So I was digging through letterboxd lists and i found this weird tv movie sequel to Goncharov from 1993!

it was a completely unrelated production and the only person they got back from the original was John Cazale as Ice Pick Joe, i guess they promised him a bigger role judging by the title Goncharov 2: the hour of icepick joe..... but he only showed up in the 20 mins of the film.

Barry Bostwick is certainly a choice to replace De Niro..... Loretta Swit was serving as Katya tho!!! I think director Shane 7. Chapman did some mission impossible episodes once? idk..... also a short lived 80s sitcom called 'are you still with me' so like, some experience i guess.

When asked about the film, Scorsese told Film Review in 1996, "No, I have not seen it. I do not plan on seeing it, and I do not plan on engaging with it."

It was a pretty forgettable low budget action film tbh, but the ice cream van chase sequence kinda slapped ngl
