Maybe if they had discussed it over the years, the battle of Shiganshina would have played differently, perhaps he would have even gotten earned the serum.

brOTP The obvious answer seems to be Levi, but I’m not sure he had any true friends. Relations, perhaps, but I don’t see him drunk at 3 am bemoaning how he let Marie slip away while Hange and Mike pat his back. He’d seem a good friend, he would hold Nanaba’s forehead while she pukes after a night out, but if they all stopped and thought about it they wouldn’t find any instance of Erwin sharing some deep shit about himsef or his past.

random headcanon I can envision a dark!Erwin scenario in which he likes to groom a young cadet and make them his pet. In my mind he’s either too prim and proper when it comes to sex (straight missionary, little foreplay, whoring ok to get a blowjob bc that’s not proper for a decent woman) or a total predator, I’ve no middle ground. (remember that scene when he whispers something to Mina Carolina? Creepy af.)

unpopular opinion IDK how much it ranks in terms of unpopularity but I think he’s not a nice person. He may have been in his youth but I think ultimately his obsession with proving his dad right ate the goodness he once had. Of course, that ruthlessness paired with his impeccable demeanor is what allowed him to get where he did. As sad as it is, it does take a monster to get shit done in the big scheme of things. At least he’s a handsome, well-mannered monster.

favorite picture of them I like "The" smile panel in the manga as it's a rare occasion in which Erwins always composed demeanor falls and reveals the real him. That said, if there’s something good to be said about Erwin is that he’s a pretty handsome guy. He gives off a very masculine vibe, and has a natural elegance about him, and which makes for great fanart out there (which I appreciate usually for the Levi attached to most of those arts LOL).

“There’s a new student,” Scott starts, and Warren’s immediately holding a hand up.

“Joshua Foley. Sixteen. Healing mutation, right?” At the furrow of Scott’s brow, Warren grins. “Emma called ahead with the details. You know, if you’re going to pull me out of work , Scotty, it really helps for me to know exactly why. There’s no point in being so hush-hush.”

“Enough with the Scotty, Warren.”

“Warry.”

Scott grimaces. “Enough. I didn’t give you the details because, quite frankly, we were still trying to convince Josh to stay here when I called you. I’m obviously very appreciative you were able to get out here on such short notice, even without the details, but—”

“—but you called me out here not even knowing if the kid was going to stay. Do you even know now?”

“We have a lawyer here,” says Scott, as if that explains anything.

Warren shifts on his feet. “Okay? What does that have to do with this? Am I being sued ?”

“No, Warren,” Scott says placatingly, like he’s talking to a student. “We know Josh is staying, because he’s not going to have anywhere else to go soon. Our lawyer is talking with his parents, their lawyer, Emma, and Dani right now, because they’re giving us — the school — custody.”

Oh.

“Oh,” Warren says out loud. “Well…shit.”

“Yeah.” Scott’s smile is small, wry. His arms cross over his chest.  “Your timing’s pretty impeccable, though. We haven’t told him yet. It’ll probably help to see someone he knows he’ll be working with, give him something to look forward to.”

“You’re bribing a kid into staying by using me?”

“He got mixed up in some bad stuff,” says Scott. “He’s…confused. Upset. Doesn’t feel like he should be here. It’s not so much bribery as it is…”

“Giving him someone he can relate to,” Warren finishes for him, a bit deadpan. “Right. Well. Might as well use the sometimes-blue-and-metal-winged person. No doubt he’ll be thrilled to have me show him the ropes to healing.”

“It’ll be fine,” says Scott. “You’ll be fine. The both of you.”

“Yeah, yeah.” Warren waves a hand dismissively. When it comes to Archangel, Warren has preferred the tactic of ‘avoidance’ lately. That means it’s easy for him to just continue on, completely changing the subject:  “Anyways, which lawyer even came up with this idea? Was it one the parents brought on? I can’t imagine one of ours—”

“It was theirs, but ours didn’t exactly balk at it, either.”

Warren’s own brow furrows, very much mirroring the way Scott’s was moments ago. “I’m sorry, what?”

“He’s new,” says Scott, as if that absolves this crazy new lawyer of this very crazy idea, “but it was with good intentions, believe me. There really wasn’t any better way to solve this. His parents would not have been good people to send him home with. You know the type: virulently anti-mutant, and suddenly finding out their own kid is one doesn’t do much to change that. I wouldn’t trust them with him even if they did want to take him home, especially considering the type of people they let him run around with.”

