Lmaoooo this is shinso, he tries so hard to be nonchalant but is vibrating at the thought that you brushed hands earlier, ✋️ love me pathetically inlove men who are unable to express it like a normal human being, who else does this remind you of lol ?
(You can totally ignore this but sometimes im a little nosey) Saw that someone blocked you and while my totally rational mind is like "yeah maybe they just don't like the content, I sometimes block ppl because they pop up on my feed to frequently or smth like that" but ngl sometimes it's like " no, tell me the reason!" So yeah ur valid for feeling a little miffed, and if you want to be upset, I'll be upset with you! Lmao sending lots of love
(link!)
COOKIE, i'm so glad to see u! i felt bad about not getting to ur last ask, so it's nice that you're still around💓💓💓
this absolutely IS shinso and it's gonna drive me insane to think about LOL, the way not even his closest friends know how deep he is into his lil crush.
like him still being his somewhat cold self on the outside, trying to focus on work and business, literally MALFUNCTIONING when u just get coffee at the same time as him, pass him in the halls, sit next to him in meetings.
he's an underground hero for gods sake, he shouldn't be flustered over little things like that. AND YET, deep down he's so loving and romantic and dedicated that he just can't help the way he aches for you! kasdfnkjlladsjfkjadfmkl, truly.
(takes him like two whole years to work up the nerve to say anything about it to you, and even then he struggles being casual about it bc he doesn't want to show that he's scared of your rejection. just kiss him already!!!)
this also reminds me a bit of ... kirishima, honestly??? he's a little more forward LOL but he's such a mess over you in the crushing stages at first. doesn't want bakugo to pick at him for it, or even for you to think he's being too forward or something... arg, i love that dude (and you, too!).
(the type to go out with the boys and sigh the whole time bc he wishes he could've invited u. and then when he's asked what's wrong is just like: "ahhh you know. nothing :-)" BITCH!!)
lolol, this was such a cute thought! thank u for stopping by with it<3
-
and about the blocking ... YEAH. like i just wish i knew the reason, so at least i wouldn't have to wonder if i ... hurt someone unintentionally. ofc i stand by a lot of my decisions / actions too so maybe it's totally justified... but still.
and there ended up being a third person who blocked me recently too, which just made me even more DAM!!! (even tho i'll be fine in the end).
but i appreciate the concern (and upset-ness hehe) cookie! lots of love to you, too and hope you're well!🖤

pairing: Neteyam x EywaHealer!Reader
summary: The same way Ewya had brought you your gifts, was the same way she brought you to Neteyam. So, when sacrifice leads to fatal injury, you will stop at nothing to make sure your love is safe.
note: thanks @directioner5life for the request! You asked for a fix-it fic, and I am happy to oblige :)) (I have my thoughts on the whole death scene, and I'm going to be writing my theories soon.) Hope you enjoy my loves! xx
warnings: Mention of being shot, blood, Angst, and some sadness. Fluff at the ending though *cries*
word count: 1,984
Your mother had said you were chosen for something. Ewya had gifted you to her in a time of great sorrow, and that the seeds of the sacred tree had blessed you during your birth ceremony.
You had flourished in medicinal value, your powers having the ability to heal the sick and injured. Your mother was proud of your accomplishments, but you couldn't help but feel the oddity in your abilities.
Growing up you were protected because of your gifts, sheltered from the world, and picked on by other Na’vi kids because of it. It didn't help that with every recoup in another's health, you could feel your body drain in tiredness.
Some days were worse than others. And some days you wished it would all disappear.
That was until you met Neteyam.
The eldest son of Toruk Makto, leader of the Omatikaya Clan, Neteyam was the poster boy of being groomed for greatness. At first glance you had felt him to be too protective, but you realized his earnest love and commitment he had for his family was admirable.
That was one of many reasons that made you fall in love with him. Your mother often joked that you two would make a great pairing as Tsahik, and that you should start counting down the days until you two would mate in front of Ewya.
If only your mother knew there were quite a few close calls.
So, when the RDA had arrived back on Pandora, and Neteyam's father, Jake Sully had to step down from his position as Olo'eyktan, you were shocked. The Sully Clan was leaving, and you were determined to follow them anywhere.
So, you did.
This led you to the Metkayina clan, where you along with the Sully clan sought refuge in order to save your people. You had gone, much to the disheartened approval of your mother. Her last words before you left were,
"Help the Toruk Makto and his family. Ewya has given you the gift to do so."
Now the RDA and their task force of recombinants were beginning to close in on you and using every Pandora creature and village to push you out.
"Ma Neteyam, please." You cried out in earnest, latching onto him as the surrounding sounds of war cries were evident all around you. The RDA had kidnapped some of Neteyam's family including Lo'ak, Kiri and little Tuk. Tsireya had also been caught, and evident by the Metkayina's response they were just as displeased.
"No. I have to go y/n. I have to save my family." Neteyam who was getting ready to leave with the rest of the clan, held close to you. He wrapped his arm around you, his hand gliding over your face before leaning down and pressing a soft kiss against your neck. "Go help the injured, there will be casualties."
You frowned, tears beginning to well in your eyes. You knew you couldn't ask him to stay, Neteyam was always the strongest in your relationship, and in life. He couldn't let his family die. You reached for the same hand he held to your face and pulled it toward your own heart. "Eywa has led me to you. Now you must be strong and lead your family to safety."
Neteyam smiled leaving one last kiss on both your eyes, a sign of earnest love and affection. "When I come back, and this is all over..."
You stopped him, your tears mixing in with your mournful laughter. “I would do anything for you Neteyam. Just promise me you won’t-” Your voice cracked, your head shaking as you tried to stop any unnecessary emotion from spewing all at once. “Just come home.” You looked up at him and smiled, holding his hand tightly.
Neteyam nodded his head, his eyes beginning to shine with unshed tears, before he pulled you both up from your sitting positions and stood back. You followed him as you both walked together, the sounds of rushing feet and the splashes of water as clan members of the Metkayina latched onto their Elu’s and the warrior’s prepared their tsurak (skimwing).  Neteyam had gathered with a few of the friends and siblings of Tsireya’s, and they began calling to their Elus.
Before you knew it, they had left, and you were stranded to deal with those who stayed, and the frightful response that endured. You quickly made yourself available however, and it came to the point where many had left to join the fight. You knew you should’ve stayed like Neteyam had said, but something in you felt you needed to go.
Watching as a few members of the Metkayina left you, you went over to an Elu you had learned to ride previously and got on. Latching on you swam quickly after them. Neteyam and the rest of the clan had traveled north to where the Tulkuns were located, and evident by the smell in the air, you could tell one of the RDA ships was nearby.
You braced the Elu tightly, its soft squawks, reminding your beating heart to be careful.
Arriving at the scene, nothing could’ve prepared you for what you were about to see. So much so, you had troubles choking back the sob bursting from you.
Why great mother. You thought to yourself in anguish.
A fire had struck out, and multiple RDA ships crashed out into the rocks. However, what made your heart burn was the sight of a Tulkun and its newborn laying cold as it drifted away in the water. Your heart burned, and the unshed tears began to fall.
You had long known the RDA and group of humans posed a threat to your home world, but you never knew how much damage they could create.
Up ahead you heard commotion, you saw yelling, and the sounds of gunshots, and the familiar voice of the Sully family. You gasped, clicking at your Elu to swim forward, as you swam slowly toward the sight before you.
You could see Lo’ak much to your relief and the rest of the Sully family, including Tsireya, your eyes squinted as you scanned for the familiar face of your beloved, but couldn’t see it.
Up ahead you saw an Ikran swoop by, Neytiri perching onto the jagged rocks, as she crouched down. It was then you could finally see the circle of commotion around a singular body.
No.
Your heart fell silent, your body taking over as you began whispering prayers underneath your breath that the reality wasn’t true. Tsireya, who had been consoling Lo’ak looked up when she heard you. Her eyes softened as tears welled in her eyes, the look of apology written on her face.
“No...” You whispered, you left unto the rock, your eyes blind to everyone around you except for Neteyam. “No... my Neteyam.”
You looked upon his shaking body, his eyes squinting beneath the setting sun, as you tilted down to see his hand as well as Lo’ak’s trying to put pressure on the obvious wound. Blood was spilling everywhere, mixing in with the waves of water that crashed next to you.
Jake who was right next to you, put a hand delicately on your shoulder, you looked up shaking your head. “I can fix this... I- "
Jake nodded in earnest, “Please.” He looked over to Neytiri who looked blankly in disbelief. “Please. For our son.”
You crouched over Neteyam, the tears in your eyes now hitting his chest as he shuddered, his eyes dilating as he began to go unconscious. You gasped pushing your two hands onto his chest, urging him to stay awake. “Please, my love. Stay awake.”
Neteyam’s ears twitched at your familiar voice, a ghost of a smile evident on his face. “Y/n I- "He began to choke on air. This was enough for you to close your eyes and begin reciting your prayers.
Everything about this was familiar to you, you couldn't put on one hand how many times you had recited these same prayers to injured Navi, but this was different. Neteyam was everything to you. He had been the one pillar that stood tall throughout the entire time you had known him.
Your visions began to burst in colors, the familiar songs of ancestors reaching out through your mind as you felt your body move in harmony. You were asking, no demanding for Ewya to heal him. You felt the sensation reach through your chest and to your fingertips.
You heard Neteyam continue to struggle, as your voice grew louder as well as your tears. You would not give up on him.
Visions flashed through your mind, memories of the first time you met him, the first time you loved him. You could see it crystal clear in your mind, his adoring smile, the way he caressed you, his laughter bubbling out into a crisp day outshining any cloudy thoughts in your mind.
“Ewya gave me a purpose.” You used to joke with Neteyam, on one of the many excursions through the forest. “And initially I thought I was some sort of vessel but… I think she wanted me to meet you.”
Neteyam smiled, his hand reaching over to grasp your face. “You are my purpose.”
You felt the memory fade, as white invaded your visions, you felt your head reach up in shock, your hands trembling as you felt your powers surge into Neteyam. You smiled, before your vision began to fade, and you felt reality come back to you.
Your vision wobbled slightly, feeling the pain and tiredness roll over you. The sun had now set to twilight, the fire beside you from the RDA ship twinkling menacingly in the corner of your eye. You looked around realizing most of the Sully clan had left, which most likely had to do with the fact that little Tuk and Kiri were not evident on your arrival.
You tried focusing on one thing at a time, your mind feeling as if you had been run over by a ship. You looked down at your hands, which still laid peacefully on Neteyam’s chest, layered with his blood. You moved your hands, to see much to your relief, that the bullet wound was gone. Your eyes then cast their gaze on Neteyam’s face, who other than a few bruises, slept peacefully.
To make sure that it wasn’t a dream, you pushed your head down to his chest where his heart laid. You could feel the resounding thump in chorus to your own, and you couldn’t help the tears fall once again. You felt yourself smile, nuzzling into his chest. “Oh, my Ewya… thank you.”
You didn’t know how long you laid there, until you felt a hand creep up your neck, and to your hair, where it patted gently. You gasped, looking up to see Neteyam’s eyes fully open and a smug smirk placed happily on his face. “Well look at that, my own savior.”
If it wasn’t for the way his playfulness exacerbated from his body, you wouldn’t have furrowed your brows in frustration. “Neteyam!” You slapped him in the chest, as he groaned. You gasped, before scowling as he let out a laugh, pushing up from his lying position.
“Y/N…” He grasped your hands with his own, oblivious to the fact that blood still caked your fingers. “I was right.”
“Oh?” You thought curiously, smiling in disbelief that Neteyam still faced your own. “What is that?”
“You are my purpose.” Neteyam grinned, reaching up to caress your cheek, before leaning in to grasp your lips with his own. As you kissed you couldn’t help but feel he was right.
Perhaps that was it. Your mother had said you were a gift. You had a purpose in life. And maybe that purpose in life was in fact intertwined with his.
You were Neteyam’s, as much as he was yours.

sully family x fem!daughter/sister!navi!reader
summary : Y/N felt off to her family, and her parents were going to get to the bottom of it.
——————————————————————————
“Watch out!” Lo’ak roared to his older sister, Y/N, who was inches away from hitting one of the floating mountains as the two were avoiding sky people bullets. She swerved quickly and raced to be behind Lo’ak once more, being a lookout for them.
“Y/N, Lo’ak, do you copy?” Jake breathlessly transmitted to his children as he scanned the air space for his two most reckless kids. Neytiri flew beside him shooting deathly arrows at sky people’s chests. “Y/N!”
“I am here, we are here.” Y/N logged on, but couldn’t say more as more guns were aimed at her and Lo’ak. Y/N, under her breath, groaned and yielded her bow to shoot at the opposing forces. A battle cry escaped her lips as her arrow planted itself in a soldier’s face. And another. Another. Another. Until no more pellets could be heard fired at Y/N and Lo’ak. Y/N breathed heavily and called for her Ikran to go faster. Her bones were already dully aching again.
“Head to base, our work is done here.” Jake spoke over the comms. Lo’ak and Y/N shared a glance before swooping to fly toward High Camp. Neteyam caught up to them as they landed inside the alcove. Jake and Neytiri checked their three children for any marks and found only small ones.
“My child, I saw you. You were brilliant.” Neytiri praised her daughter who flushed from the compliment. Y/N couldn’t believe it herself since she felt so numb recently.
“I mean they were shooting at us.” Y/N justified and shrugged off her mother’s words. “I am going to spend time with grandmother.”
The four warriors of the Sully family were left standing, not knowing exactly what happened. Neteyam shot Lo’ak a look, and Lo’ak only raised a brow inquisitively. Jake studied his two sons.
“Did someone touch her?” Jake asked Lo’ak. “Like lay a hand on her, got too close.”
“No, we were in the sky.” Lo’ak explained, and Jake stared at the healer tent Y/N ventured into. “Maybe she’s just off, I am sure she’ll be better by tonight.”
Neytiri nodded at her youngest son, “Yes, Ma Jake, it will all be well.” Neytiri kissed his shoulder before walking into the healer tent, too.
——
Y/N felt heavy, like a boulder stuck in between two mountains, waiting to drop and crack everywhere. Not only was there guilt building up inside of her, but her body felt immobile sometimes, like her legs were stone. She couldn’t tell her family because they wouldn’t know how to help her. So, she kept quiet and hoped it would pass.
“Why don’t you come hunt with me?” Neteyam inquired to his sister. Y/N’s body was having a particularly difficult day, and she could barely shift to look at him without wanting to grunt in pain. Neteyam noted the grimace on Y/N’s face and became concerned. “What is wrong?”
“Nothing, Nete, I am fine.” Y/N stiffly stood and walked out of the tent in search of her Ikran, so she could fly away. Neteyam, like before, was left to decipher what just happened. He saw her struggle with getting up and leaving, and Neteyam knew he had to tell someone.
Neteyam spotted his mother by Kiri in the healer’s tent and decided to go to her. Neytiri waited with open arms for her son as he walked straight into them. “I fear there is something wrong with Y/N.”
Neytiri glimpsed down at Neteyam, and a frown overcomes her face, “What do you mean, my child?” She pushed his braids behind his ears.
“She seemed in pain when she was standing up and walking away.” Neteyam told her. Neytiri sighed and looked to Kiri who merely made an awkward smile and lifted her arms in a shruggish manner. “I think you or Dad should talk to her.”
“Yes, thank you.” Neytiri’s kissed her son’s cheek before leaving to find her mate. Jake was leading a small group of hunters through a training course right outside the camp, but he stopped once he saw Neytiri’s urgent expression. He legged over to her and took her face into his hands gently.
“What is it?” Jake said, a little words about what his mate might say.
“Neteyam says Y/N is in pain.” Neytiri answered in a hushed tone. “Struggling physically.”
Jake looked bewildered at this news and shot Neytiri a confused glance. “Where is she?”
“I don’t know.” Neytiri admitted before the both of them were sprinting to their Ikran and mounting the beasts. The two investigated the whole of the floating mountains with no luck in finding their eldest daughter. The next place they looked was the Tree of Souls, and Neytiri could hear a voice from below and knew that was Y/N.
The parents creeped up, trying not to spook their daughter or any other creature nearby. Neytiri and Jake could now hear what Y/N was exactly saying, or praying actually.
“Please, Eywa, I am tired. Show me something, anything to help me. I am so, so tired.” A sob ripped from Y/N’s throat at the end of her prayer. Y/N curled into a ball at the base of the tree and tried find the comfort of Eywa in the roots. Her cries upset Jake and Neytiri deeply because they wanted to help her. “Eywa, please.”
“My daughter, tell me what is wrong.” Neytiri finally whispered and approached Y/N silently. Y/N raised her gaze to her mother, and more tears fell from her yellow eyes. “Oh, my baby.” Neytiri coddled Y/N in her arms, despite Y/N wailing from the discomfort it brought upon her bones. “Y/N, Y/N, please, tell me.”
“I am hurting.” Y/N stuttered out through her cries. Jake sat down on the root next to his mate and daughter. “I feel heavy.”
“What’s hurting?” Jake placed a hand on Y/N’s neck. Y/N fell into her Dad’s embrace with Neytiri still latched on. “Come on, baby.”
“Everything, all the time.” Her ears were flat against her head when she whimpered that to her father. “I ache.”
“My baby.” Jake breathlessly huffed, and Y/N was folded into his side completely after that. “We can help you, Norm can examine you.”
“No, no, no, no, that is only part of it. I am sick, my mind, it won’t go away.” Y/N angrily wailed, and Neytiri shushed her with a gentle rub of the arm. “The voices are just there, they won’t go away. Make them go away!” Neytiri couldn’t watch as her daughter broke down in front of her so vulnerably, yet so brave. “Dad, I want my mind gone.”
“Hey, we can help you with that, too.” Jake mumbled and softly elevated Y/N’s head out of his chest, so they could be eye to eye. “We will help you. You are not alone. Not anymore.”
“Ok.” Was Y/N’s broken response. Y/N fell asleep after awhile of her parents lulling her into a peaceful state. Jake carried to his Ikran and rode home with her nestled into his body. Once home, their other children were up and concerned for their sister. Everyone peered as Y/N and her father laid on the mat, and Neytiri sidling up beside her mate to provide extra support.
The other kids joined the three and dispersed themselves among the dog pile, making sure not to wake the sleeping Y/N. Jake stroked Y/N’s hair and knew she was different, and that he would help his daughter any way he could. Always.

