This is not me being 'kids these days don't know how to xyz', in fact, this is me actively trying to avoid turning into a person like that now that I'm approaching advanced age (lol)
BUT
Do teenagers these days have subcultures? Like, proper new ones. Something to confuse us adults, flabbergast them elders? Something loud, something avant guarde, something with distinguishable style, music, dance moves, clothes, speech, activites?
I know that fast fashion brands right now are recycling everything, bringing back the 70s and the 80s and the 90s, and there's brands like killstar doing goth stuff, but that's brands, their initiative.
Do Youths come up with their own little style these days, something to distinguish their flock aside from obvious economic abilities? Are youths taking what is fed to them and being ridiculous with it in a healthy way? Is there a defined Emerging Subculture in 2023? Because I feel like... No? At least I don't see it but of course I don't hang out with teenagers for prolonged time. I just see them on public transit and in shopping centres and it's a sad state of being, honestly. They're all wearing athleisure and girls have their face done up with makeup that costs more than mine. I'm not mad, I'm... sad? This doesn't flabbergast me or non-conform to me. This conforms in saddest way.
And I don't mean teens rediscovering goth or punk or emo or hippie stuff. That was original once and is now brought back largely in a form of aesthetic to sell more products. And teens discover them in this repackaged, glossed, powdered and castrated form. That's different. The last defined subculture I remember actually living through as a teenager were hipsters. They had clothing, music, activities and lingo – the four whales of subculture (according to me). They were definitely mostly posh thin snobs, but you could distinguish them in a crowd fairly easily, they even had a name - hipsters.
What happened after hipsters? Did social media gobble up those who came after and regurgitate the era of 'aesthetics' - exactly what it says on the tin, superficial looks without any 'culture' part of subculture. Is that it? That's how it seems to me but I desperately hope I'm wrong and losing touch with the kids. Genuinely worried for the kids not being outlandish enough. Maybe it's just my area?

How often do you think Bakugou acts a total brat because he wants to get fucked like a pretty little slut but can’t find it in him to be honest about it?
Also how often is he to tired to commit to an act so he snaps at you to fuck him like he’s been giving you hints you’ve been too oblivious to pick up on when in reality he’s just got home from work and his version of a hint he wants to be the one getting pampered is to text you about how shit his day was before he got back?

Hey guys, so currently on the "sun and moon show" the boys are playing in roblox. They just got their skins the way they want them to look and Moon has been making so many jokes about Sun's ass.
So I'm just there watching and thinking of how a few months ago everyone was bullying sun and giving him luscious cheeks. Now I'm watching two people portray our precious jesters and seeing the sun ass become a reality in a way.
Do you guys think they know about the joke or do you think we should tell them??

is it better to leave up old work so that others can see your progression, or is it better to take it down because the old stuff is abhorrently bad and you’re ashamed to be associated with it?

I wonder how much Blaze has been physically changed because he's spent a long time in the digital world... granted he's gone back to the real world at times. but he's spent a better part of like 2 years in the digital world or more at this point. Like how long would it take for the digital world to just say hey Blaze... your a digital lifeform now rather then a human. or would it ever happen?
