Hello Technoblade voters!
So, your guy lost to the GoodTimes. Maybe you don’t know who to vote for now. I mean, if Technoblade isn’t immune to the good times… who is?
I propose to you: Ethoslab.
Now, if you don’t know who Etho is, lemme give you a rundown.
he’s one of THE og minecraft letsplayers. your favorite minecraft youtuber? yeah, etho is probably one of the reasons they got into mcyt. etho is your favorite mcyt’s favorite mcyt
he’s faceless, and has been for his entire 12+ year youtube career
he has only changed his skin once or twice in those 12 years, and the most recent one was to remove the extra face on his torso because he didn’t know how previously
that skin is literally just kakashi naruto
etho is a god at redstone. he basically invented half the redstone that’s used today. hopper clock? that’s etho’s. i mean… he’s invented a storage system that lets you search for a specific item. it’s called the googler because it’s basically a search engine.
he is an absolute NERD (/aff) and insanely smart
he is genuinely kind to his friends, and has a very sweet yet mischievous demeanor. though, even his friends will call him mysterious
he’s canadian so like… arctic/antarctic solidarity… right?
he has spent many many MANY years perfecting a PVP arena game called Battle Bane. look it up. it’s insane.
actually, all the minigames he’s made are pretty insane. and most of them involve death. i mean. he had one called Hurtin’ Hermits where the whole goal was to kill the other hermits as much as possible and enact chaos
I could go on and on about Etho and what he’s like. HOWEVER. I think it’s more interesting to tell you how he’s portrayed by the fandom.
etho tends to be portrayed as a quiet, broody, mysterious guy despite actually being a bit of a goofball
he’s drawn not as kakashi naruto, but more often, a hot twink that can range from sad puppy to sexy dude covered in blood in the span of a single post
some people headcanon him to be as old as the universe, and tied to the void
he has multiple popular animal traits, from catboy to bunny to most commonly arctic fox
there’s etho titty tuesday. there’s. i mean. there’s etho titty tuesday.
i mean really, just… go into the ethoslab tag and you can see all the ways he’s portrayed.
And if that’s not convincing enough, here are some things he’s done in canon to hopefully sway you.
in season 7 of hermitcraft, he had a shop called Shade-E-E’s, where people could sign other people up to basically get harassed (/lh) by Etho’s shenanigans. “Free Glass” meant panes of light grey glass hidden in all your chests so you couldn’t put things into the chest. “Gardening” meant beehives hidden throughout your base so you would hear buzzing at random. “Pest Relocation” meant spawning endermites in your home.
also in season 7, he had the shop Sneak-E-E’s, which was a secret popup shop where he undercut prices or sold rare item overstock. you could only buy while it existed, and only when you could find it. the first time it was built was up in the sky, all out of shulker boxes so it wouldn’t render in until you got close. the second time was in the unused floor of Mayor GoodTimesWithScar’s shop. scar had no idea for. a while.
in last life, he scammed scar out of a life to give to bdubs, and then promptly killed scar and stole the enchanter. oh yeah, he did it with a fishing rod, too.
in season 9, he moved into bdubs’ basement without telling bdubs
in season 9, he also started late. so, in order to catch up, he exiled himself to a place untouched by the other hermits and wouldn’t let himself come back until he was able to defeat a full raid on his own. it didn’t take him long.
in double life, he and joel were paired, and were the most chaotic duo on the server. they hunted people for sport (notably, grian and scar) and burned things down for fun. “the ship burns everything burns” chanted as they set the entire map on fire
in last life, he went around trying to intimidate people into giving him gifts and he would spare their life. pretty much everyone was instantly afraid of him.
actually, most of the hermits are pretty intimidated by etho. including goodtimeswithscar.
also, most of the hermits are ethogirls.
etho and scar end up on opposing sides in pretty much everything, especially the life series (which is a funky lil hardcore battle royale). they are traditionally enemies. they pick fights with each other for fun.
If you want vengeance for Technoblade— blood for the blood god— vote Ethoslab.
Sincerely, Ethogirls