“Still — separating him from his parents? The school having custody of him? Dani being his legal guardian? Scott, that’s…”

Scott holds his hands up, empty and in defense. “Look, at this point? Out of my hands. Paperwork’s being filled out as we speak. Dani volunteered to step up, and I’m telling you, this is the best decision for him. He wouldn’t be safe at home, and he’d be even less safe out on the streets when his parents inevitably kick him out if he did go home with them. You have a problem with it? Go talk to Matt and Dani.”

“Matt,” Warren repeats, wrinkling his nose. “The hell kind of a name is ‘Matt’ for a lawyer?”

“Matthew Murdock.”

Again: oh. 

Warren blinks. His brows raise high. “Matthew Murdock? Of Nelson and Murdock?” Warren is blonde, and rich, and he may act like he’s stupid sometimes (okay, a lot of the time), but he does know a few things. Being a businessman, getting tangled up in all the webs throughout New York, there are certain names that float around that nobody ever wants to mess with. Nelson and Murdock are definitely two of them. “Why is he helping us? ”

“A sadistic streak, maybe? He’s working pro-bono.” Scott shrugs his shoulders, smile growing a little less wry. “Besides, he’s from Hell’s Kitchen, right? Maybe he’s got a soft spot for the underdogs, too.”

Loki & Darcy: Look, it was a crackship. Those two have never even met on screen. No common scenes in canon, nothing. And yet, you can't deny the potential 👌 I fell into that trashcan and I fell hard. Now I'm split between 'they're absolutely terrible in every way and yet perfect for each other' and 'I blorboed so hard that now they're basically my OCs' (for that Dragon Age AU that lives in my head lol)

Bilbo x an undisturbed day: impeccable aesthetic! No plot and little character development, but this ship offers stunning visuals and teases all your senses: the fragrance of the garden in the morning, the taste of fried fish for the dinner, the quiet of a comfy home at night, pipeweed and tea and proper silverware and prized tomatoes. Excellent.

Book: Rules of Engagement x The Royal Romance Pairing: Prince Leo x Hana Lee Rating: PG Word count: 1472 Based on the prompt: 13.“The way I feel when I’m with you...”

A delicate classic piece echoed in the halls of the Palace as Hana's skilled fingers ran across the piano keys in expert motion. While the king and his fiancee were traveling abroad, the nobles who follow them during the Unity tour returned to their homes to rest and prepare themselves for the final stops on the tour before the Royal wedding.

However, the spare time wasn't doing any good for Hana. After Leo returned to Cordonia, they met on a daily basis and easily found opportunities to have a few moments alone together. But as soon as he officially joined the Italian Motocross Team, their interactions were reduced to texting and, when he had time, video chats.

To her surprise, that morning she found out Leo was arriving in the afternoon to meet new sponsors and build a motorbike team in the kingdom. He did mention he could be back soon a few days ago, but he didn't say when. Why didn't he tell me? The feeling was oddly unsettling and she had to keep her mind occupied.

Hours later, she heard chatter and the sound of car and motorcycle engines running. It's him. Standing up and peaking at the window, he spotted Leo's strong figure greeting the servants and talking to the press, flashing his impeccable bright smile. Hana rushed to her room to freshen up, eventually glancing out the window to see if he was still there. But she could barely apply her lipstick on. Her hands shook, little drops of sweat formed around her face, ruining any makeup retouches she did and she couldn't decide on a dress. Or a shoe. Or how to style her hair. 

After several minutes when she was finally ready, she heard motorbikes engines again and ran to the window. The Royal motorcade followed Leo, who was already turning left on a street, driving away. Hana frowned, chewing her nails. She walked out of her room, looking at her phone from time to time. No messages from him. 

As she went downstairs and asked the servants and his staff about him, they said he simply left. He has a few scheduled appointments but didn't say where he was going and left no messages to anyone. She heaved a sigh. He said so many things last time they spoke. How much he longed to see her, the places he wanted to show her, the plans he had for dates with her. Is he really so busy that he can't even call? Or was he just saying the things I wanted to hear so he could get me to do whatever he wanted the next time we meet again?

She fished her phone out of her dress pocket, searched for Leo's number and began typing. Then deleted it. She typed again. And deleted it. She let out another frustrated sigh and went to the kitchen, picked out anything that she could see as comfort food, put into a basket and went to a lake nearby.

She arrived at the tiny wooden dock and looked around the area decorated with a blanket, cushions, flowers and a small table she arranged by herself earlier that day. She placed the basket on the floor and sat down hugging her legs, pressing them against her stomach and stared the calm waters of the lake. She didn't know how long she was there when firm steps approached her. She didn't mind to look. It was probably one of security detail men telling her to go back to the palace.

