When I’m feeling depressed, it can be nearly impossible to take care of myself, and that includes eating. Here’s a list of some foods that require little to no effort (aka: can be eaten right out of the package or just need to be microwaved), mainly for my personal reference, but also so others can find easier alternatives when they’re struggling.
Water bottles or canned water - stay hydrated!!
vegetables - green beans, peas, corn, black/kidney/pinto beans, chickpeas (all canned or microwaveable frozen bags) - I’ve also tried Harvest Snaps, which are baked snap peas & they’re v good
Fruit - grapes, raisins (or any other dried fruit like apricots/dates), mandarin oranges, apples, applesauce cups, bananas, pears, peaches, etc. (most fruits require no prep anyway, but especially if they’re canned - you can also buy frozen bags)
Canned soup or chicken, beef, or veggie broth
Pasta (ramen, spaghetti, mac and cheese, chow mein) or instant rice are my go-tos. You can buy these in individual cups or bulk packs.
Any microwaveable food - frozen/tv dinners, burritos, toaster strudels (they make an egg bacon & cheese version too!), mini pizzas, breakfast sandwiches… there’s a lot you could do here :)
Dairy - Yogurt, cheese sticks, (or just straight up eat cheese slices, there are no rules here), cottage cheese, almond/oat/soy milk, powdered milk (if you want something shelf-stable)
Grains & carbs - cereal, crackers, chips, popcorn, toast or bagels (I’ve eaten plain bread before tbh and it kinda slaps), Oatmeal (these packets are dinosaur themed & have little sugar eggs!! - https://www.quakeroats.com/products/hot-cereals/instant-oatmeal/dinosaur-eggs)
Nuts - peanuts, peanut butter, almonds, cashews, walnuts, trail mix, etc.
Meat - deli turkey, trail bologna, spam, jerky, frozen chicken strips or nuggets, Morningstar vegetarian corn dogs, canned tuna
Eggs
Fast food or take-out is also a good option if you don’t feel like making anything yourself.
A little tip - most foods you would take on a camping or hiking trip are great! for some, all you need to do is add water & heat it up. they are usually on the expensive side, though!! here’s some I’ve found that are decent:
https://mountainhouse.com/
Things to keep on hand for particularly bad days:
Boost/ensure/Soylent - liquid meals for when the idea of chewing or mixing anything is too much.
disposable cutlery/bowls/utensils so you don’t have more dishes to worry about.
Multivitamins
Liquid IV, Gatorade, or some other form of electrolytes. It’s too easy to get dehydrated!
If you do have a little energy to cook or make something, here’s some ideas:
If you have a blender: frozen spinach + frozen banana + shelf stable almond milk + peanut butter makes a great smoothie.
frozen fruit + frozen spinach/kale for smoothies
Adding whey protein makes it more filling.
dried pasta + jarred pasta sauce (Rao’s is low sugar and awesome, but pricey) + frozen meatballs
Boil tortellini on hand. Its as easy as boiling water. You can eat it plain, add a spoonful of pesto, sprinkle with a little olive oil or butter and some garlic salt, or pour it back in the pan after draining and add a little pasta sauce
frozen fried rice + frozen stir fry veggies
favorite frozen protein and veggies for sheet pan meals
canned refried beans with a tortilla and some cheese to microwave, can add extra toppings too
oatmeal + pb + dried fruit of choice
rice cakes + pb + jam (or substitute bread if you have it)
Rotisserie chicken in a salad, soup, sandwich or wrap
Frozen salmon with some veggies
air fryer foods - chicken nuggets, tenders, fries, etc. You can also toss different vegetables (baby carrots, Brussels sprouts, etc.) in a little olive oil and throw them in there
chicken broth & frozen dumplings - you can dress it up a little with some miso, soy sauce or other seasonings. You could also add some frozen vegetables.
snack type food - a combination of canned Garbanzo beans and black olives. The olives are salty enough that you can get low sodium beans and it will still taste good.
A lot of these ideas I stole from the good people of Reddit (particularly r/depressionmeals)!Here’s the post I referenced if you’d like to look further into it:

[TL] Lady-killer in the Midst of Good Fortune/Chapter 7
Tumblr media
Niki: I accidentally left both my wallet and phone at home. Not only could I not buy anything, I was way too hungry to even move to get back.
Whilst in my hazy state of consciousness, I heard a voice I recognised…
I’m glad I managed to grab HiMERU-kun’s leg before my stomach was completely empty!
HiMERU: HiMERU was wondering what the hell had happened to you…
Kaoru: Literally~. I look down and there’s Shiina-kun on the verge of collapse.
Rei: …That also took me by surprise. What’s also surprising is how much Shiina-kun eats.
Niki: Really? But this is normal?
By the way, I’ve taste-tested everything so no need to worry!
Rei: My goodness…Just watching you eat is filling me up.
Niki: Well if we’re talking surprises, let’s talk about HiMERU-kun! Did you see what was inside the package of that lottery ticket?!?