Working on a wee comic with the octonauts grampa squad bc animation burnout is hitting HARD
I realized I dont have established designs for Natquick or Ranger Marsh, so heres them in both their work outfits, plus casual clothes ^^
Tumblr media
Right- So, some notes ab their work fits:
you may have noticed these guys are my only octonauts designs w/ proper shoes. There is a reason for that, and no its not just bc i figured out how anthro footwear works.
Ranger marsh gets thick soled boots because working in the everglades means venomous snakes and spiders such as coral snakes and black widows- which would not be fun to step on barefoot. Even for a rabbit with thick fur on their feet. Not to mention, said fur also traps mud very easily.
As for Natquick, He gets fluffy boots because his paw-pads on his feet are very sensitive. Arctic foxes have thick fur not just on their bodies, but on their paws as well to protect them from the cold. Natquick however is much less fluffy than animals of his species tend to be. This is because during his time in the Antarctic- there were struggle periods where it became hard to find food. He became malnourished and started shedding fur. As a result he spend more time in the research station, and the rough floors weren't exactly the most pleasant to walk on.
Other than that, its basically exactly the same as their cannon fits besides minor color changes.
Tumblr media
Now for their Casual Fits:
Natquick's is a cozy sweater, + a Tshirt Tracker gifted him. :D it reminds him of summer, which is certainly comforting in the cold. The scar on his leg? a result of frost-bite. While he was doing feild research in the Antarctic- and avalanche caught him of guard. His leg got caught under some ice. He waited there for almost a day before a group of penguins found him and helped him out. (i dont have a story for the scar on his snout yet)
As for Ranger Marsh, his is the same shorts he always wears, + a tanktop. when he was much younger, he went on a family camping trip at a national park. As their family traveled a lot, it was a pine-forest, somewhere in North America rather than the swampy everglades he was used to. the trip was what made him wanna be a park ranger. The tank-top was something he had gotten from the parks gift shop. As for the wrappings on his shoulder- The green patches of his fur are much more sensitive to the harsh sun than the brown patches are. He does his best to shield himself from the sun- by using things like his hat and working in the shade. But Sunburns still happen, and they can be pretty nasty at times.
Hope you guys like these designs! They were really fun to make!
+ it gave me an excuse to rewatch "Operation Deep Freeze" ^^