aali my beloved would you be willing to share some more thots regarding domineering consent-king-kiri,,,no pressure at all I am just delighted by the concept!! If nothing else I am holding your hand making microwave noises because this tickles my brain muah
☆༉ — EIJIROU KIRISHIMA. consent and condescension.
Tumblr media
about. your wish is my command beautiful anon. this is definitely yuzuya adjacent LDKAKS !!
warnings. minors, blank and ageless blogs do not interact. smut, praise kink, consent heavy, condescension, scratching, afab!reader, soft dom/pro hero!kirishima.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“i only want to do this if it’s something you want.” kirishima says, his voice so quiet that it’s barely above a whisper. there’s a huskiness to it, as though he’s been holding back for so long that his tether and tie to sanity threatens to snap. the very simple fact makes a shiver run down your spine and shoot right between your legs.
kirishima let’s put a condescending coo as he shifts to sit with you on the bed, prying apart your shaky thighs to catch a whiff of your hot cunt, a view of how juices run between your folds like golden syrup that makes you shine. you’re eijirou kirishima’s favourite sweet treat.
“poor baby, if i hadn’t come any sooner, who knows what would have happened to you.” his voice drips to lower tones that turn on the sex signals in your brain — and as you whine out for more, the corner of the red head’s lips quirk up into a sly smile.
“all alone and unable to cum. well, don’t you worry. i’ve got you now.” you see, he knows you better than you know yourself. that you can’t get off without his thick fingers or his fat cock, and how frustrated you get when you can’t touch yourself in the same way that he does.
that’s why you called him at work, with a wobble in your saccharine voice and squelch from your cunt echoing down the line. you need eijirou.
you hardly notice how fast he strips, too dizzy and needy to speak your mind or even think. your level of desire to be fucked dumb by your man overpowers any logical reasoning you may have. taking hold of the globes of your ass, the mountainous man drags you towards him, pressing right up against your throbbing mound — looking down at you as if you’re the most beautiful, pathetic thing he’s ever seen.
you’ve not a clue as to how much you affect eijirou, with your big wet eyes and shaky hips as you rut into him for any kind of friction. he wants to ruin you and cherish you all at once, fighting with the two halves of him that join together and make him the person that he is. the hero that protects people, the man who loves you, the other that has such depraved thoughts about you. his sweet little thing.
“i’ve been dying to take you since the moment you called, fuck you against your cute little sheets, have your adorable ankles and frilly socks hangin’ over my shoulders….” eijirou’s next move is to tease your wet little slit, tapping his milky cockhead against your swollen clit repeatedly until you’re jolting and twitching from the slight streams of pleasure. “is it okay for me to touch you like this? i really want to but… your needs always come first to me.”
the question is masked with a patronising kindness in an attempt to hide the red head’s deepest and darkest dreams. if he truly wanted to, kirishima could have plugged your hole full of his monster-like girth and fucked you until that tight, unused hole of yours was coated in his cum. yet, he treats you (the object of his affections and desires), as though you’re a porcelain doll threatening to shatter under the weight of his touch.
the cracks begin to show and the dam begins to break. your pretty face crumples with ecstasy while eijirou pushes his length through your slick pussy, laughing breathily at your arousal that clings to every spiralling blue vein that decorated his shaft. it jumps against the pleasure bud tucked away between your folds.
you sniffle and his heart breaks for you. it does nothing to calm the flames of desire burning at eijirou’s healthy lungs — blackening them.
“e-eiji—!”
“‘m gonna put it in now, i know, i know, sweetheart. i gotta hurry it up,” he starts, tutting down at you and your clenching cunt as he hits his hips forward — pushing his bulbous tip past the tight ring of muscle at your entrance. “you’ve been so good, sweetheart. waiting for me to get home, so you could get fucked — i just don’t wanna hurt you.”
he brushes the pads of his thumbs over your body trembling beneath him. over your pebbling nipples, so hard they could cut diamonds because of the cold air. over your curves, your tummy and navel — every perfectly imperfect part of you. and when he reaches your thighs, they’re folded into your chest so he can give you exactly what you want.
“oh, little one. you’re so tight, and warm around me. fuck.” eijirou is the one who hiccups this time, gripping the sheets above your head while your warm, ribbed walls grip his cock the further he pushes into you.  “so soft too, i can’t get enough of you. got me thinkin’ about you all the time.”
he starts thrusting then, forceful but fluid like a rushing river of ecstasy. eijirou pins you to the bed below, giving you no room to wiggle away and the only option being to take everything that he gives to you. his balls clapping against the curve of your ass, his harsh moans in your ear and tip bullying your g-spot before you can even register the sensation blooming in your lower tummy. there’s no room to breathe or think while he fucks you. like he hates you, all while loving you.
“i love your pretty face. how it looks when you take me. the way your brows furrow and your soft lips part when you moan for me. can you take it? just a little more for me.” the surge of praise you receive from eijirou is like a storm that angrily hits the shore. you feel like you’re drowning, clawing at his back to drag yourself to shore while he pounds you to the high heavens. your body jolts up the bed at every one of eijrou’s thrusts — contrasting with the gentle, wet kisses he peppers across your face.
each sweet word dipped in white sugar has you pliant and mailable under kirishima like freshly made candy. he praises you and your hips rise from the arousal soaked sheets to match his rhythm, sex spasming around him. “holy fucking shit. oh little one…so sweet and wet, hm? so pliant.” eijirou leans over you, shielding you from the world, and  liick at your neck, humming in satisfaction at your whistle tone moans. “you were just aching for me to get you like this, right little one? your knees pressed to your chest and my cock…nice and snug against your insides. you don’t wanna let me go, do you?”
you promptly shake your head, your pretty bambi eyes fluttering shut while your body thrashes and shakes from the pleasure he feeds you — piece by piece.. “e-eiji…p-please, i need it. i c-can’t—!”
the red head squishes your cheeks together, grunting impatiently and pressing on until his cock is pressing comfortably against your womb. “oh you poor baby, i need to give it to you just as bad as you want it… but,” the rough pads of his fingers sink into your supple cheeks as he turns your face to look at him. “i need you to look at me first. look me in the eye, sweetheart. show me how badly you want it. you’re so pretty when you do it like that, you know.”
a wet whimper bubbles up on your lips, cherry bitten from where they’ve been caught between your teeth. they echo between your sweet slicked bodies and mingle with the saccharine syllables of kirishima’s words, as condescending as they might be. that with his domineering presence and constant stimulation of all your pleasure spots has you a ruined mess beneath him.
“i’m gonna make you cum. i have to make you cum, if it’s the last thing i do, little one.” eijirou promised lazily, circling his hips in a slow grind just he can drag out your pleasure for a little bit longer — torture you underneath him so he can keep on seeing your pretty face. he seals the promise with a sloppy kiss, sucking on your saliva soaked tongue until you’re begging him for air. “you want that too, right?”

You're dead to me [11]
Dad!Jake Sully x human!daughter!reader
Tumblr media
In which Jake Sully leaves his life on earth to settle down with the Omatikaya people as Toruk Makto. Having a family that consists of four kids with Neytiri, everything seems to work out just fine, but what if the past comes back for him? And his babygirl is right there in front of him?
A/N: at last, I'm back. It's been a while since I looked back at an "x reader" this satisfied. I'm still trying my best getting back into writing frequently, so I'm still looking and stuff. Either way, enjoy and tell me when you think. <3
previous part
next part
Drip. Tap. Crack.
A killing silence filled the room. Your siblings had left the space, as well as Norm, leaving you alone in the (dis)comfort of your father's presence. His breath was heavy as he lied there, on the operating table. Elbows resting behind him, keeping his body up. You sat next to him in one of those uncomfortable folding chairs. The ones you sat on during birthday parties, when it was too crowdy and the usual seats were occupied. You didn't know what you thought when you has begged Neteyam to bring you here, no plan on mind other than knowing your father was fine.
Drip. Tap. Crack.
The silence was deafening.
Killing you inside. Slowly.
"I didn't know what I would have done if you..." his voice was hoarse as he spoke. Which was understandable, coming from someone risen from the death. You scoff under your breathe, shaking your head in the progress as you knew the end of his sentence.
"You... you were the one that.. you..", you had a hard time forming that sentence, so you just settled on the most obvious one, hoping that the conversation could from out of it.
"why did you do it?"
A stupid question in Jake's eyes. What did you mean why? Why he protected you? Wasn't it obvious why he did so?
"I'm your father."
You scoffed again. One that held more grudge into the tone, "You're also their father."
And the conversation you hoped to start, had started. A conversation that was inevitable. A conversation that was needed in order to maintain a healthy relationship among a family. A conversation only you could start and hope to end well.
He didn't answer your comment, keeing his mouth sealed and watching you from the operation table, a side eye. Not a judging expression, but one that held shame. As if deep down he knew what you meant.
"You have been treating your children so.. horribly. The pressure on Neteyam, the punishments for Lo'ak, no attention flashed to Tuk and Kiri is basically a ghost. And then I come along, after not seeing me for two decades and you treat me like your only daughter? Do you know how that makes them feel? How that makes ME feel?"
You gasp for air as the words leave your lips in one sentence. During this, you watch your father's expression. His gaze was now on his lap. Ashamed of himself. Tommy's words already made him realize how he had been acting, but hearing them from a living person, hearing them from you, was so much different. So much more realistic than talking to a dead person in his head.
"You threw your kids even more to the side when I entered the picture. It made me feel so cruel, as if I stole their father away. Since I had missed that father figure as much as they do. The only person that had a father figure was Tuk and it was Neteyam. God dad, he's only fifteen! He should be a kid, not a father figure to his own sister!"
That cracked his heart, but you didn't care for the moment. You had to make him realize what kind of person he became. Only then, when that realization settled in, could all of you heal and continue forward.
"Neteyam is fifteen.. do you know how young that is? That would be highschool on earth! And even if Na'vi age works differently, he's still a boy! He should be growing up properly, have free time and hang out with teenagers his age. He shouldn't be babysitting 24/7 while still being a kid himself, that's your job. He should be your son first, and the future Olo'eyktan second."
Your eyes had teared up once again at the sight of Neteyam's hurt, his exhaustion, the smile that quite didn't reach his eyes.
You continued.
"You're so terribly hard on Lo'ak. He's reckless, always causing trouble which makes him the center of attention." You chuckled soft at your own words, "but have you ever wondered why he acts this way? Have you EVER went up to him, put your arm around his shoulders and asked if he was alright? Instead of always cutting him off? You spend so much time doing other stuff and when you turn to Lo'ak it's for punishng him. He just wants your attention, as his father. Do you know how damaging it is that he accepts that he could only grab your attention by doing stupid stuff?"
No, you weren't done yet.
"Tuk and Kiri. Such beautiful girls with kind hearts. Smart too, they know what they want. Do you know how they like to spend their free time?"
You tilted your head to the side, pursed lips as you awaited his answer. That never came and it only showed your words right. It honestly made you scoff in embarrassment.
"And after treating all your beautiful children like crap, you took me in like I was the only person in the world. You cared for me, set your attention on me and you thought that was right?"
You slowly got up from your, shaking your head furiously, "if this is the way you're going to parent... then I don't even want to call you my dad."
"I hate you papa!!" You sobbed loudly as you hugged your knees to your chest, soft whines leaving your lips with snot dripping down your nose. Your father hadn't been paying attention to you in a week. You were a very independent child. You could make yourself cereals and a cup of lemonade, but you needed that emotional connection. Something you hadn't gotten from anyone in days. He had been stressed, spending his hours with his nose buried in the screen and drinking away during his free time. You understood he was busy, but he had a full child at home, in need of attention. Without the proper attention you needed, you had thrown your tantrums. Throwing pillows, ripping folders and trying to empty the loads of vodka bottles in the cupboards. He had tried to ignore those silly tantrums of yours, just assuming it was because you're young. Yet when you emptied a bottle of alcohol on the floor, because you missed the sink with your tiny short legs, hell broke lose. He had screamed at you and grabbed harshly at your forearms, something he promised himself to never do to you. When he let go of you out of the horror of his own reaction, you had crawled to a corner out of fear, crying your heart out as the words escaped your lips. 'I hate you, daddy.' The words echoed through his head, like a taunt of how bad of a father he had been to you for the past days. His hand rested on the wheels of his wheelchair as he made his way towards you, slowly yet steadily. You had sobbed that you wanted him to stay away, since he was good at that up until a moment ago.
"I'm so sorry baby.." he took you in his arms, on his lap despite your punching and screaming. He held you, hugging you close, allowing you to punch and scream your frustrations out. It seemed to help, as your sobs slowed down, as well as your aggressive punching. With you cuddled up in his lap, he rolled towards the kitchen and took his two biggest bottles of alcohol in his hands. He nudged you and you looked up at him, a clear frown on your face as you saw him holding the familiar bottles. Your father smiled at you, uncapping the bottles and emptying its contents into the sink. You watched him, loud squeals leaving your lips as you smacked at the bottle while he did so. You didn't know what alcohol was, but you knew that when your daddy touched it, he wasn't your daddy anymore.
"Missed daddy.."
"I missed you too baby.. I'm sorry."
"I'm sorry, for everything." Parallels. Ironic. Your father had grabbed your hand, keeping you from walking (crawling due to your injuries) away. The words left his lips with a hitch, a soft breath that was stuck in his throat. You turn your head at his words, wondering if you heard them well. Jake had pulled you towards him, sitting on the same table as him.
"I'm sorry." His words were firm now, determined, laced with confidence. "I'm sorry for leaving you. I'm sorry for putting you in a tough position on Pandora. I'm sorry for being unfair to the family I called my fortress. I'm sorry for tearing this family apart. I'm sorry for letting you down during your entire life." He didn't know what he wanted to reach with his apologies, but the moment they left his lips it felt as if a weight lifted from his chest. As if he could talk about it all now, with you.
"I wanted the best for us two, I wanted you to grow up well, without problems. Get into the besr schools, a job to live comfortably without worrying about money.. but I needed money to fulfill this wish. So I left. I left for a job that could pay for everything you needed. I left with the promise I would return, but I-"
"But you didn't." You cut him off, lips quivering as the tears continued to pool, "you forgot about the promise and left me alone."
He shook his head in response, "I didn't forget, oh eywa, I could never. I was.. ashamed? I went against my biological people and I didn't get money I promised to get you. I failed as a dad, I thought I didn't deserve to see you anymore.. so I stayed. I stayed and it was wrong of me to do so." His hand made their way to your wrists as he pulled you close to him, hugging you tight as if you would disappear were he to let you go.
"I now see how wrong this was of me. I should have asked you about it. What you thought, what you wanted. You were so young, yet you knew exactly what you wanted. I should have remembered how smart of a girl you were and still are. It was wrong of me to make that decision on my own."
It all came crashing down on you. All of a sudden, you were a clueless child again. That same clueless child from over a decade ago. The same child that cried to her hearts content as she came to know that her daddy left her without an explanation and didn't return. You cried at his chest, clawing at his blue skin as he craddled you like a baby. His baby, his daughter.
"It must have been confusing for you, suddenly being on a new planet and your dad unrecognizable to you. Then suddenly he pulls you in once he knows who you are to him, never directly speaking about everything that had happened.." there was no point in apologizing anymore. He could only understand, learn and be a better father for you. Only through his actions, he could apologize truthfully.
It was quiet for a while. A comfortable silence. Not the killing, awkward silence that filled the room not so long ago. The only thing heard were your soft sobs, as well as the soft kisses of reassurance that were pressed against your hair. Jake was loss in thoughts, wondering what he should say next. He knew he had to start about what you had said, about your siblings, about his kids.
But where could he possibly start?
He didn't want to fuck up again. He had to think carefully of what to say next.
"What about Teyam, Lo'ak, Kiri, Tuk?" Your voice cracked, hurt laced in your voice as you spoke. The mention of their names cracking something within Jake.
"They..." he took a deep breath, before continuing, "I projected my fears on them. I never got to fulfill the dreams I had for you and I projected that on Neteyam. He has an amazing future ahead of him, but I let my fears consume me. He's so talented, but he's incredibly young and he's missing out on his childhood. Him having fun won't change the way he acts. He has always been intelligent and very thoughtful."
You nodded your head in agreement and he could feel it against his skin. "Teyam's incredible, but he deserves a breather from time to time. I promise you, he won't slack off."
With that, Jake had to agree.
"Lo'ak.. reminds me of myself. Reckless, a headless chicken even." The both of you chuckle at that statement and Jake looked back at his first year on Pandora. He was reckless, stupid, embarassing.
"I see myself in him. Like someone chasing you in a dream, but you can't get away. It reminded me of my past mistakes, so I punished him in the hopes to witness his improvements. I never looked at it from a bigger perspective. He must have wondered why his dad treated him like shit.." he huffed at the irony of it all.
"Speak to him, spend time with him. Teach him the things you teach Teyam. Believe me, you will notice improvements in your relationship."
He nodded in agreement at your words.
"Kiri, Tuktirey. My beautiful girls.. I don't know why I barely bat an eye to them. Could it be because it reminded me of you? That it hurt to spend time with them out of shame for how I treated you? Or because I was too busy with my role as Olo'eyktan? I don't know, but it wasn't right of me. They don't deserve that treatment of being disregarded."
You smile at him, your father. Proud for finally speaking his heart out. "You should tell them, you know? Speak with them. Make things right. I know confronting the problem at hand might be hard, but you're the leader of an entire clan. This is supposed to be easy for you." You almost teased him for having an easier time being the leader of a clan while at war than being a father to a family.
He then gripped at your forearms. It wasn't a hard grip, more out of desperation. "I will make it right. Not only for you, but for my kids and mate, as well. I want to make it right with my family, so please, stay as well. Even if this might be a selfish request of me. You are my daughter, OUR daughter. And you have four siblings that accepted you faster than ever. So please, stay."
You bit down on your bottom lip. You didn't have much left on earth, expect the colonel. Would she be angry with you if you decided to stay? Just like you were angry with your dad? Or would she be proud that you had finally found the happiness you deserved?
Was it okay for you to be selfish?
A frown made its way on your voice as you look up at him, "but I don't belong here. I'm a human."
Did you yourself even believe that statement? There were a lot of humans left on Pandora, whom even lived among the people.
"You're just trying to convince yourself that you don't belong here so that you won't feel guilty." You scoffed. He could read you like a book.
"You belong here, with us. You know?"
You didn't reply. Instead, you wrapped your arms around father, squeezing the life out of him. Who would have known that such a small girl like you could hold him so tightly?
"Babygirl.. honey.." Jake gasped for air, his arms stuck in your tight embrace as he couldn't reach for his mask. You quickly pull away from him, watching him take a hold of the mask at his bedside and taking a deep whiff of Pandoran air.
You watch the entire ordeal in low chuckles.
Everything would be better now.
It has to be.

