Review: Every Time I Go On Vacation Someone Dies by Catherine Mack.

Eleanor Dash, author of the Vacation Mysteries series, is on a book tour on the gorgeous Amalfi Coast when she finds life imitating art as her ex-boyfriend is targeted by a killer. Reading the premise, I knew this was a book I'd dive headlong into and I certainly did!

I will say this, I am a sucker for footnotes. If you have footnotes and use them well (like this does) I am going to be there reading that thing til the very last page, no exception. The narrative voice in this book is so good and made me want to keep reading - I also really appreciate the characters and there were moments I was like, yeah I get it. I often find characters tend to be unrelateable, here not the case.

This book also has such a great pace, we do not hang around to find out what's going on and we are taken straight into the story that makes this book when you begin difficult to put down. I finished this book not long ago and with that ending, how am I meant to sit here and wait for the next one? I can't wait for more from this series for sure.

Funny, gripping and relateable for a murder mystery (they don't happen in real life to me, at least) I would definitely recommend this for every vacation you're planning to take this year, it's the perfect beach read.

I loved this. Where do I even begin? The footnotes, it has to be the footnotes. I may be of an outside opinion, but they added so much to Eleanor's character, provided some insight and tons of humor, and quite possibly might be one of my favorite things about this book. Ok, maybe that's speaking a bit rashly, because over all, I adored this book.

In the line with comedic mysteries, this one has heart and a sarcastic lead woman who just wants to kill off her ex-boyfriend - fictionally, of course. Why would she want to kill the real Connor? The ex who lied to her, continuously blackmails her, and has been a general thorn in her side since their relationship ended. Though it turns out someone might really be trying to kill him - and her - and she might be the only one who has a chance to stop the killer before they wind up with more dead bodies. Because people on this book tour are dropping suddenly.

I laughed until I cried, sent quotes to friends, and generally gushed over this book. I am so ready for there to be another one!!

Seems like it. Sydney also wore it when she switched over to a back pony.

Most of the other alts who got switched to a back pony kept their crowns when they switched as well, although some of them had some different crown styles.

So here’s a secret - my obsessions are my coping mechanisms. I’ve had many over the years, and each one holds a special place in my heart.

With the last of the OG Broadway queens leaving, I’m having some big feelings. I’m sure many of you are, as well. However, I think the new queens will do a phenomenal job, and bring their own unique style of each Queen.

While we do our best to treat the new queens with the respect and love they deserve (they did earn their spots), we also must remember to take care of ourselves and each other. Check in on your fellow Queens, Kings, and non-conforming Royals. The world is hard, but we have to be here for each other.
