Before I start , “weren’t you two just friends ?” Yes but that is until this popped up in my feed. Lolita and another friend are the only two people that know about a situation that roughly happened 2 ~ ish days ago. I was insanely panicked and anxious being accused of stuff like this. So yeah kinda your fatal flaw assuming I tell my life story to more then 2 people 🤷 also STOP using fucking freyr on me. 🤍 massively appreciated. “An Ex friend” I have only one long term friend and that is Avery 🤍 I am not a fucking freak and copy people , even if I do have identity issues I know it’s weird to copy someone! Lolita ignored me . Cher has done this to another friend of cher’s , making an uncomfortable joke and then when confronted went on a dni and days later replied with something random . Lolita cannot take responsibility for cher’s actions. Che just ignores you essentially and then replies with something random! I am just sick of this behaviour and I will not be surprised if che or someone else will spread rumours about me JUST because I came out about this. I originally thought this wasn’t serious enough to be a call-out post and I felt like I was being overdramatic.

yesss! averyjamesoon are my fav couple of all time. i hope this is what you were asking for (you may have been asking for two different posts, one featuring hopeless romantic jamie and another one about avery being shy). if this isn't what you wanted, don't hesitate to send me another request. i'd love to do it. i'll do anything for my fav couple of all time. will be shorter than my other posts but oh well (but the head canons themselves are longer). hope you like them<3.

i think the entire fandom would agree when i say that jameson's love language is physical touch. he's definitely the type of person to constantly be touching her or kissing her. avery really loves it, but has never been in a relationship before and doesn't know how to initiate it herself. jamie's always teasing her about it.

avery's the type of person who literally cannot take a compliment from her boyfriend without her heart exploding. i can even see her stuttering when responding to it sometimes when he really catches her off guard with one.

when jamie starts talking about her and their relationship, he cannot stop. they'll be at an interview, when the interviewer asks jameson about his gf and then he starts rambling and gushing over avery. avery would definitely be kicking and hitting him, begging him to stop, but she'd secretly be flattered.

over time, avery starts initiating physical contact and will give him noes kisses and cheek kisses from time to time. every single time, after the kiss, she backs up and looks him in the eye uncertainly thinking she's done smth wrong. meanwhile, jameson is staring at her in awe, and can't help but think he's the lucking guy on earth.

avery at the start of their relationship was too scared to outright compliment him, so she'd subtly say something nice about him whilst insulting him. jameson would always catch on and tease her about it (this usually ends in tickle fights)

jameson sometimes starts telling her about all of the things he wants to do to her (if you know what i mean) and avery just stands there combusting.

jameson is a sucker for ballroom dances and would organize an entire ball just for the sake of being able to dance with avery. avery would pretend to hate it but would secretly love it. (@catapparently)

jameson loves recreating scenes from romantic movies with avery. avery finds it cliche but also really sweet and can't help but fall in love with him a little bit more every single time.

avery loves getting back rubs but doesn't like asking for things from people, but jamie knows all of this and organizes little spa dates every week.

at the beginning of their relationship, avery was really hesitant to tell jamie she loved him bc she thought he didn't reciprocate (don't ask me why). she used to whisper it in his ear whilst playing with his hair at night when she thought he was asleep (he wasn't. he was dying on the inside)

avery is really horrible with prolonged eye contact, so, whenever they have a really important conversation, she looks down. jamie always tilts her head up with his hand under her chin and tells her to keep looking at him with those beautiful eyes of hers. avery always blushes when he does this.

when avery gets nervous but doesn't want to say it out loud, she grabs his hand and holds onto it really tight. jamie knows this and also knows that she loves it when he strokes his thumb over her skin so he makes sure to do that too. avery says thanks by leaning her head on his shoulder.

