i just want people to know that just because your content doesn’t get many notes, doesn’t mean it isn’t worthwhile. there is someone out there, a living breathing human being, who appreciates it, whose day it made that little bit brighter, and who admires what you do. nothing is a ‘flop’ if it made one person happy.

Over the weekend I used some sock yarn scraps to knit a replica of the purse found with the Gunnister Man! The pattern I used included lots of fun info, including instructions on how to copy the really unusual cast-on he used, & the fact that he had an unfinished knitting project in another one of his pockets.

It was really fun & I want to knit more sometime! I ended up making this one a few inches longer to hold my phone & wallet, so some of the colorwork is me doodling instead of a direct copy. Maybe I'll pick 'accurate' colors in the future, but hey, I figure if he had access to a broader range of colors, maybe he'd've used a little hot pink too. 🧶

I'm still upset about a particular scene in Httyd;thw. Remember when the whole gang, including Valka, Cloudjumper, Eret and Skullcrusher had gone on that 'mission' to capture Grimmel but they eventually leave without achieving anything, even letting Ruffnut behind.At the next scene (lemme show it really quick),

We see all the dragons,but... You guessed it, Skullcrusher is nowhere to be found. And you may tell me he was somewhere in the background, you're wrong. I re watched the movie multiple times,and neither Eret or Skullcrusher where shown in this scene. The only theory I have in mind is that since Eret and Skullcrusher were the lead of searching teams (yes I know,the movies never mentioned that, it's based on a headcanon I found) they probably had went on another searching run. But,I think it would be nice if the others were like, "I'm sure we'll know what's going on for sure when Eret comes back from the search run", or smth like that. What are your thoughts about this?

Growing up neurodivergent and asexual I was always told I was flirting when I was just trying to be friendly and the only reason learned the difference was that for a year and a half (Mormon mission) I was surrounded by various women who would always get on my case when I did something flirtatious so I eventually learned what it was by sheer pattern recognition.
