“Raven!”

She turned around at the sound of her name, seeing the Boy Wonder jogging down the hallway towards her. “Robin. What’s going on?”

“Nothing, just, uh…” He’d caught up to her and scratched the back of his neck. “Well…walk with me for a minute, will you?”

“Sure,” she said hesitantly. Though she had no reason not to, they were obviously going in the same direction, something about the way he was acting was a little strange. Like he was nervous about something.

Raven was glad her hood was already up, because she suddenly felt anxious. He’d better start talking soon or she would assume the worst.

“So…” Robin started, hands in his pockets. “...we might be having a…visitor. Soon.”

She raised an eyebrow. Okay. Already feeling better about this conversation. “Who?”

“Someone from my old life.” He was glancing up and down the hallway like one of the other Titans might overhear.

“Your old life,” Raven repeated. “So…Batman?”

“Shh!” Robin put a gloved finger to her lips, just for a moment. “I don’t want anyone else to know until I’m sure he’s coming. All he made was an offhand comment, not a plan.”

“Alright, sure.” She was once again glad for the hood, because she knew she was blushing a little bit from that physical contact. “Why tell me, then?”

He chuckled. “Well…I wanted to tell someone. And you know my history better than anyone else here,” he answered with a shrug. “Plus I trust you not to say anything.”

Why did normal sentences sound like charming compliments coming from his mouth? Raven frowned at that thought, frustrated by her nonsensical crush. “Did he say why he might visit? Or is he just checking on you?”

“Convenience, I think,” Robin answered quickly. “He has a business meeting in the city so it wouldn’t be a long trip.”

They’d reached Raven’s room and stopped walking, but Raven wasn’t sure if they were done with the conversation. It was so rare for Batman or Gotham City to come up with Robin, despite the formative years he’d spent there. She always assumed it was a sore subject - that he didn’t want to talk to or about Batman or Batgirl or anyone else from that part of his life. Maybe she’d misinterpreted.

“Are you…excited?” she asked quietly. “I can’t really tell how you’re feeling.”

“I’m honestly not sure. I haven’t seen him in a really long time.” Robin exhaled loudly through his nose. “I haven’t wanted to see him for a long time, either.”

She understood that feeling very well - it was exactly how she’d felt about her mother after leaving Azarath. “Just let me know if I should make him feel welcome or not,” she said with a small smile.

Robin laughed, a sound that made Raven’s heart jump just the slightest bit. “Thanks, Raven. I’ll let you know as soon as I hear from him again.”

She just nodded in response, giving him a small wave as she finally entered her bedroom. The two of them had grown a lot closer ever since she entered his mind - which made sense, of course, but the butterflies in her stomach couldn’t be settled with logic. Being Robin’s confidante was still something she was getting used to.

It was nice, though. Being trusted so fully and completely. She’d never felt that from anyone else in her life - certainly not anyone on Azarath, and all the other Titans had had at least a few moments of concern during their time together.

But not him.

Pokemon trainer peter please 🥰🥰🥰🥰💃🕺💃

I'll admit, I was ill-prepared for this prompt. Hahaha. I don't actually know all that much about Pokemon but I was able to employ my teenagers for some assistance in the matter. All in all, I think I did a pretty okay job of setting up a Pokemon AU in this mini-fic. (should anyone wish to adopt/continue it, they are more than welcome to!)

Anyway, here it is at just under the 1k limit. 797 words!

Rotom Round-Up

“Ah, there you are. My last appointment of the day,” Professor Stark said as Peter stepped into his office. “And here I thought you weren’t going to show up.”

“Sorry, sir,” Peter sheepishly stated. He’d only been three minutes late but it felt as though he’d left the professor waiting for hours.

“Eh. No need to apologize, Mr. Parker. The point is, you’re here now,” Stark replied with a flippant wave of his hand. “Have you put any thought into which Pokémon you’ll choose to accompany you on your journey?”

Peter perked up at the question “Yeah!,” he happily replied. He’d given it a lot of thought. Years worth of thought. He’d been studying Pokémon at a near-university level for the last several years. He knew the pros and cons of every single option. He opened his mouth to say as much, but the professor was already talking over him.

