I shall do this just for fun! And to see if anyone wants to know about these dorks. These are all from the many stories in my Ao3 Series Igniting Embers!

🌺Here's a longass List+brief summaries for most of my Original Katekyou Hitman Reborn! Characters!🌺

Disciplinary Committee Members:

❗Some of them are too old to be going to Nami Middle, but so is Kyoya(17-ish I think?). They are either attending Nami High, or just loitering around the schools daily with Kyoya's permission❗

Oikawa Tsuneo (15♂️) name mentioned in Canon so I stole him, Corvids/ravens and crows gang leader, the Committee's most versatile fighter and responsible for training room maintenance, relatively non-confrontational, but quickest to point out Kyoya's errors when they do happen

Takahashi Yua (17♀️) Accipitri/Birds of Prey gang leader, their best spy and local mechanic, also responsible for weapon maintance and likes outfitting Kyoya with new things to try out, eternally doomed to be Sana's impulse control as they are rivals, prefers to sit back and watch Kyoya mess up instead of interfering as he needs to learn his lessons the hard way

Okamoto Sana (18♂️) Columbiformes/pigeons and doves gang leader, former Committee Chairman, was usurped by Kyoya, fought to be his right hand man and lost, doesn't hold a grudge but is a fairly intense sadist, likes to watch Kyoya struggle, but always helps out in the end, mischievous and keeps Yua on her toes as her rival, also Seigi's best friend

Irie Akiko (16♀️) Irie Shouichi's sister, civilain, allowed to wear her hair as she likes and to patrol out of uniform, but only for the specific reason that she has to patrol and gather intel on Yumei High frequently, since Kyoya got himself banned and the Committee isn't allowed there anymore, currently learning how to spy from Yua

Chiba Habiki (14♂️) joined the committee recently otherwise civilain, chubby, friendly, great at paperwork, Kyoya's favourite Committee member for those reasons, very strong morals, no longer afraid to speak up when Kyoya is being needlessly cruel, Seigi's little brother which causes weird tensions all around

Kyoya's opinion: I dislike herbivores that blindly follow whom they are loyal to, so I prefer my subordinates be devoted to the cause we fight for, first and foremost. If I make a mistake, I want them to fight me on it. Don't just let me make mistakes.

Previous Demons of Namimori:

Skull's opinion: I like Kyoya's funky little friends. They make the mansion more lively. :)

❗Yes, I headcanon that the Title 'Demon of Namimori' has a lot of duties attached to it and that it's handed down through generations somewhat similar to mafia families, just that bloodlines have nothing to do with it. The Demons general choose their Successors themselves, plurals, because the norm would be that there are two Demons of Namimori at one time, Kyoya is an overworked outlier❗

Morales Ana (deceased/62♀️) Nami Middle's most devoted janitor, the first Namimori adult Kyoya had extended contact with and Kyoya's first confirmed kill, a lot of guilt associated with her <in another AU, yet to be written, Ana raises Kyoya and he throws his life away for her without hesitation because he loves fiercely> A Cloud

Brace/Morales Manuel (64♂️) oldest living demon of Namimori, works on Namimori's biggest graveyard, lives a peaceful life as the 24/7 on-site mortician and undertaker, Kyoya's easiest way of disposing of bodies, very intimidating and immensely powerful, but doesn't hurt a fly unless provoked, Kyoya fears respects him a lot, A Storm

Sawada Mamika (deceased/35♀️) Sawada Nana's twin sister, disappeared under mysterious circumstances when she was 19, presumed dead, six years after her disappearance, 6 year old Kyoya appeared in Namimori, Kyoya has only ever heard about this woman from Niko, who just so happens to claim that Kyoya has her eyes, A Mist

Kamei Niko/Aina (29⚧♂️) Kyoya's predecessor, the Demon that chose him, very kind, very strong, the second adult Kyoya encountered in Namimori, nicknamed Kyoya 'Kyoneko' for his cat behaviours, works various jobs during the day and is a bartender at night, the delinquents adore him because he is kind, knows first aid, cares about them and doesn't ask questions, A Sun

Kamei Arata (31♂️) Namimori's most sought after doctor, a workaholic, incredibly fond of Kyoya and other children, doesn't understand some social cues or simply refuses to adhere to society's standards, will absolutely break laws to keep the children he cares for safe, has saved Kyoya's life and his bones on multiple occasions, will date Verde for a while after some incidents, A Lightning

Kyoya's opinion: Sometimes being the Demon of Namimori is overwhelming and confusing, so I'm very grateful to have the support of these carnivores. I just wish my failures wouldn't feel so soul crushing in comparison to their achievements... I love them.

