We finally got some Korean cutlure incorporated! I'm so super excited about this. Honestly, this might just be one of the best parts of the episode.
Also, did Chimney speak Korean for a moment when he started to triage the accident scene? Even more excited about that! (I honestly thought he just didn't speak it anymore.)
Loved to see Kevin, too! And that Chimney came home to Anne and John. And that Anne and John were acting as Jee-Yun's grandparents in the beginning, as they should. (Not so happy about the Buckley parents looking after her later, but I guess I can't have everything.)

I knew it was coming, but still can't believe they made us watch Phillip walk Maddie down the aisle. I want to just be happy for her, but he just didn't deserve to walk her down the aisle. As far as parents go (not that Margaret and Phillip actually qualify as such) , at least we got a lot of scenes with the Lees

Shout-out to Mrs.Anne Lee the only parent who actually parented her sons (Kevin and Chim) without causing them trauma and loves them unconditionally.

CHIMNEY HAN + anne and john lee
Chimney Positivity Weekend — Day 1: Family
[Image ID: four gifs of Chimney Han with the Lees from multiple episodes of 9-1-1. Each gif is overlaid with text in the middle from Lilo and Stitch in blue-and-white gradient, except the last gif:
GIF 1: Chimney seated at the dining table at the Lees' place in 2.12. The shot is a wide shot to show Kevin, John and Anne seated with him. They're eating dinner while Kevin recounts the exciting things he did on the job. Chimney sullenly eats his food. The text reads, "ohana means family."
GIF 2: Chimney pulling John and Anne into his shoulders as they mourn Kevin's loss in 2.12. John is distraught, his screams hardly muffling his grief. Anne's head tips down on Chim's shoulder, and he holds them almost automatically, in shock. The text reads, "and family means."
GIF 3: Two gifs blended together. The first gif is Anne hugging Maddie tightly, rubbing a hand down her back while John nods proudly at Chimney. The second gif is Chim carefully settling Jee-Yun into Anne's arms, pronouncing her Jee-Yun's grandma. The text reads, "nobody is left behind."
GIF 4: Two gifs blended together. The first gif is Mr. Lee hugging Chimney tightly when they meet in 3.11. His eyes are closed as if to savor this moment. The second gif is Chimney falling into Anne's arms in 2.12, her eyes teary of the mention of Kevin, but hopeful and content as she hugs Chim tightly. The text reads, in red-and-white gradient, “or forgotten.”

Summary:
John decides to make some changes to the Lees’ house and Chimney reflects about his ability to fix things he didn’t break.
“Maybe he hadn’t had the best foundation to build up a family on, but it did seem destiny had granted him a chance to demolish the rotten core and build something new in its place.“

I don’t want to be mean but Mrs. Lee! No!
Why are you telling a clearly unwell and confused man that his brother is dead?
Just tell him something, anything else and call an ambulance!
Sorry I was just yelling no that entire scene.

I'm glad Chimney was able to get back to the Lees place that they never moved but surprised the rest of the Firefam didn't keep them more informed that they were so shocked by Chim's condition
