the past few weeks, very proud of it. Still, I wanna complain. That site continues to be a shitshow, it's so bad. The comment section of majority of popular tweets is a parody of that site. I feel like i have to wear dive gear when I go into the comments section. I have to pass through thousands, of random bluecheck bot accounts posting random videos under it. It's so annoying... If you managed to pas through them, your reward is more bluecheck mark users, who you can tell they are people, but act like chat GPT designed them. After passing through all that trash, you may eventually see non-bluecheck comments, but even then they may be trash. Like somehow there's a big number of people who just comment there to tag a random bot. Idk why u need a bot to take a screenshot, but ok. Then there's those who just tag random bots to download the video or audio... I can understand those, but still really annoying. It's like the website is trying to encoraje me to stop using it. There's no way Im going to waste my time blocking thousands of accounts to keep using it. If it wasn't for all the artists that I follow there and continue to only post on that hell. I would have stopped but alas... I used to have another reason to be there, it was the friendships, but they seem to have been kinda lost now? Faded away. Since despite my best efforts to convince them "twitter rlly bad, please move with me to tumblr, plz". They either refuse to move out of it or instead just... dont use either lmao. It's like im talking to a wall, heck, one of them is for some reason using a private account to arquive stuff, I explained to them why that is terrible thing to do on twitter. I got ignored. genuine question: what’s your opinion on the lyricism in sm(f)s? for the record im a huge post-hiatus fan and mania is my favourite fob album ever so this isnt me trying to bash “”new fob””, but honestly though the new album has a lot of strengths i find a lot of the lyrics kind of…boring? basic? with some exceptions they’re more straightforward, and i feel like they lack the artistry of any of the previous albums. i’m not sure if im missing something about the style of the album, i dont know if im missing something, but i like your lyric analyses and so i wanted your thoughts on the matter

i think what youre noticing isnt necessarily a lack of artistry, because i think theres a lot of genuinely good lines ('love is in the air, i just gotta figure out a window to break out' and 'i would never ask you of anything except to dream sweet of me' are two examples of very good lines) what youre noticing is the same thing i did, and thats nihilism. for me personally i understand that thats the theme of the album, but it takes some getting used to! like usually fall out boy lyrics arent THIS bleak, and it seems like kind of a shallow parody when you dont take into account the whole (this is the theme of the album, nihilism and living with it, life is meaningless with the implication that living it gives it meaning). i cant speak for you, but the thing thats tripping me up is that there is no upside on this album. like a lot of fob lyrics are self deprecating and negative but theyre like, about a person, so theres a reprieve. we can be like this is about a relationship or a person or a feeling. this album and subsequently the lyrics are about The State Of Things. its interesting, there isnt a lot of self deprecation on this one either. it really is looking outward, which also might be tripping you and i up a bit.

its kinda like when we all first heard hard times by paramore and people (myself included) were like this sounds like hayley williams just wrote down stereotypical emo lyrics and then you heard the entire album and its like OH. its the theme. its like that but with every song. individually its like oh these are just stereotypical emo lyrics. but altogether its like ohhh. the theme.

my ultimate verdict on the lyrics is that these are some of petes best, theyre just different than what he normally does. i like them a lot, there are some great lines to chew on ('im in a winter mood dreaming of spring now' really summarises the album well, it is the cold and hard and lean times, i am yearning for a new beginning. and i like the parallel between 'ache it til you make it' and 'the kind of pain you feel to get good in the end' both of those really encapsulate the motif of living through the senselessness) (also 'ive been going through it and ive been putting your name to it. sorry im just talking about the title track oops) its got a lot of art to it! its just a little pessimistic. or nihilistic, to be precise.

I just finished a rewatch of Veep, and im curious what you thought about how they ended it? selina becoming potus and being completely alone & Gary scapegoating etc. Also wondering if the writers changed mid way through? upon my 2nd watch i noticed it get quite fan-servicey and honestly like stupid, in the place of being sooo clever and original in the beginning (not abt succession IM SORRY)

omg are you KIDDING ME do not be sorry!!! i know this blog is on succession lockdown rn but typically it is truly jack of all trades and i am always always down to talk about veep. soooooo many thoughts fr you have come to the right fucking place

you are so right on all counts!!! great catch on the writers -- the wonderful creator/showrunner armando iannucci had to leave veep after season 4 because constantly flying back and forth between london (his home) and baltimore (where they shot) just wasn't logistically feasible anymore. thus, iannucci was replaced by a new showrunner -- david mandel, my arch enemy, who i would murder in cold blood if i could -- starting with season 5.

