This is from an au created by @bonkdd, but i did rob and andrew's designs bc i never saw his designs for them. i also added a lot of lore and plot stuff because i really liked the concept. in simple terms the tallies are robots that were abandoned by Marvin after he passed away so now they're falling apart n stuff without him to care for them (that's why rob hides his face). Anyways, huge thanks to Bonk for the original idea! They're a great artist, you should go check them out!

Did an embossing peice. It's the Mojo Chessmaster! I tried by best to make it as detailed as possible, and I think I did pretty alright. The neck was probably the worst part to do. Below are close-ups

the head of the guitar was a pain in the ass.

This part was also pretty tricky but it came out okay. the dials at the bottom are raised as much as I could get them to go, so I'm not worried about them. My issue here was the pickups.

I also added Flansburgh's little signature guy but i drew his hair because why not? Anyways this piece took me a good hour or so to finish, I think it'll fetch a good grade (it was for my metal design class).

I'll add a sketch I just did as a bonus:

it's from a tally hall fanfic/au i made back in may after my grandpa passed away. It was a great stress-reliever and I still really like how it turned out. It's about cryptids and monsters and shit. I'll post a summary on a different post because this one was mostly for the drawings. I might post a few installments of it on my ao3. It could be a weekly thing since i usually have time on fridays to write.

I put literal hours of research on cryptids and of the area (ann harbor, MI) while writing this fic. It was fun though, and it helped me a lot. Feel free to ask me anything about the plot or world-building !

"Good Morning" - Jekyll & Utterson Fluff Fic

In today's entry of "Head empty, only Henriel"- I write a brief but sickeningly sweet Morning After snippet about two middle-age Victorian men that I have an irrational amount of feelings about.

Nothing explicit here but it's definitely a post-sex kinda thing so maybe skip this one if that's not for you?

Henry awoke with the light of early morning pouring in from the window directly onto his face. He tried to turn his head to shield his eyes and realized that his cheek lay on someone’s bare shoulder. It was then that he became aware of the steady breathing of the man beside him, memories of the night before flooding back to him.

Gabriel.

He felt his heart skip in his chest as he realized the two had spent the whole night together, something that he hadn’t been so lucky to experience in years. Henry Jekyll was filled with a warm, fuzzy nostalgia for that short span of time when the two men, much younger then, had spent every night in each other’s arms. Henry let this warmth glow in his chest as he gently kissed his partner’s shoulder and nuzzled a little closer, content to fall back asleep curled up against Gabriel.

Before he could drift off, he felt feathery fingertips running through his hair. He let his eyes flutter open and found Gabriel watching him, a soft smile tugging the corners of his lips.

“Hi,” Gabriel whispered.

“Morni—” Henry was cut off as his chin was pulled towards Gabriel’s face and he was led into a soft kiss. Henry raised his hand to tenderly rest under Gabriel’s jaw, eager to kiss him in return. When he was about to come up for air, Gabriel suddenly took Henry’s face in both hands and rolled them both so that he lay on top of him, causing Henry to let out a small yelp of delight as the kiss was deepened, his head now reeling as butterflies danced in his stomach. Thought ceased to exist as Gabriel’s warm, greedy mouth kissed him with a feverish intensity the likes of which Henry hadn’t experienced before, his gentle but firm hands holding his face possessively as his lips sought their fill. Finally, with Henry desperate for breath, Gabriel pulled away.

Henry was panting as he tried to slow his frantic heart. “Can I wake up to that every morning?” Henry asked, still breathless.

“No,” answered Gabriel nonchalantly.

“No?” Henry’s eyebrows shot up, a sudden sense of alarm flaring within him. Was that it? A goodbye kiss? Was he really going to end things this soon?

“Of course not, don’t be ridiculous. Some mornings you’ll have to kiss me until I’m senseless. I can’t possibly be expected to do all the work here,” Gabriel said, a grin cracking across his face.

The anxiety dissipated as fast as it had come on, and Henry found himself laughing with relief. He wrapped his arms around Gabriel’s middle and pulled him even closer. “I love you," he whispered, nose pressed to Gabriel's cheek.

"Would you mind telling me that every morning, then?"

well I just cancelled my prime membership. What an astonishingly bad move from Amazon. To “upgrade” their music service by taking away the option to choose what song I want to play and when. What good is access to all the songs in the world if I can’t listen to them when I want? Cannot for the life of me understand this decision and I hope it’ll lose them millions of customers.

On a related note, anyone got a hot tip for a music service that actually does what you pay it to do?

“So,” Danny drawled from where he was sitting, legs kicking slightly. Really, what a fun reincarnation. A world with heroes and villains where he didn’t have to do shit in and could just vibe with Ellie. 

“So,” Tim responded from where he was typing on his computer, mostly in civilian clothes save for his gauntlets and boots. The Red Robin outfit was haphazardly dropped across the couch and his pole leaning against the end. 

“Technically there’s proper procedures for clones…” Danny motioned to both himself and Ellie from where they sat on the counter, snacking on a plateful of scones. From Alfred, he was certain. 

“Technically, yes… but do we want to actually do that?” 

All three of them smiled, something almost feral in the motion. Of course not. They all had the same memories after all, and Bruce had just returned from the past, from exactly where and when Tim had said he was. Despite no one believing him, hence why they were in his boathouse, and not in the apartment or manor. 

“Think we can pull it off?” Ellie took a sip of tea, mischief swirling in her eyes. 

“Of course we can.” Both Danny and Tim spoke at once, one pulling up a new doc and the other pulling the whiteboard out from under a curtain.

Ice is an unspecified eldritch being. He has an uncanny valley effect on humans that unnerves the majority of the team who in turn can't understand how Libber, Garmadon, and Wu don't feel unsettled by him. Eventually, the teams warms up to him, and though no one becomes as close to him as Libber is, everyone knows they can come to him if they want to hex their ex or get a demon exorcised (sometimes these are one and the same).

Libber is a raijū and though this isn't common knowledge when she joins the elemental masters, news quickly spreads; she isn't great at keeping secrets. She DOES bite and Maya learnt this the hard way.