25 asks! :00 Thank you! :}} 💖
Tumblr media
I would like to yeah :0 for now I'm just kind'a goofin around and drawing whatever. Also thank you!! :DD I'm glad you like it! :}}}
Tumblr media
I don't think kid Gregory and Vanessa would realize that the other is a younger version of the guard that's pursuing them.. They would just think they have the same name.
What would be confusing though is who went into who's world. If Little Vanessa went to little Gregory's world, she would be so confused. "Where's Bonnie and Foxy? Why do Roxy and Monty look so different..? Why does the entire BUILDING look different..??"
For adult Gregory going into the kid Gregory's world.. it'd be the same thing. "Why is the building so different and where is Bonnie and Foxy?... Also why is there this random gal that has on a security uniform and why is she in my office-"
Tumblr media
Thank you! Happy new year to you as well!! 🎉🥳🎊
Tumblr media
YOOOO THAT'D BE SICK!! :DDD Also I love all the puns XDD
Tumblr media
Yeah, that post is outdated and should not be followed. My pinned post has all the up to date information. 👍
(Also thank you! :D)
Tumblr media
That's a thing?? Man. I'm not sure what to think. I was never super into Bendy.. I guess I just hope that the fans get what they're hoping for? <:D
Or at the very least I hope that the people who made Bendy have the freedom to put what ever they want into the movie. :}
Tumblr media
Thank you so much! :DD As for my favorite character from my AU specifically? I'd say its a tough pick between Freddy and Foxy.. I thiiiiink I'll pick Freddy XD I just love him man 🥺
Tumblr media
@skeletormasterofevil
Tumblr media
N-No.. she was so young...💔
Tumblr media
@underfalls-36
XDDD That's hilarious, also thANK YOU SO MUCH!! :DDD
Tumblr media
Calico Jack? I don't think so.. scurvy is caused by a severe vitamin-C deficiency. And sailors usually got it becuase they didn't have fruits and vegetables on the ship.. But it looks like Calico Jack has gotten shipwrecked quite a few times in his life. I imagine he's been stranded on islands for a few weeks at a time where he ate nothing but fruits, Veggies and fish. Not to mention his time in the Amazon where he likely had access to all kinds of fruits.
Natquik though? Its possible.. out in the Antarctic his diet was probably mostly fish.. although it seems that real arctic fox diets don't really demand many fruits and veggies.. Still, Natquik seems more likely to have contracted scurvy at one point then Calico Jack :(
Tumblr media
:DDD THANK YOU! And boy do I have a lot of that XD
Tumblr media
I do have many theories/headcannons yes!.. Although I think I'll keep those tucked away in my brain for now- :x
Tumblr media
@citrusfruitman
(Post in question)
XDD I sat on the first ask for a while because I was intending to draw something for it. But I'm realizing now that I might not ever draw it so--
What was going on in that drawing is an evil Undyne threw a spear at the group while they were passing by. Seam was struck in the head by it and was killed.. hence the blood splatter on her face. (My darkeners bleed)
BUT ITS OKAY! Through some uh... very dark methods- Frisk was able to reset to a few moments before and pull Seam out of the way. Then she got into a brawl with the evil Undyne no doubt <XD
Tumblr media
I have, and uh, I'm not so sure about the whole "in character" thing.. or at least its not the character I imagined Fazbear Entertainment would be- <XD
Tumblr media
It just means they're both rough and tough and their hands get beat up a lot. Kwazii gets them beat from scraping them on stuff and dealing with dangerous creatures while on missions. And Calico Jack gets them from scraping them on stuff and.. dealing with dangerous creatures while on adventures XDD
Tumblr media
@spinelfan11
Tumblr media
XDD I have now! What an odd specimen..
(Also thank you! :DDD)
Tumblr media
@milk-powrit
Its hard to explain exactly why I don't like them.. But I don't like them-
I guess it feels kind'a.. mary sue-ish..? If that makes sense? Or at least having all these sans' that act nothing like the original sans is kind'a off putting? I guess? Not to mention loads of them are shipped together- uhg idk- Its hard to explain but I don't vibe with them personally. So I didn't add them to my au :/
Tumblr media
@abaroo
OOOO THAT'S A GOOD IDEA!! :000 I like how it creates a spin on Grillby and River. While Jevil intentionally grabbed Grillby's hand and saved him, and River was dragged along by mistake.. Frisk CHOSE to follow Jevil, it wasn't his doing at all this time. That's a really cool thing to experiment with!
I'll have to look into this idea, thank you for sharing! And thank you for the complements! AND happy new year to you too! XDD
Tumblr media
@the-great-bonkings
XDD For receiving hugs? I'd say he's about a 11/10 sometimes, maybe a 6/10 other times. Its harder to hug him comfortably if you're significantly shorter/smaller than he is. But if ur the right size his hugs will just fix all your problems 🥺
As for giving hugs? It might be about the same. But I can see him giving them out only to people he's really close to. Otherwise a tender yet professional hand on the shoulder seems more his style.
XD And I see the prompt there, perhaps I'll have to draw that sometime!
Tumblr media
@tanileaf
Tumblr media
YOU LIKE? :DDD THANK YOU! I'M SO GLAD!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Aww shucks 😊 Thank you!
Tumblr media
@khoiazo
Whaaaat?? Nooo Its not traumaaa,,🥺 its character development!😇
Tumblr media
TRUEEEEE
Tumblr media
I do! I'll have to post more about them sometime-- 👀👀
Tumblr media
@cudlycorncornsworthcoberson
Tumblr media
WAAAA THANK YIOU SO MUCH!!! IM SO GLAD YOUY LIKE MY OCTONAUTS SILLIES 💖💖😭💖