“Great. In that case, let’s get started,” he said, pulling three pokéballs out of his pocket and releasing the Pokémon inside one by one. “Snivy, Tepig and Oshawott. What’s your fancy, Kiddo?”

Peter watched in awe as the three small Pokémon danced in front of them. Then a small movement in the corner of the room grabbed his attention. It was the most adorable Tarountula he’s ever seen. Rather than its usual white and green, it was a combination of deep red and navy blue. “A shiny!” he gasped, the words, escaping his mouth before he could stop them.

“What?” Stark questioned, looking between Peter and the three standard Pokémon. “I thought you said you’d done your research, Kid. None of these are shiny.”

“No,” Peter replied, with a shake of his head. “That one. The bug type, that looks like a round little spider! It’s shiny! Can I have that one?”

The professor’s gaze followed Peter’s eagerly pointing finger until it fell onto the red and blue Tarountula at the end room. “Oh.That guy,” he said thoughtfully. “Yeah, that’s not a starter, kid. You should know that.”

“I do!” Peter eagerly returned. “But he could be, right? I mean for the right trainer. Maybe that’s me. They’re my favorite, and I know all about them. I can tell you whatever you want.”

“Look, kid,” Tony sighed, his fingers moving upward to pinch the bridge of his nose. “I’m not handing over a shiny Tarountula to a brand new trainer.” A beat passed, then he added a dubious, “Unless.”

“Unless what?” Peter implored.

“Well, if you’re as smart as you say you are, maybe you could help me out with something I’ve got going on in the lab,” he said. “If you prove yourself useful, the Tarountula can be all yours.”

“What do I have to do?” Peter asked, barely containing his excitement. He couldn’t believe he was being invited into Professor Stark’s lab.

Tony hummed and waved Peter though a pair of heavy metal doors and into a huge sprawling laboratory. There were machines everywhere and scattered around them were dozens of spark-like Rotoms. His mouth gaped open as they zipped around the room.

“Yeah,” Tony sighed. “So, as you can see, I’ve got something of a problem. All thirty-four Rotoms that were being stored here, were inadvertently released early this morning. I’ve managed to contain eleven of them myself. But I’m a busy man. Think you could find the other twenty-three?”

“By myself?” Peter asked.

The professor tilted his head to the side clicked his tongue. “Not completely,” he wavered, then whistled until a large robotic looking Pokémon joined him by his side. “My buddy, here, DUM-E could help you.”

“Oh wow!” Peter exclaimed, reaching out to pat the Pokémon on the head. “That’s the biggest Magneton I’ve ever seen!”

“I know,” Tony smirked as he threw open a cabinet full of trainer supplies. “Anyway, I’ve got things to do. Here’re your pokéballs. Come find me when you’re done,” he said all in one breath. “Or when you give up. Whichever happens first.”

Peter accepted the large bag of pokéballs and grinned. “I’ve got this sir!” he said. “Come on DUM-E! Let’s go!”

The first six were easy to catch. The next four were a bit more difficult. However, he still had thirteen more to go. The problem was that Rotoms were known for being mischievous. Perhaps more so for their ability to take over appliances, thus changing their abilities. And, oh boy, there were a lot of appliances within the professor's lab.

“What do you think DUM-E? Where else can we look?” Peter asked after making his way around the lab at least three times.

The Magneton brought them into the breakroom and hovered near the microwave and refrigerator.

“Got it,” Peter replied, knowing exactly what his new friend was implying. He could see the Rotoms taunting smiles within the appliances and readied his next pokeball.

“Where to next, DUM-E?” he asked once he’d successfully captured those two.

DUM-E happily ushed him into another area where Peter caught three more. And from there, he followed DUM-E around the room until they had tracked down all the remaining Rotoms. When he was sure he was done, he triumphantly carried himself over to where the professor was working.

“You’re done?” Stark dubiously inquired. Peter nodded his head. “Already?”

“DUM-E and I make a good team,” Peter shrugged. “Can I have the Tarountula now?”

The professor chuckled, fondly shook his head. “Sure, Kid. He’s all yours,” he said, as he led Peter over to where the waiting Tarountula. “What are you going to call him?”