Chiba Seigi (19♂️) Inactive member of the Columbiformes gang, Sana's best friend, Kyoya's biggest fan, an incredibly creative person, just an overall good guy, liked by most Namimori residents, thus a walking wealth of information, due to his inactive status he can hold gang discussions in his club and throw gang-overlapping celebrations at various warehouses, also has a Kyoya centric art exhibit at the local museum (lmao)

Skull's opinion: They are an intimidating bunch, but I can tell they adore and love Kyoya as much, if not more, than me. So they're good people! :D

Namimori Delinquents:

❗Namimori has around 41 gangs that named themselves after the known orders of birds, there are many sub-gangs, just as there are families of birds in each order, and overlooking all of it are the Four Seasons™, the respective leaders of Namimori's four schools❗

Kazuya (18♀️) Summer of the Four Seasons™, the Discipline of Midori High, one of the only people that have seen Kyoya at his most relaxed and lived to tell tales about it, Kyoya's first kiss, really dislikes how flaky Kyoya can get tho, would like it if he invested more time in the school thing they have going on

Itsuki (17♂️) Winter of the Four Seasons™, former Student Council President of Kokuyo High, definition of dont judge a book by its cover as he is intimidating and large, but really wouldn't hurt a fly, left severely traumatized after the Kokuyo arc, was supposed to be Kyoya's fellow Demon, but can't Muster up the courage to do so anymore, the true driving factor of Kyoya's grudge against Mukuro and all things mist-flames

Aki? (16♂️) Autumn of the Four Seasons™, Student Council President of Yumei High, thinks he is Kyoya's rival, really just bullies Kyoya about the fact that he used to live on the streets, protective of his school and would prefer if Kyoya never got near it again because of a spray painting incident that Aki blamed Kyoya for, constantly tries to square up, yet always beaten with ease, Kyoya doesn't like him

Inoue (20♀️) random delinquent, very supportive of all sorts of mischief, likes flowers

Kyoya's opinion: I'm a delinquent myself. Of course I know these jerks, for better or for worse. They're my friends.

Kusakabe Sora (46♂️) Kyoya's illegal adoptive father, formerly worked within the Hibari Clan, working his way through raising Tetsuya and Kyoya alongside each other slowly, often has to leave Namimori to work as an olympic coach for Sasagawa Saru, doesn't know of the mafia while Canon is happening, enraged and deeply hurt when he finds out post-canon, he thought he'd earned Kyoya's trust, which he did Kyiya is just a coward

Skull's opinion: These kids seem like a really really bad influence, I hope Kyoya moves on from them eventually :/

Other Namimori Residents:

❗Namimori is Mafia neutral ground so a lot of mafia retirees live here now :3❗

Yamamoto Tsuyoshi (42♂️) I don't think he was given enough love in Canon, so I took this man and made him Fon's main love interest, knows Fon from the time Fon worked as a delivery boy at Takesushi to make ends meet after he left the Hibari Clan, only living person that remembers Fon's birth name

Yamamoto Tsuyama (deceased♂️) Tsuyoshi's father whom died of old age, the only reason Fon turned out as stable as he did because he housed, fed and employed that man at a crucial time in his life, passed on happily because he managed to hand down Shigure Soen Ryu to two people, one of which was Fon, Fon hasn't picked up a sword since the man's passing a secret he will glaldy take to his grave

Sasagawa Saru (37♀️) Ryohei's and Kyoko's mother! An olympic basketball player, incredibly strong for the fact she doesn't fight, very fond of Kyoya as he lived in her house on and off before Sora managed to adopt him, left Namimori for Olympic seasons at around the beginnings of Canon, returns victorious after the representative arc, always makes time to videochat with her children every evening

Sasagawa Isha (45♂️) Saru's husband and Kyoko's and Ryohei's father! I'd say he's a stay at home father, but he actually works as a dentist, which is the reason Kyoya was in their house so often, Baby boy really needed help with growing in his fangs after some ✨incidents✨, a loving father and by gosh keep him away from fights the man will fold over like a twig

Touma (10♀️) a Namimori child! Very attached to Kyoya as he often gets lost in town and subsequently needs to be found and brought back home, already an expert at loitering, definitely wants to be a delinquent when he gets a bit older, already gets into a lot of mischief, Kyoya's favourite small animal, perhaps the future Demon of Namimori even? A spunky Storm

Hibari Clan:

Kyoya's opinion: Namimori's adults can be a lot to handle, but I'm used to it. As long as you meet them on a level playing field and you remain polite, they won't cause you any trouble. I don't deserve their praise.