In the lottery, the prize is a free coupon or a discount of some sort. Usually the discount are for–
They’re all free coupons! With all of these I can get unlimited fries!
HiMERU: It seems that the exchange period is not until later, so HiMERU cannot do it at the moment, Shiina.
Niki: Ah, really? Then I’ll have unlimited fries next time~. This sucks…munch munch.
Kaoru: Again!? We need to talk about this. No matter how you look at this, it’s too lucky.
Rei: Well, considering HiMERU-kun’s good fortune today, this is most appropriate….
Tumblr media
Niki: ? HiMERU-kun’s good fortune?
Now I’m thinking ‘bout it, why are you two with HiMERU-kun? It’s a weird group of people, right?
Rei: Kukuku. It’s a long story, but do you want to hear it?
Niki: Nah, I’m busy eating so keep it short please.
HiMERU: —HiMERU will explain. It’s not that much of a big deal but…
Time: A few minutes later
Tumblr media
Niki: Eeh, did that all really happen?
But I get why HiMERU-kun went into town. It would definitely be bad if I got caught by Rinne-kun too.
Kaoru: Is he really as bad as you say he is?
‘Cos high schoolers can’t go in pachinko parlours, and can’t buy betting tickets since they’re under 20…There’s more restrictions I’m not thinking of right now.
Niki: People’ll use any means possible to get their hands on some.
HiMERU: And Amagi is one of them.
Niki: I’m sure he’d prance around and exploit every drop of HiMERU-kun’s luck!
Rei: I shouldn’t comment on another person's business but…
Niki: Nahaha. Rinne-kun might have just sneezed somewhere since we’re talkin’ about him~.
HiMERU: …Shiina. You don’t have to share out the coupons. You can have them all.
Niki: EeeH, why!? Do you not want unlimited fries, HiMERU-kun?!?
HiMERU: HiMERU is concerned about carbs and calories. He would be happier if Shiina ate them.
Niki: Thank you sooooo much… But HiMERU-kun, you don’t look particularly happy for winning all these things.
So many good things have happened, and you’re not even the slightest bit excited.
Kaoru: That’s right~. HiMERU-kun, you’ve always been chill.
Niki: If I was told “you’re the 5 millionth customer!”, I’d be happy and I’d say “are you being serious?!?”
If you don’t do what I would do, I’d think you’d at least be happy that people are saying “congrats!” and celebrating you.
And the best thing is these free coupons! Just thinking about those unlimited fries is making my heart go completely crazy!
HiMERU: —If that pleases Shiina, HiMERU is happy.
Tumblr media
Niki: …Why’d you say HiMERU is happy instead of HiMERU is also happy. I want HiMERU-kun to be happy too.
HiMERU-kun, why isn’t your heart beating crazy fast?
Kaoru: …I thought it was weird too but when I asked him that he didn’t give me an answer.
Rei: Yes, it was a short while ago, before we met Shiina-kun. It’s because he hasn’t received the good fortune that he wanted…or something like that.
Niki: What kinda friggin’ good luck is it that you want, HiMERU-kun?
HiMERU: ...
–Allow HiMERU to give some examples.
Suppose a day like today, HiMERU finds a hat he likes. Or perhaps comes across some delicious coffee.
Tumblr media
Rei + Kaoru: ?
HiMERU: For good things like that, HiMERU will be pleased as Shiina said…HiMERU shall feel happy.
However, that’s because HiMERU regularly collects hats and often drinks coffee.
Because that’s what he likes. A good hat and delicious coffee.
What HiMERU means by luck is not “you’ve encountered something good.” HiMERU’s interests and preferences are what pleases him.
Niki: …Yeah? So what you’re saying is that if someone who doesn’t really like spicy food got told they could go to an all-you-can-eat super spicy buffet, they wouldn’t be happy?
So like, just because you’ve got a full belly doesn’t mean you’re happy?
HiMERU: …Fufu. A very Shiina-like comparison to make, but you’re not necessarily incorrect.
If HiMERU had been met by good fortune simply by chance, he may have felt that he was lucky…
But there is not enough time for an event like that to happen, one where it would be lucky to HiMERU.
The day that HiMERU is met with great fortune could be today.
Kaoru: …I hadn’t thought of it that way before. Even though HiMERU-kun is supposed to be younger than us, he thinks like an adult.
Though I was just coming along for the trip, I made you tense, so sorry? I was probably irritating.
HiMERU: Please don’t think like that. HiMERU is glad everyone was happy for him. He didn’t exactly create an exciting atmosphere.
—Furthermore, even though HiMERU wasn’t met with good fortune, he supposes it wasn’t all bad.
Rei: Oh really now?
HiMERU: There were moments where HiMERU’s senpais appeared happy and that they were having fun. HiMERU was also able to make Shiina happy.
Wherever HiMERU went, there were people there celebrating him. Everyone had smiles on their faces.
Being able to make people smile is what makes the idol HiMERU happy.