Peter laughed as the Pokémon happily climbed from his arm to his shoulder and then up to the top of his head. “I think-” he said, pausing as he gave the nickname some added thought. Then he smiled broadly and encouraged the Tarountula to drop down into his hands. “I’ll call him Spidey”

PERMANENT RELATIONSHIP CALL - DONALD DUCK

Hello there! You wanna be friends with this son of a duck? I mean look at that face, he's a totally lovable guy! Lord knows he needs friends he spends most of his free time alone on a ship for Pete's sake.

Anyways, this is a call to anyone who I’ve threaded with, or would like to thread in the future! By liking the post, it’ll signal to me that you’re interested in having a long standing relationship with Donald. This can/will include stuff like:

Oh dang you’re serious! Cool! Anyways, here’s the deets:

The most common one will likely be a Father Figure type to your muse. Have some parental issues? Well look no further than a duck who’s a pretty gosh dang good father all things considered. Whether your father is dead, or possibly wants you dead here’s a lovely man to suit the void in your muses’ soul. He will not hesitate to adopt just about anyone. Usually just metaphorically... but also...

We could also have a bit of a Mentor/Mentee relationship. Basically being more of a classic Uncle Donald type where he’ll offer his support whenever it is needed. This has more of a focus on teaching, however, it ropes in with the previous dynamic. This would be applicable if you’d ever want to work on Donalds ship too as an apprentice. I think it’s fun for him to pass on his adventuring wisdom too.

Maybe your muse has a healthy relationship with their living parents (that sounds unrealistic) and just needs a pal. Donald can just be a Casual and/or Close Friend! He does drink, though not a lot, and can do just about anything that’s normal. To those who are closer to his age he’ll happily show kindness to (he might still be a little bit of a dad anyways. He can’t help himself ok).

There’s also the possibility of being a Rival, Enemy, or a Foil to be used by other characters to inflict pain... which seems unlikely but I can dream can’t I? It takes a whole lot to get on his bad side, but if your muse happens to choose to hurt others, then yeah Donalds gonna do what he can to stop ya. This one would be more of a ‘plotting’ thing especially, but I’m just putting it out that I am open to it. You’ll have to message me for this one, though.

For purpose of fairness, anyone is welcome to Adopt Him to. LOL he probably won’t even realize that he’s been adopted, but if you would like to care for the duck... yeah, he’s been super touched starved lately ngl. It’s super easy for him to overwork himself, or overstress himself and well, he’s just a little too independent for his own good. Being a single dad to three kids at 25 will do that to ya.

For the record, I’m not interested in shipping with anyone who isn’t named Daisy Duck, for no other reason than they’re literally perfect for each other in the series... ignore the fact I put his canon point back before her intro. Point is, being romantically involved is off the table, but if Ducks are your thing, I’m cool with him being flirted to LOL (he’s also just not really looking for it? If you need some relationship advice though... he’ll do his best??)

Last thing, you don’t have to message me with which one you want either (except for the enemy one)!! This is just a general list of what I’m open to, but if you want to do something that’s not on the list that’s a-ok with me to! Donalds a versatile character, so just about any and all things could apply to him. Plus for most muses, I kind of already have a sense of what he thinks of ‘em.

SPEED

I’m constantly lurking on dash when we always have the tab on if we do something else, though our dash is generally very slow, so it’s easy for me to not come on here constantly as I have a thing of not wanting to be behind on how everyone’s doing. I like seeing how my friends are doing and supporting them. We are in college having one class on Tuesday and Wednesday, as well as we sometimes focus working on God Exits in our little corner, as well as we are extremely easy to be exhausted or distracted, so I am not always available to reply out of character or in character. Some days I just don’t feel like doing either, but generally, I’m still quite slow to communicate unless we interact daily because of our chemistry. Having emotional detachment makes it extremely difficult for me to connect with anyone on here but literally one person who I interact in dms daily ( blows kiss to Jess / mavzone ), so I am hard to reach out and connect with, but just know if we are mutuals, I do genuinely enjoy having you around and love interacting with you in some shape or form. I’m super duper chill on here with my pace and... everything.