Skull's opinion: Namimori has a lot of kind and unique people. I hope I'll manage to befriend some of them! :D

Hibari Ienaga (~75♂️)Fon's, Skull's and Kyoya's biological father, crusty old cruel very bad and evil, I dislike him but the boys needed a biological father that connects them and gives them similar traumas, A Sky

The Hibari Matriarch (???♀️) an old force of nature? Not much is known about her, only that her sky flames are so powerful, they suffocate and snuff out the flames of those she forces harmony onto, creating convenient and obedient puppets, perhaps she is this disembodied sky flame that moves from puppet to puppet endlessly keeping herself alive, The Sky

Hibari Fubasaki (deceased♀️) Fon's mother, dies tragically at Skull's hands in most parts of the series, but when she doesn't, she smuggles Fon out of the Clan and keeps her children as save as she possibly can, was chosen as Ienaga's bride after her husband passed in battle and did not like it, but had to comply, an extremely talented traditional dancer and fierce martial artist, A powerful Storm

Hibari Hiroki/Yōki (59♂️) One of Fon's older brothers, not related to Kyoya or Skull, wishes with all his heart to one day be the puppet the Matriarch chooses to live in, even if just for a little while, very deep in the Clan's indoctrination sauce, would tease Fon if he cared, A Stormy Lightning that has a superiority and an inferiority complex about his flames at the same time

Hibari Renji (61♂️) Fon's eldest brother, not as deep in the Clan sauce as Yōki, bug would still refuse leaving, unable to hold a sky bond due to a too weak flame, seething is jealousy at Fon's existence, wishes with all his heart to be the cloud that replaces Skull but that won't ever happen no matter how kuch he flares his cloud flames, A Cloudy Storm that would rather be a Cloud

Carcassa:

Kyoya's opinion: The Clan is full of monsters that don't even have a heartbeat. That's all I have to say on the matter. They scare me.

Skull's opinion: I wish the Clan would stop being like that, because technically I... Do still fit in there. It's just. The forced harmonies, the general vibe, everyone striving to outdo each other... That shit gets exhausting! :(

Mari (37♀️) Carcassa's cook and oftentimes the democratically voted Boss of the Carcassa, very motherly but not very patient, hates when Skull gets hurt, A Sun

Hila (7♀️) one of the children Carcassa scooped out of the human trafficking rings they oversee, a handful but very fun and cute, An inactive Mist

Mike (23♂️) Hila's assigned caretaker and a incredibly loyal Carcassa underling, has heard stories of Skull ever since he set foot on Death Mountain, hopes to one day become an Elite and work directly under Skull in Carcassa's Kamikaze Unit, A Rain

Hibari Mizuki (17♂️) One of the mindless puppets the Matriarch send after Skull, but he was unwilling, so Skull purged of the invasive sky flames, now he's making a gradual recovery, A very weakened Misty Cloud that looks... Familiar...

Aisha (43♀️) Skull's right hand woman, the second in command of the Carcassa's Kamikaze Unit, the strategist of Carcassa's Elites, her time is highly sought after, she wields a golf club, a strong Storm

Nate/??? (~50♂️) not much is known about Carcassa's resident designer and architect, only that Skull brought him to Carcassa when he was young and very injured, he's lived with the consequences of his injuries ever since both mentally and physically, occasionally he regresses to the behaviour of a child, especially in stressful situations, as his trauma is beyond severe, but the Carcassa will keep him save, maybe A Sun, but more likely Lightning

Eitleán (27⚧) Carcassa's youngest Elite and Leader! a very popular person so xe was voted the leader democratically, otherwise xe would've remained a mechanic quite happily, has heard of Skull's incredible feats since xe was a child so brought to tears when xe finally meets him, A Lightning

Zack (35♂️) another vessel that was unwilling, but he has been recovering for 15 years so he is at the point where he can almost live normally again, still slightly dependant on Skull's flame to survive, the Kamikaze Unit's weather specialist, responsible for keeping Skull's airships safely afloat

Lucas (34♂️) random Carcassa goon, brother of Marco, one of Carcassa's Elites, prefers being active in Skull's Kamikaze Unit

Marco (36♂️) random Carcassa goon, brother of Lucas, one of Carcassa's Elites, prefers staying at Headquaters

Skull's Family:

Kyoya's opinion: ???? They're. Way too loud. Keep them away from me jfc. Their idiotic behaviour does make me chuckle sometimes.

Bureau Kelsey (38♀️) <A Title to Guard the Strongest specific> Skull's protective adoptive mother, divorced her ex because she is aroace and would prefer raising children actually, so Skull bringing home the ragtag group that is the soon-to-be Arcos is a blessing, A very private Cloud

Spitfire (48♀️) Gymnast, acrobatics expert, tightrope walker, circus performer, Skull's earliest best friend, very upset when Kawahira steals Skull away, marries Bear later in life but they have no children as they take over the circus instead, which makes all the performers their children, Definitely a Storm

Bureau Armen (40♂️) <A Title to Guard the Strongest specific> Skull's adoptive father and his Stunt manager, the boss of a minor mafia, got divorced by Kelsey because he's a romantic and has a 'too-high' libido, dislikes the soon-to-be Arcos because he doesn't want Skull anywhere near the mafia, he wants Skill to have a normal life, A social Rain? Not sure