“I see you found another secret spot of mine,” Leo’s baritone yet velvety voice called, sending a shiver down her spine.

When she turned, she spotted him standing right behind her. No more sunglasses, not wearing any of the garments he did before when he arrived. He looked like he just had a shower, put on something more comfortable and had one of his hands hidden on his back.

“How did you know I was here?” She asked quietly.

“I have my ways.” He winked. “How did you find this place?”

“I was wondering in the backyard a few days before the Homecoming Ball, saw a beautiful drift of mute swans and followed them here.”

Leo chuckled. It did sound like something she would do and he couldn't help but picturing her following swans, charmed by their beauty.

“How did you find this place?”

“I was hiding from my father because he wanted to punish me for pushing Marquis of Guiscard’s son into the fountain when I was five. And before you start to judge me, Guillaume was stuck up prick. He still is, by the way,” he said, making Hana giggle. “I learned how to swim here.”

“Really? I thought you learned during your training to be the Crown Prince.”

“Yeah, but I was too anxious to wait. By the time my swimming lessons started, I already knew it.” Leo sat by her side with his hand still behind his back and looked at the surroundings, observing the small dock decorated and cleared his throat. “I hope I’m not interrupting anything since you appear to be expecting someone.”

“I was. I didn’t have a chance to invite him to join him because he is a busy man and I didn’t want to bother him. But somehow he found me here and I just learned that this is another one of his secret spots.” Hana’s cheeks turned pink.

“You could’ve sent him a text, you know. I bet he’d ditch everyone else to be here with you.” he smiled.

“Would you?”

He nodded.

“But I thought you had a busy day with press conferences, meetings, parties at the place you rented for tonight--” she trailed off embarrassed as he smirked. “At least that's what I heard someone say you would do today,” she said shyly.

“That's one pretty accurate description of my schedule, Lady Hana. I'm flattered,” he teased.

Hana bit her lip nervously, looking down at her hands.

“And just so you know, that's what I'm going to do tomorrow. I have other plans for today,” he said as he gave her an exquisite bouquet of light pink Chinese roses.

Hana stared wide-eyed at the flowers, the same ones she was admiring at the balcony during the Costume Ball. He remembered. “But your personal assistant said you--”

“Yeah, I know what she said. I told her to tell you that.”

“What? But--”

Leo interrupted Hana cupping her cheek and claiming her lips. His tongue traced an arch along her bottom lip and her eyes fluttered shut as she parted her lips open, losing herself into the searing kiss. With a smile, he kissed the corner of her mouth and pulled away. Hana, on the other hand, was having a hard time to understand what was going on.

“You could have told me you were coming back.” She frowned.

“And ruin the chance to see your eyes gleam like they did when you saw me?” His thumb brushed against her cheekbone as a light shade of red slowly bloomed on her complexion. “Hana, I don’t think I can find words to describe the way I feel when I’m with you. I love how you see the best in people, how you find beauty in everything around you, how you deal all the troubles in your life with such strength and grace and still finds time to support my brother and help your best friend. You're amazing, Hana, and I don't even know what I did to deserve you.”

“Don't say that, I just do the best I can. It's nothing compared to exploring the world and trying so many new things by yourself. Or rebelling against what a whole kingdom expected from you to find yourself and write your own destiny, not afraid to make mistakes or face your fears.” She smiled while Leo rubbed his neck looking away.

“Maybe you didn't face an entire kingdom, but you did stand up for yourself before of your parents and some of those awful suitors they were pushing you to pursue during the festival of lights. That's rebellious and smart to me.”

“I had some inspiration,” she replied timidly.

“I'm sure whoever inspired you is having some serious ego boost and must be really proud of you,” he grinned leaning forward until their lips met in a sweet kiss. From the corner of an eye, Leo spotted a basket next to them. “So… Is this a date or what?” He murmured against her lips.

Hana giggled. “Now it is, but you should know I was a little upset earlier and I only brought junk food.”

“Mmm… A woman after my own heart,” Leo disclosed as his lips dotted small kisses over jawline and cheeks while Hana simply beamed, lost in his embrace.

1. Who is your favorite character in 2?

Zuko!!

I actually like all the characters in this show, they were all so nicely developed that I couldn’t help it. But Zuko was a perfection combination of a tragic past, a jerk-with-a-heart-of-gold trope and the fucking best redemption arc I ever did see. So I was pretty much a goner for this dude.