avery being referred to as a game by jamie in the first two books really affected her (this is canon, there are lines in the books that prove this). she doesn't talk about it with him bc she doesn't want him to think she doesn't appreciate him. jamie knows he messed up and was always trying to make it up to her by leaving notes in her pencil case (when they were still in school) or hiding them all over her room (he'd tell her he loves her, write down cheesy pick up lines, write down his favorite things about her). he'd also organize really elaborate dates (three course meals in pools, see-through helicopter rides, etc).

jamie loves her so much (obviously) and always wants to make sure she's comfortable. he's always running around trying to make sure she has towels in the bathroom, hair ties (cause he knows she doesn't like having her hair in her eyes), etc. avery thanks him at night (but doesn't specify why, she just says thank you) in bed which encourages jamie to do it even more.

when they're in bed at night, jamie starts talking about their future wedding and honeymoon (basically his dreams) whilst avery just lies there, in his arms, quietly sobbing (happy tears) bc of how loved she feels.

because of the amount of comments avery gets on her appearance (we know she gets hate, and it was mentioned in tbh i believe), she sometimes doesn't like looking at herself in the mirror because it reminds her of them (and believes them but she'd never admit that to herself or jameson). jamie knows this and will creep up behind her at night when she's getting ready for bed, put his arms around her, and whisper in her ear all of his favorite things about her appearance (literally everything, and he says this) (or just his favorite things about her in general). avery just stands there smiling (or crying sometimes (jamie makes sure to kiss her tears away))

jamie makes playlist for their dates (or just playlists filled with songs that remind him about avery). at night, in bed, he shows her his playlists and talks to her about the songs and why they remind him of her (basically tons of love songs. he gushes about his favorite things about her and stuff). avery listens to those playlists when she's feeling insecure or unworthy (basically when she's feeling shitty) cause they cheer her up and remind her that she will always have jameson by her side. sometimes she'll be listening to them at work, and people will think she's having a heat stroke or something bc she's blushing profusely.

jamie is literally obsessed with telling her he loves her. like just saying i love you. they'll be lying in bed at night, and he'll start saying those three words over and over again 1. cause he likes to remind her he loves her and 2. like i said he loves saying those words. avery always begs him to stop (half-heartedly) bc it makes her shy and vulnerable, but jamie just kisses her to shut her up and keeps saying it.

it's currently 3am in the morning for me as i'm writing this. this might not be good (i will be making a part 2 someday though bc i loved making these so much). i apologize if anything doesn't make sense, i didn't proof read this (as always).

My unpopular TIG opinions.

Since y'all are expressing opinions out here..who am i to leave out? Now have in mind that these are MY opinions, some of these are unpopular some of these are NOT, some of these are even underrated facts but let's just ignore that..

(Please don't hate me)

1. I DON'T CARE ABOUT EVE, and i don't want her to be with Grayson..bcs APPERANTLY and very unfortunatly there are people out there who ship Gray and Eve..crazy..i know, i really don't care about her, i already made a whole post about why i don't like her at all, she's a manipulator, she's a liar, she's a backstabber. She traumatised poor Gray and threatened Ave. I respect your opinion if you like her and i truly understand where some of you are coming from, but i just can't manage to like her, don't hate her i just dislike her. Even if she gets a redemption arc..i can't seem to understand how i'll like her character after what she has done, but if i will..."forgotten but never forgiven"

2.underrated characters, there are so many of them in this books, for example Zara Hawthorne. I love her honestly, i could never hate, i understand she may have done some wrong things...but i love her nontherless♡♡ and same goes for Alisa Ortega.