Mikhailov Katerina (unknown) Skull's biological mother, either she escapes the Clan and gives birth outside it, or she dies within it, Definitely a Cloud

Icy (48⚧) Gymnast, acrobatics expert, tightrope swinger, clown, circus performer, Skull's other earliest best friend, also Skull's first time going all the way, was born nearly deaf so not very talkative, gets an implant later in life and has been improving their pronunciations, Spitfire's twin yet surprisingly A Rain

Bear (53♂️) a huge weight lifter and circus performer, was like a big brother to Skull in the brief time they knew each other as kids, later in life married Spitfire and is now leading the circus alongside her, wishes they could have kids but very understanding of the fact that Spitfire just will not, A cuddly Sun

Kyoya's opinion: They're loud and colorful, but they make Skull happy so I will let him meet them. Outside my home. I have a feeling they would leave a mess behind. I swear I won't get attached.

Skull's opinion: 🥰 They love me so much and I love them so so so so much too!! I wish Kyoya would let them in the house, but he needs his rest after a long day. I get it. Just... hm. :/

Lagi nonton tv bareng keluarga, aku malah asik chattingan. Nggak peduli Mama, Papa, Kak Satoshi pada ghibah alur film.

"Adek asik banget sama hp, mana sambil senyum-senyum. Punya pacar nih sekarang?" tanya ibuku sambil menarik pelan hidungku.

"Mana ada pacar! Ini lho, Chiba Erii update," elakku.

"Punya pacar juga gapapa nak," tambah ayahku.

"KOK PAPA IKUTAN LEDEK AKU SIH?!"

"HAHAHAHA RASAKAN KAU KIR! Lagian bukannya nonton film, malah asik hp-an!" Si Bang Sat, kakakku, malah ikutan.

"HEH!"

"Pacarannya besok lagi dek, sekarang tidur sana. Udah mau jam 10," ibuku yang tadi mancing meledekku, kini menengahi. Lantas beliau bangkit dan mulai mematikan tv. Ayah pun turut membantu mematikan lampu rumah.

Sementara aku dan kakak, beranjak ke lantai dua. Membantu mematikan lampu disana sebelum ke kamar masing-masing.

Indonesia membuka peluang kerja sama dengan Jepang untuk membangun kereta gantung (hanging train) di Ibu Kota Nusantara, Kalimantan Timur (Kaltim). Wacana tersebut disampaikan oleh Menteri Perhubungan (Menhub) Budi Karya Sumadi dalam kunjungan kerja ke Jepang. Pada kesempatan tersebut, dia mendatangi kota Chiba dan melihat kereta gantung yang beroperasi di sana. "Saya juga sempat tadi pagi mengunjungi satu tempat namanya Chiba, di mana di sana ada hanging train atau kereta gantung," katanya dalam konferensi pers, Rabu (22/6/2022). Budi menjelaskan kereta gantung adalah alat transportasi yang umum digunakan di tempat-tempat wisata. Rencananya, pihaknya akan menginisiasi hal tersebut untuk dibangun di IKN. Dia menjelaskan telah mendapat perintah dari Presiden Joko "Jokowi" Widodo dan Bappenas untuk mempelajari sistem transportasi di IKN untuk pergerakan penduduk di ibu kota baru tersebut. When You’re Shy, but Your Sis is Shy Shy Shy (J-idol!Minatozaki!Reader)

aka "what happens when your Jpop group is holding a handshake event, but it's in the same venue as your sister Sana's Kpop group high-touch event."

A/N: I should clarify a couple things first. The names used in this fic are very real, but they don't reflect the idols/groups irl, so take everything with a grain of salt.

Also from the groups to the fanbases, J-idol and K-idol culture are vastly different, so don't go comparing any group against each other. I don't want any more disrespect thrown towards anyone, we are not in 2019 anymore. (If you know, you know.)

I tried to change up a few Japanese/ J-idol centric terms into English, hope it's easier to understand.

As a member of the Japanese girl group Nogizaka46, you were excited for– and dreading– the handshake event coming up this weekend.

It would be a good opportunity to gain more fans and boost your popularity, but having to interact with thousands of fans for two days straight wasn’t really something to look forward to, at least physically.

Not to mention, you’d be in the same lane as Saito Asuka, a popular first gen member, and Yoda Yuki, a popular third gen member (whose nickname was also Yoda). Plus the fact that you were the center of their newest single, your lane would be packed to the brim.

Of course, you were grateful for the ones who bought tickets to greet you in person. People spend a lot of money to attend these events, you could at least give them a memorable first- and often once in a lifetime- experience.

Aside from greeting the fans, there was also one more thing you were looking forward to that weekend.

The Makuhari Messe in Chiba, the venue where your handshake would be held; would also be holding another event simultaneously.