2. Who is your least favorite character in one?

If you’d asked me that a year or so ago, my answer would have been a different one... but now I’d go with Rumpelstiltskin, merely because of my overall feelings about how his story ended (and how the focus needed for that resolution stole precious screentime from other storylines, yes I’m still bitter). But I’m happy I’ve gotten over my hate both for him and any other character I’ve hated in that show. That was a very toxic feeling that I wish I’d never felt, especially for the amount of time I felt it.

3. What is your favorite episode of 4?

Oh, lol, that’s hard. I actually really liked the pilot? But the fact that I bingewatched seasons 1-4 and then 5 on its own, combined with the fact that I was frustrated with some writing choices give me a hard time choosing one specific episode.

4. What is your favorite season of 5?

Hmm so at first I wrote the current one (third) just out of the feeling of vindication I got from recent events, but overall I realized it dragged on. A lot. Especially the episode set in DC... lots of moments that were clearly there only for the torture pr0n.

5. Who is your favorite couple in 3?

Darryl and White Josh T_T and the development of the last episode I watched shook me so hard T_T

6. Who is your favorite couple in 2?

I mean... I don’t ship them, but I’m adamant in my belief that Katara ending up with Zuko would’ve been a much better choice from all perspectives. So yeah, Zutara. But Sokka and Suki were cute too.

7. What is your favorite episode of 1?

7x14 “The Girl in the Tower”. 

It’s been one year and I’m still not loving Alice any more than I love Killian, but she’s still in second place and this episode is one of the best written episodes of the whole show. 7x07 falls close second because despite its problems the lullaby scene still makes me wanna roll in a blanket and cry.

8. What is your favorite episode of 5?

... actually, I’d go with the one where we see how Luke survived being shot and managed to cross to Canada. It’s the first episode we don’t get to see a shit ton of women suffering, and my whumper side finally woke up and appreciated seeing a guy (regardless that he wasn’t very high up on the potential whumpees list) stumbling around the freezing cold with a bullet wound in his gut. But seeing the Waterfords being arrested wasn’t that bad, either.

9. What is your favorite season of 2?

How does one choose from three impeccably written seasons?

I guess the third one, since it’s the one we saw the climax and conclusion of Zuko’s redemption arc and see him join the Gaang.

10. How long have you watched 1?

I bingewatched the first season a bit before season 2 came out, and after that I watched the show every week. I only watched specific scenes from s6 (I’ve actually only watched two or three episodes in their entirety) and specific episodes and scenes from s7. I still rewatch some scenes once in a while, but not with the fervor I did back during the hiatuses between seasons and half-seasons.

11. How did you become interested in 3?

Netflix recommended it and I’m so happy it did. I had heard about it being a musical with good humor and self-knowledge, but I hadn’t expected it to be that good and exactly what I liked.

12. Who is your favorite actor in 4?

Rahul Kohli. 

13. Which do your prefer, 1, 2 or 5?

Let’s see, lazy writing with one (1) character that I happened to get addicted to, the best writing ever from any perspective (aside from that one) or derpressing torture pr0n?

I’m actually... I love Killian Jones despite all the flaws in the writing of him and his surroundings, and I’d dare say more than I love AtLA. 

So yeah. Even though I’m not proud, I choose OUaT.

14. Which shows have you seen more episodes? 1 or 3?

Well, 1. Even with skipping most of s6 and some of s7, it’s still more, especially if you count the rewatchings.

15. If you could be anyone from 4 who would you be?

I’d love to be Ravi, firstly because he’s dope and secondly, call me crazy, but I’d actually love to... “experience” those monthlies he had. Like, live like a zombie for a few days a month then go back to being a human. Considering how, if you ate the right brains, it seemed that being a zombie was a pretty tolerable experience, and even better if you ate some good brain. I’d much rather have zombie monthlies than period, that’s for sure.

16. Would a cross over between 3 and 4 work? 

Totally. And if they combined CEG’s humor with iZombie s5′s humor, I would probably die from humor overdose. Plus I can already see someone singing happily about being (or not being) a zombie, with Romero zombies dancing around, as they do.

17. Pair two characters in 1 who would make an unlikely but strange couple. 

You mean a crackship that no one has thought of?

Ruby and Cruella, lol. The conflict of interests alone...

18. Overall which show has the better storyline 3 or 5? 

Eh I feel like THT dragged on a bit and could have reached the point it’s at now much faster. And I can’t find it in my heart to say anything negative about CEG, truly, so I choose 3.

19. Which has the better theme music? 2 or 4?

I feel bad choosing iZombie for this one... but it’s just that I liked its theme music a lot. AtLA had a great soundtrack in general, but its theme music would fall second here, sorry D:

Full Name: To the Stress Ball Squad they’re Cross-Stitch of Dead End, though that’s not their real name.

