I haven’t taken pics of my pretty pretty Mico doll in quite a while so I thought I’d take a take a few today while working from home:

🍂 You come across a small creature taking a rest on a log... but something about her makes you want to keep an eye as you walk past. She is dripping with a substance that smells sickly sweet and her mushroom growths are a color that seems a warning. Before you are finally past her, you hear a dry giggle and choke in a breath filled with spores. 🍄
You can adopt her here if you are willing to join the fun guys.

I don't buy independent/ small artists dolls. I never really saw any that catch my interest, but even if I did I would not purchase them. Right now they seem to be worth a lot but that is because everyone jumps on the supply and demand wagon to have some niche hobby semi famous persons doll. In the long run I see them about as useless as if your Auntie Em knitted you a sweater and after you wore it awhile you try to go sell it on eBay and it is worthless. People want them now, but they have no real value, and I don't ever see them as ever having value. It is just some doll that someone made. I am going to stick with company dolls. Even if I do not plan on reselling them, I know they will not lose value when they fall out of the favor of what ever craze that is making them so popular right now.

Sometimes I wish artists were less fancy with packaging if that means it will be cheaper. Don't get me wrong, I think you should not save on security of the doll and use sturdy boxes but I don't need a fancy printed box, ''free'' extras and special wrapping paper.
Like yes it is nice to get that ammount of attention from small businesses as opposed to bigger ones who just dump your shit in a box and body slam it into the delivery truck. But some artists post about how they have had issues with packaging and stuff and I checked and getting certain custom boxes is quite expensive. But I don't want to pay extra for the color of the packaging that will just chill in my basement... If I buy a cake for my birthday I wouldn't pay an extra 10$ for a nicer box. And also I have dolls from artists that came in hard shell carry bags like @cdc_d0lls Miya with an incredibly intricate body, that were a lot less expensive than some other dolls with less detailed sculpting but more extravagant packaging.
Idk, it just doesn't make sene to say you add ''freebies'' to your boxes but then charge for that. Is it free or not? xD.

Shaved Ice the Sheep
After my last con, I needed a quick little palette cleanser personal project - I love making things for other people, but sometimes you need to make something for yourself! I decided that what I wanted was a little friend to sit up on top of the Color Machine, and the sheep from the logo design felt like a perfect choice. She’s accompanied by dye bottles and a couple little balls of wool, and has a magnet in her base to help her stay steady up on top.
This was a personal piece and is not for sale, but my commissions are currently open and I’d love to talk ideas with anyone who wants to add a felted friend to their world!
