Summary: My Senior Year. Man was I a mess. I was doing my stage management internship while writing my twenty four page research paper. Which, I had no plan for at all that year. So, I decided last minute to just do it on my favorite fairytale and just run with it. My professor had me rewrite the first half of my paper at least ten times that semester before I even got it right. And, by that point I was stressing on whether or not I was going to even be able to finish my paper.

I'm a little late posting my "currently reading" this week. I've been really tired. That's the best I've got. As of writing, it is only Wednesday, and it's already been a long week. But we power through and you know what better late than never. I'm currently in the midst of six books so you know it's been chaotic here.

Scarlet Odyssey (Scarlet Odyssey, #1) by C.T. Rwizi - I'm really enjoying this, but I can also tell that I've been gravitating to shorter books recently because it feels so sloowww. And then I remember that this is like a 600 page book physically and it makes sense again. On that scale, the pacing is perfect. I'm just impatient.

The Poisoned City: Flint's Water and the American Urban Tragedy by Anna Clark - I started reading and marking this one up a while ago but it wasn't really a priority so I put it on the back burner. As school is approaching again, I've started reading again to help get me back in that mindset. The amount of blatant lies that are told by people in power that directly affect people's health is astounding.

Race Against Time: A Reporter Reopens the Unsolved Murder Cases of the Civil Rights Era by Jerry Mitchell - Yup. As I've said previously, if you want to get mad about how long these racists get away with murder before getting their comeuppance, I would recommend. Also would recommend reading in general as it's a really interesting read. I just read slow.

Monstress, Vol. 2: The Blood by Marjorie M. Liu - Listen, I will protect the fox child if it is the last thing I do.

Invasion of the Body Snatchers by Jack Finney - Still on this train. Things are happening! I had to put it down because it got dark outside, and ho boy I'm not taking any chances.

State of Disaster: The Failure of U.S. Migration Policy in an Age of Climate Change by Maria Christina Garcia - I'm so glad that I got approved for this book on Netgalley! This is the culmination of my weird niche interests. It's a lot of information to take in so it's not a light read by any means. But I can already see myself buying a copy when it comes out to have on my shelf and mark up.

Bubba Sawyer

I think Bubs would shake a tambourine or play the drums he wouldn’t be good at it at first but it’s the thought that matters. I think he would babble happily to you in a ways of singing he would also bust out some funky moves in means of impressing you. He might accidentally break the tambourine because he’s so strong (or his brothers made him upset please hug him) but he’ll probably get another one (don’t ask what it’s made of please.) as for his music taste I think he’d like country and pop. He’d definitely be into dancing.

I think he’d be a multi-talented guy when it comes to this since “music is his life”.

He’d play a bunch of different types of guitars like acoustic and bass, he’d probably steal Bubba’s tambourine too and he’d probably yell-sing lyrics while playing his guitar waking up Drayton and then getting a beating with the broom, he would totally love to dance with you. I’m pretty sure he uses music to cope with his trauma from Vietnam.

Nubbins

I think Nubs will play acoustic and either learn himself or get his twin to help him. He’d definitely play and sing with Bubs and C.T or he will take pictures or recordings of them playing while encouraging them.

Together

I think their band probably being called something like “The Rowdy Boys” or “Music is my life” they’d all have fun together and dance while Drayton just stares, he’d eventually pull out spoons and play them while the others gladly dance and play with him.

First off, yes, Cody AND Fox are named Charles. Cody is “Charles Christopher” and Fox is “Charles Cameron” because they’re Commanders in canon so I wanted to set them apart and keep that C.C. initial lmao (Chapter 6 is actually gonna talk a little about names and brothers so 👀)

Here’s everyone else, right now only Rex has a middle initial (C.T. haha I’m so funny 😐)

Should Jango be in jail for giving all but one son a C name? Maybe!