The international Kpop girl group, Twice, would be holding their high-touch event in the same venue as yours.

Not only were you a big fan of the group, having followed them since Sixteen, you were also related to one of the members.

That’s right. You, Minatozaki Y/N, were the sister of Twice’s Japanese member, Minatozaki Sana.

When you debuted with your generation in Nogizaka, there had been speculation that you and Sana were related, since the last name Minatozaki is very uncommon. But neither of you had really confirmed the fact despite the obvious hints, it basically became an open secret at this point.

You hadn’t seen your sister in person in years. Both of you being busy with idol work, your breaks between schedules never seemed to match up. With their high-touch being in the same space as your handshake event, you could finally attempt to go and visit your sister, and give her a hug.

It was the first day of your handshake event, and in the morning, your group had to perform the latest single album’s songs in a mini concert to kick off the event.

You were nervous. Being the center, it meant that you had the expectations of everyone on your shoulders. But you loved to perform, and you weren’t gonna let something such as stage fright hinder your dreams.

After the approximately 2 hour mini concert, the handshake event officially began.

As expected, the line for your lane was long. And it was probably even longer than usual, because it seemed that some of Twice’s fans came to visit you at your lane as well, supporting Sana’s sister before Twice’s high-touch event started.

“Minatozaki-san, please do shy shy shy!”

“If I switch my bias to you, will your sis get mad?”

“Do you have anything you want to tell your sister? I will go to the high-touch later!”

The Twice effect was bubbling that day, even non-Twice fans seemed to have gotten word about you and Sana being related. Almost every fan interaction that day had something to do with Twice.

It was finally your lane’s breaktime. You, Asuka and Yoda were having a late lunch in the resting area with some other members on break, you were hungry.

“Mou~" Asuka started, “why is everyone asking me to do shy shy shy today?” she glared at you playfully.

Yoda laughed, “Can’t help that we have a Twice member in our group, Asuka-san.”

You chuckled, feeling sheepish, “Sorry.”

“Nah~ No mind.”

Most girls in your group loved Kpop, and were also big fans of Twice. Even though some members, such as Asuka, preferred to listen to western music, they still acknowledged Kpop’s popularity and also knew about trends when it came to the genre.

Yoda, on the contrary, was such a big fan of the group, she always begged you to help her get Twice’s autographs. Especially Tzuyu, who was her bias.

Despite being the sister of Sana, you’ve actually never met any of the members of Twice. You’d hoped that you could do that, but your schedules never allowed it to happen.

Your phone rang, it was Sana on a FaceTime call. You answered it.

“Shimoshimo. Sana-chan~”

“Y/N-chan! Are you on break? Did you get my package??”

“Yup! Are you at the venue already?”

“Mhm mhm! We’re just getting ready~”

Hearing the name of the Twice member, Yoda squished her face next to yours to look at your phone, wanting to witness the famous Sha Sha herself.

Sana definitely looked amused at your fellow member’s antics, “Well hello~ I’m Sana! You must be Yoda-chan.” she smiled.

Yoda’s eyes widened at the mention of her name, “Y-yes I am!”

Your sister laughed, “It’s nice to finally meet you~ You worked hard today!”

Yoda was blushing like a tomato at this point.

“I-it’s nothing, Sana-san.”

“Okay, enough drooling at my sister.” you joked, pushing her away.

Your sister teased, “Aw, Y/N senpai being commanding~”

“Sana~” you whined.

“Sana knows my name!!!!” Yoda screamed into Asuka’s ear, who looked less than impressed.

“Yey, good for you. Okay, be good now.” she patted her head, trying to calm her down.

But Yoda was having none of it, so she grabbed Asuka’s hand and proceeded to swing it back and forth.

“Sana knows my name~~"

Asuka looked like she wanted to crawl into a ditch and die.

A commotion outside the resting area had you guys turning your heads, the door opened.

Twice’s J-Line poked their heads in, Sana’s eyes lit up when she saw you.

“Y/N!!!” she ran over to give you a big hug, the other members from your group screamed.

“Oh my god!”

“Twice?!”

“They’re so pretty.”

“Oh my it’s Mina!!” “Momo!!!”

"Wait. So Sana and Y/N are really related??”

You felt emotional, since you haven’t seen your sister in so long. Sana patted your back.

“Weren’t you supposed to be getting ready?” you wiped some tears from your eyes.

Sana had her signature grin on, “Well, there was still time before the high-touch, so I decided to come visit you~” she squished your cheeks.

“Look at my sister, she’s a center now~”

“Mou, cut it out!” You pouted.

After the two of you calmed down from the initial excitement, Sana and MiMo introduced themselves to the group. The members from your group did so as well.

The two groups mingled a bit more, then the Twice members had to leave for their high-touch, while you and the girls finished up your break, needing to switch with some other members.

Just as you opened the door, the second half of members from your group filed in, they hadn’t noticed the Kpop members yet.