in sickness and in health
⊱✿⊰ ⊱✿⊰ ⊱✿⊰ ⊱✿⊰ ⊱✿⊰ ⊱✿⊰ ⊱✿⊰ ⊱✿⊰ ⊱✿⊰ ⊱✿⊰
a sharp jolt of pain surges through your abdomen, forcing you awake as you sit up, wincing. you gently place your hand on your lower stomach, feeling strong kicks right where your hand is placed. you begin to take short, shallow breaths, as another kick lands just below your ribcage.
your mouth begins to salivate as you grab the pot closest to you. you knew the feeling all too well. it’s been happening every morning for the past several months. sweat beads on your forehead, collecting and dripping down your face, while your entire body feels like it’s overheating. that familiar feeling returns to the back of your throat, causing you to gag. you begin dry heaving, which turns into vomiting everything you consumed the night prior.
meanwhile, neteyam is just outside of your marui, peeking through the flap every now and then to keep an eye on you. truthfully, he’s been worried sick about you, especially these past few months. you both are familiar with all the symptoms of pregnancy. you’ve been pregnant four times now. but it’s never been this bad. so, he decided to give neytiri a page through his throat comm, hoping she might have some answers to your worsening symptoms.
“mother, is this normal?…yes, she’s still getting sick. it’s every morning, i thought you said that would stop. i don’t know what to do, how to help her…i feel so useless. i just want to ease her pain, please…” his voice cracks with his last beg. “please help me help h-” his ears perk up to the sound of you vomiting. “i must go. it is happening again. please send grandmother!”
neteyam quickly opens the flap, seeing you doubled over, emptying the contents of your stomach into the pot he set aside for you. guilt courses through him, settling like a rock in the bottom of his stomach as he hastily makes his way to you.
you feel your mate’s warm hand run along your back, attempting to comfort you while his other hand holds the braids out of your face. once you’re certain you’ve thrown up everything in your system, you sit back against the wall of your home.
neteyam goes to move the pot outside, as to not make you more nauseous. he grabs a bowl of water as he makes his way back to you, guilt clawing at his insides.
you slightly pull your knees to your chest, as best as you can with being pregnant, and bury your face in your arms, sobbing.
neteyam kneels beside you, gently placing a hand on your shoulder. it broke his heart in two seeing you like this.
just then, you hear the flap to your marui open, revealing your four children, with jake, neytiri, and mo’at. neteyam looks up, glaring at his mother and father, speaking through gritted teeth. “i thought you weren’t supposed to be back for a few more hours.”
“yeah, we weren’t expecting this either. it’s an emergency, we gotta go.” jake quickly says, holding the flap open.
“what? dad-sir…i’m not leaving her!” neteyam begins to raise his voice, fist clenched at his side as his other hand is still rubbing your back.
“neteyam.” neytiri gently says. “we would not ask if it was not necessary.”
you give your mate’s arm a gentle squeeze, silently encouraging him to go. “it is all right,” you speak, your voice extremely hoarse. “grandmother is here, i’ll be okay.”
“we gotta go, now!” jake’s yelling now, and neteyam stands, quickly grabbing his bow before kneeling to kiss your forehead. “i love you. i’m so sorry, i’ll be back soon, okay?”
Neteyam turns one last time to lock eyes with you, before being yanked away by his parents.
“mama? where’s daddy going?” se’ayl asks, looking at the flap where her grandparents and father just exited.
i want to go with him!” tsantu states, a firm grip on the bow strung around his shoulder.
“mom, i’m tired.” txonuk yawns, stretching his arms above his head and curling up to your side.
nima gently stretches her hands over your protruding stomach, shifting them around a few inches. “wanna feel kicks!”
“children, please!” mo’at exclaims. “let your mother rest.” she begins taking out herbs and plants from her satchel, mixing them with water in a large bowl.
“it’s all right…” you say weakly. “daddy’s going hunting with grandma and grandpa, he’ll be back soon. you can’t go with him, it’s only a trip for adults. you know what, txonuk? mama’s sleepy too. how about we all lay down for a nap, and when we wake up, grandpa grandma and daddy will all be back!”
you shift forward slightly, so your head is resting on your pillow instead of your back. txonuk curls right up to your side, draping your arm over himself like a blanket. se’ayl and tsantu follow, laying beside you comfortably. nima rests her head on your stomach, ear perked up against your skin to “listen” to the baby. mo’at raises the bowl she’s been preparing to your lips. “drink, child. it will help with the nausea.”
you lift your head up, parting your lips just enough for the cool liquid to ease its way down your throat. “thank you, grandmother.”
mo’at nods, setting the bowl aside. “you may rest, i will keep watch until they return.”
“no, no…i can………..stay……………….awake…….” your eyelids droop with exhaustion as you speak, and as you speak your last word, they stay closed. you finally succumb to a comfortable sleep, as you wait for your mate to return.

Tumblr media Tumblr media
⭒ hate is a strong word. neteyam has never felt hatred before, it is a feeling that is easy to confuse with another–another many want to feel, to believe in
⭒ its the faces he makes when he sees you, the feeling in his chest–it tightens and burns. his eyes sharp and piercing as if it could cut through you.
⭒ you giggle and laugh, your coral blue and wide eyes, the skin of your face folds as your laughter echoes through his skin. hair as wild as the outer reef, flowing in the rough winds. all of that, changes into a twisted arrogance.
⭒ you didn't do anything when ao'nung and his friends went up to kiri. merely a bystander. you'd roll your eyes and kick the sand, hoping it was over quickly to get on with your day.
⭒ lo'ak couldn't help it, he had to stand up for her. and that made neteyam step in.
"back off," neteyam's fingers press into ao'nung's chest, "now."
ao'nung makes a move to back off, trying to get his friends to go with. neteyam's eyes catch a glimpse of you, scoffing and rolling your eyes again. lips between your teeth, your eyes staring at him with a cocky expression–you wiggled your brows, mocking him–holding up a finger mouthing his words.
⭒ lo'ak showed ao'nung the cool thing his fingers could do, it ends in a brawl that neteyam had to join. he wasn't going to standby and watch his baby bro get beaten by a group of bullies.
⭒ you stand by kiri, watching boys beat eachother up–yanking tails and ears.
"you should do something." kiri says, shrugging her shoulders. her face couldn't hide the fact that she was enjoying it.
you sighed, "yea, probably."
you were older than a lot of them. the same age as neteyam and ao'nung, therefore bigger than most too. you stepped into the fight pulling off ao'nungs friends from lo'ak before your eyes fell onto neteyam on top of rotxo, completely wrecking him.
grunting you jump onto his back, tackling him over his head onto the ground. grabbing his wrists you attempt to pin him to the ground but of course, he's also strong. "get off me."
"no."
his head hits your lip, busting it open as you fell back–you could feel blood trailing off your face. you touch your lip, and curse, "fuck you." a fist in your hand, neteyam tries to stand but gets a heavy punch into the side of his face.
you jump into him, throwing another punch completely knocking the wind out of him. he drops to the ground on his back, his hands grabbing onto your wrists as your body falls atop of his–straddling him.
his eyes widened at the blood, smeared over your top lip and the crack, the plumped bruised split skin.
your hands grabbed at his necklace, the collar like leather–pulling him closer. "don't start a fight, you cannot finish, forest boy." with that, you shoved him back with a fuming look, leaving him in shock.
⭒ he didn't mean to hurt you obviously, somehow he felt really bad about it. as his father scolds lo'ak and practically is proud of him for leaving ao'nung and you much worse than him–physically. neteyam is much bigger than the both of you, it was a given.
⭒ it's the way during the first meal of the day he sees you, walking by him with your lip cut–blood dried but still bruised and swollen. his heart pumps seeing you, for whatever reason.
⭒ you were always estranged, cold since they came here. only really speaking to kiri, or tsireya–even with ao'nung you only seemed to follow him around. maybe you were dating or something.
⭒ he sneers at the thought of that.
⭒ it was when you came back on your ilu, over your back fish tied together as you've just been hunting with your usual friends. he makes a point to run into you, just to say something–anything.
"ouch," you hissed, glaring at him as he basically runs into you as if he was blind. "there is a lot of ground, why must you walk so close to me." you flinch from him as if you didn't want him to even graze you.
neteyam couldn't help but look away trying to hold back his grin. it was the way you walked with a heavy step, angrily, annoyed with his presence but still, seemed so cute and harmless. what is he thinking?
"sorry, look i just wanted to apologize for, uhm–your face."
you shrugged, not even meeting his eyes, "okay, sure." you're blunt. you don't even attempt to apologize for the bruises on his face, they're large and noticeable, the skin of his cheek raw and his neck had burn marks from how hard you pulled on his necklace.
⭒ why is it that he is always around, these couple days you've probably seen him way too many times. it was definitely not a coincidence anymore.
"what are you doing?"
he jumps, comes out form behind the coconut tree as ao'nung look over at the commotion and laughs seeing neteyam step out. he whispers things to his friends, you can't even overhear it.
"nothing."
you roll your eyes, looking back at ao'nung, "i'm going, got things to do. i'll see you later." walking past the stiffened forest boy your tail taps him on the way past. his head snaps towards you, noticing how you looked back at him ever so slightly as if giving him a hint.
⭒ he didn't realise there was a place this pretty, into the forest. it looks close to home, lakes and rivers run through–the trees were much shorter but the density of the forest gave him that warm feeling.
⭒ he should've really seen what you were doing, your eyes taking peaks at him. he can't see your expression, was it playful or mischievous. were you planning on taking him to his death?
⭒ night falls, the bioluminescence shines. his skin and yours freckled with bright lights.
his breathing gets heavier. you turn to him, hand out and all. he's reluctant, you can tell. "i'm not going to kill you, that would be a waste."
he didn't completely understand what you meant of course, but places his much larger hands in yours. the warmth of it embracing your own as you tightened your grip, pushing through the vegetation revealing a quiet pool of spring water.
you look back at him, your eyes. neteyam has never seen such a look, something different shifted in your eyes. you let him go, dropping towards the edge of the pool, before stepping in–the water reaches over your breast bone, covering half your chest.
your eyebrows quirked, motioning for him. neteyam chuckles, jumping in rather quickly, his hips are submerged in the water–mostly. he's much taller than you, much taller.
you swallowed, taking your bottom lip between your lips. "neteyam–"
"why do you hate me?"
your gaze softens, "i don't, i thought our rival was mutual, merely fun. am i wrong?"
he lets out an amused breath, closing the distance between you. getting comfortable you rest, dropping to your knees into the clear water as it reflects the beauty of the night sky, nature and him.
he was no doubt the prettiest boy you've ever seen.
"fun, you think this is fun?" his voice, deepens.
you hum, "i do, doesn't it feel fun, neteyam?"
as close as you got now, your breathing is heavy. his nose brushes against your own. his eyes are sharp, unwavering glued to yours. his fingers trickle upwards, feeling the soft skin on your arms, shoulder and neck. he takes your cheek in his hand, grasping the back of your neck with his fingers as he pulls you even closer, "–it is fun."
you gasp, lips pry apart, heart beating out of your chest. your palms rest on his chest, feeling the same soft vibrations in his chest, confirming your feelings were mutual.
"sorry about your cheek and neck," you spoke, eyes darting towards the marks.
neteyam gulps, eyes looking at the cut on your lip. he nods as the colours in his eyes darken, his lips part closing in the gap, "would this hurt?"
"i don't know–" you whispered, "we can find out." a breath was taken before it was stolen. his lips press boldly against your own. moulding and pressing roughly into you. his hands touch whatever skin he could find, resting on your hip pulling them against his own.
you crane your neck to deepen the kiss. it never started slow, it was hungry, lusting--devouring. you managed to only pull away for one breath before he takes you again, mercilessly. it's wet, you could feel the soreness on your lips but you didn't care. his taste was intoxicating, a sweet nectar that you were prohibited to have but manage to steal. a dirty secret, maybe that's why it felt so good.
his tail flicks under the water, wrapping itself around your leg. he finally pulls away, eyes heavy-lidded as your own. he sees your lip, the cut opened up–he winces slightly as he touches it gently, "sorry, i didn't mean to–"
"i like it–" you interrupt, pressing another kiss to his lips, "we should do it again, sometimes."

Anonymous Request: Can I request a fic of Neteyam and the reader getting into a fight and avoiding each other for a couple days, only for the reader to get into a pretty bad accident?
Neteyam is running so fast, he doesn’t feel the ground beneath his feet. His hair whips painfully at his cheeks, but he doesn’t notice. He hears his sister shouting after him, but it only barely registers.
He has one singular thought. One driving motivation. You. Getting to you. Making sure you’re okay. Apologizing for even momentarily acting as if his world does not revolve around you.
He prays he isn’t too late.
2 Days Before the Accident
"You think that I told Ma'rek that I want to be his mate?"
Your mother hangs open, your chin pointed downwards, and you widen your eyes at Neteyam, who stands before you, furious.
"I heard you say it!"
Leaning back, you cross your arms across your chest and scowl at him. "Tell me what you heard, then."
Neteyam crosses his arms, mirroring you, and scowls back. "You told Ma'rek he would make a fine mate, that you'd be honored to have him."
You throw your hands in the air. "You idiot! Ma'rek was just rejected again, I was just trying to make him feel better. I don't actually want to be his mate."
"Well, he's going around telling everyone that you do!"
The rage that rises in your chest is overwhelming, just for a moment. This is what you get for being kind, you get someone lying about you and the man you actually want to mate with believing it.
"If you think that's true, Neteyam, then I don't think we know each other as well as we thought."
He takes a step back, his arms falling down to his side, and his glare does not ease up.
"Maybe not."
You turn, and take off before he can see you cry.
Just Before the Accident
Your all-consuming, painful, burning hot rage has simmered down into mere annoyance, and been mostly overtaken by overwhelming sadness.
It's hard to believe that Neteyam would believe you could have eyes for anyone but him. You have spent your lives together, you have only ever loved one man, and you've told him as much.
You're starting to wonder if maybe, Neteyam doesn't care for you like he thought. Maybe this thing with Ma'rek was just an excuse for him to get out of your courtship, to mate with someone else. Possibly, he's grown tired of you and didn't know how to say it.
After all, he hasn't asked you to be his, not formally. A kiss here and a tight grasp on your hand there hardly indicates a lifelong commitment, and what is he waiting for, anyway? You're nearly 22 years old now. Why not commit or move on?
He hasn't spoken to you since the fight, and even though most of you hopes you will come through this, part of you thinks this could be the end.
You are distracted with these thoughts as you hunt, and it takes just one misstep for you to tumble off of the tree branch you're racing down.
Your body slams into the tree branch below, and all of the air is forced out of your body in a painful huff. The knife you held in your hand cuts you, right in your abdomen, and you roll off of that branch onto the next, and then onto the ground.
With the final fall, you hear a sickening crack, and there is a searing pain in your arm.
"Y/N!" your hunting partner screams from above, but you are fading already. She scarcely has time to reach you before you are gone.
After the Accident
Inside of his, her hand looks so small and delicate. There are scrapes on the back of her hand, and he turns it over to look at her palm. It's dirty, he notices, so he picks up a nearby cloth and gently removes the dirt.
Looking over her - she's dirty everywhere. Though her broken arm and wide gash on her stomach have been healed, she has not been cleaned.
He turns to Kiri, and tells her to go get some warm water and a cloth. Kiri is gone in a flash. Neteyam looks over Y/N as she lays there. Kiri said she would be okay, and he trusts Kiri, but she doesn't look okay.
Not an inch of her doesn't have a bruise or a cut. She lost a lot of blood, and they aren't sure how her arm will function once she recovers - but he knows no one should underestimate her.
Kiri returns, leaving the water and cloth and taking off again after giving Neteyam a reassuring hug.
Meticulously, Neteyam cleans Y/N, gently removing all of the dirt and debris that she collected in her fall. Once her skin is clean, he removes the leaves and dirt from her long braided hair, as best as he can.
All the while, he hates himself for doubting her. He knew Ma'rek was lying, deep down, but he was so scared... and he had been so scared, for nearly two years, to ask her to be his mate.
Now, he can't remember why. If she would just open her eyes now, he would ask.
--
Fingers are running through my hair. That's the first sensation I feel as I regain consciousness.
It is much more pleasant than the sensations that follow. I am sore, over every single part of my body. My arm throbs, and there is a burning pain in my stomach.
A groan involuntarily escapes my lips, and I turn my head to the side. I reach for my stomach with my arm that doesn't hurt, but someone stops me, taking my hand in theirs.
I open my eyes with much effort, and see Neteyam leaning over me.
"Here. Kiri said this would help." He holds up a cup, and puts one hand behind my neck, gently lifting my head so I can drink the warm, bitter liquid inside.
The effect is almost instant in the way it calms me, and I sigh as I lay back down.
"What happened?" I ask.
"I was going to ask you," Neteyam replies. "You fell. Hard."
It comes back to you slowly. Your distraction. How you tripped. The two branches that broke your body before you hit the ground. You wince.
"Really hard. Everything hurts, Neteyam."
"Your knife cut your stomach, and you broke your arm. You're going to make a full recovery, but you need to rest."
You wince, sucking in a sharp breath. "Are you still mad at me?"
A laugh escapes Neteyam's lips, and you glare at him. "I'm sorry - but that's what you're worried about?"
"Yes."
"I'm not mad at you. I never should have been. I love you, Y/N, and I want you to be my mate."
Well, he's picked an opportune time to finally admit it.
"Are you sure?" you ask.
Neteyam's eyes are soft, but you notice the dark circles underneath of them. You wonder how long you've been asleep, and whether he's been here the entire time.
He reaches out, pushing your hair out of your face, and his fingers linger on your cheek.
"I have always been sure. I was just... scared. That you would say no, or that I wouldn't be enough for you. But I thought you were going to die, Y/N, when I first saw you. And I would rather die myself. Life would not be worth living without you."
He leans down, his face hovering just above mine, waiting for permission.
"I love you, Neteyam. Of course, I'll be yours."
The kiss is gentle, because it has to be. Even your lips are cut and bruised. But when he pulls away, he takes a little of your pain and sadness with him.
All will be well.