REPLIES

What I focus on and when I reply is unpredictable, really. Some days I may focus on only prompts, some days may be only drafts, the rest I do both or don’t at all; and no one including myself knows what that day may be happening. It’s the same with when I reply to a draft or prompt, it can take a few minutes to honestly months. On average though, a few days to three weeks at the very least, unless we happen to be personally close / have great chemistry, then I tend to reply within a few hours to days. My grasp on time is extremely weak, so, for an example, I may think I would be replying to a thread a few days late but it’s actually a few weeks. Generally, I have a very poor grasp on reality so everything often goes by a bit too fast for me to keep track of the durations and such. Again, in the end, what I do is unpredictable as I usually go with the flow of what my time and energy can let me do.

STARTERS

I do post starter calls but it’s an extremely rare case. It’s even more rare of actually doing it for at least few interested people, if not everyone, because of motivation and/or usually not really knowing how to establish a setting / purpose of the thread that would make sense for both my and the other’s muses. Yet I don’t like to do this personally because I had a lot of people who would get my starters yet never replied, so it’s just a big waste of time and energy for me. If you like my calls yet don’t end up replying to the old starter(s) I make for you, then I’m not doing it, simple as that. I sometimes write random starters, especially based on part of the conversation or comment and I very much welcome being written one, if you can excuse the slow pace. I do often like other people’s starter calls if I don’t have a lot drafts going on.

INBOX

Prompts is definitely THE best way for me to use as icebreakers or turning them into threads, regardless if they’re sent from newest to oldest mutuals. Starter calls or plotting calls just to set up a thread and not flesh out dynamics / plots just don’t work as well as prompts does for me. I definitely answer prompts from new mutuals as soon as they are sent to me and it’s a bonus if they’re sent unprompted to show me that they’re genuinely interested in interacting as opposed to follow for follow. I am always open for unprompted or personalized asks and I tend to send either out to those who are close to me / with their muse(s) having close dynamics with mine whenever I can have the energy to do so. I sometimes post inbox call for me to send out 2-3 prompts to interested mutuals.

SELECTIVITY

Extremely selective, truly... Obviously, I don’t interact with any -ist and -phobic, any assholes and dumbasses, weirdos, we all know What kind of people, but I am Extremely Wary™ of the RPC nowadays, especially after having to see a lot of old mutuals had silently cut me off around the time Yancy came into being and I wasn’t fully present on here / Yancy co-fronted with me on here or I was constantly talking about Yancy and my OSDD-1b ( as well as having an anon basically telling me I was faking having OSDD-1b a day before my birthday ), and most of those people were the ones who I would really try to provide a lot of positivity and interaction interest, so I’m heavily clinging to the idea that a lot of people on here don’t actually value their “””friendships””” and support mentally ill people ( unless they have anxiety or/and depression!!!!! ) for me to be very cautious with who I want to interact with. While I do end up softblocking new mutuals if we haven’t done much after a week ( especially if they happen to follow us first ), I’m also generally easy to softblock new mutuals anyway, to be honest. It’s easy for me to sense the possible chemistry based on how they are on my dash actively as opposed to peeking into their blog every now and then, so if I don’t see we’d vibe well, I’m out. One time, I had softblocked someone even when I was only mutuals with them in under an hour because I end up just not feeling the chemistry with them and I still think that’s more than valid. A lot of people would find me fake when I try to be very bubbly and friendly, but it’s whatever if these things are done simply for the sake of my comfort.

HONEST NOTE

I’m simply here to chill with Yancy being my personal cheerleader. I really don’t want anyone to constantly apologize to me for the quick / late replies or feel obligated to do anything I may ask for or be mutuals with us still. My emotional detachment makes it a lot easier for me to just not a give a damn about a lot of things in general, so always do what makes you most happy and comfortable. I know I, along with Yancy, can be a lot with our overly bubbly energy but while I do it to help me not be surrounded by my constant inner numbness made by the emotional detachment, Yancy being overly prideful and loud to make me look forward to anything / be more confidence ( and I know I can come across as emotionally distant ), we’re just trying to get through our life doing the best we can, truly. Guidelines

Hello there! Here we are again, because I love this muse and refuse to let him be ruined. A bit of craziness made me leave, three times, and it's not going to happen again. I've decided to tweak the rules a little bit, reword things a little and whatnot, so I'll apologize now if things sound harsh, but...well, that's a small apology, because apparently harsh is what I need to do. So, here goes:

This is an independent blog. I like to avoid any sort of fandom drama, and even though I know the inFamous crowd is relatively small nowadays, I'm still going to say I'm not directly affiliated with them.