season 5 is, in my opinion, still a pretty great season; the first half or so is definitely up there with s1-4 to me! but the more comfortable mandel became holding the reins, the more he 'made it his own' and strayed from iannucci's formula and characterizations (which were originally pretty consistent in the transition period of early s5), the worse the show got, until finally we find ourselves with the absolute abomination that is season 7. so, if you haven't guessed, i am... not fond of the final two seasons, especially season 7. while it's not like GoT-level show-ruining, it's pretty damn bad, so long as you were invested in the characters. obviously the humor becomes waaaay more shock-value and cliche, everything gets very over-the-top and almost becomes a parody of itself, etc, but even then for a lot of people it's still funny and worth watching. unfortunately it is not my cup of tea for two reasons:

1) i loooove the iannucci style humor and the further the plotlines/characterizations/etc got from reality, the less the satire worked for me. i just don't think mandel handled trump administration era very well and it just... wasn't very funny, especially not compared to the other seasons. i talk about this some in this response to an ask from a while ago, if you wanna see me be very civil about it, lmao.

2) i love amy brookheimer. this is the main reason, honestly, because holy mother of fuck i have never seen a character so systematically ruined and torn down, especially not in a plotline the showrunner calls 'empowering.' i've written about this a lot already, actually, if you want to take a gander -- i'm so insane about this exact thing that i have literally written an entire essay on it that was published in a film/tv journal so if you want an amy character analysis/amy-centered denunciation of s7 that is unfortunately and inexplicably formatted in weirdly skinny columns (they did the formatting/photos, not me, lmao), there ya go. if u want more reading here's another late season criticism post about amy (and one about dan to boot) from other accounts that i've reblogged and shit.

what i liked about veep was how it balanced reality and satire, humanity and cynicism. but the later seasons dove into the cynical, satirical deep end and ended up no more meaningful than, like, just a bunch of 30 minute long SNL skits mocking trump. what made it interesting and good was the fact that it felt so real, and the humor came from the absurdity of knowing all of this could actually happen, and the fact that somehow we ended up rooting for these characters that are so blatantly despicable. but we did root for them -- if not to be president, to at least have lives that we'd follow and be invested in, to continue to have relationships with one another. the relationships were at the core of the show -- gary and selina, selina and amy, amy and dan, etc etc etc -- and while the satire and humor were what drew you in, the dynamics between the characters were what made you keep watching, and also what made the satire and humor all that much more poignant and funny! but. then came david mandel. and the rest, as they say, is history.

i really wonder how iannucci would've ended the show. i think very differently, lol. i don't think it would've become a blatant morality tale of Evil Person Does Evil Things To Succeed = Pyrrhic Empty Victory. i don't think selina would've been potus or that gary would've ended up in JAIL (which like looking at it objectively is crazy from the veep plotlines of early seasons which were, like, about which ice cream flavors to choose -- i miss the mundanity of it all!!!), i don't think jonah would've become trump on steroids or amy a miserable kerryanne conway or dan a sexaholic sleazeball. i don't know where it would've ended up, but god, anywhere but where it did, seriously. every time i watch an early episode it just feels soooo incredibly different from where the show ended up in literally every sense and it's just so sad!!! ugh. veep 1-4 and half of 5 i miss u armando iannucci please come back

i just feel have not seen a single post/tweet/etc about taika waititi or love and thunder that has felt normal or like a reasonable/proportional response to the film. (this post got way too long and i feel embarrassed and cringe about it so its going under a cut)

i see a tweet criticizing him for poking fun at the cgi in a clip used as promo, and like, okay the phrasing of the tweet kind of exaggerates how cruel he is being (about a character that he literally plays), but the points being made about how vfx artists are overworked and underpaid is absolutely true. but the tweet is made by a zack snyder stan account positioning taika waititi himself as the poster boy of the MCU and the symbol of the companies treatment of vfx artists as a whole. which is weird. i think.

i see a post on here about the same clip, half the notes are diehard loki stans who already view taika as the devil incarnate because he “disrespected” their baby boy in ragnarok talking about how hes an asshole and they hate him because he has a huge ego etc etc. and more posts using these moments as the core basis to talk about the MCU and why its bad as a whole and i just. since when was he the face of the MCU?? i know he made the movie that most recently came out but i am just.