Tumblr media
Rei: Kukuku…What a skillful way you’ve brought this conversation to a close, hm?
After all this, I’m still not sure what good luck means to HiMERU-kun.
It’s nice to hear that what makes him as an idol happy is the smiles of the people around him. ♪

5 Tips On Eating Healthy When Traveling
Travel time tips to eat healthy
Eating healthy when traveling gets a tad too tough even if you are very strict with yourself. Traveling makes one feel good and excited and we tend to get liberal with ourselves towards our diet or weight loss goals. We rejoice in a holiday mood and give in to all the junk food cravings. Months of strict diet charts and eating healthy goes down the drain when traveling. Most of us put on a few extra kilos towards the end of our travel which fills us with guilt later on.
Despite being strict with our diet even during travelling, it is often that one ends up compromising and eating junk or unhealthy food due to the unavailability of healthy home cooked food. This could set a major blow to one’s diet for weight loss and may also have health related side effects like bloating, water retention, acidity, travel sickness, or headaches in many.
Therefore, it is important to follow certain rules for eating healthy when travelling and figure out ways to somewhat stick to your diet for weight loss.
Here are some great tips, which prove to be helpful to eat healthy while travelling:
Pack some homemade meals
You could never go wrong with some packed homemade food while traveling. There is an entire range of food items which last longer without needing any refrigeration. They are non-perishable items which you can carry and consume wherever proper food is not available. Food items like granolas, theplas, nuts, paranthas, protein bars will make sure you get your dose of nutrition on the go at least for one whole day if not more. Try to make use of the small kitchenette or refrigerators provide in the hotel rooms if you can. If the hotel room has a mini-bar, then stuff it with healthy items like fruits, vegetables, curds and milk and munch on these on the go. Did you know that eating crunchy nuts helps fight the craving for salted potato chips? safe_image-22
Keep yourself hydrated
Eating healthy starts with drinking plenty. Yes, that might mean frequent washroom breaks. But, if timed correctly, this will go a long way in keeping you away from junk food while on the move. You can also opt for coconut water and sugar cane juice; delights available wherever you go. Drink plenty of fresh fruit juices and vegetables juices when you can to provide you with all the essential vitamins and minerals. Drinking healthy liquids and juices will help you give sodas and other sugary drinks a miss.
Drinks like sodas are not thirst quenchers, instead they load you with calories and make you feel lethargic and even thirstier.Navratri Vrat Fasting Benefits | 98Fit
Buy vegetables and fresh fruits from hypermarkets
Every city has a hypermarket these days. Wherever you go, hunt for the nearest hypermarket and stock up on cucumbers, carrots, tomatoes, and fresh fruits to munch on the go. In addition to being high on nutrition, these fruits and veggies also curb junk food cravings and keep you feeling hydrated and satiated for long during the travel.safe_image-23
Avoid junk food
If opting for an al-a-carte or a buffet spread, always look for healthier options. While its normal to splurge in on a burger or pizza occasionally, see if you can balance it with other healthier options like salads. Junk food, though delicious on the tongue, makes one feel lazy. They take time to metabolize and are stored as fat by the body. If you have to eat junk food, reduce the quantity of carbs and eat more salads. More so, always be conscious to interrupt one junk food meal with two or three healthy meals when travelling. Things girls say when they are dieting | 98Fit
Small portions
This is another important aspect of healthy eating while traveling. Having small, but frequent portions of your food not only makes one more energetic and active, but also helps you manage your weight on the go. Frequent meals trick the brain as it thinks there is more to come soon and so it does not signal the body to store the consumed food as fat. This helps your metabolic rate to increase and the body can utilize the consumed food in the best way possible.| 98Fit
At 98Fit we promote eating healthy as a lifestyle and hope that these tips will not only help you feel good during your journey but will also help you salvage your diet for weight loss in the best possible way even while traveling. On the other hand, you can also see how to stay fit while traveling with this quick and easy to do workout.

How To Get Slim Fast And Easily – 7 Proven Ways
Tumblr media
Counting calories may not always help with successful weight loss. This method only provides short-term results. But fret not – here’s a curated list of the 7 ways you can shed fat fast and get a toned body easily. Give yourself 2-3 weeks, and you will be amazed at how slim your body looks and how great you feel. Continue reading and get your answer on how to become slim.
1. DRINK GREEN TEA
Green tea is loaded with antioxidants called catechins (EGCG, EGC, and ECG). Catechins detox the body by scavenging the harmful free oxygen radicals and reducing inflammation.
Tumblr media
2. ADD PROTEIN TO MEALS
Adding protein to each meal helps improve lean muscle mass. The muscles, which are made of protein, contract and relax to allow movements to occur. Since the muscles work constantly, they contain more mitochondria (the organelles that convert sugar to energy).
Research shows consuming a high-protein diet aids more weight loss compared to a standard protein diet. Here’s a list of proteins sources:
Protein Sources – Eggs, skinless chicken breast, mushroom, ground turkey, fish, tofu, lentils, beans, soy, nuts, seeds, and milk.