“You worked hard today, Y/N-San!”

They greeted you, since you were standing by the door.

Once you moved to the side to let them pass, they finally noticed the Twice members in the room.

More screaming.

Sana laughed, Momo chuckled, even Mina hid a smile behind her palm.

“They’re so cute, Y/N-chan~” your sister pointed out.

“They really are.” You agreed.

“Sana-san.” A member of your group called out to her, “Is it okay if we ask you t-to..” she trailed off, feeling embarrassed.

Sana giggled.

“Of course!”

She then did her signature move.

“Shy shy shy!”

“Kyaaaaa!!!!”

The room erupted into chaos, again. You hoped that the noise from the venue would cover up the screams of twenty something excited girls.

The rest of the day went by in a blur. Some fans came to visit you after attending Twice’s high-touch, cracking more jokes.

Asuka, albeit reluctant, still agreed to do shy shy shy for a couple of lucky female fans. She would definitely be regretting her life decisions later.

Yoda was having a blast. Being a Once, she agreed to most of the fans’ requests, and also interacted animatedly with everyone.

By the end of it, you were very, very tired.

You checked the time, it was 6pm. Twice’s high-touch would end at 7pm, so you grabbed a parcel and asked all your members to gather around backstage.

“I’m pretty sure all of you know by now, that Minatozaki Sana is my sister.” you cleared your throat, “so, uhm, we organized this little thing. Since we still have time-”

You reached into the parcel, and brought out a stack of high-touch tickets.

“- does anyone wanna go shake hands with Twice?”

The scream your members gave you in return was deafening.

When the members of Nogizaka46 appeared at Twice’s high-touch event, it caused an uproar. Since it was so late, you guys were the last ones allowed to enter the venue. Everyone’s eyes glued to you as you all got in line.

The first one was Tzuyu, who greeted you warmly.

“Congratulations on being center, Y/N-san. Sana told us how important it is, she’s very proud of you.” she said.

“Thank you, Tzuyu-san.” you chuckled.

“Oh, I hear that your nickname is Yoda?”

“Mhm, why is that?” she looked at you quizzically.

“We also have a Yoda in our group. She’s a really big fan of yours.”

“Oh really?” Tzuyu smiled, dimples and all.

“I look forward to meeting her then.”

High-touching was fun, it was nice to be in the shoes of the fan for once. Each member greeted you with their unique type of enthusiasm, and their energy inspired you to work harder on your job.

“You know,” when high-touching Momo, she leaned over and whispered.

“I almost auditioned for NMB back in the day.” NMB48 is an official rival sister group that mainly operated in Osaka.

Your eyes widened.

“No way! Sana and I almost did as well.”

Momo smiled, “We could’ve been in the same group, huh?” “Probably,” you gave her a sad smile, “but I am thankful you both made it into Twice instead.”

Lastly, you sat in front of your sister. Feeling mischievous, you decided to play a bit.

“Sana-chan!” you shook her hand, “I’m such a huge fan of you and Twice!!”

Your sister caught on immediately at what you were trying to do.

She entwined her fingers with yours and pulled your face dangerously close to hers.

“Thank you!” she smiled, eyes crinkling dangerously, “Please like me, and me only!”

Whoa. “O-okay.” you stammered. You expected her to be good at this, but not this good.

“Minatozaki-san!” a fan in the audience broke the spell.

Both you and your sister turned toward the source of the voice.

“Haaa?” Sana called out.

The fan continued, “Please do shy shy shy!”

“Me?” Sana pointed to herself..

“Or her?” she pointed to you.

“Both!!” Everyone screamed, including Sana’s and your group members.

Laughing, you and Sana got up to stand next to each other, someone handed you each a mic.

“Chewy, can you sing the line before that, please.” Sana cued their maknae.

“Okay.” Tzuyu held up three fingers.

“Three. Two. One!” Everyone shouted.

“아까는 못받아서 미안해” Tzuyu sang.

“친구를 만나느라 shy shy shy” you and Sana sang, doing the moves.

“Kawaii!!!” Everybody in the room- including the staff- cheered for you two, feeling lucky to witness such a moment with their own eyes.

Amidst the excitement, Sana leaned over to whisper in your ear.

“I wonder if the company could let us collaborate, looks like everyone’s enjoying it.” “I know right?” you whispered back, looking at the animated crowd.

It was a sight to see, both Jpop and Kpop fans having fun together.

She continued, “And I know you’d wanna get a chance to see Momo more.”

You sputtered. “W-what–”

“It’s fine, Y/N-chan~” Sana patted your head. “I saw how you were looking at her.” “But don’t make it too obvious, though.” she joked “You still have a dating ban to put up with after all.” “Minatozaki Sana!!”

Sana's chiming laughter was drowned out by the roar of the crowd.

