Atsumu and Hinata introduced their family to each other quickly. There are both very family-minded, so it was something natural to do.

Hinata had a little easier because he knew Osamu by sight and there was occasion to talk to him twice during second inter-high. Mama and Papa Miya warmed to Shouyou almost immediately. Hinata's parents also hadn't problems with accepting Atsumu. He got on well with Natsu as well. Despite the age gap, they have a really good vibe together.

Atsumu always brings gifts for Natsu, when he and Hinata are coming to visit Shoyou's family. He treats her like a younger sister he doesn't have. Once, he and Shoyou even took Natsu with them to Atsumu's hometown. There she had occasion to meet Osamu. Obviously, she knew that Atsumu has a brother, but it wasn't state precisely he has the twin brother.

Natsu was astonished at first, but then she became angry at Hinata and (especially) Atsumu for not telling her about the twin. She got apologized. Atsumu nor Hinata didn't tell her about the first one's twin because in their minds this fact is just obvious.

Atsumu sometime forgets that not everybody knows he has a twin. Hinata starts to forgetting too.

Shouyou makes sure to stick close to the other guards he’s been assigned to—the castle’s imposing exterior translates well to the inside, every hallway looking just like any other, and he’d like to get an idea of the layout quickly. His hand comes to rest on the hilt of the sword at his hip, wishing he had even just one of his daggers instead. They’re so much more efficient. But, well, the sooner he gets the job done, the sooner he can leave this place and wear whatever he wants again. He’s done it time and time again, really, it’s simple: infiltrate the guard, find the crown prince and verify the rumors, and deal with him. He has a flawless track record, after all. There aren’t that many other assassins out there who can say the same. Shouyou is an assassin. Atsumu is the crown prince he's be tasked with getting rid off. That proves to only be the start of their story.

I make a guess that Hinata started to deal with foreign languages pretty well after high school. During school years, he wasn't so good with other languages because of system of education. Making boring exercises and reading texts weren't really his cup of tea.

Shouyou is this kind of man, who learns by experiencing things.

He learnt Brazilian Portuguese by listening to its native speakers, trying to speak it and just feeling this language on his tongue. Step by step, he put it down to experience. The same way he learnt English. He hated it during high school, but found it useful to know English as well.

(Atsumu is so glad of Shouyou's skills because he is an absolute noob when it comes to foreign languages.)

I currently have one work in the tank that I do intend on sharing online, which is part two (and hopefully the last part ;-;) of the gen historical fantasy!AU. It's... taking a long time for me to finish and edit *sobs* but hopefully I get to publish it soon!

I also have several fics that've been collecting dust in my drafts for the longest time *sobs again*. I have a gen longfic about Hinata and Kageyama meeting each other in university; Hinata's an aspiring seismologist while Kageyama's in medical school I KNOW THEY AIN'T BOOK-SMART IN CANON BUT HEAR ME OUT FOR A SEC. I've already written the first half and I kinda wanna pick it up again, but realistically speaking... I don't think I have enough time for it just yet ;-; There's also a lot of university!AUs out there, so it's not a loss, I suppose. I do have a NYC/Fight Club!AU that's almost finished, but it's too, erm, self-indulgent lol. I feel too embarrassed to publish it.

I don't have Hinata/Atsumu fics in my drafts, but I do have an Atsumu & Osamu fic set post-manga that I also haven't touched in three years lmao. Really lost my steam in the middle, but yeah, I'll try my best to get myself into it again.