I don't do OOC drama. If you're the type to start it, or enjoy being involved in it, good for you but please keep it away from me.

If you don't like something I'm doing, the unfollow button exists. The block feature exists. Use them. If it's something I can work on, by all means, I am willing to talk about it like adults, but otherwise? Move along.

On the subject of fandoms: I do not care which you're in, or whether I know a single thing about it. I am very open to crossovers and absolutely adore writing the most unlikely of meetings, or creating verses and exploring different aspects of my muse when he's centered in another universe, and so forth. Please, come at me!

The same goes for OCs. I don't expect OCs to be perfectly polished and whatever. A lot of aspects can show and solidify as they interact with other characters and situations, and I am all about being part of that. So, yeah, OCs? Bring 'em here, let me love them.

Shipping: As much as I want to, I'm not going to say that I won't ship on this blog. Things happen, muses mesh - I'm not going to shoot it down if the chemistry is there and everyone is on board. Just know I'm...a little gun shy, so to speak, about shipping this muse, so it might take me a bit to really get behind it. Once I do, though, god help you. I will bombard you with random crap about our ship until you're absolutely sick of me.

Please do not force ships. That is all.

Replies may be slow. I work a lot, but I'll always try to pop on at least once a day. Whether I just lurk, send memes, or actually write, though... it'll vary by day. Patience is appreciated.

Minor godmodding is okay. Things like, assuming my muse passed yours something when prompted in a thread is generally okay. If I had a different plan, I'll definitely let you know but for the most part, it's cool. Anything more than that, and it'll be a problem

I will not write with anyone under 18. I myself am 21+ and it weirds me out, so for my own comfort, I prefer not to write with minors. Also, I am not going to shy away from subjects that may venture into 'adults only' territory - I'm not against smut, if things work out for it, down for violence and foul language, dark themes, and so on - so that's yet another reason I say 18+. Do not lie about your age. If I find out you have, I will block you, no questions asked.

I read everyone's rules and about pages, if they're available. Common courtesy, as far as I'm concerned, so I always make a point to do so.

This year's Shadow's Eve, like most in the now 100% adult Kresnik household, lacked any excitement. They had treats to snack on and Ludger delivered some to the neighbors, but Julius never left the house. Inviting people over also went nowhere: Nova got invited to a class reunion Shadows' Eve party, and Zig wouldn't make it back until tomorrow.

It'd be their tiny family all night.

That just left watching a scary movie marathon on TV waiting for the cake to finish rising. Commercials weren't as frequent on the channel they chose, but the times they did pop up? All of them mentioned a pumpkin spice something. Pumpkin spice coffee, bread, muffins, soup... Every year, companies found new ways to add pumpkin spice to their product.

By the tenth pumpkin spice-related commercial in a row, Koun's patience for those two words ran out. Both Ludger and Julius laughed, though Ludger had the decency to explain their reaction, "Welcome to TV during Shadow's Eve season. If this were ten years ago, we'd be watching the same three commercials for pumpkin spice coffee and pumpkin pie."

"Same went for horror movies; you'd see the same five or so," Oh boy, Julius' nostalgic look was here. This could end bad for Ludger's dignity. "I remember when they'd play a commercial for Bloodlust and Ludger used to hide in my lap and ask me when it was over."

Again with the embarrassing stories of his childhood! Did Julius write this stuff down to keep whipping these old memories out? "Imagine being ten and thinking a super virus could turn anyone into mindless killers that bathed in the blood of their victims!" Ludger still believed in the Tooth Spirit; a super virus sounded just as believable! "And don't pretend like you didn't make it worse! You told me that if I didn't wash my hands enough, it could stick to me and spread Bloodlust to both of us!"

"Did I say that?" That liar was totally smiling as he oh-so-innocently asked. "Scary or not, it taught good hygiene didn't it? Sometimes the best lessons are applied with drastic consequences."