(Honorable mention) also come on, give my man Oren some appreciation he deserves, you think following teenager around is easy? Even if it's his job and he gets paid, it's still tiring..😔

3. Uhh..i am scared to say this...i prefer Nash and Alisa to Nash and Libby...WAIT, WAIT, WAIT...DON'T KILL ME YET..LET ME EXPLAIN FIRST🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻, i saw @hawthornesbiggestfan 's post, and that encouriged me to say this, read that post bcs that explains exacly how i feel. I love Nash and Libby, they're super cute, i can't wait for their wedding and think they are going to have a very happy family...but..i'm still at the restaurant😔, EVEN THO we never got to know Nash and Alisa's story, smtg about those two had me invested in them from the beggining, like imagne Alisa growing up and Nash slowly developing a tiny crush on them..young love..passion..childhood lovers...love confession..ughh, also the fact that Gray, Xan and Jamie already saw her as their family, like an older sister. Such a shame we never got to see their story. Again, i'm not saying i dislike Nash and Libby tho if it had been love triangle between Nash, Libby and Aliso...i would choose Nash and Alisa...

3.Avery is freaking underrated, yk what's sad? SHE IS THE MAIN CHARACTER, and she doesn't get enough hype (i've made a post about this too) meanwhile people are swooning over Hawthorne brothers, and yes i am one of them but i love Avery to death, i even saw someone comparing Avery and the brothers saying "oh she's so boring..Hawthorns are way better than her..blah..blah..blah" technically they were saying fuck poor people, i know for a fact NONE of the brother would last an hour from where she came from (iykyk), she's a girlboss, and a main character for a reason.

4. As much as i love Averyjameson, i have to say their story is pretty much over, We'll probably get some cute moments from them in tgg or in games untold, but they ARE NOT a main couple anymore.

5.TGG IS A NEW SERIES, please understand that it's new book series with new characters (at least most of them) stop attacking JLB, it's her books, it's her choice.

6.Lyra Kane's haters don't make sense to me, especially those one who mock, and laugh at her lovers saying "you don't even know her, i'm gonna laugh at y'all when she turns out to be Eve 2.0" uhm...sir..miss..shut it. I respect your opinion if you're a Lyra netural bcs it's true we don't know many things about her and i totally understand if you can't love her yet, but don't hate, we know we're delusional most of the times, but that's what headcanons is for, for fun, alight, let people have fun.

7. Will all due respect i have...Averygrayson shippers are...dumb..yikes..sorry, but it's the truth, i'm tired of talking about this, it's been 4 books, Avery is happy with Jamie, they're perfect for each other, their relationship status is great and Gray is most definetly getting a new love interest..but of you still ship and have faith in them..do so..who am i to stop you? Just don't be disappointed when it won't be ture.

8.i may be judging too early but Savannah and Gigi being in the game..doesn't sit right, tbh honest it'a NEPOTISM at it's finest, i love both of them so much..but..nah. again, idk for sure..it may be some trick, it's JLB after all.

9.there are too many repetitive charcter traits..Jameson and Rohan, Grayson and Savannah, Gigi and Xander, Eve and Emily, every single dad, exept for Isaiah.

10.Speaking of Isaiah, he is extremly underrated, i mean he is the best dad in the series and somehow people talk about Sheffield Grayson more than him.

So, I wanted to make this as an appreciation post for the fandom. Looking at all the reveals we've gotten in the last few days and seeing how much the world of TIG has expanded so quickly, I've been getting a bit nostalgic.

When I joined this fandom, it was August of 2022, barely a month out from the release date of The Final Gambit, the finale of The Inheritance Games. I found out about TIG at a random bookstore on a road trip and I had immediate interest (the hot tub scene sold me so quick). I was also still somewhat new to Tumblr back then but I wanted to see what the hype was here.

Back then, we were still in the Averyjameson vs Averygrayson era even though I'd say things were cooling down a bit. But, that's not my point. The community was getting ready for this; there were chapter reveals, theories, and oh, it was awesome. I was so happy to be part of it. And some of the people who made it a lively place back then are still here, but unfortunately, some have gone quiet. @averysjameson, @guppyclato, @lesbianator3000, @margolovescoffeeandbooks, and @cherryschaos, thank you for making my days back then. I know you may have moved on, but I thank you for the contribution you made at the time.