Hi there, I was wondering if I could request a cute comfort story for Kiribaku x reader. The reader having a small dehydration headache and goes on a patrol with the boys only for it to get way bad and the pass out of them. when they wake up in their bed a worried Kiri and baku are extremely worried about them ^^ Or you can just have fun writing what every you want ^^ you enjoy yourself!
omg yes!! thank you for the suggestion!
Fragile: Handle with Care
『♡』  kiribaku x fem!reader ⇢ reader is on a pro-hero patrol shift with kirishima and bakugo when they end up passing out from a headache and collapsing.
꒰ pro-hero au | aged to 20 | poly relationship (bf/gf/bf) ꒱ tags & warnings: no cw other than cursing (bakugo lol) and mentions of medication | fluff, emotional & physical comfort, reader passes out, protective kiribaku -`✧ katsuki bakugo masterlist | kirishima eijiro masterlist
“C’mon, we’re gonna be late!”
Bakugo and Kirishima waited for you in the living room of your shared apartment, the sounds of Bakugo’s boots tapping against the wooden floor like a pissed off rabbit. You're skipping down the hall, bouncing to slip into your hero gear quickly as your rounding to the entryway to find your boots. Kirishima laughs under his breath while you stumble along, hurriedly trying to make it to your joint patrol shift on time.
"Don't forget your meds, idiot," Bakugo reminds you as he's heading toward the door, smacking you playfully on the ass. Thankfully, Kirishima's right behind you with a glass of water and pills in hand.
"Thanks Ei," you say as you take the medication and chase it with the water. The three of you are out the door and on your way to the agency, making it just in time for the start of your shift.
───
A few hours into your patrol, you and the boys are leisurely strolling through different sections of your assigned district, covering the large area by splitting up individually. It was the middle of summer and the city was boiling hot, the humidity fogging up your senses more than usual. Your stomach rumbled, a rude reminder that you forgot to eat breakfast this morning. You’d slept in too long and needed to rush out the door and let it slip your mind. The boys hadn’t noticed and couldn’t harp on you about it, so you downplayed how dizzy you’ve been feeling all day long. There was only an hour and a half left in your shift and you kept telling yourself that you’ll be okay until then.
You should have known better, considering you also took your meds on an empty stomach…and didn’t put any other fuel in your body today, including water.
“Hey, how’s it goin’ on your side?” Bakugo asks through the intercom. “Y’been quiet for a bit.”
His message startles you, making you flinch unnecessarily. “Yeah, nothing crazy. I helped a lost kid get back to his mom and that’s about it.”
Not surprising that there wasn’t much activity in the area considering the weather - even villains and criminals thought it was too hot to scheme today.
“ ’s hot as hell, even for me. Careful out here, sweets. Your meds can overheat ya as it is.”
You hesitate with an answer, trying to mask the exhaustion in your voice. “Mhm, I will be.”
The communication line disconnects with a click.
───
Half hour to go. You can do this!
Rounding the corner, a lone little girl wanders up to your side, asking for your attention.
“Excuse me, miss hero?” She couldn’t be more than ten years old.
“What is it, sweetie?” You answer, kneeling down to be eye level.
“My little brother passed out in the park around the corner and I can’t carry him home. Can you help?”
You take her hand. “Of course! Lead the way, please!”
She brings you to the nearby neighborhood park as you’re starting to feel a bit fuzzy in the head. It’s just a small boy, though. You could handle it!
“He’s over here!” She says, pointing to the boy peacefully snoozing in the sandbox. You approach him and pull an ice pack out of your medical supply pouch, one of the smaller kinds that you crack in half to activate. Once it solidifies, you place it on the back of his neck carefully, rotating to his cheeks and forehead. He comes to, confused and a bit delirious at first until he gets a better look at his surroundings.
“Wha…what happened?” He asks groggily, looking back and forth between you and his sister.
“You passed out from the heat. I’m here to help you and your sister walk home.” You hand him the ice pack to hold, directing his hand to hold it against the back of his neck.
He smiles at you. “I never thought I’d be this close to a hero!”
It warms your heart to see civilians, big or small, thankful for your actions. It reminds you why you wanted to be a hero in the first place.
You stand up, about to lift the boy onto your back and the world around you spins out of control, a sudden headache striking you out of nowhere.
The last thing you remember is falling into the sandbox next to the two kids.
───
"Babe, she's finally waking up!" Kirishima calls from the bedroom, eyes worriedly darting back to you.
"What...what happened?" you ask as you're regaining your vision, taking in the surroundings. "Are we at home?"
Bakugo comes storming into the room with a wash cloth and glass of water. He looks absolutely pissed - something you never liked to see.
"We're home 'cause your dumbass passed out on patrol! I told ya to be careful. You didn't eat this morning, did ya?" His words have a frustrated tone, but his expression is pure concern. He sits on the bed next to you and hands you the glass as you sit upright.
"I didn't want us to be late for patrol, and it slipped my mind afterward to grab something at the agency."
Kirishima sighs, placing a hand on your shoulder. "Honey, you have to be more careful! Especially in this heat wave."
"Y'coulda fallen off a rooftop or into traffic!" Bakugo yells, hands flying though the air for dramatic effect. "You're lucky that little girl was a quick thinker. She grabbed your communicator an' called for help."
The thought of those kids taking care of you when you were supposed to be caring for them tugs at your heartstrings. You can't help but feel guilty thinking about how scared they must have been seeing you faint like that.
"Kat, it was an accident. I'm sure this is a lesson learned. Right sweetheart?" Kirishima asks while giving you the 'say yes so Katsuki doesn't lose his shit' look.
"Y-yeah. I'm sorry for worrying you both. Are the kids okay?"
Bakugo groans, grabbing your cheek roughly and placing the cool washcloth to your forehead. "The brats are fine. Ei walked 'em home while I carried your ass back here."
"That's a relief," you say quietly, trying to mellow the mood of the room. "Thank you both. I'm sorry again, I'll make sure to wake up earlier to eat."
"Ya better, or else I'll have 'ta start settin' alarms to feed you like a damn dog." He leans over and gives you a soft kiss on the lips. "Don't be an idiot, 'kay? If ya feel shitty, tell us."
"Yeah, don't be afraid to just say so! We all forget things." Kirishima leans over to kiss your cheek for reassurance. "It's okay."
From that day forward, Bakugo always made an extra serving of whatever he ate for breakfast for you, just in case you ever forgot again. Kirishima started carrying protein bars on him too - in case you needed them on patrol as a pick me up.
They weren't chancing their favorite girl falling victim to another medical incident.
⋆ ˚ʚɞ —  i hope you enjoyed @snowwolfraintw ! you know for a fact the boys would constantly be shoving snacks in your face after this.