I would like to offer this resource for therians, an extensive list of all of Sir David Attenborough’s nature documentaries that are available on soap2day, and a full list of what species* they each (notably, prominently) feature the natural behaviors of, separated by episode, and omitting species that were only shown dead, juvenile or being predated on. This took me a while (I have been working on it since Prehistoric Planet’s release) because I did in fact have to watch every single series in full in order to list all the species and the episodes are around 50 minutes long, but enjoy.
Long post ahead:
Most of these shows have closed captioning, which is why I’ve picked soap2day. Planet Earth is the only one that doesn’t. I did not include Dynasties and Dynasties II because each episode only features one species.
Thank you to Birch (@ambiguousmutt) for his help (he watched about half of the episodes) so I didn’t have to do it individually. Credit goes to him as well.
*Sometimes Attenborough doesn’t say the specific species and I was too busy trying to get through the episodes to identify it. In those cases I just put the most specific name I could.

EPIC RAP BATTLES OF HISTORYYYYY!
Sir! Ernest! Shackleton!
VERSUS!
Captain Scooooott!
BEGIN!
Scott:
Great God! A rap battle with my former friend Can only end with this fool getting sent home again! So go on, run on home, seems that’s what you do best While I’m hanging these medals on my navy vest Your close calls sell books, it’s my science that fills them Dropping that knowledge with my man Doc Wilson! I got a movie! It’s a classic! It’s a work of art! A&E cast you as Professor Lockhart! So take that caveman face back to Ireland, clown Or just like your ship, you’ll be trapped And going down! You may shoot your dogs and eat them for lunch But you’ll never dodge Captain Falcon’s punch! Then I’ll run you over with my tractor treads Scott of the Antarctic, With a century of street cred!
Shackleton:
That’s tough talk from a chap famous for losing a race Are those silver medals? ‘Cause you took second place! All you left’s a pretty diary, from a deadly trip And your movie? Just roll the Monty Python clip! Me, I’m the polar knight and the leader supreme Sailing 800 miles with my boy Tom Crean
The tide has turned and you just can’t stop this Your Terra Nova project was worse than Fox’s! It’s a new century, Con, and I’m bigger than you In the books, on TV, just call it Shack Fu! This battle’s over, go back to One Ton Great Scott, the winner? My name is—
Amundsen:
AMUNDSEN! A century on, you’re still fighting like twits? When the history books show that I beat the Brits? Got respect for you both, glad your stories were told, But no love for the ACTUAL first to the pole? Call me Xanatos, cause I’m a master planner! Amundsen in first with the Nordic banner! I leave nothing to chance and my rhymes are savage After 300 years, found the northwest passage! I’m the Edwardian Viking with the Inuit skill Rolling in my airship with that steampunk chill Haters thought a plane crash was the end of Roald? Stand aside and behold the Napoleon of the POOOOOOLES!

Boyfriend of apollo I need more about Point Nemo. Please infodump. Be mentally ill I'm so invested and interested - 🥺🔥
OKAY SO. the thing about point nemo is that like. not much is known about it, which makes sense. it's isolated, hard to get to, and if anything goes wrong, the chances of rescue are Thin because of the fact that literal astronauts in space are closer to you than any eathbound people. however! there was a really interesting phenomena that occurred nearby once
so, as i mentioned before, when writing his cthulhu mythos, lovecraft got WEIRDLY close to the actual location of point nemo for a place that wouldn't be founded until like, 60+ years later. keep this in mind.
in 1997, one of the loudest recorded underwater sounds was heard, which you can hear for yourself here [link]. the sound seemed to emanate from the approximate area of point nemo and was deemed the bloop, which is SUCH a cute name for something that sounds like That. now, at the time NO ONE knew what the fuck this thing was. theories ranged from bombs to military weapons testing to all kinds of crazy stuff. and, obviously, the most prominent theory was that it was generated by some sort of animal/creature. sperm whales can create frequencies so powerful they could potentially kill a human, and blue whales' calls are able to be heard from 800 km away, so it wasn't necessarily impossible that this sound was organic, too. i bring up cthulhu above because this thing spawned SO many conspiracy theories about aliens, or underwater civilizations we could barely fathom, or, as mentioned, literal cthulu. i think fox news did an interview on it once where they said they believed it was aliens. to no one's surprise
well, in 2005 we got our answer! the bloop wasn't caused by some eldritch monster or government weapons testing conspiracy. it was just an icequake! a HUGE chunk of ice (like, iceberg-sized chunk) had broken from the antarctic glacier, and that was the noise that its breaking off produced! some people still act like it's this huge terrifying mystery to this day, but it was just global warming </3