Gender and Sexuality: Cross doesn’t bother defining xyr gender or sexuality all that exacting. As a human, they’d probably just call themself Queer and Genderqueer. The closest I can describe it is that he’s genderfluid/multigendered and mspec.

Pronouns: rolling pronouns; they/she/he/xe.

Ethnicity/Species: in the tf verse theyre part Cybertronian, and part one or two other cybernetic species (junkion possibly being one of them). As a human (or as a holoform) xyr a whitepassing person of mixed race.

Birthplace and Birthdate: ???? They’re the oldest of the Stress Ball Squad and have served in at least one war before THE war. Again, a lot of Cross’ past is a mystery, even to people she cares for.

Guilty Pleasures: cheesy soaps and romance novels. Stron wasted a whole bunch of time trying to get a naysaying Cross to try As the Kitchen Sinks only to find out years into their friendship that he owns all 32 current available seasons on HD with bonus content imported directly from Junk (except season 27 but fuck season 27).

Phobias: cant stand the smell of molten metal. Gags the whole way through soldering and welding procedures. (Human equivalent is burning flesh I guess but the molten metal is still A Thing.)

What They Would Be Famous For: She’s pretty infamous for her work in Dead End. Shes got her fingers in a lot of illegal but profitable pies, lets just say. They don’t call them The Butcher of Dead End for nothing (though that’s at least half a jab about their fading surgical abilities).

What They Would Get Arrested For: honestly whatever the government can pin on him at this point, they just want him off the streets.

OC You Ship Them With: um, I dont have many tf ocs and xe’s pretty much incompatible with all of the ones I do have. @spookyscarystrawberry’s oc Gale and him have had a…thing at least once however. As far as my other ocs go crackshipping them with Chloe or ‘Blade has its appeal.

OC Most Likely To Murder Them: Rote has a hankering from time to time, but he’ll have to get in line lmfao

Favorite Movie/Book Genre: loves pulpy romance, erotica, and mystery novels, esp gothic and queer ones (tho I guess all tf media in universe is queer lmfao). Harboiled detective novels too. Watches a lot of garbage telly, but only casually. Stron’s tried to get her into pretty much any form of other media, particularly offworld stuff, but it just doesnt hold Cross’ interest much. They do, however, think its fun to learn spoilers of tv shows they know Stron and Rote are watching and blackmail them with such knowledge.

Least Favorite Movie/Book Cliche: can’t fucking stand romcoms (specifically human romcoms) where one of them’s supposed to be charming and is really just a jackass. They get really heated about this, like they’re watching sports. “FUCKING DUMP! HIM!” gets shouted at the screen a lot. She also hates government propaganda, really fucking stupid inaccuracies about organics (most organic-produced media is really tough to get ahold of on pre-war Cybertron [not like on Junk, where its practically its own religion lmfao] so most Cybertronians just fucking…guess), sparkbonding being used as deus ex machina to fix plot holes and character development failings, medical inaccuracies…

Talents and/or Powers: contrary to popular belief, still almost a decent doctor, not an awful teacher. An extremely prolific black marketeer. Has a million underworld connections. May be a disabled elderly person but still has some combat prowess left. Good at gaming the system and getting what they want.

Why Someone Might Love Them: They’re cunning, clever, snarky, more caring and altruistic than they first appear, they’ve got an impeccable fashion sense. They all but adopted Stron and is the primary reason they’re alive and well right now. He’s also looked out for Gale and Rote, not that he’d advertise it. In her mind, the right connections trump principles, even principles of self-preservation. Xe wont let anyone control xem or the people xe cares about though.

Why Someone Might Hate Them: I mean…they’re a career criminal who primarily deals in body parts and theyre a jackass on top of that…so…

How They Change: well clearly letting Stron into thier life has done them some good, softened them a bit. Rote forced her to confront herself and her actions, that was important too. And Gale and Cross have had a complicated relationship that was painful for them both but helped them both heal.

I don’t think Cross was ever going to be a good person per se, and I also don’t think xe was ever uncaring and entirely selfish either. Maybe xyr priorities shifted around a bit, some of xyr failings grew too big to be ignored. Like I sorta mentioned, healings a big deal for pm the whole gang’s character arcs and storylines, alongside forgiveness and atonement.

Why You Love Them: They’re my favorite angry fallen glam goth bird. Im not always sure if I’m writing the right kinds of characters but Cross reminds me that I can at least have fun with flawed and multifaceted characters. I also like designing their mods and clothes and shit and I love thier relationships to the rest of The Stress Ball Squad.