we KNOW that the directors barely play a role in these films we all reblogged that article about how half the movie is made - not just written, but literally the scenes have been created digitally etc - before the director even signs on and we KNOW ragnarok is an outlier (and from what i hear this film is more standard MCU fare, though i also hear it reads like a kind of parody of that, which i could absolutely believe, but i need to see it for myself ofc). but suddenly when its a guy we’ve decided needs to get taken down a peg its ONLY his fault?

 like obviously i like taika waititi a lot i have Feelings for him and also i like his work!!!! but the point of this post isnt to be like omg defending taika online isnt enough i need a sword im just like. why do i need to defend him?? what did he do??? he clearly doesnt give a shit about marvel like i think thats what it comes down to at the end of the day. marvel movies will never be truly good no matter who makes them so he made a(n apparently) bad movie and got his paycheck. obviously i don’t actually know him or his motivations etc etc and im not going to die on the hill of defending a fucking marvel director or whatever but the intensity of the backlash just feels. genuinely weird to me.

Writing this after the fact, so non-chronological order: Weiss mom has a drinking problem, in the same episode that reminds us Qrow is trying to kick the same habit. To indicate exactly how terrible a parent Jaques is, she cries happy tears from hearing her daughter isnt coming back home. Whitley hates his sisters for abandoning him to his father. (great scene, great characterisation. Love it entirely). I dont ship it (yet) or anything, but i do hope they’ll join the same AA group at some point. Imagine the thrill of getting to arrest your own dad. Arthur is still sort of generic, but he’s earned a trait besides Smarm and Science: He’s a half-decent salesperson. Also a bit of a showman with a sense of drama. Innocents are about to freeze, and i’ll admit that i like seeing a businessman turned corrupt politician actually face accountability but i dont know if thats the writing or my frustration with the having access to the internet during the Trump Administration. I hope this’ll be the end of his character, he seems like exactly the type of villain whose presence is better felt in absence. (as in the scar on Weiss’ face is enough presence on its own, we dont actually need his presence that much. I might be wording it badly. Basically im worried they’re gonna stage a breakout scene for him and he’ll overstay his unwelcome as a character.) Neopolitan is back, and she still leaves me feeling as cold about her presence in the narrative as the icecream she is named after, but that’s largely because its hard to characterise a character who does not speak. (but then, her being a one-note character is actually a strength. The same as Wile-E-Coyote being one-note is a good thing).  This brings me to a little segment that I call “Richard struggles to figure out what the deal with Emerald & Neo even is”. Today on RSTFOWTDE&NES: I’ll openly but shamefully admit it took me verry long to realise that neo’s semblance was some kind of pseudo-illusion thing? Though at least some have seemed semi-tangible. In my defense her earliest appearances mostly had her use it to vanish into thin air so i thought she was just a teleporter like Ruby. Then when i finally figured out Neo had illusions, i sort of got confused and thought a lot of Emeralds things in the tournament where actually Neo doing that. I guess what im trying to say is its kind of weird for the villains to have 2 different illusion-based characters, and for one of them to have an “only one target at a time” limitation. like thats sort of weird isnt it? I might be misremembering, but did Maid!Neo talk to Weiss? Or was that a different maid who has been stuffed into a closet off-screen so Neo could take her place afterwards? Its sort of unclear to me. Cinder is also here, God i hope she gets a character besides “generic hunger for power” at some point but if there is i havent seen it yet. But its nice to know that Ozpin isnt the only one whose lieutenants can betray them at least, not much to say she’s still spending most of the plot looking ominously. Whitley crying on the stairs, This family needs more hugs and less alcohol. Robyn, you’re nice. I dont know what more to say. You’re the only character in Atlas i would trust to run a popsiclestand, Not a lot of deep going on with her, but Robin Hood parodies live and thrive by virtue of their simplicity. They finally tell James that Salem cant be killed and that they lied about the relic’s number of questions, i’ll admit i only ever understood one of those two lies. (They could’ve just claimed “ozpin told us she cant be killed/do you really believe that if she could be killed Ozpin wouldnt have succeeded a thousand lifetimes ago). Does this mean the tower is cancelled? Is operation “100 Shions at once” finally cancelled? NO because Oscar said to stop keeping Salem a secret, so that plan is still a go apparently.  The Penny and Winter Dont Understand Eachother scene was great, and i adored the moment Winter thought “oh shit, did i just pull a robo-racism?”. Verry “Pyrrha accidentally implies Jaune should jump off the roof” energy there.