I'm here
Sully Family x Son!Reader
Word count: a lot
Tumblr media
01 02
Prologue
⚠️ : Blood, Swearing
Y/n was the second youngest member of the sully family. Born on 2157, he is one year younger than Lo'ak and Kiri. Y/n was born with a streak of white hair and the color of his skin was lighter than an avatar. He was also a bit small compare to his siblings. Physically Y/n was told that he would be weak and not as strong as a normal avatar, this was said by the other scientists seeing that Y/n had a hard time breathing right after he qas born, but Jake believed that Y/n is just as strong as his siblings.
One thing that concerns them is Y/n's hair. It was never seen before and Jake had to explain to Neytiri back at Earth there are some people with heterochromia that could result different colors in their body. Neytiri might still be confused about it but when she saw Y/n for the first time she immediately loved him. The only left is how others view him.
Growing up Y/n never really interacted with others because he could feel the weird stares from them even if he was a child. Some of them have already gotten used to Y/n's appearance but the other kids might see his hair a bit weird, resulting in Y/n finding it hard to make friends. But he got his family so why should he be worried?
Tumblr media
"Wait for me!!" Little Y/n said as he tried to keep up with his siblings, the kids were running through the forest trying to hide from their parents as they were playing a series of police game their father taught them. "Don't be too loud Y/n! They'll hear us" Kiri said to him while running. Neteyam leads the pack as they went under the leaves and roots of the trees. He stopped and looked at his younger siblings, "Let's split up so we don't lose immediately like last time"
They immediately scattered and Y/n follows Neteyam to his hiding spot. "Y/n? Go you need to hide" Neteyam pushed Y/n away "b-but we always hiwde together" Y/n said as he grabs Neteyam's hand with both of his own. "Y/n..." Neteyam can't stand his baby's brother cuteness "Alright alright you can hide with me but don't be noisy" "Yay!"
"Y/n!" Neteyam shushed him as he giggles
Not even a couple of minutes both of you can hear Lo'ak screaming and running away as your father's voice was not far heard. Neteyam peaked through the small crack between the rocks and saw Lo'ak being drag by his father to the jail area. "Alright, Y/n I need you to stay here until either I get back or dad"
"Okay...but return fast" Y/n held up his little pinky to Neteyam. He smiled and seals the pinky promise, then he sneakily went outside to try and save his stubborn other brother.
Y/n was left alone in a dark hiding spot, minutes went by and he hide there patiently waiting for his parents or Neteyam to find him. He was getting tired and bored of waiting.
He can't help but get excited when he heard a rustle, and thought it was someone coming to find him so he just gets out of his hiding spot. But when he got out he instead saw an adult thanator looking at him. Y/n screamed and runs away as it started to chase after him.
Jake and Neytiri were busy chasing around the other kids and keeping them in place when suddenly they heard Y/n's scream. They both looked at eachother with panic in their eyes "Oh my Eywa, Y/n!" Neytiri shouted, Jake took off running towards the direction. Praying and hoping he'll be alright.
Y/n ran as fast as his little legs can take him but the thanator was getting close and closer every minute. Luckily Y/n saw a small opening under a tree that was located near a ledge that leads to a pond. He immediately tries to get there but before he could the creature clawed one of his leg, causing Y/n to fall over the ledge. He rolls down and landed near the pond. At this point Y/n was shouting and crying for his dad, the pain on his legs didn't make it better either.
The creature landed infront of him, ready to attack again when Jake finally caught up and throws the spear at the creatures abdomen causing it to immediately fall and scram. Luckily he had a spear because he had just finished hunting today.
"Y/N! Oh my god, no no no.." Jake held Y/n in his arms carefully, his hand was stained with Y/n's own blood. "D-daddy..I-I'm scared" "I know baby, I know come on we'll get you home. Stay awake for me alright?" Jakes tries his best to stop the bleeding but then Y/n screamed "It hurts daddy!" Jake was shaking at this point because Y/n was loosing blood. He carefully lifts him up in his arms and began to ran back while carefully trying not to make the pain worse.
"I-It..hurts..." Y/n managed to say as his eyes were getting drowsy little by little. "Y/n! Wake up! Come on don't sleep, everything's going to be fine- baby come on be strong. We're almost home" Jake keeps on repeating it but as much as Y/n tried to stay awake, the pain and exhaustion gets to him eventually.
Y/n can hear his father shouting for him but he can't make up the words. Before Y/n passed out, the last thing he hear was Neytiri's scream
Y/n slowly opens his eyes and saw that he was in a room full off machine and some are attached to him. Y/n began to panic and tries to get up but the doors immediately opened "Y/n!" He saw his mother came into the room and his first instinct was that he wanted to be held by his parents.
He reaches for Neytiri and she went to Y/n's side, holding his hand and hugging him. Y/n sobbed a little as Neytiri kisses his forehead to comfort him while thanking Eywa for saving his life.
Not long after Y/n heard another footsteps and it was Jake, with a baby in his arms. Y/n knew immediately that it was his baby sister. Jake gives the baby to Neytiri and went to lay next to Y/n carefully and he leans into his father's warmth.
Jake wipes away his tears and also kisses his forhead. After Y/n stopped crying his attention shift to the small sleeping figure. "What is her name?" Neytiri smiled at him before answering, "Tuk. Tuktirey te Suli Neytiri'ite" "Tuwk. She's so small" Y/n repeats, and Jake chuckles at his son.
Y/n tries to remove the wires attached to him but Jake quickly stops him "Don't, Y/n."
"But.." Y/n quietly say as Neytiri held his hand. "I know... we'll get if off as soon as you're better alright?" He said as he stroked your hair.
"Is your leg still hurting?" Jake asked and Y/n shakes his head "Can I still play with Lo'ak, Nete, Kiri and Spidew?" Y/n asked
"Of course you can, but first you need to rest so you can get better" "But I want to sleep in my bed with daddy and mommy... I don't want to sleep here.." Neytiri squeeze Y/n's hand reassuringly. She can't stand seeing her child in this state. When Jake came back with Y/n, she was scared to death seeing him bleeding and unconscious. She was also close with her due and she doesn't want to lose a child on an important day.
Y/n was out for a couple of days and Jake had to make sure that Neytiri isn't stressing out because it might harm the baby. Neytiri was heartbroken because Y/n was so excited to meet his little sister. Thankfully Neytiri was able to deliver safely and the baby was healthy.
Y/n had to stay there for a while and he hated every single second of it. He felt scared and alone. He cannot see his siblings yet other than Tuk who was aslsep in his mother's arms mostly. Neytiri and Jake make sure to take turn to visit Y/n every single day.
He thought that everything would be back to the way it used to be but since that event Y/n was forbid to be out of Jake's sight or even go out to the forest alone or with his siblings. He was only allowed to go if either Neytiri or Jake was with him. In result Y/n spends his time almost everyday at home.
At first he was alright with it, thinking that Jake just wanted to protect him. But as time passes he started to notice that he also was constantly overlooked by his father and when he asked him to go and train together with Nete and Lo'ak he would always refused. Sometimes Y/n was upset with his father and often felt ignored by him until to the point where he felt like his father forgot he existed. All of this started when the sky people came back, of course it was the more reason he wasn't allowed to go out to the forest.
Tumblr media
<Present day>
Y/n was with his grandmother, Mo'at. It was really something he would do around the camp. He only ever went out with either his parents and it was only on special occasions. Y/n was dying of boredom and he would always felt sad and jealous when the others can go out and play while he would have to stay behind. Tuk would sometime sneak out with the rest but Jake was too soft on her and she would get away with it.
Well let's say that Y/n didn't have the same privilege as Tuk. And sure the event he had was traumatic but sometimes he longed to be in the forest. He had asked Jake about it and his answer was always like "your not careful enough"
He would spend his time learning about making things from scratch, listening to music/radio that Jake gave him, and helping around the camp. Sometimes helping Kiri tend to the wounded.
Suddenly Tuk came in jumping with joy "Y/n! Come on! They are here!" Before Y/n could react Tuk takes his hand and drags him out of the tent.
Outside he saw Kiri and Spider "Y/n do you feel better?" Kiri asked, and Y/n responded with a nod. "Why did you sneak inside there bro? You know that place isn't for playing around.." Spider commented. "I was just curious" Y/n folded his arms in annoyance. "Plus dad already scolded me, so sadly I don't need anymore scolding monkey brain." Y/n chuckles a bit before running to catch up on Tuk "Hey! It's monkey boy. Not monkey brain!"
Tuk ran to their mother while Y/n noticed that their father looked pissed. He looks at his brother, Neteyam and noticed that he is injured. He knew where this is going so he just greeted his mother first, "Are you feeling alright Y/n?"
"I'm okay" he responded quietly and hugged his mother. Neytiri hugs him back and stroke his head, yesterday Y/n accidentally inhaled a black powder from opening a bullet in the armory. He coughed uncontrollably and had a hard time to breathe, luckily Norm and Jake was there.
Neytiri never hated those weapons more in her life and for sometime she was upset that they are raiding the sky people's weapon. As he was treated Neteyam and Lo'ak stayed beside him, Y/n was always their 'baby brother' since they were kids. Not only that, because of his white hair he was always picked on by other kids and his brothers are the one who always defended him.
After greeting his mother, Y/n stared at Neytiri and asked "Mother, when can I join you and dad? Also can I please try and seek my own ikran? I'll be careful.." Neytiri couldn't resist his son's pleading but she can't do much if her husband hasn't agree with it. "When the time comes you may, you know your father is very cautious of the sky people" "But what if my ikran comes by itself and friendly? Like Kiri" Neytiri chuckles "Your not Kiri, you are Y/n." She caress Y/n's cheek gently as he huffs in disappointment, then Tuk joined the conversation "What about me mommy?" "You know the answer Tuk" Neytiri said as she picked her up
Y/n looked at his brothers who were being scold by their dad, Y/n couldn't stand it anymore, it is always the same thing again and again. Lo'ak gets into trouble and Neteyam always tries to protect Lo'ak from their father's wrath. But this time their father keep on scolding them while Neteyam is injured. Finally Y/n speaks up "Neteyam is hurt." Jake looks at him "Yes. I am aware-" "then we should treat the wound" Y/n cuts him off. It was silence for a moment until Jake speaks again "Kiri, help with the wounded."
"My brother is also injured" Kiri said implying to what Y/n said earlier. "Father, I take full responsibility" Neteyam tried to ease his father's wrath but Jake responds back "Yes, because you are the oldest and you must behave accordingly." Y/n grabs his mother's hand and looked at her. Neytiri understood what he meant and finally speaks "Ma Jake, your son is bleeding"
"It doesn't matter, mother."
"Yes it does. It could get infected" said Y/n. Jake looks at him before looking at his wife. "Go in and get patched up" Neteyam was dismissed and the others went along with Kiri except Y/n.
Jake looks at Lo'ak "You must be aware that you almost had your brother killed. You are banned from flying for a month." Lo'ak stayed silent, accepting the punishment
Since the sky people invaded back Jake has been quite hard on his sons and Y/n being the youngest was also included. Despite that Y/n still can't venture out to the forest anymore since they have to go on hiding and he was forbid to go to the forest alone even though he was already old enough. Lo'ak and the others were allowed only until eclipse but Y/n was still not allowed. The worse part is that he never gets an explanation from Jake.
Y/n remembers the time back when he was younger his father was not this strict and he nevers get mad at them, "Look at me" Y/n was snapped back to reality. He looked around and Lo'ak was already gone.
Jake crouched down to look at his youngest son, Y/n slowly looks at him. He never spends anymore more time with his father as he grew older because Jake was so focused on Lo'ak and Neteyam. "So how are you feeling?" Jake asked, Y/n was surprised by the question "I'm fine.." was all he could say. He wanted to hear those words since yesterday but Jake left because there was a problem.
"Y/n...I know how much you want to be out there but we both that you're not ready yet" he said while looking at Y/n. Jake always knew deep down he can't keep him forever in the camp because Y/n was just as stubborn like him. This wasn't the first time Jake disscuss this with Y/n because he would always ask him if he has the chance. Y/n wanted to protest but he can't because he still respects his father.
Jake then stands up and began to walk away, Y/n looked back at his father and mustered up the courage to stop him. "Dad! Then can we please spend time together? I want to go out and explore....and I missed you" the last part was very quiet but Jake hears it. Jake thinks for a moment before looking back at Y/n, his eyes was not as grumpy as before. "Underneath the big old tree?" Y/n's ear perked up, he was happy that his father still remembers that place. Y/n nodded and Jake left to do his other work.
Y/n went inside the tent and as usual it was lively and noisy because mostly it was Neteyam hissing from the pain while their grandmother treat his wounds. "You alright Nete?" Y/n asked, "Never been better- ow!" he winced again. Kiri voiced her opinion about using Yalnabark to Mo'at but she reminded her who was the tashik here, Y/n knew that Kiri was going to be a great tashik one day, after witnessing her relationship with Eywa he couldn't help but be amazed by her. He sat beside Lo'ak and stroke his hand, although he was younger than Lo'ak, Y/n has always been there to comfort him. Lo'ak looks at him and leans his head on Y/n's shoulder.
Outside, Neytiri approached her lover "What is it" Jake asked. "Neteyam and Lo'ak try to live up to you. It's hard for them."
"I know" Jake answered
"And Y/n. You are hard on them." Neytiri added, "I'm their father. That's my job" he told her. Neytiri puts her hand on his shoulder and looked at him "This is not a squad. This is family" Her tone serious. Jake stops whatever he was doing and exhale for a moment "I thought we had lost him. It's the same feeling when Y/n had that accident and that memory replays on my mind"
Neytiri looks at him for a moment. It was a traumatic event for the family especially when Y/n was the youngest at that time. Neytiri cups his lovers face and makes him look her in the eyes, "Ma Jake. He is here, with us. Alive and safe, can't you see that?" "He was only four when that happend. If only I had been quicker on-" Neytiri interrupts him with a kiss which is something rare "Stop blaming yourself for something that you cannot prevent" Jake still blames himself with what happends to Y/n and just hours ago he almost lost his other sons.
Tumblr media
Y/n's POV
The next day went just like I predicted. I was so stupid to think that it could come true. Dad has problems to take care of so he can't spend time with me. Again. I can only think positively that there would always be a next time or a next day. I was extremely sad and upset with him so I went inside my tent to make an accessory for Tuk, at first I felt fine when dad said that to me.
But then now I felt like someone that's.. not even there, useless compare to my older siblings. I wasn't strong like my brothers, or smart and special like Kiri or even as bright and joyful like Tuk... A tear suddenly dropped down from my eye without me even realizing, dad doesn't care how I feel. Am I really that weak?
Suddenly someone came into the tent, I quickly wipe my tears "Y/n are you crying?" It was Lo'ak...Shit, I forget he was grounded.
~~~
Y/n was silent for a while to calm down his feelings, "I was just upset the accessory didn't came out as I wanted" Lo'ak rolls his eyes "You'd never cry over something like that, are you having a bad day?" "I'm not having a bad day."
Lo'ak replied a bit mockingly "You suuuree? Is it because of you getting rejected by a girl again?" "Stop it Lo'ak. I don't like anyone" "So why are you crying?" Y/n looked back at him "I'm not!" "Woww getting defensive are we, yea....you were probably crying"
Y/n clenched his fist and throws the unfinished accessory to Lo'ak "Ow! That hurts you meanie..." "Leave me alone you skxawng!! I HATE YOU!" As much as Y/n loved his brother, sometimes he gets on his nerve "So what if I'm crying?! It's not your business!!" Y/n was shouting at this point and his eyes began to water again. Lo'ak realized that something was really hurting his baby brother. Out of instinct he hugged Y/n.
Y/n hits Lo'ak shoulder "Let me go! You idiot!" He tries to get away from Lo'ak hug but that plan quickly failed.
After calming down, Y/n felt his brother stroking his head trying to comfort him. It was something Y/n would always do to Neteyam and Lo'ak whenever they had a bad day. "It's because of dad isn't it?" Y/n stayed quiet. "Y/n listen to me your not weak" Lo'ak says but Y/n scoffs in response "I can't even defend myself from the bullies and I don't have any kind of freedom. If I'm not weak I could've joined you guys out there"
Lo'ak pulls away from Y/n and holds his shoulder. "Then how about we go an a little adventure?" Lo'ak was smiling at this point and Y/n knew he was up to something. ".....you mean like going out?" "Yeah, while your big brother is here let's go out and explore. I'll take you to our hideout!"
Y/n hesitates for a while, he was afraid Jake would get mad at him. "We'll be home before they'll be here, no one has to know" Y/n thinks for a while before saying "Alright. I haven't seen the forest for some quite time either"
Tumblr media
Y/n can't believe this, he was really going out again into the wilderness. Lo'ak was leading them at front and Y/n was at the very back of the line as he was watching over Tuk. Honestly, Y/n didn't agree with her coming with them but everyone always loses with Tuk.
"Lo'ak, are you sure it's safe for Tuk to come with us?" Y/n said as he jumped from one root to another. "It's fine, there's me, Kiri and you"
"But why would you bring her in the first place?" Lo'ak turn to Y/n and Tuk "The honking princess. I'm gossiping. You must not go out to the battlefield. I'll tell mom if you don't take me." Lo'ak said mockingly and Tuk sticks her tongue out in response. "Come on guys! You're so slow" Spider said and they continue their little adventure.
Tumblr media
After entering the forest, the others went along while Y/n stayed back for a while. It's been along time since he went into the forest and it was as beautiful as he imagined. He sees various types of plants and animal, and he can hear small chirps here and there, he even met his favorite animal the fan lizard. He slowly walked through the forest admiring everything. He then came across Kiri, sleeping on the forest ground.
He planned waking her up but he saw that she looked so peaceful. It was as if Eywa was with her, the ground around her beating as if it was alive. He decided to give her some time and went somewhere else.
As he went deeper he was stopped when a woodsprite approaching him.
Tumblr media
Y/n smiles and overs his hand to it and as it landed on Y/n, his stripes glowed and he felt like a tingle resulting in him giggling. Another woodsprite came and land on his head and another.
His stripes glows even brighter and brighter, Y/n suddenly heard his name being called so he pulled away from the woodsprites and as he walks he saw the ground around him changed, it was full of flowers
"What the.."
"Y/n! Where are you?!" He heard Lo'ak shouted. He thought that maybe he just didn't noticed it before so he ran back to his siblings.
Time passes and they were walking back home when Lo'ak suddenly noticed something on the ground. Y/n looked over it and saw that it was like a na'vi footprint but different.
"We're always supposed to be home by eclipse" Tuk said commented
Lo'ak and Spider looks at the footprints again "Way too big for a human" "Avatars?" Spider asked. "Maybe, but they're sure not ours" they began to follow the footsteps "What are you doing?" Kiri asked. "Shh, I'm tracking" Y/n knew Lo'ak was going to follow it
"I don't think we should follow it" He said to them but none of his siblings listen to him. Lo'ak keeps on moving while the others follow.
Y/n sighs and grabs Tuk hand, hoping one of them would at least listen to him "Let's go home" "No! I also want to know" She refuses. Y/n turned to Kiri and saw her following the rest. Y/n had no choice but to follow his siblings since he wasn't familiar with the way home.
'Dad is going to kill me..' Y/n repeats those words in his mind
Tumblr media
The atmosphere was quiet and no one dares to make a sound. Y/n immediately knew where this is was. He remebers their father warning them not to come here. Y/n was about to say something but Lo'ak covers his mouth and pointed in front of them. Y/n froze when saw avatars surrounding the old shack.
"Dad is going to ground you for life" Kiri whispered but Lo'ak just shushed her in response. "Bro, we've got to check this out, let's go" "Lo'ak no!" Y/n shout-whispered at him while grabbing his arms. Lo'ak looks back at Y/n, "We might need to report this to dad, me and Spider will go out so stay here" He answered whispering back. Y/n gave him a 'you serious' look and whispered back "I'm coming with you, if anything both of you are very stubborn" "sounds fair then, let's go" Spider said before going first silently
The three of them sneak from behind the bushes and trees to take a better look. "Bro, that's where your dad and my dad fought" Spider said and Lo'ak commented "That's your dad actual suit" "Holy shit..." both of them looked amazed
"Both of you are unbelievable.." Y/n mumbled grumpily. He saw the avatars going outside and talks to eachother about something. "Better call this in" Lo'ak said. "No bro, we're gonna get in trouble" Spider protest but Lo'ak just takes Y/n's hand and drags him along "Let's go"
Lo'ak immediately called Jake and the others we're listening while Y/n just wanted to get out of here as soon as possible.
Y/n then heard Lo'ak mentioning their names hesitantly "There's me, Spider, Kiri... Tuk-" Y/n looked at him dead in the eye hoping he wouldn't say his name but Lo'ak didn't seemed to get it
"-and Y/n" Lo'ak looks a bit scared talking to his father and admitting he brought Y/n who was not allowed to go. Y/n can't listen to his father's voice because he doesn't wear any device but then Kiri takes his hand and Tuk's as Lo'ak said "Yes sir, moving out."
"What did dad say Kiri?" Y/n asked. "Of course he told us to get out of here, it's dangerous" Kiri replied and added "Lo'ak is going to be in a lot of trouble and none of us can save him now"
Y/n looked at her "Believe me, I wish his ass get spanked by dad"
Y/n's POV
We immediately stand up and began to retreat. Kiri kept on saying to Lo'ak that he's going to be in so much trouble and hoenstly I agree. Tuk was running infront of us so I immediately catch up to her and grab her hand. "It's almost eclipse, come on" Tuk said and in a second I heard something near us and immediately pushes Tuk behind me as we keep walking.
I turn my head to the group "Lo'ak there's something-" Suddenly someone grabs me and pulled my tsaheylu causing me to scream. The avatar from before held me still so I can't move.
"Y/N!!" My siblings shouted for my name and just like that we were surrounded by the avatars before. Lo'ak and Spider immediately prepares to fight them but they were holding guns.
"Put it down! Or I'll shoot!" I hear one of them say. I tried to fight back the avatar that was holding me but she yanked me up the ground by my hair and held a knife to my throat "Drop it or he gets it!" All of my siblings looked at me and I saw Tuk crying.
"L-Lo" I managed to say while I was in pain. Lo'ak looked at the avatar holding me furiously and finally said "Drop it" Spider lowers down his weapon and they immediately take a hold of everyone and forced them to kneel down harshly. "Get down on the ground. Stop fighting" one of them said as they harshly grab on Kiri's hair. "Check them for weapons" "Kiri!" Everyone was screaming and my head is hurting.
I can't focus on anything, I look at Lo'ak who was treated roughly and Spider. Tuk was scared and crying as they did the same to her. I was also finally set on the ground but her grip was still the same, not letting go and tears rolled down from my eyes seeing my siblings in pain. Tuk was so frightened..
"Tuk.. Tuk calm down, it's alright Tuk" I say to Tuk hoping she would calm down but she saw me crying shouted my name's and Kiri's.
"Be calm" Kiri said to her suprisingly calm although I knew she was also hurting. The soldiers checked us for weapons. After that they gathered us in a circle, the avatar women still has her knife up to my throat so I can't struggle much.
Tuk was looking at me, "Look away Tuk" I said to her shakingly and she did. I prayed to Eywa that our parents can find us soon and I heard the leader speaks, I turn to look at Lo'ak and he was also looking at me. I could see guilt and worry in his eyes, all of us are held captive by some unknown avatars.
~~~ (There's a lot of hair pulling in this scene I don't even know why 💀)
The colonel takes a look at the kids "What have we here?" He said and looked at Spider, probably confused to why there was a human but quickly shifted back it's focus on the others. One of them held Kiri's hand "Look, Colonel. Check it out. 5 fingers, We've got a half-breed" Kiri struggles and the avatar pulled on her head again.
He then turned to Lo'ak "Show me your fingers" Lo'ak looked back at him and raised his middle finger at him. Colonel only chuckles as he turned to Y/n. He sends a signal to his comrade and she lowers her knife from Y/n. "Would you look at this, a new hybird I suppose" Colonel said as he strokes Y/n's white hair. "You reminded me of someone.." he mumbled and Y/n stayed quiet. Eyes glaring at the Colonel as he reaches out and inspects Y/n's face left to right.
"You're his, aren't you?" He asked
Y/n tries to move his face away but the woman yanked his head upwards causing him to winced in pain. Lo'ak hissed at them "Don't touch him!"
He turns to Lo'ak amused. He walked towards him and grabs him by the hair, "Where is he?"
Lo'ak looks at him innocently "Unfortunately I don't speak english...with assholes"
Colonel answered him with a broken na'vi "Where is your father?" Clearly pissed. He pulled on Lo'ak's hair making him groan. Y/n's tail flicked left and right, scared that the soldier will do something to Lo'ak.
"Really? You wanna play it this way" He pulled out a knife and held it infront of Lo'ak.
Y/n's POV
"Don't harm him you fucker!" I shouted to him in english and he immediately stops. Lo'ak and Kiri stared at me before panicking.
He drops Lo'ak and approched me instead. "Y/n!" "No! Stop!" Kiri and Lo'ak shouted continously. "You seems to care for this little crybaby" He grab me from behind so I was facing Lo'ak and he inched the knife closer to my throat.
"Y/N!!"
I can feel the sharp edge piercing my skin. My siblings looked at me in horror and Lo'ak was fighting and pleading for him to stop.
"Hey! Hey! Don't hurt him please, stop it!" Spider shouted to the colonel and he got his attention. The colonel looked at him and drops me to the ground as I breathed out relieved.
"What’s your name kid?" He asked Spider
"Spider, Socorro" The colonel looked at him and asked him to be let go. He kneels infront of Spider and spoke out a name that I haven't even heard before "Miles?"
Spider looked at him with hatred "Nobody calls me that."
"I'll be damned. I figure they sent you back to Earth"
"Can't put babies in cryo dipshit." Spider replied and Colonel just looked at him as he stands up.
He uses his device and started to send coordinates about where we are. They pulled us up and force us to go back to the old shack.
They tied our hands and I was pushed to the ground beside Lo'ak. "What a freak" I hear one of them say. I completely stayed still, even though I've been hearing it for years it still bothers me in some way.
Lo'ak helps me sit up and hissed at them while they laughed. "You alright? Don't listen to them" He pulled me close and looked at my wound. "It's not that deep, I'm fine." I reassure him. His face was upset and sad so I just leaned on him. Sure the wound stings but it's bearable.
He held my hand, trying to comfort me. I was exhausted and my whole body ached at this point.
I heard an audio being played and they are pointing out it was dad and mom. I peeked over behind me and saw that they were watching a video of them battling. The colonel looked at me "Now I know why you're so familiar. A spitting image of your mother"
I hissed at him and turn away from them.
Hours passed by and the sun had already set. It was getting pretty dark. I was being held by the avatars when I suddenly hear a familiar calling. My ears perked up, trying to locate where the sound was. I look at Tuk and she seems to notice it too.
It was mom, I let out a small smile knowing that our parents are here. The others began to notice and stand on their ground on guard.
I saw that Kiri was praying to Eywa, the avatar told her to shut up but she didn't listen. But then in a flash the avatar that was holding her got shot in the head.
~~
The soldiers pushed away the kids and began to fire at Neytiri. Lo'ak triggers the smoke bom on the soldier and began to bite his way out of their grip. The others followed and as they began to run one of them grabbed Kiri's hair but got shot. Y/n was behind her and the colonel grip his hair, pulling him back as he fall.
"Lo'ak!" Y/n shouted in full panic. Lo'ak turned around and tries to go back for Y/n but Spider holds him back. "Lo'ak! Keep going!!" "LET GO! THEY HAVE Y/N!" "DON'T BE RECKLESS! JAKE AND NEYTIRI IS STILL THERE!" Spider shouted back at him. Lo'ak was conflicted but he knew that if he goes back the situation might get worse.
Quartich pulled Y/n beside him as he take cover. Y/n tried to run but Quartich wrapped his arm around him and reloaded his weapon. Y/n shouted in pain and his wound was pressed down. After he was done he covers Y/n's mouth to prevent him from making any noise and points his gun at him.
"Is that you, Mrs. Sully? I recognize your calling card!" Quartich shouted. Neytiri's breath hitched as she knew her son was being held by him. Quartich instructs one of the soldier to sneak around and kill Neytiri. Y/n tries to shout to warn his mom but his mouth was shut.
"Sh sh... don't want to ruin the surprise now do we?" Quartich said.
"Why don't you come on out Mrs. Sully? You seemed to drop one of your kids here. Why don't we have a little trade hm? Your son for our unfinished business."
Neytiri thinks for a while very carefully as she also ensures her other children are already at safety. She took a deep breath. Now she only have to save Y/n and kill the man holding her son.
"Demon! I will stop you as many times as I have to." She censored some of her words because she doesn't want Y/n to hear it.
"You and the corporal have been pretty busy haven't you? Got yourself a whole litter of half-breeds, I found one here looking exactly like his mother."
Quartich drags Y/n out of hiding. "Would be ashamed for this one to pass on early". Neytiri could hear Y/n muffled scream.
Y/n saw one of the soldiers pointing to where his mom were at and he started to trash around hoping his mother would noticed. As the soldier attempt to fire, an arrow suddenly shot him. Neteyam came in view.
Neytiri quickly shot quartich in the shoulder resulting his grip on Y/n to fall. Y/n quickly ran to where his mother were, he tried to go to Nete but the soldiers were in the way and he saw Jake pushing Neteyam out of the way.
"Mom!" Y/n shouted. Neytiri was not far up the branch above him. She quickly pulled Y/n up and began to run. As they were running, a rocket gun was fired at them, Neytiri and Y/n falls down to the ground but Neytiri quickly gets back up "Y/n! Get up!"
Y/n's ear was ringing but his mother pulled him up and they began to run again. They met Kiri who was shouting for Spider's name. Y/n looked down as saw he was hit, the soldiers were coming closer and Neytiri drag Kiri out from there.
Y/n was upset that Spider was taken from them. But that feeling soon was replaced with huge relief as he saw the rest. "Nete!" Y/n shouted as he ran to hug him. "Y/n! Are you okay?" Neteyam was looking for injury and saw that Y/n's neck had a cut. Neteyam looked at Lo'ak who were looking down. "I'm fine Nete" Y/n said as he looked at Kiri who were crying that Spider was taken
Y/n's POV
"Y/n." Dad called me, I looked up at him. His emotions were unreadable, I didn't know if he is upset or what. "Dad-"
Before I could finish talking he immediately noticed my neck "Don't talk, your wound might get worse" he said to me. I instinctively shut up and look down.. dad is probably mad at me after what I did. "I'm sorry" I whispered. He walked closer to me and pulled me into a hug. "There's no need to apologize I'm glad your safe"
I hugged him back and Tuk joined. Definitely was not expecting a hug but I could use some of that. After a while all of us went back to the camp. Mo'at was taking care of my wound when Tuk suddenly came inside
"Y/n, I think we are leaving"