Ludger huffed and let this jerk sit on his high horse. Though in all this arguing, they sort of lost the original talking point: too much Pumpkin Spice Season. "Ignoring someone who thinks he's funny, what sort of Autumn tasted do you like, Lord Koun? Maybe that'll get the Pumpkin Spice out of your mind." Like ginger, or Ludger's personal Autumn favorite, maple!

A monarch butterfly fluttered down onto the handle of Patton's wicker basket. It was so picturesque he couldn't resist reaching for his phone. Just as the last notes to the extended theme played several things happened at once, all during the blink of the human's eye. There was a goosebump raising birdcall that sounded terribly like a human scream. Patton's heart skipped a beat. The bird startled into flight, leaving an explosive feathered wake of red and black. Patton's eyes locked unwaveringly with the wicker lid, which had fallen shut. He fumbled for his volume button until the only sound was distant birdcall and his own rapid heartbeat.

When his heart had returned from his throat the human peered tentatively at the basket behind rounded glasses.

He could tell in the newfound silence that a whisper of movement was coming from the basket.

A/N: look I’m confused too 😂 but I’ve found myself a tad obsessed with Zemo the last couple of weeks, and this just kinda happened. I don’t know if there’ll be a big audience for this, but if anyone has any Zemo requests, send them on in and I’d be excited to give them a go! Also, since Sokovian isn’t a real language, I went with a tiny bit of google translated Latvian as a substitute!

Sam and Bucky had asked you to keep an eye on Zemo while they went back inside to grab some weapons before you guys left for the docks. You were missing the warmth of the party now you were outside. The night air was biting at your skin as you stood outside Sharon’s place. The skimpy dress she’d told you to wear to fit in with the crowd was fine while you were inside, but now you were out in the night, it wasn’t so great.

You tried to muscle through it, but the occasional shiver wracked through your body, prompting you to quietly hiss at the cold.

Evidently, Zemo noticed.

“Would you like my coat?” He offered, starting to shrug the coat off his shoulders

“No, thank you, Zemo.” You shook your head and held a hand up before crossing it over your chest in an attempt to conserve some warmth.

“Please, call me Helmut.” He drawled, and you looked at him in disbelief for a split second before composing yourself.

“I think I’ll stick with Zemo.” You pursed your lips and looked away.

You were having some conflicted feelings about Zemo recently. As far as you were concerned, he was a bit of an asshole. After all, this was the same man who tore your friends apart only a few years back.

But here he was, flying you guys around in a private jet, acting like you’re all best friends. He’d taken a particular liking to you, which concerned but intrigued you at the same time.

You didn’t want to admit to yourself that you were falling for him. Jesus, the awful things he put your friends through should be enough to turn you off him completely. And yet...

For starters, he was an attractive guy. You couldn’t deny that. You’d caught yourself staring at his hair several times. You wanted to run your fingers through it, tug on it... something. And the little bit of scruff he had been sporting too? You’d thought about that a bit too much.

And his accent... it had an effect on you, for sure. He could read a phone directory to you and you’d probably hang onto every number. You especially liked when he spoke Sokovian. You had no idea what he ever said, but you had noticed he’d use the occasional word when talking to you, or referring to you to someone else. You’d have to ask him about those at some point.

And for a dangerous criminal, he sure danced like a dork at Sharon’s place. You watched him from the bar as he was seemingly in a world of his own on the dance floor. At one point he caught your attention and beckoned you to join him, but you simply raised your glass at him and stayed put, smirking as he carried on.

While you were lost in your thoughts, you failed to notice Zemo shuck off his coat, and the next thing you knew, you felt the soft fur of the collar around your neck. You desperately wanted to protest but the coat was so warm, both in itself and because Zemo had been wearing it just moments before. The smell of his cologne lingered in it too, and you tried your best to ignore it.

“...thank you.” You murmur as you slip your arms into the sleeves and wrap the coat around you properly.

“It is my pleasure, mīļā.” He flashes a smile at you and you turn away, hoping he doesn’t catch your shy smile and the blush creeping up your face.

When Sam and Bucky finally return, they both narrow their eyes at Zemo when they see you’re wearing his coat.

“The lady was cold, I did what any gentleman would do.” He smirked as you all started walking down the street.