The journey of my wisdom teeth

2016, saat aku berusia 22 tahun itu kali pertama aku menyadari aku tidak akan pernah menjadi dewasa. Aku didiagnosa dokter tidak akan pernah memiliki gigi sejumlah 32 seperti syarat jumlah gigi pada orang dewasa. Claim tidak menjadi dewasa adalah claim dariku,yang mengingat materi saat dokter kecil dulu bahwa gigi susu pada anak-anak berjumlah 20 dan gigi dewasa ada 32. Dokter gigiku hanya menyatakan jumlah gigi yang au miliki adalah 28 yang sudah muncul, 1 yang akan muncul beberapa waktu kemudian, 2 yang tertidur di bawah gusi dan kemungkinan besar akan selalu tertidur, dan 1 lagi jatah kavling untuk gigiku tidak dihuni siapapun. Mengejutkan bukan?

Menjadi tidak dewasa adalah hal yang dulu aku impikan, lelah bersitegang dan memang banyak yang mencap aku terlalu kekanak-kanakan. Tapi nyatanya anaku yang sekarang belum genap 3 tahun tidak punya hobi bersitegang, yang ada malah tenggang rasanya yang muncul berkali-kali. Maafkan aku anak-anak menjadikan kalian sebagai excuse sikap yang kurang baik.

22 tahun ini juga pertama kalinya aku mencoba merawat gigi lebih rutin selain jaman SD dulu yang ada pemeriksaan gigi rutin oleh dokter keliling. Kala itu dokter gigi yang bisa berbahasa inggris di sendai masih sedikit. Aku yang tinggal di nagamachi harus ke shiheicho dengan 1 kali subway disambung bus selama 1 jam. Lelah. Dan karena bayar pakai asuransi kesehatan nasional jatah periksa hanya 30 menit maksimal. Beberapa kali appointment kerjaan dokter ya hanya cleaning gigi aku per sisi gigi, jadi untuk membersihkan seluruh gigi perlu 4 kali pertemuan. Selain cleaning rahang sudah beberapa kali diperiksa karena sati gigi bungsu posisinya tidur dan dekat dengan saraf. Setelah dikatakan akan ada pemeriksaan lanjutan itu aku berhenti. Jauuh tak sanggup dan cukup mahal ongkosnya meski didiskon 70%

2017 setelah aku menikah aku pindah ke chiyodamachi, dan beruntungnya 5 menit dari apato kami ada dokter gigi baru buka, Chiba dental Office. Sayangnya mereka tidak bisa berbahasa inggris, tapi sangat welcome sampai akhirnya kami berkomunikasi dengan alat penerjemah semacam google translate yang lagi in saat itu. karena sudah lama tidak periksa akhirnya mereka bilang aku perlu perawatan gigi dulu lagi sebelum cabut gigi. sampai akhirnya aku hamil anak trimester pertama mereka tidak menerima pembersihan gigi saat hamil muda dan hamil tua. tapi karena trimester kedua bertepatan dengan penyusunan thesis masterku pun aku skip untuk ke sana. sampai akhirnya punya bayi apalagi semakin-makin malas.

Sampai akhirnya anakku berusia 1.5 tahun, 2020 sudah mulai ke dokter gigi. kami memilih dokter gigi baru yang katanya bahasa inggris bagus udah sering ke luar negeri. Hosokawa family dental clinic. Ibrahim sangat seneng setiap kali ke haisya karena banyak buku bacaan di saną. dań aku mulai juga ingin mentreatment gigi bungsuku agar bisa dicabut. Setidaknya nanti tidak terskip lagi ketika hamil anak kedua. Awalnya aku masih di chiba dental office dan karena sudah lama skip, harus dicleaning lagi dań lagi, kemudian terpotong pandemi jadi menghentikan pemeriksaan rutin juga saat emergency state.

Sampai akhirnya beberapa pekan lalu, 2021 aku memutuskan pindah ke hosokawa dan mereka menyanggupi langsung mencabut giginya karena tidak ada masalah berarti di mulut kecuali si gigi bungsu. Dań karena dokternya lancar bahasa inggris juga enak diskusinya. dari awal sudah merka sudah menyatakan bahwa ini akan menjadi operasi yang sulit karena gigikuterlalu dekat dengan syaraf tapi masih banyak bagian yang dibawah gusi. Jadi mereka perlu memotong kepala giginya dan mencabut pelan-pelan bagian akarnya.

