Blog on hiatus till January!

Thank you all so much for your patience at this time, I really appreciate it! And apologies to anyone who has messaged me/tagged me in things - I'm not ignoring you on purpose, just unable to check social media at this time.

It really sucks to have to take such an extended break from this blog/making art/etc, but I know I have to do what is right for my health, and trying to push myself to function at such a difficult time isn't being kind to myself.

In any case, the birds are all doing well! Including Sunshine, my precious lemon son, who will be 4 years old by the time I'm back here on Tumblr. I look forward to being back on here, sharing my bird photos and making art again, in the new year - see you all in 2024!

Getting Back to Normal

Good evening, friends. I believe that my hiatus will be over, and I will return to creating remodels for The Sims 2. I did play a little tonight, but more so to get my CC folder in order. So many creations and so little texture resources. I have come to the conclusion that I will have to keep my favorite parts of every set I have downloaded and there are many. I have so many favorite content creators and right now it's mostly object downloads. Hair and clothing will be next, but once I get this all together, I will definitely create a backup because going on downloading sprees does take up a lot of time and space LOL. Every time I see something I like I will download it and try it out in my game. Then I will make sure that all the files are in lower case except for mods. Anyway, I thought I would share some screen shots of one of my favorite lots. It's the Smelly Deli by @plumbtales. Since I will be working on remodels and adding CC to my CC free lots (these will not be uploaded at this time), I probably will put my Sims Stories on hold. It's still pretty early in the game I might start over again with the same setup I have after adding CC. Not sure yet. But for now, I will have fun, with makeovers and share photos of my CC free lots with CC 👻. For now here is the Smelly Deli with some CC additions and a few changes. Redesigns:

Multiple characters that you all know and love will have some changes.

Fritz will have a slight redesign, Daisy will have a verrry Suttle redesign, Inde will have more noticeable changes, Funzo will have a pretty large redesign!

New Ocs:

There will be 2 new ocs to join my little party here! Vermont and Ivy will be coming in! They won't be...heavily used.

Do you think you might update Sense and Sensuality? Part 3 ends with “to be continued…” and I’d love to read what comes next

The second half of Sense and Sensuality, that is: parts 4, 5 and 6, is currently being written. I thought I'd write them together rather than one after the other, so I could maintain a consistent story arc, and make it feel more like a Georgian era romantic novel than a series of short stories. Here is part 1 for those who haven't read it yet.

I also have several almost finished stories that have been sitting in my drafts folder for ages, which I want to complete and share. One of those was First Date, (far too good to languish unseen), and there's another, entitled Fire, that's just been released. Enjoy!

Me again! Sorry that I am, once again, not back on Tumblr. I know it's been a long time, and I really appreciate everyone giving me the time and space to get better!

It is sad and kinda frustrating for me that I am still not better. It feels like just when I am starting to be able to function again, I am hit with a new wave of nightmares and flashbacks and suddenly I'm back to being unable to do things. It sucks! But I really am a believer in being gentle with people, and giving people the time and support they need to recover, and so I am trying to do that with myself too.

Anyway, just wanted to post to say I will still be back, hopefully sooner rather than later, but just not quite as soon as I had hoped. Thank you everyone for your patience, and sorry to anyone who has messaged me/etc - I'm not in a place right now where I am checking Tumblr at all, but I will get back to you when I'm back!

Okay, I know the last time i said i was going on hiatus i ended up getting motivation to draw like a madman after and completely revoked it, but this time I REALLY gotta go on hiatus.

I am EXTRAORDINARILY behind in half my classes in school, about a whole quarter behind and half my grades are F’s. My mother was going to give me both ProCreate and RoughAnimator for my iPad, and I’m afraid that if she sees my grades she’ll take that away.

I don’t know how long exactly I’ll be away (a week? Two weeks maybe?) but all I know is that I won’t be here for a while. If you see me being active in ANY WAY on Tumblr, please scold me like my mother would. This hiatus also goes for @southparkthenewkids.

See you all in a few weeks!! (hopefully with ProCreate and RoughAnimator!!)

Road-trip 2023

So I meant to post about this weeks ago! The last week of June, my brothers and I went on a 4-day road-trip across Oregon, with a quick dip into Northern California. Our three main stops were Crater Lake, the Trees of Mystery in the Redwoods National Forest, and the Evergreen Air and Space Museum in McMinnville, OR. I intended to post pics sooner, but I was too lazy to sit and figure out how to pull the pics from my tablet to my desktop. Pics of Crater Lake below the cut!

We stayed at a nearby campground on the night of the 26th so we could arrive early on Tuesday the 27th.

So Crater Lake is like six miles across and over 1,900 feet deep---which is like 600' deeper than the Great Lakes. Our family tried to visit a couple times when we were kids, but it was in the spring when the roads are too snowed in to travel (Mom has pics of us playing in the 8' snow-drifts from when I was about five-years-old). And even at the end of June the hiking trail that goes around the whole lake was still closed off due to the snow.

Ooh, even got a rainbow for the end of Pride Month on that last one and didn't even realize it! Anyway, Crater Lake was a cool experience, and I've got several more still on my tablet if anyone wants to look! I'll post a few pics from the Redwoods tomorrow!

Hi ^^; .. (tldr at the bottom + bit of a rant I think) ⚠️ vent-ish ? ⚠️

We're gonna take another break. but this time it's mental health and not physical like the first time. The truth being Tumblr is a very stressful place, and it's hard to keep in touch with followers and make sure every follower that follows us actually is SFW or isn't something that is against our boundaries— all that. We love everyone here, we love Interacting with our followers and we love it when people come to us and say that our blog makes them happy. It makes me happy as well. But unfortunately no matter what we do, and no matter how much of a personal safe space we try and make this account, it just crumbles in the end. Our safe space is invaded, and no matter how much we block or do ANYTHING to stop them, they keep coming and it's exhausting. As someone who's asexual and a caregiver who is SFW (obviously) I never asked for "x reader" that is INFESTED with things we don't want to see, it damages you. Even as an adult (minor bodily) it does alot to someone and it's slowly making our safe space into something we are scared of. We don't want anyone to worry about us, this is mainly why we're removing the "ask" box on our account. We don't want to attention seek, or seek pity. We need a break and the last thing we want is people getting worried. We are fine, I promise. We are taking a break, because if we try and keep going we might just delete/purge this blog. And we don't want that so—
