Quick curry recipe (for one person):
Mix 1/2 cup of chicken broth, 1 tablespoon of curry powder, 1/2 tablespoon of cumin, 1 tablespoon of... pretty much any spice mix, honestly (I use a 21 seasoning blend I bought at the store), 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric, 1/2 tablespoon of cinnamon, and a mixture of flour and water (1/3 tablespoon of each). You can also add honey if you want, but it's not needed.
Dice a small tomato, and cook it in a small pot or saucepan with a bit of olive oil (enough to cover the bottom of the pot). You probably want about 3-4 cherry tomatoes worth, but it's up to you.
Once the oil around the tomatoes is bubbling, add your spice and broth mixture to the pot, and let it reach a boil before lowering the heat to a simmer. Stir frequently until it reaches your desired thickness.
After that you can just pour it onto whatever you're serving it with. If you have a bag of that quick saffron rice you can get at the grocery store, it goes great with that and some chicken.

Food and Drinks in Vancouver
Earls Kitchen + Bar is a Canadian-based premium casual dining chain that operates a total of 68 restaurants in Canada and the United States. Their head office is in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Leroy Earl "Bus" Fuller (1928–2019), the founder of Earls, was a Korean War veteran and an experienced restaurateur with over twenty successful and failed restaurants to his name. His first restaurant was opened in Sunburst, Montana, United States, in 1954 under the name "Green & White". In the late 1950s, Fuller moved his young family to Canada and operated a series of A&W (Canada) locations in Edmonton, Alberta. Soon, the Fullers were operating thirty locations and a series of Fuller’s, a Denny’s type of chain. In the 1970s, the Fullers moved west to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
It was during this time that Fuller went into business with his son Stan Fuller, founding the first Earls restaurant in 1982 in Edmonton. The chain quickly grew when the Fullers set up an Earls restaurant in their new home town of Vancouver in 1983. Although its menu originally consisted mostly of burgers and beer, Earls has changed the menu to offer "dishes inspired by trips around the world." Over the years, Earls restaurants have spread across Western Canada, the United States, and Ontario.
While the chain was originally a family business, in 2013, Mo Jessa became the first non-Fuller to be named as company president.
The Fullers are involved in a number of other Western Canadian restaurant chains. Jeff Fuller and Stewart Fuller, two other sons of Leroy, are involved in JOEY (a western Canadian restaurant chain) and Cactus Club Cafe, respectively. Ole Stan Fuller owns a 20% share of the latter establishment after the other brothers dropped out.
In December 2017, Earls announced that they would be closing one of their first locations, on Marine Drive in North Vancouver. In early 2018, the chain opened a concept restaurant in West Vancouver as a replacement.

Cor cor cor i have a would u rather for u:
Would you rather use zero recipes for a whole month (experimenting or cooking from memory is fine) or have to cook the same dinner for a whole week (u pick the dish) 👀👀👀
oh this answer may be wildly disappointing lmao.
i would rather make the same thing for a week, because honestly? sometimes i do that already. when i’m really truly burnt out and struggling i default to either making a huge batch or something and eating it for days, or making the same thing over and over. generally speaking it’s scrambled eggs with cheese, sausage, pan fried hash browns or tater tots, and toast. but in the interest of putting some more thought in, if i could only make one thing for a whole week? it would probably be either justine snack’s corn quinoa bake because that’s easy and versatile with toppings, (smoked salmon, avocado, maple chipotle roasted sweet potatoes and goat cheese is my go to) or a vietnamese ga xao xo ot recipe i saved from the wayback machine that’s almost a perfect duplicate for some of my favorite takeout in my hometown. i’d also probably happily eat oyakodon all week so long as i had a fresh pack of chicken thighs and didn’t have to defrost things.
honestly, the idea of trying to cook without recipes for a month is mildly terrifying. despite working in kitchens for years and having been cooking since i was 3 (when i topped my first pizza - there are pictures) i don’t like to experiment without a baseline. i can and will, but it’s not my preferred method. i like to make recipes as written once or twice to get a feel for them, and only then will i make alterations to my own tastes. i could probably cook from memory / experiment (without repeats) for 2 weeks or so before i got stressed about it.
this was fun. i’m always down to talk about cooking (but you know that!)

I mase some Tyson's blackened chicken tenders yesterday and, I don't know if I didn't cook it long enough or not but it tore my stomach UP. I was sick a dog almost immediately after eating it and was sleep by 9a. My stomach still isn't right.

Blackened Chicken Recipe This recipe for blackened chicken, a Cajun favorite, is incredibly simple. The chicken quickly sears after being coated with a homemade blackening rub.

suppose you invite a cute girl to your apartment on a dinner date. what meal do you cook to impress her?
maybe tuscan chicken or something? the thing is that it'd depend on the girl and her tastes. because if it's not something that fits her preferences then what's the point to begin with
