Putting aside all the fun for a second, I think this puts on full fucking blast how fake and performative the """"activism"""" you see from people like sophietexas or connereatspants really is.
The core of activism, the bleeding, beating heart of it, is trying to get people to change their behaviors. The very most bare bones, basic element of it, is sitting down and talking with people to find ways to improve things and make things change.
People like sophietexas or connereatspants are more than happy to post a vague tweet for clout or to win some twitter brownie points, but they aren't willing to do the most basic step of sitting down and telling someone "Hey, listen, this thing that you did was harmful to me or to someone else, and I would like you to change". Even when the person or someone related to that person directly contacts them and asks what went wrong.
That is the most barebones form of activism. Hell, not even activism, just straight up being part of a functional community. It's being willing to speak up when someone does something that you think is wrong, and have a conversation with them. Educate them. Explain your perspective and hear theirs.
But they don't want to do that. They don't want to actually see change and improvement and progress. They want likes on twitter and then to run crying when they get called out for being shitty and not putting forth even the most basic attempt to fix things.
It was irresponsible for so many of these creators to jump to accusing George without knowing the full situation. To clarify I'm not a fan of George and ironically I was a fan of some of these creators.
I will be unfollowing them because I believe you are innocent until proven guilty. While it's important to listen to potential victims, it's also equally important to consider both sides. All they really did was encourage their fans to get involved in a mob mentality without proof and turn everything into a circus.
They should have stayed out of it unless they were directly involved. The only creators who should have a public opinion on the matter, were the people in that room.
Hello all, I have come across something slightly confusing.
Where can I find this, does this actually exist, can somebody explain to me the campaign against late uploading, or the campaign for late uploading, or the Gumatas family, or SBC television, or the late uploading planner. Is this a real thing and did it end controversial/ in a government shutdown? Is this just a fic that got out of hand and now I’m believing is real?
I’ve now seen the streams and for some reason my only thought is Wilbur was trying to get a blue creature to limbo so God showed up and grabbed the wrong blue creature.
I was watching The video where Wilbur, Nikki and Conner meet DreamXD and couldn't help but wonder why Nikki wasn't absolutely terrified of the chaotic green god.
Then I remembered, Nikki's never met him in canon. All the interactions she's had occurred in George's dream.
It's so wild that more and more people are meeting DreamXD. I wonder if his story will go anywhere.
Also, they sent poor friend naked and then tried to kill his wool... 🤣