What is hinkimon?

Hinkimon is a small project of mine I've had since middle school that's a parody of Pokémon. However, hinkimon is meant for a more mature audience since it deals with themes of religion, death, murder, and much much more. So far the storyline is a huge work in progress so i don't have much to talk about it with, tho they basic premise is that 2 realms are fighting for power and you're trying to find the 3rd one (the peace maker) that disappeared long ago that you need to find before the power of the other 2 becomes unbalanced and basically destroys the entire universe. (story might not actually be the story! Im still thinking abt it!)

Any suggestions with my story/characters/hinkimon/hinkimon designs? Leave them in my ask box! Ill be more than happy to answer your questions/recommendations!

hi, im not sure if you guys are aware, but baxters va did get a bit of a call out post on twitter, regarding things that he has done on his baxter rp/parody account with how he flirts with some people as baxter on it and posting sexual posts in the our life hashtag on the site. i dont know if this is something that would concern you or not or if there is any action to be taken, but i just thought i should try and inform if need be.

I didn't know, I try to let people talk about the game freely and not be always watching for what people are doing. But I did go look when this ask was sent and, yeah, that was a problem. A VA shouldn't use the character they voice to speak sexually suggestively to players of the game they're in.

Now, in this case, my view of the situation is that it was inexperience and an unfortunate coincidence. The goal wasn't to creep on fans of the character, it was just his first time voicing a character with a fanbase and he thought it'd be fun to get to participate in that community by continuing to play as his character, but the character he voiced was the flirty one. That's the reason his posts were trying to be sexy and swoony, he was attempting to give fans the kind of stuff they liked from the game. If he had voiced someone like Derek who interacts by saying "Dude, you're awesome!" or Cove who might tell you what kind of fish you'd be if you were a fish, I do believe the account would've been inline with that type of vibe instead.

But that doesn't make it okay. I went and spoke to him about how talking like that actually comes across when you're a professional interacting with fans and he got it. He's since deleted the account and apologized. He hopes that he can repair the negative impact he had. My view on that is good. He accepted that the attempt went wrong even though the intentions were positive. We can work with someone who is willing to do that.

Now, if we ever get the impression that he, or any other team member of ours, genuinely does want to use their position on our game to try manipulating fans for their personal pleasure/benefit, we won't be coming out to support them.

How Can Someone Reform The Sith

In SWTOR, a Lightside Sith Warrior can tell Jaesa that they will ‘reform The Sith Empire from within’, people talk about Darth Malgus and Darth Acina being reformists, and my Fenrir-Verse focuses mainly on a trio of people looking to make The Empire better, but I have questions I’m struggling to answer.

What would a ‘reformed’ Sith Empire look like? How does someone change it for the better without making it into something else entirely? What parts can’t be changed without The Sith Empire into just a Republic parody?

Domination over others, might makes right, seeking personal power, and violent conquest are key parts of Sith culture, so how does anyone reform a culture like that without it ending up as a diffrent culure?

For my part all I can think to do is 1: allow non-Sith to hold real social and political power. 2: abolish slavery. And 3: make Sith and millitary personel accountable to the laws of The Empire, not above them.

If anyone can suggest a website where I could make a disscusion board on this topic, that would be great, thank you.

Also, Im going to tag @swtorpadawan @fluffynexu and @terrelian-inquisitor because I think you’d have some intresting thoughts on the matter. Sorry if this is annoying or rude.

really hating how Hazbin Hotel treats demonology and religion. I hate most of what that show does (racism, queermisia) but let’s just say nothing good can come out of a cartoon based on religion made by an Annoying Asshole Atheist type like Vivienne (who is btw also a pedophile-- and yes it also affects her shitty interpretation of religion).

I’m not going to talk about how she hates Christianity as a whole because, not gonna lie, it’s understandable to some extent. I mean her racist, inaccurate depiction of Vodou and hoodoo as “Southern Cannibal Doll Evil Religion” (ewwwww), and her bastardization of demonology/demonolatry. Her Dantian Hell is fucked up as is, but also lacks a fundamental respect towards Satanism and demonology. This hell not only doesn't have punishments but it also is filled with actually harmful, wrong portrayals of demons. which are, as far as I know:

-depicting Stolas as a sexual predator and a cheater

-also depicting Stolas as... anything but a demon of knowledge, really? Helluva Boss is only a pilot, but still