3. CONSUME FRUITS AND VEGGIES
Increased consumption of fruits and vegetables can help you lose weight fast. They are rich in dietary fiber, vitamins, and minerals. Fruits and veggies are low in calories, and they increase satiety, reduce hunger, and lower BMI.
Eva De Angelis, Dietitian Nutritionist, says, “While bananas, like most fruits, are high in carbs, they are also high in fiber, minerals, and antioxidants, all of which are essential for good health. A medium banana also has only 105 calories but provides plenty of satiety, making it an ideal weight-loss snack. Even so, I suggest choosing green bananas over fully ripe bananas for better weight loss results. While both have the same net carb content, the green ones are higher in resistant starch, which acts as fiber, slowing sugar absorption, and increasing satiety.”
Tumblr media
4. COOK YOUR MEALS
Cooking your meals at home will help prevent you from consuming too many calories. Restaurant foods often contain hidden calories in the form of sauces, dips, salad dressings, and taste enhancers. Consuming these every day can be harmful.
Jesse Feder, Clinical Dietitian at the Memorial Regional Hospital, discusses the relationship between rice consumption and the risk of gaining unwanted weight. He says, “Rice alone will not make your belly fat. However, if you overconsume rice every day, you are more likely to gain belly fat. This is simply because rice is a calorically dense food. People tend to have multiple servings of rice at a time throughout the day. This can add up calories quite quickly, leading to an increase in belly fat. If eaten in moderation, rice can be part of a healthy diet that does not lead to belly fat.”
Eva adds, “White rice may be less filling than brown or parboiled rice, and overeating white rice may result in weight gain and belly fat. Yet, white rice is high in manganese, iron, and some B vitamins. While I try to include brown rice more often, I also enjoy white rice, especially jasmine rice with curry. So, when I eat white rice, I always try to have plenty of vegetables on my plate or some seeds for fiber. This way, I can enjoy the texture and flavor of white rice while also getting fiber from other foods. This keeps me satisfied and helps me better control my body weight. ”
Make yourself a delicious salad with olive oil dressing or prepare soup for a quick meal. You may also grill chicken/fish/tofu/mushrooms with veggies, or make daal soup with veggies. You will also be able to monitor the amount and quality of oil, amount of salt, and use veggies of your choice.
5. GET YOUR OWN BEAUTY MACHINE
You can find excellent professional beauty machines that are just as amazing as the machines that you’d find at a beauty spa and can be purchased for home use. The best beauty machines for home use are safe and easy to operate, and you won’t have to have a lot of advanced knowledge in beauty treatment to use them. They create a phenomenon known as cavitation, which is the formation and collapse of small bubbles in a liquid. When it happens, they make “waves” that can break down the fat cells. After, they are naturally eliminated from the body through the lymphatic system. The treatment is often used on areas of the body such as the thighs, buttocks, and abdomen to reduce the appearance of cellulite and to contour the body.
Tumblr media
6. AVOID PROCESSED FOODS
Processed foods, like salami, ham, frozen foods, ready-to-eat, canned foods, and packaged fruit and vegetable juices, contain high amounts of salt, sugar, preservatives, and artificial coloring agents.
7. GET PROPER SLEEP
Research shows that sleep deprivation also causes weight gain. Get at least 7 hours of sleep every day. Sleep helps to rejuvenate your mind and repair the muscles in the body. If you do not get a good night’s sleep, your brain will be stressed out and cannot function properly. When that happens, you will be more prone to eating unhealthy and gaining weight.

What Are You Full Of?
“…When they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.” Acts 4:31NKJV
Lou and I went out to eat. A cabinet near the entrance was filled with delectables— chocolate peanut butter pie, strawberry and cherry cheesecakes, peach cobbler, Oreo cream pie, coconut cream pie, chocolate brownies. None of the delectables were health foods— the only good in them would satisfy unhealthy taste palates and hungers to raise blood sugars— bloating waistlines.
We were seated quickly. Our orders were ample enough food to fill us up. The waitress asked us, ‘would you like dessert?’ Because we were FULL, we could say ‘no thanks’ to the delicious poison. But— what if we’d have chosen to eat a cheese toasty and pig out on the desserts. Being full of what’s right is important.
There’s a healing evangelist Lou loves to watch on the net. Burke shared a story, —he’d been in meetings for two full days. God’s Spirit was working with miracle signs and wonders, paralyzed people walked. When he arrived at the hotel, a beautiful woman came towards him saying, ‘I can make you happy, really happy.’ He countered with ‘I’m already fully happy,’ trying to walk away. She blocked his path, saying, ‘I can make your dreams come true.’ His thought: ‘I’ll slay you with Holy Spirit power and run,’ but said, ‘My dreams have already come true.’ ‘How’ was her response. ‘Holy Spirit has filled me up and I’m running over with His power,’ he responded. The prostitute turned saying ‘bye’ as she left. Burke was full of the right thing.