Sampai akhirnya minggu lalu operasi dilaksanakan. 2 jam aku berbaring, anestesi lokal berkali kali. rasanya mereka kayak nambang batu di mulutku. dokternya mengeluh susah susah mułu juga. Sampai akhirnya mereka bilang

"kita cukupkan sampai di sini ya. Saya sudah coba tapi ternyata lebih berat dari dugaan. biasanya wisdom teeth itu akarnya 2 ini punya kamu 4 dan masih sangat kuat. tapi saya tidak bisa mengekstraknya karena takut akan mengenai syaraf yang ini. Jadi ini kami sudah ekstrak kepalanya, kita tunggu beberapa bulan agar dia tumbuh duu baru kita coba akan cabut"

T.T just like TT sungguh itu operasi pertamaku yang sakit banget, dan udah pasrah entah lebai apa gimana tapi udah ngerasa hidup mati karena disuntik berkali-kali dan dicungkil2 sampai kayanya rahangnya kretek-kretek. Seminggu setelah operasi juga masih cenut-cenut. Dikasih pain killer sih, tapi namanya itsna suka ah bisa ah tanpa pain killer tinggal jangan sering-sering buka mulut. seminggu kemudian jahitan dilepas masih cenut-cenut dań dokter bilang tindakan selanjutnya kita ketemu Januari 2022. Dan aku berniat promil Januari juga. jeng jeng mana yang akan duluan 😂. rencana hanya rencana. let us see how this journey ends.

Kebayang kenapa orang bilang sakit gigi lebih dari sakit hati. Sepertinya orang-orang itu ngga minum pain killer atau memang belum sanggup beli pain killernya. aku baru pertama sih ini alhamdulillah bisa ditahan kalau terlalu sakit ya minum pain killernya terus jadi mendingan. Setiap penyakit memang ada obatnya, sakit gigi aja ada apalagi sakit hati kan. now we believe hahhaah

Buruu Talks - Ryomaden Episodes 1-24

Seems like only one user interacted to my pinned post so I’ll get it started.

Okay, so, I decided to watch Taiga Drama, first and right now being Ryomaden, for three reasons: tokusatsu actors, my recent interest in Japanese history (and legend), and uhh its main theme music (I’ve been listening to some of them actually lol)

Ryomaden tells about the life of a Tosa samurai, Sakamoto Ryouma, narrated by Iwasaki Yatarou, the founder of Mitsubishi. So far, I’ve watched half of the whole story (24/48) and I love it. Although, you might need to have a gist of the actual history before watching because there are possibly some historical details changed in the drama 😅

What I liked a lot in this drama is how Teruyuki Kagawa and Takeru Satou portray their characters, Yatarou and Okada Izou.

Coming from a poor family, Yatarou struggled to support his family. This Yatarou sometimes appeared to be annoying but I can’t help but sympathize with him every time he faces misfortune. In fact, when he finally got a better life after he got married and had a child, I felt so happy for him.

As for Izou, while I don’t condone him assassinating people in Kyoto, I felt deeply sorry for him. This Izou respected Takechi Hanpeita (a samurai responsible for Sonnou Joui movement in Tosa) very much and wanted to be useful for him (and Joui) as well as acknowledged. Since that, though Hanpeita never stated it explicitly, his words were translated as the orders for Izou and then the assassination happened.

About the story, umm I might’ve explained it poorly here, but I like how this Ryouma initially wanted to contribute for Tosa but eventually wanted to protect the whole Japan thanks to his talk with Kusaka Genzui and Katsu Rintarou (aka Katsu Kaishuu). He occasionally butted heads with Hanpeita because of this, but still saw him in positive way. He also seemed to value human life very much which made him against Hanpeita who wouldn’t hesitate to sacrifice someone’s life for Joui. I personally find it sad to see him losing his childhood friends one by one including Hanpeita and Izou. It happened when the Magistrate started to arrest them after the August 18th Coup happened and Tosa Kinnoto formed by Hanpeita began to crumble. Ryouma was also pursued by the Magistrate (and I think Shinsengumi as well??) because he was a Kinnoto member that time.

The scene above is from episode 23 (or was it 22? I forgot lol), when he heard that the Magistrate managed to arrest Izou. I don’t think I’m ready to see Izou’s execution and Hanpeita’s seppuku orz.

By the way, Narasaki Ryou (nicknamed Oryou) made her first appearance in episode 22. I’ve been looking forward to see her in future episodes since she eventually married Ryouma in real life. She seemed really cold, in a kinda different way from Chiba Sana whom I think was being cold at first because she was serious in her kendo training. It is said that Oryou saved Ryouma at Teradaya Inn, and I’m intrigued to see how it’s told in the drama.

The scene above is from episode 22, when Oryou insisted to save her sister from being sold by a yakuza.

I also read that Ryouma became a key to Satsuma-Choushuu alliance, and I look forward to see how it’s told as well because throughout the story so far, Ryouma felt like he couldn’t contribute something impactful while his family trusted him and his aspirations. Ryomaden consists of four arcs (mentioned as “season”) and this event might be covered in either third or fourth arc.

Speaking of arcs, I thought the second arc ends in episode 24, but turns out this arc still continues to episode 25 lol. I’ll probably tell more after I finish the second half of this drama.