“Gentleman... sure.” Sam didn’t look convinced, and you chuckled at the look he gave Zemo.

You walked down the street and Sharon pulled up in a car, gesturing for you all to get in. Sam was closest to the passenger door so he just got in the front of the car, leaving you to squeeze in the back with Bucky and Zemo.

You rolled your eyes at the way Zemo’s face brightened up at the prospect of being so close to you in the car, but you found yourself hiding a small smile too. You edged yourself a little closer to Bucky though, and once he realised how close you and Zemo were, he shuffled himself as close to his door as he could, giving you some room to move.

The journey to the docks took a fair while, but it dragged on tortuously with Zemo sat so close to you. You started to get hot in his coat quite quickly, but there was no room to move in the car for you to take it off, so you just had to stay in it. You weren’t complaining too much though, because you were still quite enjoying the comfort of the coat.

When you arrived at the docks, Zemo hopped out of the car quickly, turning around to offer you his hand, and as much as you didn’t want to accept it, you didn’t want to trip over in your heels so you took his hand and let him help you out of the car.

“Thank you, Helmut.” Your eyes widened as his first name escaped your mouth, and he smirked in response. You felt your cheeks heat up, and you were just glad the others seemingly didn’t notice your slip up.

“You’re more than welcome, mana mīlestība.” He shut the car door with one hand, but kept a hold of you with his other hand, and it took you a second to realise and let go.

hello my darling!!! oh, don't you worry, i'm here to help! joining the rpc is a task of it's own size, and it's even more challenging when you have english as a second language, and to be brave enough to ask for help?? you deserve a medal, my love!! well done to you!!

now, i'm going to throw down a quick list of basic terminology, and if i leave anything out, let me know!! of course, as always, all followers are welcome to add their own definitions in the comments! without further ado, here we go!

mun = you! you are the mun! basically, the mun is the person behind the screen, writing the blog. i am the mun for this blog, my name is blue! hello!

muse = your character! some people write on blogs with more than one character; these blogs are known as multi-muse, because they have many characters!

canon character = a character directly from a movie, musical, book or other form of media.

canon divergent character = most people write canon divergent portrayals of characters, or versions of characters which KIND OF follow canon, but also ignore canon events and focus on the character themselves. so, to use marv.el as an example, someone might want to write tony stark, but a version of tony stark where he DOESN'T become iron-man. most of the time, people use canon divergent portrayals to correct terrible writing and poor plot points.

original character = original characters, otherwise known as OCs, are characters that people have created, which are NOT part of any established media! they are just as valid and wonderful as canon characters!

starters = basically a starter is the introduction of a thread! so, they can be super short, like one line long, or they can be a paragraph long, or many paragraphs long! it's up to you, really! so you can write a whole thing about your character and written from your characters point of view, and then your writing partner will respond, and you'll go back and forth and that's called a thread!

closed starters = a closed starter is written EXCLUSIVELY for one person! these can be plotted or improvised; it's entirely up to you and the person you're writing the closed starter for!

open starters = an open starter is a starter that ANYONE can respond to! they're usually short, and many people can reblog them whenever they want to!

threads = a thread is basically any series of replies to a starter or a meme response. so, you might write a starter for sophie, sophie might reply, then you reply to sophie, and so on and so forth, and those interactions combine to form a thread!

memes = memes are just lists of various prompts! people write them on meme resource blogs, like this one! some memes are short, some are long lists, some focus on actions, others focus on dialogue. you can send them in to people through their inbox!

shipping calls = basically a post that says "like this post if you want to discuss a ship between our muses!"

ship = short for relationship, a ship is often implied to be a romantic relationship between your muse and someone else's muse, but they can be any kind of ship at all!

plotting calls = basically a post that says "like this post if you want to plot a thread together"!

starter calls = basically a post that says "like this post if you want me to write you a starter for a thread"!

I don't know about you, but Advent Calendars are a thing in my part of the world, no matter what you believe in (or don't believe in). Everyone is welcome on my blog and it's time to spread some love in our lovely fandom. December and winter holidays are coming and that means lots of coziness, hopefully snow, hot cocoa, warm blankets and lots of gifts, you know the drill 💚💖💙