“Tuk, hand me that,” Neteyam’s sister Kiri said distractedly to their other sister, who was currently sitting in the corner with a sulky expression for reasons that remained a mystery to you. Kiri was more focused on making your braids neat and tight and getting the bone braids in all the right places, painted a glistening white and red for the occasion as opposed to the natural off-white of the bone they were painstakingly carved from.
Your chest tightened at the memory of sitting next to your three older brothers, all of you sitting in silence, the only sound the soft rasp of their knives as they each carved the beads that you all knew you would wear in your hair on the night of your union. You still remembered their expressions.
Alni, the youngest, closest to your age, still frowning at the idea of losing you. Zutxu, second oldest, trying to crack jokes about murdering your future mate so you wouldn’t have to go, but lapsing back into silence when none of you laughed. Ru’pa, without his stupid, incessant smile for once. You had all been so sad. You and your brothers had never been apart, and now you might never see them again.
It had almost felt like you were going to your death.
You had always thought it would be your mother to help you braid your hair for your big night, but instead all you had was sharp-tongued, dreamy Kiri and practical, calm Neytiri, sitting either side of you, braiding away quietly while you sat and fiddled with your top absentmindedly.
Tuk merely stuck her tongue out and turned her face away.
“Tuktirey,” Neytiri said severely, shooting her youngest a warning look, and Tuk deflated, gathering the bowl of beads and pushing them within Kiri’s reach. You couldn’t help the laugh that escaped you at her annoyance, which earned you a startled, lopsided smile from Tuk, so like Lo’ak’s smile, and a little like Neteyam’s, with the openness of it.
“You do not seem excited,” Kiri said, with some hidden note of purpose behind her voice, glancing at you, hands stilling on your hair.
You blinked, looking up at her. “I am happy to mate with your brother.” You didn’t dare say more for fear of giving away just how happy you were.
This newfound love you and Neteyam had for each other might not hold under the test of time, but it was enough for now.
“It’s unfair to force you to mate with Neteyam. Barbaric, and outdated.”
“Kiri,” Neytiri said with the same severeness as before. “It is the will of Eywa. I will thank you for not speaking in such a manner.”
Kiri looked like she wanted to further challenge this on your behalf, but didn’t, just rolled her eyes and kept braiding steadily.
The tension was palpable. Tuk was annoyed for some reason, though Neytiri had murmured to you earlier that Tuk had recently turned 13 and had plunged headfirst into being a difficult, stroppy teenager. You suspected there was more to it but didn’t question Neytiri.
Kiri was obviously displeased with the whole arranged-marriage thing, and you wanted to reassure her properly you were perfectly happy with Neteyam, but in truth, you were too nervous to comfort anyone, let alone yourself.
Soon enough, the braids were done, having taken all morning, and you left their home, thanking Kiri and Neytiri alike for their help, returning to your own home to apply your ceremonial paint.
Kneeling, careful not to crumple your ceremonial outfit, handwoven by your father with such love for his youngest, for his baby, that it hurt a little to look at it, you took the pots of paint in hand.
Dipping your fingers in the white paint, you took a minute to breathe and steady yourself. This was it. Tomorrow, this would all be over, and you and Neteyam would be mates.
No going back now, you told yourself, mostly to put any stray thoughts of making a run for it out of your head, and you began to apply the paint to your face first, not able to see your work and working blindly, trusting your years of practice of putting it on others to guide you.
Neytiri had offered to do it for you, or even have Kiri do it, but you had refused. You simply couldn’t trust them to do it correctly. It was too important to mess up. The paint was cool on your cheeks, drying quickly in the warmth of the afternoon.
The scent of cooking floated in through the open windows of your hut, no doubt in preparation for tonight’s celebration.
You wondered what Neteyam was doing. No doubt getting ready himself, or maybe spending a few moments of peace with Lo’ak. Not that Lo’ak was ever a bringer of peace or serenity, but still. No doubt Neteyam’s chaotic younger brother would be at least a little subdued, given his brother would no longer be living with him anymore.
Not that that would stop Lo’ak from visiting, you knew. You also knew you wouldn’t really mind. As irritating as Lo’ak could be, he had grown on you. Perhaps because you missed your own brothers so badly.
Never mind.
You wondered if Neteyam was as nervous as you. You couldn’t keep your hands from shaking as you shifted to painting your arms and legs, leaving yourself starkly white, almost glowing in the dimming sunlight. Purity in solid form.
Not that you were all that pure, anymore, after kissing Neteyam in such a fashion. It was such a little offense and yet it nagged at you constantly. You wondered if you were lesser in the eyes of Eywa for it. Neteyam was your future mate. Surely it was better that you’d kissed him than just anyone. You were going to kiss Neteyam eventually, what was the harm in doing it a little early?
You hadn’t realised it was getting so late.
The ceremony would be soon. You wished your family were here. Even just your dad or mum or one of your brothers, to walk you there, so you wouldn’t have to go through the crowd of eyes alone.
A knock sounded on the wooden frame of the entrance to your hut. You looked up and found Jake standing, partially hidden behind the beaded curtain. "Neteyam wanted me to walk you there," he said gently. "He was worried about you having to go alone."
"Oh," you said in a small voice, standing up, brushing your delicately woven loincloth out, letting it swish about your ankles, looking up at the olo'eyktan, unsure of what to even say in response to that.
Jake held out his hand to you after a moment of hesitation, and, once you took it, led you out into the balmy evening.
The village was empty. No doubt everyone was gathered at its centre, waiting with bated breath for you and Neteyam, or maybe just enjoying the promise of a joyful night of partying and carrying on.
You tried to walk quietly, ears flicking back and forth at every sound, gripping Jake's hand tight enough to crush it, trying to pretend it was your own father walking you to your fate and not Jake, who you were sure was lovely but hadn't spoken more than two words to you before this.
The feeling of being a scared little kid was overwhelming.
Jake picked up on it, no doubt, glancing down at you and taking note of your troubled expression. He stopped, turning to you, and took your shoulders in his hands. "Relax, honey," he said gently, giving you a rousing little shake. "You're okay. You look fine, you're gonna be fine."
You stared silently up at him, waiting for what else he might have to say. Jake was reminded of Lo'ak, with that big-eyed, silent stare of yours. It had been so long since Lo'ak had given him that kiddish look, and even Tuk was growing up now. It was nice to be able to act all fatherly again, even if you weren't his.
"I know it's scary. But Neteyam's a good boy. He's gonna look after you, okay?" Jake assured you.
"Okay," you agreed, releasing the breath you didn't know you'd been holding.
"Atta girl," Jake said warmly, taking ahold of your hand again and approaching the crowd of Na'vi, which parted before you both to let you pass by, eyes attached to you like you were Eywa made solid. "Come on, let's get this over with. You allowed to drink? Think I see a bottle over there with your name on it," he joked.
You rolled your eyes, grinning. "Of course I'm allowed to drink! How old do you think I am?"
You were both still chuckling as you reached Mo'at, who took your face delicately in her wrinkled hands and examined you, though you noticed she was careful not to smudge your paint. "Radiant," Mo'at murmured, making the word sound almost like an insult, and you couldn't squash the resulting smile.
Jake stepped to the side of Mo'at, tsahik and olo'eyktan side by side.
Neteyam was quick to join you, but he walked alone, eyes on you. Hands once again fisted in his loincloth, earning a disapproving look from Neytiri in the crowd, who had probably spent days or even weeks on the beautiful piece.
"Give me your hands," you murmured to Neteyam as he reached you, earning a puzzled look.
"Wha-"
"Just- here." You took his hands in your own, noting how they shook badly for a few seconds before he mimicked your tight grip and they stilled, but if you loosened your grip even slightly the tremor set in again.
At least you were both equally anxious.
The ceremony began, and you honestly absorbed none of it as Mo'at stood before you both, uttering what were probably ancient Omaticayan rites of union. You were more focused on Neteyam, both on keeping his hands from shaking, and sneaking little glances at him every so often, taking in his sheer beauty in the evening light and the light of the torches lit around the area.
It was admiring him that kept you from dying of boredom. You had no idea Omaticayan ceremonies were so long. Or maybe they weren't, and Mo'at was just a slow talker.
Whatever it was, you were relieved when Jake finished up by giving you both his blessing, and suddenly it was all over.
You looked to Neteyam, unsure of what to do now as Jake rejoined the crowd, clearly in search of Neytiri and probably also a drink.
"I think we go to the Spirit Tree now," Neteyam said, bending his head to whisper in your ear, suppressing a smile as the Omaticaya began to celebrate, not really because they cared all that much about the union, but any chance to celebrate and party was seized with both hands.
You nodded and let him guide you away from the noise and light, deeper into the jungle where it was cool and quiet, the sun having slipped away wordlessly not too long ago.
"We don't really have a Spirit Tree," you explained to Neteyam, voice a little pitchy with nervousness as you both made your way through the bioluminescent undergrowth. "I mean, we have one, but we can't exactly bring it with us when we travel, so a couple years ago my dad had the idea to take its seeds and plant them at the spots we usually make camp at year round, so that we can always connect with the ancestors and with Eywa-"
"Yeah?" Neteyam replied distractedly, eyes searching for the way to their Spirit Tree amidst all the flora and occasional fauna.
You nodded, even though he wasn't looking at you, then subsided into silence.
What else could you say? He'd put a plug in your nervous rambling pretty quick, so all that was left to do was try not to crawl out of your own skin with apprehension.
And desire, you realised, feeling the first flicker of heat in your stomach as you stared at Neteyam's broad back, pushing his way through the surrounding plants.
After all, weren't you supposed to consummate your union with him at this Spirit Tree?
And it wasn't like before, when you'd kissed him. You were allowed to kiss him now and not feel like a total disgrace.
So you did.
A swift tug on his hand, your forearm pressed up against his equally broad chest, shoving him back up against a tree, and your lips found his.
Fucking finally, was all you could think, drawing on your limited knowledge of English curses, brought into existence by none other than Lo'ak, who was incredibly helpful when it came to that sort of thing.
Neteyam's hands found your face, tilting it upwards, curving over you, hot mouth pressed to yours, his hunger making your heart race.
But it was over far too quickly, and you had no way of suppressing the whine that left you when he pulled away.
"Not yet, paskalin," he breathed, still cradling your face, resting his forehead against yours. "Wait a little more. Not here."
"I'm fine with here," you insisted, though there was no real heart to it.
"I can do better for you than here," he fired back, lips curving in a smile. "C'mon, paskalin, we're close."
You sighed and let him continue to drag you ever further.
There it was. The Spirit Tree of the Omaticaya, it's branches curved over almost protectively, glowing a pale purple.
You let go of Neteyam in favour of walking underneath it's canopy, letting the branches brush against your skin softly, gliding through your eager hands. "Beautiful," you murmured to yourself, looking around in rapture, almost breathless with excitement. It had, after all, been a while since you'd been to the Olangi Spirit Tree, and while impressive in it's own right, couldn't compare to this.
"You like it?" Neteyam murmured, coming up behind you and laying a kiss on the back of your shoulder, hands on your hips.
"Mhm," you replied, turning to face him, looping your arms around his neck.
He kissed you, slow and sweet, like he was trying to carve this moment into his memory, hands stroking up and down your back. You felt his fingers hook under the strings of your top and stiffened in anticipation, but he paused and pulled back.
He tilted your chin up with a finger, his eyes hazy and hungry as he looked down at you. "Wanna make love to you, paskalin. Can I?"
You couldn't manage anything more than a nod, kissing him again wordlessly. His tongue slid between your lips, licking into your mouth, the sensation so dizzying you didn't even notice he'd untied your top and cast it away somewhere until his fingers were on your chest, calloused thumbs rubbing over your nipples, making you arch and moan, mouth falling slack, allowing him easier access.
His fingers continued to tease at your nipples as he walked you backwards, never once breaking the kiss, swallowing every desperate noise you make, backing you up against the Spirit Tree's trunk. His thigh slides between your legs and presses up, flush against your rapidly dampening loincloth.
You gasp, head falling back against the tree, desire unfurling in your belly at the contact.
Neteyam attaches his mouth to your neck, nipping and licking at the soft skin there, and once again you feel his hands on the strings of your clothes, this time your loincloth, fiddling with the knots like he can't wait another second to see you bare before him. "You want this?" he mumbled into your neck, hands stilling briefly.
"Please," you whined, fingers digging into his back.
"Shh, shh, paskalin, I got you," he murmured, untying your loincloth and letting it drop, resting his forehead against your shoulder as he fumbled with his own. His hands were beginning to shake again and he couldn't manage it.
"Who's got who?" you wanted to know, covering his hands with your own, steadying them and helping him to finish undressing himself.
He snorted and pinched your nipple, making you squeak, then smack his chest.
He caught your hand in his, pulling it to his mouth and pressing a kiss to your knuckles, then reattached his mouth to yours, practically consuming you as his hands slid down your sides, your hips, then your thighs, nudging them further open.
Your hole clenched around nothing, but all he did was trace a finger around your opening, teasing you, smiling against the side of your head as you huffed and grumbled.
Then he pressed two fingers into you, slowly, slowly, and you exhaled raggedly, head falling against his shoulder. "There you go, that's it, paskalin," Neteyam soothed, curling his fingers inside of you and grazing a spot that made you arch again, thighs locking around his hand.
Still moving slowly, gently, he began to pump them in and out of you, encouraging strangled little noises from you as he did, laying hot, wet kisses along your shoulder and neck.
Something in your gut began to tighten, and you gripped his shoulder, vision blurring at the edges. "Nete- fuck, I'm gonna-"
He pulled his fingers out, smiling down at you when you hissed at the loss. "Not yet, paskalin. C'mere." He kissed you, reaching behind you, and you felt his fingers curl around your kuru.
You shuddered at the contact with the most sensitive part of you, but he was gentle as he pulled it over and tucked it into your hand, pulling his own braid over his shoulder, holding the end out to you, the pink tendrils curling and flexing in the open air.
You brought the end of your own kuru forward, looking up at him in a brief moment of hesitation.
"S'okay," he murmured. "I'm here. I want you."
You nodded, shifting forward, sucking in a breath as you accidentally grinded down on his thigh, bringing your kuru closer to his until the delicate fronds intertwined tightly together.
Neteyam brought his other hand to the back of your head, pressing your foreheads together as he shuddered, eyes rolling, a low moan escaping him, his hardened cock shifting and pressing against the inside of your thigh.
The sensations that flooded you almost made you come on the spot.
You whimpered, eyelids fluttering as your thighs tightened around his knee, inadvertently squeezing his cock and forcing a choked noise out of him.
"Teyam," you gasped, releasing your joined braids and locking your arms around his neck once more. "Need you-"
"Yeah, I got you, baby-" he grunted, shifting an arm around your middle, hoisting you up a little as he lined himself up, then pushed into you, painfully slowly. "S'okay, paskalin, just breathe, I got you, you're so good for me, so fuckin' good," he babbled, veering wildly between English and Na'vi as you clenched around him.
Neteyam was so close to losing it inside of you and coming within seconds, but resisted, gritting his teeth and thrusting as steadily as he could, huffing raggedly against your neck as you mewled, lifting one leg to hook over his hip, allowing him to reach new depths inside you.
His cockhead bumped against that same sweet spot inside you, wrenching a strangled cry out of you. The best sound he'd ever heard, maybe. Every little noise you made was, in his humble opinion.
He wished he had one of those sky demon things his dad had been talking about- a camera or something- so he could record this moment and replay it over and over until every last second of you writhing on his cock was seared into his brain.
But Neteyam was approaching his peak far too quickly. He just couldn't hold it, not with how good and how tight you were, especially now as you were reaching your own high, gripping him like a vice.
"I'm- I'm gonna come, paska- paskalin, fuck-" he moaned, tightening his arm around your middle, holding himself up so he didn't collapse against you, hips beginning to buck up into yours almost painfully as he chased his high.
"Me too-" you choked out, clawing at his back, stars dancing before your eyes before the tight thread in your stomach snapped and you came all over his cock with a sobbing, breathless cry.
Neteyam followed you over the edge, hips stuttering, burying himself deep inside you without a second thought, his seed flooding you, pressing his face to your shoulder, gasping as his vision whited out.
It took several long, searing moments for you to come down from your high, trembling against his chest, twitching around him occasionally, making his cock pulse inside you.
"You're so fuckin' perfect, baby," Neteyam managed finally, kissing you sloppily, stroking your braids, pressing his sweaty forehead against yours. "So fuckin' perfect and all fuckin' mine."
"All yours," you echoed dazedly, taking in the sight of him, slick with sweat, hips snug against yours, chest heaving, and smeared with red and white paint, on his arms, his thighs, his chest and stomach and almost every single part of him that had touched you, hovering over you, the light of the Spirit Tree making a halo around him. He looked like a god.
Your god.
And screw Eywa if she had anything to say on the matter.

