Are you hoping that this scientific article includes a 3D rendering of an Aye-Aye picking its nose with one of those creepy long fingers?

Aye Aye
The phrase "Aye aye, captain" means to agree to an order or suggestion, and is often used humorously or informally today.
The term "aye" is derived from the Middle English word "yea", meaning "yes", and has been commonly used in the Royal Navy since the 18th century to indicate that one has understood the order and will obey it. The term "aye" was repeated twice to indicate both understanding and compliance with the order.
However, aye aye or yes yes can also be taken negatively and convey the feeling that the other person is not being taken seriously - because in German it can also be used as "Leck mich Arsch"/ Kiss my Ass" . So be careful how your mate says it and how he acts - he can also tell you that he's doing it but he doesn't respect you.

???-FLYPOM
-Dark/Flying
-The bat monkey Pokemon
-Ability: Tough Claws/Unnerve- Magician(HA)
"FLYPOM lives on the tops of trees from where it glides down silently during the night. It uses it long clawed tail to swoop up its prey, which are usually small pokemon, but some say it can even take small children away, never to be heard of again"
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Done for a contest held on twitter by FableFakemon to make a regional variation of AIPOM, so I made mine based on the Aye-Aye, with a regional evolution based on the Ahool, a Southeast Asian cryptid described as a Monkey-Bat hybrid

It's really sad that Aye-Ayes have this reputation for being the "ugliest primate" when actually those photos of them that are supposed to exemplify their "ugliness" are of either really elderly Aye-Ayes or Aye-Ayes being startled and doing a threat display. Aye-Ayes are actually freaking adorable and I will not stand for this injustice!

Here is a couple of facts you might not know about Grafaiai
First off the location it is found is based on the Oma Forest, a real location in Spain where painter and sculptor Agustin Ibarolla painted many trees in the forest.
It is said it is supposed to represent the disharmony of human presence and nature and was partially inspired by the nearby Santimamiñe caves which displays cave art from prehistoric times.
Secondly the Aye-aye isn't the only primate this Pokemon is based on! Meet the Slow Loris, another prosimian with a very unique feature; it is deadly poisonous.
It has a gland that produces a potent chemical that when mixed with its saliva makes a deadly poison. It has special groves in its teeth to hold the poison making it a psuedo-venom and also rubs this concoction in its fur to make it unappealing to be grabbed by predators. This poison is so toxic it can burn on contact and should it be administered via bite it will rot flesh.
So we have a Pokemon that combines the unique anatomy of its animal inspirations alongside cultural inspirations of both graffiti artist youths and the regional culture of the real world location the Paldea region is based on.
10/10 this is the best Pokemon of this gen revealed so far.