What are you and I full of? Garbage in— garbage out. Eat fast food and candy only for a month, we’ll feel sick. Healthy carbs, salads, and fish will make our bodies healthier. Feed our spirits nightly television, most secular movies, all media platforms, games, entertainment of every form and two hours of Sunday church. Our spirits, which communicate with Holy Spirit, will be dried up like prunes.
Feed those spirits inside daily with an hour or two of worship, praying frequently throughout the day; Read the Bible every chance we get. Rather, then giving time participating with the world’s entertainment, watch one of the many channels for Believers. Our end result: — healthier spirits. Filling ourselves full of Holy Spirit causes our spirits to be ‘in the Lord’— winners— winners like those of The World’s Strongest Man contest. That’s what we all want, isn’t it? To have God kind of faith and to walk in God kind of miracles. There’s a price to those willing, those who want to be so full of God they can stomp on satan’s territory and take back his victims. Do you want to be this full of Holy Spirit? It’s your choice. You choose.
LET’S PRAY: Sovereign LORD help us to want Your spirit enough to pay the price of giving up garbage for You, in the name of Jesus Christ I pray.

Fuel Your Weight Loss Journey with These 12 Delicious Breakfast Ideas
Tumblr media
As someone who has struggled with weight for the majority of my life, I understand how difficult it can be to find nutritious and tasty breakfast options that support weight loss objectives. I've tried various diets and meal plans over the years, and one thing that has remained consistent is the necessity of beginning the day off right with a good breakfast. In this article, I'll explain why breakfast is important for weight loss and give you 12 delicious and healthy breakfast recipes to fuel your weight reduction journey.
The Importance of Breakfast in Weight Loss
For good reason, breakfast is generally referred to be the most essential meal of the day. Your body has been fasting for several hours when you get up in the morning. Breakfast jumpstarts your metabolism, gives your body the energy it needs to start the day, and helps you avoid overeating later in the day. Eating breakfast can also help with weight loss, according to research. Participants in one study consumed fewer calories throughout the day and lost more weight than those who ate a high-carbohydrate breakfast. In contrast, skipping or having an unhealthy breakfast can have the opposite effect on weight loss goals. When you skip breakfast, your metabolism slows and you're more inclined to overeat later in the day, which leads to weight gain.
The Ideal Macronutrient Ratio for Weight Loss Breakfasts
The best macronutrient ratio for weight loss breakfasts is one that is high in protein and fiber and low in carbohydrates. Protein and fiber are both necessary for keeping you full and happy throughout the morning, while carbohydrate restriction can help keep your blood sugar levels consistent and minimize cravings. Incorporate protein and fiber into each of your breakfast meals. Eggs, Greek yogurt, chia seeds, flax seeds, nuts, and nut butter are all wonderful choices.

Subway Steak and Cheese Review
Tumblr media
Subway offers subs to fit every taste and satisfy every craving. From simple meat and cheese subs to the B.M.T. (short for “Biggest, Meatiest, Tastiest,” the ingredient combinations are endless. One sub that caught a lot of attention when it was first released was the Steak & Cheese Sub, a variation of the famous regional “Cheesesteak Sandwich” popular in Philidelphia. It was tough to find a Cheesesteak Sandwich outside of the city just a few years ago, but thanks to some creativity, Subway is one of the major chains that now offers their version. How does it stack up to the original? Find out in our Subway Steak & Cheese review.
History and Inspiration
The Steak & Cheese Sub is inspired by the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich, which is made from thinly sliced pieces of beefsteak and melted cheese in a long hoagie roll. It was developed in the early 20th century by combining frizzled beef, onions, and cheese in a small bread loaf. Of course, it has roots in the U.S. city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Cheesesteaks have grown in popularity among restaurants and food carts throughout the city. Now, variations of cheesesteak sandwiches can be found in many fast-food chains and even high-end restaurants all over the country. Subway’s Steak and Cheese Sandwich made its debut in 2006 as one of two premium steak sandwich offerings. It’s made of diced pieces of seared seasoned steak, cheese, fire-roasted sweet bell peppers, and onions on your choice of Subway’s aromatic, fresh-baked bread.
Types of Subway Steak and Cheese
The Steak & Cheese sandwich features slices of beef steak, and you can choose either American cheese, cheddar cheese, or provolone cheese. You can also choose a 6-inch sub or a 12-inch sub. Some locations even offer Steak & Cheese Sliders.
Subway Steak and Cheese Review
The Subway Steak and Cheese Sub tastes even better toasted – you want the cheese to be extra melted. To make it taste more like an authentic Philly Cheesesteak, add ketchup and mayo.