Oldest Children Part 2
Tumblr media
A/N: So I wrote Part 1 forever ago and a lot of people were asking for a part 2. I wasn't sure when/if I'd ever get around to it, but after Kinktober and Kinkmas and sooooo much smut, I wanted to try stretching my wings and try a little fluff just to mix it up. I'm admittedly not as confident in my fluff writing, but I think this turned out cute so I hope you like it too! All characters are aged up.
Pairing: Neteyam x Fem!Metkayina!Reader
Warnings: Fluffy fluff, Kissing
Word Count: 2.2k
Summary: Neteyam asks to meet you after eclipse.
Walking along the shore, you carefully observe each of the older Sully kids as they practice their breathing and ilu riding. Off to the side, Tuk is practicing her sign language with Rotxo.
They're all doing well, but you can't help but notice that Neteyam's posture is faltering. Tsireya and Ao'nung are both too caught up with Lo'ak and Kiri to notice so you decide to step in.
Your strides are long and confident, but nearly silent as you move behind him.
"Your posture is awful" you giggle in his ear making him crack a smile. You crouch down and place your hands on his back and shoulder applying gentle pressure to straighten him back out. Neteyam prays to Eywa that you don't notice the way his tail momentarily falters in its usually steady swaying. Lucky for him, you didn't seem to notice. Or, if you did, you didn't mention it.
Tumblr media
He straightens his back, but he still looks awkward. You move around to his front and eye him a bit trying to decide on what was still off. His eyes look at you in waiting and it hits you. Your fingers hold his chin and lift his head. This time, you don't miss it when his face flushes and you freeze feeling your own face get warm. Your stares meet each other in a silent, tender moment that has you suddenly feeling like you can't catch your breath. It's only made worse when your eyes unintentionally flick to his lips and his tongue swipes over his bottom lip.
Off to the side somewhere, Ao'nung is rolling his eyes and Tsireya is stifling a giggle, but neither of you seems to be able to notice anything outside of each other in this moment.
At least, that is, until you hear Tuk's voice calling out from across the way where she was.
"Hey guys! Look at this pretty seashell I found!"
Her little feet stomp the sand beneath her as she races over with the shell in hand. "Be careful, Tuk!" Kiri says, but it's too late. You see the whole thing happen almost in slow motion.
Before she could see it or stop herself in time, her foot lands right on top of a sharp rock that was sticking out of the sand. There's a loud shriek followed by a thud from her falling over into the sand.
There's not a tangible thought in your mind as your body races towards her. You can hear everybody else shuffling to run in the same direction, but you're already in autopilot when you fall to your knees and cradle her in your arms.
Her tears fall steadily onto your arm and her small body trembles with her sobs.
"Shh shh shh, I know, Tuk. I know. Let me see." you try gently consoling her.
By now, everyone else has caught up and they're surrounding you trying to check up on her too. You grab her foot and examine it to see how bad the damage is. There's a small cut, but thankfully, it's nothing too deep.
"It doesn't look too bad. Here, let me clean the sand off and then I'll take you to my mom so she can patch you up? Okay?" you suggest to her and she can only nod her head still letting out little sniffles.
You carefully unhook the sack around your chest that stayed filled with water. Usually, you kept it with you to drink throughout the day, but this was more important right now. Using one hand to hold the skin while your other arm is still holding Tuk close, you pour the water over the small cut making her wince a bit. You gently shush her a bit while you make sure to get all the sand off her injured foot.
Once you're confident that it's all clean, you scoop Tuk up in your arms, "I'm going to take her to my mother so she can properly wrap her foot."
"I'll go with you. I want to make sure she's okay." Neteyam speaks up separating from the rest of the group and coming to join you.
You just give him a small nod as you turn to walk in the direction of the healing tent.
The walk to the healing tent is mostly silent aside from Tuk's tiny sobs and sniffles. Neteyam walks beside you while you cradle his baby sister in your arms and he mutters little words of encouragement to her. It's sweet watching him try to cheer her up.
Fortunately, when you reach the healing tent, it's not busy so your mother is able to attend to Tuk immediately. "You're going to be just fine, okay?" you say placing a comforting hand on top of Tuk's head. Neteyam watches from the wall while Ronal gets to work patching up her foot.
"I should be heading back." you say standing to your feet and walking past Neteyam and out of the pod.
"U-um..." he finally speaks up touching your shoulder to stop you before you got too far away. "Thank you. For looking out for her."
A sincere smile spreads on your face, "It's no problem." You turn to leave again, but again, before you can put too much distance between you, Neteyam takes a few long strides to catch you.
"Can I see you later?"
His question stops you dead in your tracks. You study his expression that almost looked shocked. Like he couldn't believe he just said that.
"Like after last meal?" his voice drops to a whisper feeling the embarrassment color his cheeks, but holding your gaze nonetheless.
"Okay" it comes out a little breathless, but you know he hears you loud and clear when a smile cracks his own face.
"See you later!" you call to him as you take off running back towards the beach. You duck behind a large tree on the shore and press your back to it heaving breaths while your heart threatens to crack right through your chest. There's heat behind your cheeks and your face is starting to hurt from the goofy grin that you couldn't get rid of.
You quietly take a minute to jump in place with glee before composing yourself again and heading back to the group that you'd left on the beach.
...
During last meal, you can barely bring yourself to pay much attention to whatever conversation your family is having. You can't even manage to properly eat your food with how distracted you are. Tsireya is the one that seems to notice first. As if your permanent cheeky grin weren't enough to give you away, she follows your eyeline one time when you and Neteyam catch each other's gaze across the crowd.
"You certainly seem to be in a good mood." she snickers at you.
"Should I not be?" you simply respond.
"You also seem distracted."
"I don't know what you mean." a lie.
"Hm" she hums. "So the Sully kids sure have been improving a lot lately. Especially Neteyam."
Your hands falter ever so slightly and anyone else who wasn't this close to you, would have missed it.
"I knew it!" Tsireya whisper shouts next to you.
"Shhh keep your voice down!" you whisper shout back to her.
A mischievous grin forms on her face laughing at your clearly startled expression.
"Fine! If you must know, he asked me to meet him after last meal." your excitement is barely containable at the prospect.
"How romantic~" she teases, poking at your side.
"Stop, I'm sure it's nothing like that."
"Oh, I'm sure" she says rolling her eyes. "That's why he hasn't stopped staring at you and smiling all meal?"
"Hush!" you lightly push her shoulder. From the corner of your eye, you can see Neteyam stand and excuse himself from his family's spot among the people. He gives you one last look before nodding his head in the direction of the beach and taking off. That's your cue.
You quickly excuse yourself from your family to which your mother gives you a suspicious glare and your sister gives a teasing giggle.
Walking down the shore of the beach it feels like your heart is racing just at the thought of being alone with Neteyam again. The last time the two of you were alone together on the beach, he got so close it made your stomach do flips. You're out of time to speculate on what could happen tonight once you spot his slender frame standing at the edge of the waves. One last breath to calm your nerves and you make the stride over to him.
"Fancy meeting you here, forest boy." you playfully quip at him.
Neteyam huffs out a laugh looking down at you and the gaze in his eyes immediately makes you want to fold in on yourself, but in a good way?
"I've been thinking about how to properly thank you for how you took care of my sister earlier."
"Neteyam, you don't have to--"
"I want to. I've been thinking about it and even though I miss the forest, so far, you have been the best thing about coming here." he turns to fully face you and it's almost as if time stops. Words can't seem to find you right now. His fingers graze the skin on your arm and trail all the way down to your hand where he grabs you firm, but gentle. "Can I show you something?" His eyes are full of hope and a small hint of fear that you'll deny him.
You could never.
"Of course."
The grin that spreads on his face is nothing short of disarming. You let him lead you down the shore and into the forest. He bobs and weaves through the foliage with such grace. No doubt he's fully in his element. Meanwhile, it's all you can do to keep your tail from smacking into every branch that you pass.
He leads you to a tree and before you have the chance to ask any questions, he leaps up to the closest branch with little to no effort leaving you a bit stunned. He looks down at you with an amused smirk and reaches his hand out to you. You were, admittedly, not a very strong climber so you accept his offer and he helps pull you up with ease.
You follow Neteyam up the tree higher and higher until you approach the highest branch.
"You ready for this?" he asks helping you reach your final stop. When you make it to the top and stand to your feet, the sight you're met with almost knocks you backwards.
You can see the entire beach stretched out under a seemingly never-ending sky full of stars. The reflection on the water makes it look like it's shining. And on the other side of you, a forest stretching for miles and miles full of green and bioluminescent flora glowing in the cover of eclipse.
"Wow..." you breath out almost silently. "I've never seen the water like this. It's beautiful..."
The sight is stunning. You can't tear your eyes away. But all Neteyam can look at is you.
"This is my second favorite sight here on the island." he says finally breaking you out of your trance. You turn to face him and his face is suddenly serious.
He offers his hand out to you and you take it somewhat hesitantly. Neteyam weaves his fingers with yours and pulls you closer ever so slightly.
It feels like he gets closer and closer and you can't bring yourself to move out of the way or push him away.
“Neteyam, we shouldn’t..." you say despite the fact that your eyes are trained on his lips that are still moving closer to yours.
He pauses only inches away from your face.
“Then tell me to stop…tell me you don’t want this. If you do, I’ll stop. I’ll leave you alone and I’ll resign myself to forever loving the version of us that could’ve been. But if you let me, I will be irrevocably and unapologetically in love with you past the day I die. You deserve the life you want. Let me give it to you…”
Your eyes finally find his and the sincerity you find in them is overwhelming. You can't help but flash back to that moment you shared on the beach.
“If there were such a man who wanted to give you that life, would you have him?”
Your body moves before your mind can think of words to say. You push up on the balls of your feet to let your lips meet his in a heated kiss. His large hands cup your face carefully and his tail wraps around your thigh holding onto you in every way that he can. Your hands rest against his chest and the beating of his heart is erratic and thunderous. Surely, yours feels the same way. His lips are warm and soft moving against yours. It's as if nothing else exists right now. That is until he gives a cheeky little nip to your bottom lip.
You finally pull away with a small giggle and a deep flush on your face.
"You know this is going to be tough to explain to my parents." you say raising an eyebrow at him.
"It'll be fine. Parents love me." he says proudly.
"Maybe, but you've never had to impress parents of a future olo'eykte"
"You worry too much, yawne. Let me handle it, okay?"
"Alright, if you say so, mighty warrior."

★ cruel ; neteyam
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
synopsis. as of recently, neteyam's been slipping away. attempting to get to the bottom of his negligence towards you, he spews harsh words that begin to form cracks within your relationship. will neteyam be able to fix this despite being the cause of your pain?
info. angst / no comfort, gn!na'vi!reader, 1135 words
warnings. arguing, yelling, outta pocket teyam (boo 🍅), one use of y/n, crying, grammatical errors, based off "queen elizabeth" fight scene :P
Tumblr media
neteyam has been distant.
physically, he's there, but mentally — he's lightyears away from you.
it hasn't always been like this though. during the beginning of your courtship, neteyam was nothing short of attentive and caring. he was everything you wanted in a lover but as of recently, he slowly began drifting away from you. at this point, he's been more of an acquaintance than a mate.
and if you were being honest, you couldn't help but find the situation slightly comical. your mind fills itself to the brim with memories of falling so deeply in love with one another, but now — now, he's just gone.
"you never have to hide from me," he told you.
his words were doused in honey, every single insecurity that plague your mind began melting away. he wanted to know the real you. not the village's tskarem, not the "golden child" title that the elders bestowed upon you.
he wanted to know you.
he wanted to drown himself in your scent, burn the feeling of your body next to his, he wanted to know the ins and outs of your soul.
"i am just neteyam when we are together. not the clan's future olo'ekytan, not the successor of my father. i am simple and plain neteyam."
the memory brings the smallest of smiles to your lips, yet it does nothing to ease the surge of loneliness that consumes you, your heart. it keeps you up at night, eyes wide open as you replay everything that had let up to this point of your relationship. you were beyond tired having to play this game with him, so you decided to bite the bullet and ask him.
"neteyam are you here — oh, kiri!" you speak out, sending her a sweet smile her way. she returns the gesture, "hi, y/n! he's near the shooting range." she states simply, going back to her weaving.
you thank her before scurrying away. luckily, he wasn't too far and you were able to catch up with him. your hands nervously tremble, wringing themselves out in hopes to stop the shakiness. your strides are slow, but with a few encouraging words, you will yourself to walk up to him.
as if on cue, he turns around and catches you staring. his eyes catch you off guard, sunflower-hued orbs swirling with something you can't seem to put your finger on.
"hey..." you say, tone unsure. the sunlight sparkles, flashing through tiny openings of leaves as they sway in the wind. the mossy floor quiets your footsteps as you get closer, standing next to him wordlessly.
he parrots your greeting before going back to his previous task. he draws his bow, eyeing the target that stares back at him. "have you been well?" you ask hopefully. he shrugs, muttering something about being busy and that he's fine. your lips purse at the lack of communication on his end.
"okay, stop. what is wrong with you?" you ask sternly. your eyebrows scrunch in displeasure, subtly creating space between you and him by taking a step sideways. he looks back at you, surprised at the sudden fierceness to your voice.
he sends you a quizzical look as if he genuinely had no clue what you were hinting at, "i do not know what you are talking about." he states it as if it were a fact.
you roll your eyes at his deflection, crossing your arms irritably. "do not play this game with me," you scoff, sounding like a parent scolding their child. neteyam's eyes downcast shamefully towards the bow in his hands, the seriousness of the situation beginning to crash down on him.
"look, i know you have been having a hard time with your duties, but 'teyam, i'm here for you. there is no need to run away from me, from us —"
"there is no 'us'," he cuts you off, not sparing you a single glance. "there is nothing here. you have absolutely no knowledge of what it takes, what is thrust upon me as the next olo'ekytan. i am forced to love you, a simple clans person who does not contribute a single thing to this village," he grunts out, nostrils flaring in irritation.
"yes, i have my duties but i will not be forced to go through yet another day where you think we are true lovers. so back off." his voice grows angrier with each word. his words resemble a whip, every word that tumbles past his lips begins to hit you again, and again, and again. his breath gets caught in his throat as his face flushes a darker plum color.
your jaw drops slightly, an instant gasp leaving your lips. the tiny noise knocks neteyam out of his defensive state and with every passing second, regret begins to consume him whole.
both of you stay silent for second, just staring at each other in search of how to respond, to no avail. he watches your face morph into one that is more closed off, walls building themselves high as you straighten out your posture before responding.
"my mistake," you swallow thickly, voice almost mocking him in a sense. "i apologize for thinking there was an us. i thought i was speaking to just neteyam, not the chief's son. forgive me for thinking otherwise." your tone is monotonous, gaze meeting his in an intense staring match.
his brows drop, eyes widening as his frown begins to grow deeper. "y/n..." he tries to take a step closer to you, in return you take a step back. you cut off his advances before they can even start. "i am truly sorry for the fact that our entire relationship was a mere inconvenience for you."
neteyam hisses as if you had slapped him across his face, and after everything he had just spilt, he wouldn't be surprised if you actually did so. but there you stand, the sparkle in your eyes dimming. his mouth open and closes, trying to muster up enough words to form a proper sentence. and to rub salt into his freshly cut wound, "was there anything else the chief's son needed to say to me or am i free to leave?" you ask calmly, eyes never leaving his.
his hands twitch nervously, biting the inside of his cheek as he contemplates his next move. "there's nothing else to say on this matter," he mutters.
you nod affirmatively before turning your back towards him. as you begin walking away, neteyam's hands instinctively reach for you, calling your name desperately as the space between you and him grows bigger.
he knew he had messed up, big time.
"that's enough, neteyam." your voice stern, pointing an accusatory finger his way. he continues to watch your retreating form, heart willing him to run after you, yet his brain forces his body to remain deathly still.

