While I've posted about them on discord I never actually introduced them here but I got two new charr!

First up is Zerek Mindrend (he/him), an old ash legion soldier and mesmer, part time primus and full time grump. Unlike most other mesmers he prefers to use more direct methods, with less deception and more ripping his enemies apart with chaos magic. While his methods sometimes put him at odds with his more subterfuge inclined comrades, he remains a highly experienced mesmer and a valuable assest to the Ash Legion

And last is Sarro Aquaburn (he/him), a former flame legion shaman, trans man and current travelling wizard. He grew up idolising the powerful shamans of old, able to sear the land with their mighty magic. Alas his dreams of greatness were constrained by both the restriction of females to non-combat roles and his gender identity as a whole. Rather than spend his life enchanting weapons for flame's soldiers, all the while wishing he could be one of them, he chose to escape and seek his destiny elsewhere. Now free of flame and happily transitioned, he travels Tyria seeking out new knowledge to perfect his elemental magics and attain new hights of power.

So updates on Sarro's character, now that SotO is out he's a proud member of the bastion of strength who travels Tyria gathering intel and seeking out new magics to strengthen the astral ward

he's also got a skyscale named Troublemaker, so named because when she was a hatchling she got loose in the Bastion of the celestial and ate several astral creatures. She and Sarro still get dirty looks from Dagda to this day

(big spoilers for the plot of SotO below)

Sarro was first recruited into the astral ward by Mabon, who not only gave Sarro a real sense of purpose beyond perfecting his magic, but also personally sourced out several texts on permenant transformation spells so Sarro could transition. understandably, he was pretty pissed off when Mabon died and has been on the warpath since then.

People of Croatia really love their food, especially in Slavonia county where I live. People here eat tonnes of meat.. and of everything else, as a matter of fact. . I've been wanting to turn vegetarian for years, and this January (when I started my YTT) I finally made that step! I feel better than ever!!!