Tumblr media
Photo by Taylor Herring under License CC 2.0 1.      Taste and Texture Each 6-inch sub comes with two scoops of steak. Subway’s pre-cooked steak is slightly moist, well-seasoned, and tender enough to chew without too much work. You can choose any cheese you like (some locations offer more choices than others), but I enjoy Provolone cheese, which is mild and nicely melted. I also ask for extra cheese because two slices just aren’t enough. The veggies were tasty, crisp, and fresh. There were plentiful too, so I got a good taste of bell peppers and onions in every bite. I like the parmesan garlic bread or the jalapeño cheddar bread. Both are fresh and delicious toasted. You can add any condiment you like, but mayo and ketchup will give you the more authentic Cheesesteak taste. For variation, I’ve also enjoyed it with chipotle sauce.
Tumblr media
2. Are they healthy? The 6-inch sub has about 26 grams of protein, thanks to the steak and cheese, making it a decent source of this nutrient. The Steak & Cheese sub also contains 10 grams of fat, 50 milligrams of cholesterol, and no trans fat. You’ll get plenty of carbs, as there are 39 grams in a 6-inch sub, as well as 2 grams of fiber and 5 grams of sugars. While meats and cheeses may provide some nutrients, veggies are the healthiest part. Onions are a good source of quercetin, which helps your body absorb other nutrients it needs, so the more, the better. Green bell peppers are excellent sources of vitamins A and C, potassium, folic acid, and fiber. 3. Are they Worth it? If you don’t live in Philadelphia, but you have a cheesesteak craving, the Subway Steak & Cheese might be your next best choice. You can find a Subway location just about anywhere, even internationally – and with so many flavor combinations, you can customize your sub exactly the way you like it. The price is a bit high, but it’s better to buy a 12-inch sub and share it. Filling, fairly nutritious, savory, and satisfying, it’s worth a try for sure.
Tumblr media
Photo by Brian Child under License CC 2.0 Final Verdict It’s not an authentic Philly Cheesesteak, but it’s comparable. It comes with a good amount of sliced steak, melted cheese, and veggies, and the price is fair. Plus, it’s easy to find a version you really enjoy with all the condiment, bread, and cheese combinations.
Subway Steak and Cheese Nutrition Facts
Serving size: One six-inch sub Calories – 340 Total fat – 10 g  Saturated Fat – 4.5 g Sodium – 1040 mg Carbs – 39 g Dietary Fiber – 2 g Sugars – 5 g Protein – 23 g
Subway Steak and Cheese Pricing
Subway’s 6-inch Steak & Cheese, with 4 ounces of sliced steak, is $4.99, but the 12-inch sub is around $8.49. The best choice value-wise would be to buy the bigger sub and either share it with someone or save it for later. If you want to add more veggies, sauces, or seasonings, it’s completely free. But if you want more meat, it’ll cost extra. This sub is fast, convenient, tasty, and overall a solid fast-food choice.  What do you think about our Subway Steak & Cheese Review? How would you compare the Subway Steak & Cheese with a Philly Cheesesteak? What would make it taste more authentic, in your opinion? We’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.  The post Subway Steak and Cheese Review appeared first on Fast Food Menu Prices. Read the full article

Keto Diet in Singapore – How to Get LCHF on a Financial Budget
Many Singaporeans are terrified of the idea of a low-carb, high-fat (LCHF) diet. You should be ready for criticism if you reveal that you are on this diet.
The second most difficult thing about the keto diet in Singapore is dealing with concerns-trolling relatives/colleagues.
Tumblr media
Going to LCHF on a tight budget is the most difficult thing. For a month, swap your $3 char-kway teow with $15 protein bowls from that trendy CBD salad restaurant. You’ll feel lean in many ways.
Regardless of your motivations, the following are some ways you can follow an LCHF diet without breaking the bank.
What Exactly Is an LCHF/keto Diet, You Ask? What’s the Point of an LCHF/Keto Diet? Low-carb, high-fat diets restrict the number of carbohydrates that you consume. This includes sweets, staples such as rice, noodles, bread, starchy vegetables, and most fruits.
The diet includes more fat to prevent you from becoming a hungrier monster. Natural “good fats” such as butter, avocado, olive oil, and nuts are ideal. This is said to keep you satisfied longer.
Tumblr media
You can put your body into ketosis by consuming fewer carbs than you need every day. This is when your body burns fat for energy and not breaks down carbohydrates. This requires that you actually count your carbs.
Even if you don’t reach ketosis, a restrictive diet such as this can help to reduce your daily calorie intake. Carbohydrates are a major source of calories in the traditional Singaporean diet that includes rice, bread, noodles, and more rice.
This diet is popular for people who want to lose weight or fat. However, it can also be used to treat diabetes and other conditions that require a reduction in carbs.
What and Where Can You Eat on a Singapore Keto Diet? Eating healthy in Singapore can be expensive, regardless of whether you are on a diet. Here’s a list of all the options for keto-friendly eating in Singapore.
Meal preparation: Making your own meals is the best choice. It’s affordable and healthy, and you have complete control over the ingredients. This is especially important if your carb count is high. It is time-consuming, however. You can also be a social outcast because Singaporeans tend to associate eating with socializing.