No this is Pinterest what are you talking about

This is one of the nicer comments I’ve gotten relating to my stance on not liking fanart. I have had people call me childish, selfish, and even toxic for simply being uncomfortable with strangers drawing things I made/designed.
I’m not the only one whos like this, a lot of people have come out in my comments and said they’re the same way. Some people are just so bent up that I don’t like fanart of my personal works its ridiculous-
What sucks even more is that I am actively trying to get better about this. I’ve gotten to the point where close friends can now draw fanart with permission and even follow my blog. Yet I still get people calling me horrible things for not liking fanart of my personal works. My frustration is immeasurable.

They cant feel bad if they never find out hehehfjfnkfk

My advice would be to generate a prompt with this random prompt generator and draw some OCs/characters with it. If you don’t really have the drive to draw any complicated characters just draw some stick figures. That usually helps me get the creative juices flowing again :0

Foxy did not attack Bonnie. :0 Foxy was decommissioned, and then sometime later Bonnie was destroyed and decommissioned as well. What ever or who ever damaged Bonnie was not Foxy..
And Foxy didn’t damage the staff bot. The fear in that scene was that what ever damaged the staff bot was somewhere out there in the basement.. and Foxy was out there with it. Foxy is in danger... but then he comes back right at that moment so it was fine XD

Well, Professor Natquik was stranded in the Antarctic for years. I figured any food that he ate had to have been caught/grown by him and cooked/prepared by him. He probably didn’t have access to any spices or seasoning or really anything. He was just eating what he could to survive. That doesn’t exactly sound like a lovely home cooked meal does it..
And I figured Calico Jack was the same. For a long while he was kind’a stranded in the Amazon river. The food he ate was anything he could get his hands on really. And I bet anything he cooked didn’t taste quite as nice as a good ol home cooked meal.
Which is why they both got so emotional with Marsh’s soup. Its been a long time since either of them has been in a cozy and safe environment and was served a warm meal..

ooooo! She’s a fox! :DD I like her! And honestly I’m not sure about any criticisms or opinions. I’ve been known to be poor with criticism and secretive about my opinions <XD

I’ve never heard of Starlow :0 But! Bowser JR isn’t a runaway, he’s pretty content at the castle with his brothers and sister! :}
I pictured him being a lot younger than in canon though. Like, maybe a toddler. I liked the idea of him being really small too. Small enough to fit in the palm of Bowsers hand 💗😭💗

XD I’m not THAT evil! I didn’t have any crazy horrible life threatening situations in mind for them. I was thinking more like Calico Jacks phantom pains, Ranger Marsh’s shoulder injury and Natquik’s poor eye sight being the main things to make some angst about XD
Tumblr media
XD No problem!

@veltosm4ster
They will have existed at some point in my AU for sure. Whether or not they’re still around today is undecided..
Tumblr media
@the-cactus-taco
I’ve seen fanart of the Pizza tower guy going around... he looks very stressed-
Tumblr media
XD Poor Luigi. Waluigi is his species’ equivalent of 6ft 8in tall