-depicting Lilith as a demon of lust (she isn’t even a demon?) married to Lucifer (she’s married to Asmodeus, depending on the source) and not giving her much agency besides “queen of Hell” (I'm sure she isnt...?) and Magical Horny Powers. BTW apparently the only person immune to her Succubus Horny Magic that makes u want to fuck her is a random gay man. Nobody else. Not even her daughter. Sweet. /s

-showing Stolas’ sigils everywhere in his palace (potentially putting people in danger because some can and will try to summon him without protection)

-while im all for original portrayals of Hell, mixing up actual demonolatrous imagery with a version of Hell that apparently doesnt even work correctly is... off? it doesnt sit right with me. Good Omens for instance had rather accurate demons, and it was a PARODY. 

-and, keeping in mind Vivziepop has already subtly ruined Asmodeus by giving his wife to someone else, has her Hell be overrun with sexual predators that never get consequences for her actions (something that literally wouldn't happen in an accurate Dantian Hell but ok), makes sexual jokes 24/7, and is herself a pedo... I'm pretty sure she’s going to make the Circle of Lust some sort of r*pist haven when, in reality, it is anything but. that would piss off (and potentially harm) demonolaters. I mean she already fucked up Lilith with the whole Horny Powers thing. This might be me overthinking tho. 

oh also? some of those inaccuracies are rather harmful to JEWISH PEOPLE. yes, Jewish people, given that Lilith is an important part of Judaism, and Vivziepop making her only confirmed Jewish character, Mimzy, be a straight up antisemitic caricature in every possible way, that’s not good. and while satanists are just seen as a kooky bunch, jews are historically the most targeted religious group. Viv is feeding into that. 

...and that’s without taking into account the butchered, incomplete vevés she depicted! Vodou’s a closed practice that a white woman like Viv shouldn't be mangling, and vevés arent “aesthetic”, they’re important religious symbols, each representing a loa.  putting them into a cartoon is already rather disrespectful to both loas and Vodou practitioners, but associating them to a cannibalistic villain is WORSE, keeping in mind how white people demonized Vodou, a religion that liberated Black slaves, by linking it to witchcraft and cannibalism-- and making them incomplete is the icing on the bullshit cake.

TL,DR: Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss (and of course their creator, Viv) treat minor religions like utter shit. She misrepresents, mangles, and stereotypes at least three separate practices, the first two of which are closed and often attacked: Judaism (her portrayal of Lilith + antisemitic stereotypes), Vodou (everything about Alastor but specially the scene in which he manifests vevés), and demonolatry/Satanism (inaccurate and harmful depictions of demons, such as portraying Stolas as a rapist and Lilith as a temptress).

A Day of Curation

Unless its Wednesday, it should be around 11am right now when i get up. First things first, put in my headphones and go get some good music! Its Monday - time to listen to my Discover Weekly playlist, which Spotify usually tailors perfectly to my tastes.

1. 🎶 SPOTIFY 🎶

Fun fact - this weeks "Discover Weekly" suggs. Usually I get the best music from there. I don't really recall the last time any of my friends really showed a song I didn't already know or was adequately good. Tho, I have to give Amelie some credit here, she constanly hits me with great Spanish tunes. (Also to Jasi and Safae which hit me up with some dope music from time to time) I mostly get inspiration from (sad to say but its true) tik tok or by randomly shazaming the world. I also really hate to limit myslfe to music i understand. On the contrary I LOVE LOVE LOVE music arround the world. Trust me i hear Tibetian Throat Singing to Russian Electro and even Islandic and Nativ American Tribal Music. To give you an impression of how important music consumption is for me:

Last Year i spent a total of 210 441 minutes on spotify alone. That is about 9 Hours a day. The average person uses Spotify for about 18 000 minutes a year. (My friend took the freedom to calculate how much money Spotify "looses" by my consumption. i pay $30 a year an Spotify gives $0,004891 per stream to the creator. An average of 3 minutes per song (70.000 streams) means spotify pays $342.37 to the creators. Thats $312.37 of deficit LOL)

Apart form that i cant really give Spotify a certain schedule when i listen to it cuz i listen to it all the time. During gaming, during coding, laundry, gym, work, class, before sleep. ✨Always✨

2. 💬 WhatsApp 💬

There is nothing better than sleeping for an eternity while everyone is already awake for probably 4 or more hours, working! *laughs in privileged design student* Since everyone is already living its live while I still drool, I gotta get up to date in the morning. Before i even leave bed, i checke my messages there. Similar to Spotify, I use WhatsApp the whole day and can't really tell when I would not use it. Except, my phone is always on silent (casual zennial phone call phobia) meaning i wont notice anything while zoning out or gaming (which usualy is the same).