Tumblr media
Hawker food: Most Singaporeans are comfortable eating at the hawker center or Kopitiam. Unfortunately, your options for hawker food are severely limited if you eat low-carb. Say goodbye to laksa and wanton mee, nasi Biryani, roti patriate, and all carb-based dishes that make life worthwhile. In a later section, I will discuss the hawker foods you can adapt to suit your diet.
Dining out: You have a wider range of healthy options to choose from, including more affordable, fast food and more expensive atas salad restaurants. Your budget will have to grow if you eat out at restaurants regularly.
Meal subscriptions: This is a great option if you have the funds. Although these are more expensive, you will have greater control over the nutrition of each meal if you count your calories and carbs.
Meal Preparation for the Keto Diet in Singapore If you cook Asian-style dishes (rice, soup, curry, and a few other dishes), cooking at home can be time-consuming, labor-intensive, and costly.
Western-style meal preparation makes things easier. It is as simple as spending a few hours each weekend cooking and freezing your meals for the week. It is important to use minimal ingredients (so that you can make the same meals again) and low-effort cooking methods (such as baking or steaming).
Here is a list of ingredients that are LCHF-friendly and where they can be purchased in Singapore.
Keto Options in Hawker Centers in Singapore You can eat LCHF at hawker centers. However, it is more common to have thick skin and ask for special order.
You can’t go to a wanton mee stall without asking for noodles. It’s likely you will end up with three dumplings and a handful of leaves. You can find stalls that offer low-carb meals, which are usually quite filling and provide a variety of delicious meals.
Even if you don’t eat noodles/rice, hawker food can be quite unhealthy. These foods can be very greasy and refined cooking oils are not considered to be healthy fat. Hidden carbs include sauces (often sweetened, even though they taste good) and breaded fried foods.
For most of these dishes, you can expect to pay $4-$5 per person. You might need to order additional dishes or ingredients to fill your stomach.
Singapore Offers Keto Dining Options
There are many options for keto-friendly fast food and chain restaurants that offer air conditioning. Most of these restaurants offer a satisfying meal or snack for as low as $10.
There are also salad bars and health food eateries, which are popular choices for dieters. However, these restaurants charge far too much for very little lettuce.
Subscription to Keto-friendly Meals in Singapore What if you are unable to prepare your own meals and don’t have any diet-friendly options?
Healthy meal subscriptions are another option. Keto Catering is one of the few providers currently in Singapore that offers specialized LCHF meals. However, most other services allow you to select low-carb options.

Why Burgers Are Everyone's Favorite
Tumblr media
Burgers are inexpensive, filling, and tasty. But why are they so popular? There are several good reasons. Let's take a look at some of them. Grass-fed beef, double ground chuck, and boneless short rib are just a few of the many options.
Grass-fed beef
Burgers are a staple American meal, and grass-fed beef is a wonderful option for a healthy, delicious burger. Grass-fed beef is free from hormones, antibiotics, and other additives that are harmful to humans. The added benefits of grass-fed beef include a more natural flavor and texture. Click this link for more information about burgers now.
Double ground chuck
Double ground chuck is one of the best burger ingredients because it gives the burgers a great flavor and texture. When cooked properly, this type of burger is everyone's favorite. The meat is soft and flavorful, and it cooks fast, making it easy to prepare a delicious burger for your family and friends. If you want to make it even better, you can add your favorite toppings and vegetables to it.
Avocado
If you are looking for a healthy recipe for burgers, try adding avocado to them. It is delicious and filling, and can be a great summer meal. This burger is also healthy and easy to prepare. To make it, simply mix together fresh avocado, lemon juice, and seasoning. Then, serve with an over-easy or sunny side up egg.
Cajun seasoning
Cajun seasoning is the perfect blend of spices and can be made at home in no time. This seasoning is not high in sodium and gives a unique kick to any dish. It is also very easy to prepare and store. You can put it in an old spice jar, a new one with empty lid, or a ziplock bag. Make sure to store the seasoning in an airtight container to prevent clumping. Once it is sealed, it will last for about 3 months in a cool, dark location.
Paleo gruyere cheese
If you are trying to lose weight, a Paleo gruyere cheese burger might just be the thing you're looking for. With the high-quality cheese, you can have the taste of a traditional burger while sticking to a Paleo diet. This type of cheese has a low lactose content and can be eaten on occasion while on a Paleo diet. In addition to its excellent flavor, it also has a low lactose content, which means that you can indulge in it when you'd like. In case where you decide on a useful content on burgers, browse around here.
Fish sauce
youtube
Fish sauce is the secret ingredient in Burgers. It's a pungent, Asian condiment that is popular throughout Southeast Asia. It's often mixed with tomato sauce in burgers and other dishes. Many top chefs use it to add a unique flavor to dishes.
Sriracha
If you love spicy food, try adding Sriracha to your burgers. Sriracha is a hot chili sauce made in Thailand. It is used in many Thai dishes, as well as Western cuisine. This sauce comes in both sweet and heat varieties and can be found at most grocery stores. Add it to the hamburger mixture before cooking to give it a fiery taste that will complement the flavors of the burger ingredients perfectly.