XD What can I say, the Octo-dads dragged me back by the ankle

@okkks-blog
Peach and Daisy are by default stronger than most humans due to their size. Peach could probably lift more than Mario can and Daisy could lift double that :0
Tumblr media
@drawingdragon7
I’m not familiar with these fruits :0 ... but I’m sure Yoshi could go find them himself,
Tumblr media
Oh that’s simple, the Super Crown isn’t in my AU at all! :D It simply does not exist. There isn’t a way I can fit it into my AU that would make sense.
The closest thing I could get to it is a crown that would turn Mario and Luigi into the same species as Peach. But they wouldn’t turn into women like Toadette does. They would stay male and just change species. But even then! Something like that doesn’t exist in my AU.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
thats so cool tnk u-
Tumblr media
The next part in the story is likely going to expand on Foxy’s anxiety and stuff with Bonnie too :0
Tumblr media
@arandomguynamedbob
I imagined the land itself to be very infertile. Its swampy and gross in some areas and dry and deserty in others. Just, ick.
The residents are Koopa Troopas. And I imagined them all to be relatively normal people. The Koopa Troops are not all just monsters for no reason. They’re just people trying to survive like everyone else is. I can imagine parts of Bowsers kingdom that are poor.. you would see Koopa kids playing in the mud and swimming in the swamp.
I haven’t really developed the kingdom much more than that-
Tumblr media
@itschrisboys
Peach does WHAT
Tumblr media
OOO THATS SO SAD!! BUT MAN WHY DO THINGS IN MY AU GOTTA BE SET ALREADY AHIAIJF
Bowser is too scared to leave his kingdom at this point. Mario is unlike anything he’s ever encountered before.. if he was gonna try to kill him, he would try to lure Mario somewhere where he can overpower him with his Koopa troops. Even then, Bowser isn’t really in a hurry to try and fight Mario again-
Tumblr media
@burningcollectionsandwich
Yooo thats so scary! :000 If only I had thought of something like that!! AHG! Unfortunately King Boos story is already set in stone pretty much.. the bros stumble into his mansion, he finds out they can use Power-ups, he collectively poops his entire pants, and then politely kicks them out <XD

You're from Finland? One of my characters is a creature from Finnish mythology (a tulikko)! To make this related to fish, ... FINland...? I think cold water fish are underrated. My favourite are Channichthyidae. Silly strange fish...
Yes I am! Worked out for me quite well, people on this webbed sight seem to get a kick out of the fact that I like fish and live in FINland. I wish to say that the joke works in Finnish too, Suomi is the name of my land and suomu is the name of the scale of the fish! Scale-place :) Hey, good use of the northern lights fox!! If you don't mind, I would like to see this character, I appreciate both mythology and character-making, especially when they're combined! Most of all I love seeing my mythology being used out there :D
I agree! Coldwater fish of the Arctic and Antarctic are seldom talked about. They're adapted to extremely harsh conditions!!! In a way, similar to deep sea fish, but those are a bit (a lot?) more well known. They don't even know that icefish lack hemoglobin from their blood!!! All fish deserve love in my opinion, the fish of the icy cold depths need to be loved too!

Hey, if you’re still doing those Overwatch fanteractions, could you please try making some for Kiriko and Mei? (I can’t be the only one that ships them! The interactions don’t have to be shippy if you don’t do that, but if you do, y’know…)
Yeah I don't really get shippy vibes from them, sorry. But it looks like... *checks tags* two or three other people ship them? So you got that going for ya.
----
Kiriko: Saving the whole world, huh? Sometimes I feel like I've got my hands full with just one neighborhood.
Mei: But when you work that small, you get to see your impacts a lot more clearly, right?
Kiriko: ...I guess so! Heh. Never thought about it that way.
----
Mei: I'm still trying to figure out your fox's species....
Kiriko: It's... a spirit fox. It's more about the 'idea' of fox, I guess? *under her breath* It's also kind of a god.
Mei: What was that?
Kiriko: Nothing! Nothing... world-breaking or scientifically impossible! That's for sure!
----
Kiriko: I don't know how you do it, Mei, how do you... keep going when it feels like no one else cares?
Mei: It kind of becomes instinct when you wake up and realize you've been left for dead in an antarctic hinterland.
Kiriko. Okay. Puts things in perspective...