Hey! I've been trying to dig for some new way of water fics, and I found some on your account but... I was wondering if you'd be interested in writing a Jake sully x daughter reader. Because when he was "what's wrong baby girl" I internally melted and I would love it if you would make me melt with a fic plssss
Home Sick
[Daughter Reader with parents Neytiri and Jake Sully!]
[Warnings: Like, none?]
[AN: There are spoilers for Way of Water in here!!
Man I'm glad someone else enjoyed that too. When I saw it in theatres, my heart MELTED at how paternal Jake was to his girls. It genuinely made me so happy. Love to see it. Headcanons for now but I might revisit this and make something more in depth!!]
[Reblogs are appreciated!]
Alright some context here you are a born Na'vi but you're adopted as well. Your parents were hunters in the Omaticaya clan and were unfortunately killed while out providing for the clan. Jake and Neytiri, who were very close to your parents, took you at a very young age. I'm putting you around the same age as Kiri.
In general, you're very happy. Your parents adore you and so too do your sisters and brothers. I honestly feel you and Lo'ak are thick as thieves, but Kiri understands you in a way no one else does. Tuk loves to hang from your arms and swing around. Neteyam bears the responsibility of keeping you all out of trouble!! Which he cannot STAND at times but sigh, that's what you do when you're the eldest son. He loves you all though.
I don't want to talk about Spider. I will not.
Leaving the Omaticaya was the hardest thing your family had to do. You cannot count how many hours you're cried. And well, settling in with the Metkayina hasn't been easy. While Tsireya is very sweet and helpful, often ensuring you and your siblings feel safe and learn well, her brother and his friends are not on the same wavelength.
One late evening, you and your father finally have a chat. Your siblings are all out doing Great Mother knows what, and you're alone, tail swishing, ears bent back with tears in your big, yellow eyes.
Your father gently nods to your mother who frowns before gesturing for him to join you.
You run your fingers through the water and sigh.
"Is something on your mind?" He asks. His voice is soft and calming, like the rains that used to fall after a great storm. His hands gently run through your hair, beautiful braids that your mother and sisters worked on before you had left the Omaticaya.
"No," you answer curtly, tail sway9ing in frustration.
He raises a brow and cocks his head to the side. "Mmm, I don't recall an agitated tail being a sign of relaxation," he lightly chuckles. He knows that you're frustrated about the change and it's like, the first week of you guys being settled in. He sees you relent and frowns. "Baby girl, something you're not telling me?"
You finally look up at your father and readjust your position so you're sitting cross legged beside him. "I miss home," you say plainly, not wanting your voice to crack.
Wordlessly, he takes you into his side, wrapping you up in his strong arms and rests his head atop yours. "I miss it too." Everyone does.
He lets you cry into his side, his voice quite, willowy, as he holds you. He knows the move has been tough on you. His words are comforting.
Eventually, your mother comes on your other side and she and your father cradle you as if you were their small baby again. Your mother hums to you. She's loving and gentle, her touch not that of a warrior, but someone who truly adores you.
You cling to them. Your smaller hands grip at their forearms, their waists, burying deep into them. You can still smell the forest from your mother, how the nostalgic scent of the winds carry from your father's hair. They still smell like home though it is fading.
Your father presses his lips to the top of your head, his eyes locking with your mother's. Their hearts have broken seeing you this hurt, and they're pained with the feeling their hearts will break again.

a/n: my inbox & dms are always open. 🖤
tw: husband!kiri, f!reader, disordered eating (no specific foods or numbers), relapse, anxiety, negative self talk
Tumblr media
your stomach turned at his question.
“ready to make dinner, cutie?” eijiro said from the next room.
cooking dinner together was part of your routine when both of you were home.
eijiro had learned, being with you, that you liked to be meticulous with your food. most things had to be cooked or done in a certain way. there were tasks that you asked him to handle when the anxiety became too much. some days he’d let you push him out of the kitchen and do it all yourself to maintain a sense of control, and other days when you’d allow it, he did the same to you when he could see the panic in your eyes. he was okay with that because it meant he could take care of you.
you’d learned, being with him, that he was far too perceptive for his own good. he never let you treat yourself poorly if he could help it, never missed a change of habit. some days that felt like too much; he was a pro hero with enough on his plate. why couldn’t he let you handle this on your own?…
you knew why. he hated feeling helpless, especially when it came to you. but it still made you feel more like a burden than a loving partner.
“i’m not hungry. we can eat separately, if you want?” you said.
a lie.
eijiro knew there was a fifty-fifty shot if it was true. he walked into the living room where you were reading a book and sat next to you.
his eyes held concern. “babe, is everything alright?”
not really. but you were too tired to talk.
“yeah, why?” you didn’t look up from the page. maybe if -
“this is the third night in a row,” eijiro said quietly.
silence.
“i’m worried about you.”
you met his pained, crimson gaze. he did have reason to worry, at least this time.
it always started with skipping lunch when work got stressful. when your clothes didn’t fit right. when your stomach was too chubby or your thighs too big. then it was breakfast, when eijiro was asleep or already gone. then dumping last night’s dinner in the trash the next day when you said you’d eat it for lunch, opting for anything that didn’t make you panic, if you could stomach it.
when you needed a sense of something you could control, this was it. you could count numbers. you could watch them change. manipulate them until you felt some kind of relief. it was never happiness, but at least the fog of hunger made thoughts slow down. you could feel the way it affected your body, even if it didn’t feel good.
and that was all something. better than nothing.
“i’m okay, ei. really. my stomach hurts, that’s all,” you replied with a smile. which was true.
“do you need to see a doctor?” he asked. “you haven’t had breakfast in at least two weeks. don’t think i haven’t noticed just because i’m not here.”
a pang in your chest. this is why you insisted on doing the grocery shopping yourself. it took twice as long to go by yourself, but you didn’t care. it allowed you to hide. the last few weeks, you had to hand the list off to your husband. but he was thorough, always double checking.
“you know i keep food at work. and-”
his voice raised slightly. “that doesn’t mean you’re eating. you’re losing weight.”
a lump burned in your throat.
how is that a bad thing? what’s wrong with something that made me feel better? i’m too chubby anyways. it’s disgusting. i’m disgusting. why does he care?
you knew why it was wrong. had seen the effects of how habits like yours could rapidly destroy bodies. and eijiro knew that, too. but lately, that didn’t matter.
“please don’t push,” you said softly.
“no, i will push. i won’t sit here and watch you hurt the person i love. i can’t-” eijiro’s voice cracked. tears spilled down his cheeks. “i can’t do it. do you understand that?”
you fidgeted with the edge of a page as tears filled your own. “yes.”
“then will you come to the kitchen or let me make you something?” he pleaded. “we can have whatever you want. fuck our dinner plan, i’ll make you anything. i’ll let you cook if that helps, i don’t care. just… please?”
your mind wanted to argue. you don’t understand, you’d say. but it was unbearable to see eijiro like this. you set your book aside and wrapped your arms around him. he pulled you into a tight embrace as tears fell.
“i love you, eijiro,” you whispered.
he kissed the side of your head. “i love you. i love you so much. more than you could ever know.”

Tarsem watched you as you whisper something in your sister, Kiri's ear and she laughs as ahe looks at him and his eyes go back to you and your looking back at you, your eyes looking upon him kinda made him nervous as his ears went to the back of his head and his eyes shoot down and he tries remaining his composure.
He had begun courting you two months ago. You two grew up together, learned together, and he had an admiration for you and that admiration soon formed to love. He only wanted you. Anytime he thought life with anyone else from the clan he feels and unsettling sizzling in his lower abdomen. Anytime he thought if you with another mate his heart aches a little. He could only see you.
When you thought of Tarsem you couldn't help but blush. Over the years you've watched him, grew closer to him, and even found yourself falling in live with him. You couldn't help but feel envious of whatever potential mate that Tarsem sees, you felt hurt knowing that one day he will have a wonderful mate, beautiful kids, and a content life and it wouldn't be with you.
But things turned around all those two months ago when he have you his official courting gift. It was an assortment of flowers and fruits that were your favorite flavors or color. He knew gou inside and out and he hoped you liked it. You happily accepted and you would never tell anyone you did a happy dance when you got home.
And the arrangement was only the first of many gifts. He wanted to prove to you and to your family he could provide and most importantly protect their daughter. He hunted the most hexapede, he saw it was your favorite whenever the clan would have it so he had to get it for you. He prepared the meat for you and your family, he saw you and smiled at you and you do the same walking to you. Reaching the meat in his hands out he gives it to you.
"For you and your family." He said and you smiled before wrapping your arms around his neck bringing him into your warm hug. "Thank you 'sem." His ears perk at the nickname you whispered in his ear. You were the only one who called him it he felt special. "I actually got you something too." You say a blush creeping up your cheeks. His eyes widen a he cracks a smile. "I heard that you've been wanting a new necklace and so I made you one." You say pulling one of the best necklaces you have ever made, it was red just like the one he has in now, but with differences only he and you knew and shined just right when the sun hit it.
He smiled and took the necklace replacing his old one immediately.
You each say your sheepish goodbyes as you walk to your kelku.
Opening the makeshift curtain that acted as a door you saw your family sitting down together. Jake was the first to notice the prepared meat in his hands. "You hunted." He asked and the family turned their attention to you.
Looking down at the meat you shake your head no and put it down. "Tarsem hunted it for me, well for us." You say making your way to the family circle. "Oooooo Tarsem." Your siblings giggle together. "Shut up." You say hitting Lo'aks head lightly before sitting down. Jake's eyes widen and his mouth makes and 'o' shape.
"Tarsem hm. He's good yeah?" It sounded more like a question rather a statement as you smiled lightly.
Jake could have sworn a few grey hairs sprouted from his head the more you talked about the flower and fruit arrangement and now the hunt. And how happy you looked his stomach did flips. He rubbed his head his little girl doesn't need him anymore.
"Sempul you okay?" You ask your father before grabbing a handful of grape like fruits Lo'ak was eating and handing it to Tuk who had been asking for a while. "Don't worry Tsmuke." Neteyam said as him a Lo'ak giggle like little girls. "He just doesn't want ine of his precious baby girls growing up." Lo'ak joked earning a slight grab of the ear by Neytiri.
"I'm fine baby girl." Jake said with a closed lip smile.

"Neytiri I'm freaking out." Jake said and his mate looked at him full of confusion and concern as she made her way over to where he sat in their shared room.
"What is wrong Ma' Jake?" She asked.
"Its Y/N." He said tilting his head back with his eyes closed. Neytiri hums in response trying to coax more outta him. "And Tarsem." He said again and she realizes and smiles as she taps his shoulder. He opens his eyes and looks at her. "She is fine Ma' Jake." Neytiri said as she got up and went behind a changing curtain and change into her night loincloth. "I know she's okay, its just why himmmmm." He drug out the last words to emphasize who he was talking about. "My live you need not worry, Tarsem is wise for his age, and they will be good to each other." Neytiri said walking from behind the changing curtain and into their cot. "But she won't need me anymore." Jame pouted as he wrapped his arms around Neytiri and laying down with her. "She will always need you Ma Jake but she is one of the people now she can choose a mate all will be well." She said as she settled in close ready for a peaceful sleep.

It was not a peaceful sleep for Tarsem.
He stayed up all night perfecting a piece that matched the necklace you made him. Today would be the day he would ask your father permission to ask for your hand. He felt all giddy inside, his light, his love, the reason he breathed, the only one he wanted to please, you. Y/N te Suli Neytiri'ite.
He tied the last string to the top. It was beautiful, reminded him of you and all of your gloriousness. His hands ran over the top and smiled.
The part that clasped around your neck was reck as was his necklace. And what dropped down where strings that were black that shined and they wrapped around what would be your torso. He thought of you wearing it, how beautiful you would be.
He waited until the sun rose along with everyone else. He saw you, your hair was wrapped up in an eccentric style as you wore a netted top and a long loin skirt that hiked up your legs. Your skin was glowy as the sun hit it.
You held Tuk's hand and listened to whatever your father was telling you about and then your eyes clocked Tarsem who held something behind his back. Taking your hand that held nothing waving at him. Jake looked at who you were waving at and took a deep breath, it's not he didn't like Tarsem. Neytiri was right he was nice, wise, kind and a strong warrior. But Jake felt as if Tarsem was stealing you away.
Tarsem proceeded to you hopefulness ran clear through his veins.
He was now in front of you.
He tried to ignore the staring of your father but the way his eyes were basically piercing his skull, it was hard.
"Um, I wanted to ask you something." He began and your ears perked and your stomach tingled as you nodded in response. "Yes." You mumble after a moment of silence except for the little giggles that Tuk squeaked out and Jake's very uncomfortable staring. "Uh can we go somewhere a little more private?" He asked and you looked around and eyes land on your father and his peering eyes, widening your eyes to tell him to stop, he doesn't.
"Yeah we can." You say. "Uh Y/N." Jake said and you shot him a pleading look, sighing once more he takes Tuk im his arms and nobs as he walks off.
Taking Tarsem's hand you walk just a litte ways into the forest not to far, smiling back at him as your hand never left him you find a nice secluded spot.
You step in front of him. He looks down at your hand still interlocked with yours. "Oh sorry." You say sheepishly taking your hand away heat rushing to your face and tuck a loose piece of hair behind your ear.
"Y/N um," he began.
"You are perfect, truly. The best thing the great mother ever made. Your laugh, the way your eyes light up when we ride on our ikrans, the way your protective over the people you love, the way on side of your cheeks have a dimple and the other doesn't, how you favorite time of the day is one hour before the sun rises because all of the animals nocturnal or not, and how you like your food extra hot even though its gross." He continues as you giggle at his words and he smiles heartily.
"And I was wondering if you would do me the honor," he said before gulping nervously.
"If you would do me the honor of being my muntxa si." He finished.
Your face was dumbfounded as he confessed all of his heart out to you. You reach for his hands squeezing them you held eye contact with him far a while as your face softened and relaxed into a content one. You wait a second, but it felt like years until you moved your body closer to his, chest to chest. He could feel every breath you took, every beat your heart made, he could feel you, see you.
Stepping on your tippy toes you plant a soft kiss on his soft lips. His lips chased after yours as you pulled your head away, giggling under the hand over your lips.
"I'll take that as a, yes?" He asked and you let your hand hold his as your smiled at him. "Yes." You say and just as you go in for another kiss you hear something.
"Tuk shush, oh no no no don't pull daddy's hair." You heard your eyes immediately went to where the words came from, and sure enough behind a bush you saw your fathers obnoxiously large shoulders and Tuk who was pulling on his dreads.
"Come on out." You say and he still pretends to be hidden. Tarsem looks toward where you are staring at and he sees your father and sister and his face heats up.
Reluctantly, Jake came out behind the bush with Tuk who smiled widely. "I'm sorr-" Jake went to say before you point to hometree and he nods and starts his walk.
And as you and Tarsem walked back into hometree you heard Tuk's small voice yelling.
"Y/N amd Tarsem kissing in the forest k-i-s-s-i-n-g."