3. 👨‍🏫 TEAMS 👩‍🏫

Yeah Yeah i can already hear it. "You wake up 5 minutes before class withouth breakfast or anything..." - bla bla bla. Yeah that is the case! I would usuly go on teams and enter the classroom, while preparing a breakfast (if you can call it breakfast after 12) sit down at my desk and listen to class. Causally everything that is too theoretical with music and whatsapp. Other classes that are interesting I`ll put my full attention to it.

But i hate teams in gerneral. Not cuz its sh**, no, usualy people that do their clases there have a weird way of using it. Finding material or looking up homeworks is such a struggle sometimes. (Props to you Kevin here, I have never seen anybody using teams in such a clean and struktured way than you do. Even tho you dont neccesarily use it as it was meant to be. (which might be the turning point on why its great))

4. 📺 YouTube 📺

Yup YouTube is usually the place to go after (sometimes during (I NEVER SAID THAT!)) class.

Actually, YouTube is the place to go for me. Relaxation, Entertainment, knowledge - anything! After class I'd usually watch "Cut" or other channels that produce let's plays or entertainment of some sort.

But it's also THE place to go during coding. I rather listen to Lofi or (Slowed, Reverbed) Music that doesnt really distract me. ALSO, during coding watch A SH*TLOAD OF TUTORIALS, cuz I am proud selftaught Zennial. #BestOfBothWorlds

5. 👨‍🍳 CHEFKOCH 👨‍🍳

I love to try new things and I constantly stalk the web for new recipes. Lately a lot of Asian and Vegan stuff. Chefkoch is the app to go where i also write down my own recipes to have them with me all the time. Great thing here is, i share this account with all my family members (currently 13, including my mom, aunts, other relatives). Great way to share the secret family recipes at any time!

6.🏐 ADDIDAS TRAINING🏐

Unlike all my sporty friends that used to hit the gym before covid and not got lazy, I started to use Training Apps like Addidas Training with its free Workout plans. I use it regularly and am happy i finally found a way to stay sporty.

7. ⌨️ VS CODE ⌨️

Its either Visual Studio Code, where I would code on my current project, or gaming. As mentioned above, I would get most of the inspiration from tutorials or using dev tools on different platforms.

8. 🎤 DISCORD 🎮

I´ll use Discord as a general term for Gaming since I play a lot but many different games, tho, always use discord to communicate with my freinds while gaming.

A great place to share random BS with friends and talk about anything that comes to my mind. I spent most of the evenings on Discord with my friends. Always did, in fact. Maybe the reason why I don't really feel so affected by the pandemic. I am used to being separated from my friends since they live all over Germany or the world in general. I always enjoy Online Live Events WITH my friends.

For me the web as always been a "with" not an "alone", which is why I never understand why so may struggle with feeling "alone" on live events online. JUST GRAB A FRIEND AND DISCOVER IT ✨TOGETHER✨!

9. 📼 DISNEY+ / NETFLIX 📼

Since I use both the same amount there is not thos or that. I never Really let anybody recommend me anything, cuz ... trust me, I WON'T watch it. IDK why that is, but I need a specific mood for each show. And nobody but myself can provide that. Probably why most ove the algorithms (esp Netflix) do not have an effect on me. I'm not in the mood for your ****, sorry!

Never the less, i periodically Binge a Series and then feel empty after it ended. Then i need some time to face reality again.

Funny tho, I binged Starwars Rebels on Disney+ and after it ended i just decide to buy 4 books on amazon that expand the story to starwars (#nerd i know). I will spend the next few months reading and probably not watching anything on both Streaming services.

10. 🤤 TIKTOK 🌈

... YUP.... I grew up with vine ... but TikTok got me. And honestly I don't regret it. It's the perfect algorithm that constantly finds the best videos that feed my thirsty queer ass. I mean ...

Its prolly not good for my digital wellbeing or my mental health but do I care at the moment..? noooooo...

Just give me more of Starwars Parodies, Sleepwalkers, Best off's of streamers, Queer content (cuz its time this heteronormativity world is fed with it! and no i do not indentify as anyting, im just the + at the very far end!) and yeah, even some sexy content if the creator feels good about it.