The only thing I will not miss is the toxicity that Averyjameson and Averygrayson fans plagued this fandom with and divided us so much. We had a lot back then to still savor, why did we have to do that to sour the tag when this series had so much more to offer than just the romantic subplot? There was a mystery at large and so many other characters to love. We only seemed to agree on hating Emily and the old man. Moving on, let's never do that again and if there is another love triangle, let's try being more mature about it. I know we can. If Gray, Avery, and Jamie moved on, so can we.

When we were told of The Brothers Hawthorne back in October 2022 and given those first chapters for the new book, I was over the moon. We were going to finally see the POVs of two favorites; Grayson and Jameson. I was so excited to see from Jamie's perspective, to get a mystery set in London and for him to solve it with Avery; it was an Averyjameson dream. However, come the actual release of the book and I was honestly so disappointed. I'm not sure why it didn't hit the levels it should have but I already said my piece on that and while I still have some disdain for that story, I look fondly at the parts I did love. And funny enough, I told myself Grayson's story will just have to do only because I was feeling sour over Jameson's plot. But low and behold, I loved it! It was deep, funny, interesting, and held my attention as if I was in TIG all over again and it hit more high notes than Jameson's. I may attribute that to the familial connections we see displayed there but it felt more rewarding and even if JLB still had more for Grayson's development, that didn't mean Jameson had to suffer for it. However, I'm hoping that this story here was a fluke and I'm putting my best foot forward in believing that maybe reading Averyjameson through Avery's POV again in Games Untold will give back that familiar feeling I've been missing for two years. I never said I wouldn't try again.

Now, we've entered a new era and this is a third for me; The Grandest Game and Games Untold. During this period, I met @hathorneheiress, my fanfic bestie, and a lot of my current supporters have been with me since TBH. I thank you very much for sticking with me by liking, reblogging, and commenting on my posts. You make my day in the same way I assume my content makes yours. I haven't said that enough and I don't think it will ever be. I'm happy that we're all still here now and going into this new unknown with our theories, headcanons, new characters, and plots. I'm sure it will be a blast. Thank you for giving me that feeling again these last few days; it felt like being with Avery and the gang, running through the House, finding another clue, waiting in anticipation what it reveals.

I hope that this next series is everything we hope for it to be, a new start for Gray, a chance to bond with the new characters we met in The Brothers Hawthorne, and an opportunity to make it feel like the hay days of the first book. I hope that Games Untold lets us relish that feeling with the original cast, to relive the good old days, to meet up with some old friends we haven't seen in a while, and to have that final hurrah that leaves us on the highest of highs in the best way possible. Maybe it'll make it easier to say goodbye to the ways it used to be and embrace the new storytellers but of course, with the way JLB leaves us hanging with every story she gives, who is to say that'll be it?

Thank you to everyone who makes theories, headcanons, fanfics, fanart, and so many other things that leave us wanting more. Thank you to everyone who showers that content with support in the form of likes, comments, and reblogs. Thank you to everyone who has been here from the beginning, in the middle, and now. I think Reese is the only character I can comfortably make a playlist for, bc this is basically the only kind of music I listen to. I have general vibes for other characters tho!

🎵Stella would be Sad Indie Girls (Lesbian flavor), which Tony could probably take a good crack at (his Spotify is 90% Sad Indie Girls and 10% DragonBall themes).

🎵Kaneeka would require vast knowledge of anime OSTs and jpop that I simply do not possess, possibly with some new wave mixed in. I can imagine her and Reese hanging out and listening to New Order together.

🎵Avery listens to Plantasia on vinyl.

🎵Oscar would have some flavor of dad rock, remnants from his wild long-haired youth. Plus mournful latin music, which he sings along to on car rides with Rosalina, like his dad did with him (she doesn't appreciate it now but she'll think of him every time she hears it until she is the one singing along and embarrassing HER kids)

🎵Tabitha is tough bc she doesn't "get" music, so it'd have to be vibes-based only (rather than being stuff she would also listen to). And her vibe is dark folk. I do have Folk Music Knowledge (acquired by growing up in the south), but I mostly listen to old shitty recordings of songs about spurned lovers, not modern dark folk (lesbian flavor or otherwise).

