4. Movie of the year? Ive already answered this, but I appreciate the bit too much not to answer it again. What We Do In The Shadows (movie) I dont tend to watch tv shows instead of movies, so when I do they need to be good. And let me tell ya, wwdits is so good. Its creative and funny, and I love how it feels so genuine. It somehow captured a very special emotion, and I watch it whenever I need a comfort movie.

20. What’s something you learned this year?sometimes I forget how much I've changed this year, it feels like its just flown by. I suppose Ive learned to be a little more confident in myself. that I dont deserve it when people take their anger out on me. and that I should relish being a weird little guy, and not feel shame when I'm a little different. I also learned that I love people and places, and I want to see more of humanity and what the world has to offer.

No before pic for the spices cabinets but been productive the last 2 days

The first two cabinets were both full of expired spices and we condensed it down to two yesterday (and i got them catalogued onto an app so we stop buying extras), and I whittled down the first pic of the beverage cabinet into the second.

I think it’d be funny if Dick and Jason, due to wearing bright yellow capes on the job for years, are capable of stealth to a frankly unhinged degree. They barely have to try anymore it’s so second nature. Dick can just completely disappear while in the loudest neon clothes imaginable. Jason is constantly startling people who don’t understand how they missed a guy the size of a fridge standing right there. Bruce is extremely grateful for his unbreakable poker face because they have both startled him by accident and would never ever let him live it down if they knew.

I was writing up a post to help encourage folks who’ve always wanted to start a webcomic to dive in- and that they shouldnt have to fear ‘being perfect’ to start one And as I was going along, it made me sad to realise that.. there is an expectation now in the webcomic sphere, as much as I want to deny it (and that it should NOT stop folks from creating!!! please keep creating, no matter your level) I’m bummed out about the changes in the webcomic sphere over the past 5 years, i’m disappointed that there has been changes to this medium that was KNOWN for all of the different skill levels and flavours of so many different creators. I want to combat that. I want to see more beginner art, I want to see that excitment and embracing of growth. I want to see what made webcomics so accessible to so many creators and readers flourish again. Hopefully, if you see this post, and you’ve always wanted to make a webcomic but felt you weren’t ‘good enough’ : Make one anyways. Have fun even if you don’t know all the ‘ins and outs’ of comics. Make one because you’re obsessed with your characters and you wanna share them with the world. Make one just because you can, and not because it has to fit in some impossible standard we’ve forced onto ourselves because of the changing landscape. Start one, and have fun doing it for YOU!