Cauliflower buns
Cauliflower is a low-carb vegetable that can be easily transformed into all sorts of delicious foods. From healthy burgers to vegified tacos, cauliflower can help you make your favorite comfort foods. Here are a few ways to use this vegetable as a bun for burgers.
Garlic
If you're looking for a unique burger flavor, try adding garlic to your mix. Garlic is one of the most common spices used in the world and can be found at most grocery stores. It adds a strong flavor to burgers that will please even the harshest critic. Simply add chopped garlic to your hamburger mixture before cooking so that it reaches optimum flavor.
American cheese
There are a few key ways to make an American cheese burger even better. First, if you're a cheese lover, you should know what American cheese is. American cheese is not the same as provolone or cheddar. It's a flat, orange square that tastes limp and spongy.
Conclusion:
There are many different ways to make a great burger. The key is to find the recipe that best suits your own taste and preferences. Experiment with different ingredients and see what makes the burgers at your favorite restaurants so special.

LeptiTrim Reviews - Does It Helps For Fat Burning?
No matter how you do it, losing weight is an individual thing. Friends can help you but they can't lose the weight for you. You've got to take charge of your weight loss from the beginning if you want to get serious about losing weight. The following tips will help.
Legumes and LeptiTrim Reviews beans of all kinds help greatly when people are trying to lose weight. Beans have almost no fat, are packed with protein and B vitamins, and satisfy the appetite in a way that extremely low-calorie vegetables don't. They can provide a healthy and lower-calorie substitute for meat; even for meat lovers. Legumes lend body and flavor to soups, veggie burgers, ethnic dishes, and many other things.
Two fantastic words for weight loss: eat salad. Not exciting enough? Research by Joel Fuhrman of "Eat to Live" shows that the most overweight people Burn Boost Reviews can lose prodigious amounts of weight eating prodigious amounts of nutrient-rich, low-calorie food. One key is simplicity: try an entire head of romaine, chopped very fine (the water method in the blender is useful), and topped with an entire can of chili beans. It's a tasty, 300-calorie lunch that is jam-packed with fiber, protein, and vitamins. It will keep you full for hours, not to mention what it will do for your intestinal health.
Carbohydrates are often seen as the bad guy of dieting. While too many carbs can pack on the pounds, they are essential in providing energy and stamina for long distance workouts. Try a bowl of your favorite pasta the day before a big run to give you the extra energy you need.

A great way to help you lose weight is to incorporate protein powder into your diet. Protein is great for retaining muscle mass, and it's not likely to be stored as fat. Eating protein powder is a great way to make sure you're getting enough protein.
Lose weight with delicious dip. If you like to have dip with your fruits and vegetables, there is a better alternative to prepackaged dips. Applesauce makes delicious and healthy dip. It is versatile and will not sway you from you weight loss goals. It is particularly tasty with bananas and melons.
To stay away from fast food, you need to find an alternative. Fast food attracts you because it tastes good and is easily available. Make sure your fridge stays filled with healthy food to discourage you from going out to eat. Try cooking burgers yourself without adding any extra cheese.
If you start taking a weight loss supplement, that doesn't mean that you don't have to do any work to lose weight. You still need to eat in a healthy way, and you still need to exercise. If not, the weight will just come back again; and because of the supplement, you might have a harder time beating it next time.
If you are trying to lose weight you need to distinguish between eating when you are hungry and eating when you are tired and emotional. If you feel hungry, even though lunch was an hour ago, consider if there might be another cause. Did your boss just yell at you, or did someone hurt your feelings? If it turns out you are not actually hungry you should write down why you are feeling the way you do and how food won't help. Then try to relax and do something pleasurable besides eating.
A key to losing weight is to make sure you eat healthy food. Try and eat as much fruit and vegetables as you possibly can. This will help you to get all of your nutritional needs met, as well as fill you up on lower calorie foods, that are also, low in fat.
An excellent way to exercise more without taking too much time is to take the stairs whenever possible. Making such a simple change in your daily job routine will help you burn more calories without too much extra effort. After a few months, these extra steps add up to a significant amount of calories burned. This will help you to lose weight easily in the long run.
When you're dieting, don't drink alcohol with meals. Alcohol has lots of calories, and it can cloud your judgment about what food to eat. Consuming too much alcohol will pack on the weight and cause you to avoid eating healthier alternatives.
Losing weight requires a good night's sleep. When you sleep, your muscles are able to regenerate and heal after a workout, and believe it or not, you burn calories even when you are sleeping. Also, after getting enough sleep you will feel refreshed and motivated to achieve the goals of the following day.
Losing weight is a personal journey that you have to go on alone. Follow the above tips to help navigate and guide you on that journey. Use the tips as a map to get to the weight goals you've set for yourself and don't give up. Keep going forward and you'll get where you want your weight to be.