Anyway those are my thoughts on the characters' playlists/music tastes. It's fun to write this stuff :3

can we just have a round of applause for the tig community rn because (most of yall >:() are so so respectful when it comes to everyone’s opinions and I genuinely love talking to you guys so much, this is by far the best fandom I have ever been in ever, even though I can get pretty annoying with the grayson stuff (sorry guys 😔✊ I love yall for putting up with me) I love all of the brothers so much and it makes me so happy when I see people saying how bad it is that we compare Grayson and Jameson. Also my face absolutely lights up when I see an Avery appreciation post like give this girl some credit, those Hawthorne whores would be dead without her. anyway I guess what I’m trying to say is a love you guys so much and you all deserve hugs and kisses!!!

I’m not sure if it’s the same fic but I recall a part where Crowley deliberately mixes up the children but buys a house near the Young’s and stays on the weekends to take care of Adam? - @alovelyocean

2. Hello, I hope you are doing well! I can't for the life of me remember the name of this fic, and it would be a great help if I could find it again. The fic was in Crowley's POV (3rd person). It was such a poetic fic, there seemed to be little to no storyline, and it just described one situation so beautifully. It was kind of like a worship fic but not exactly. It wasn't sexual at all, just worship-y in a heavily admiring way. It had some nice bright undertones if that makes sense, and it had these entire paragraphs about how Aziraphale looked. There was this small part about them getting a whole lot of money somehow, so Aziraphale could wear fancy stuff, and it was mainly just Crowley admiring him the whole time Thank you for your help, I hope you have a wonderful day :) - @thethirdstageofdeath

3. I'm desperately looking for a fic I read once. I've tried finding it on my own, I even went through some of your tags that I thought it would be in, but no luck so far. From what I remember it's an outsider pov, where Aziraphale goes to a pet shop to get some things for Crowley. The pet shop ends up being run by (and for) witches and familiars. Aziraphale gets mistaken for a witch and Crowley gets mistaken for a familiar, Crowley is also mostly in snake form during this fic but I can't remember why. I don't remember much else about it except it was sweet and silly and I would love to revisit it. I hope you can help me with this. - anon

4. Hello, I'm looking for a fic. It's actually a series, but the description of the first one is the easiest. Basically Aziraphale admits to himself he's in love with Crowley and weird biblical phenomenon start happening, like raining fish, frogs, etc. It gets worse when they get together, for example the first time they kiss he causes an earthquake and almost sets Crowley on fire. I also remember mentions of Aziraphale's eyes reminding Crowley of Tex Avery cartoons, them having tea at Bath, and 'a theologically significant Golden Delicious'. I thought I remembered the title was Still My Heart Is Beating, but AO3 can't find anything by that name. It had two sequels last I checked. It's one of my most favorites in the whole fandom, and I'm really hoping you can help - @little-bloodied-angel

5. Hi, I've sent this before ages ago, but I can't find the response or if you've found this fic. Sorry about that. I lost this fic I loved, and no matter how much I search, I can't find it. This is probably my last attempt to look for it before i accept it may have been deleted. I know it was post show, and Crowley and Aziraphale were living together in a cottage. Crowley's human form begins "cracking," and he and Aziraphale go down to the beach at night to "stretch" out. They essentially remove their forms and show each other their real forms for the first time. While Crowley has a physical demon body, Aziraphale is essentially a ball of light with eyes and wings. Crowley and Aziraphale embrace, and it's basically sex without sex (pretty sure the tags even said something like that), and Crowley felt like he before the fall, being enveloped Aziraphale's light. Their embrace effects the environment around them some and causes some accidental miracles and such, and in the end, they agree they should do it again. Thank you for any help you can give me!
