A Dinner For Three
Tumblr media
Husband!DI!Leon x F!reader
Tumblr media
“Honey, it’s time for dinner. Time to get up,” your husband’s soothing voice gently tugs you away from the prying hands of a deep sleep. You slowly drift back into consciousness but you don’t open your eyes just yet, trying to linger in the border between sleep and the waking state for just a little longer. His calloused yet careful hands gently brush the strands of hair that veiled your eyes and nose away before moving to rake his fingers through your hair, trying to get you to finally get up and join him for a meal. You feel the couch dip around your waist area, prompting your lids to lift open. Your drowsy gaze falls on Leon who is now sitting beside you, a large hand placed on your leg as he gives it gentle squeezes in the way he knows you like while a pleased grin curls the tips of his lips skyward.
“Can’t I have dinner later? I still wanna sleep,” you drowsily mumble as you scratch at your arm, a little itch bugging you.
“I made you kimchi fried rice with two fried eggs and some boneless fried chicken with snow cheese,” he responds in an encouraging tone as he takes your hand and presses a kiss to the back of your hand.
At the mention of these meals, your mouth watered and you shot up. Well, as much as you can sit up with an eight-month old baby bump and the world suddenly spinning at the sudden movement of your body. Leon rushes to be closer with you, helping you sit up as he scans your face and body. He knew that you easily get dizzy now that you’re eight months into the pregnancy so he made sure to move you as slowly and carefully as possible so as not to trigger your nausea, helping you sit up while propping up some pillows behind you to give you time to regain your bearings before fully standing up.
“Someone got a little too excited,” he chuckles as he helps you sit up and recline into the pillows he placed behind your back. “Thought you wanted to sleep a little more.”
“Not when there’s a promise of fried rice, egg, and chicken,” you weakly chuckle while caressing your bump as you try to get your vision to stop spinning. Leon stayed by your side, observing you if you needed anything. After asking and then confirming that you didn’t need anything from him, he got up and walked over to the dining room. A few minutes later, he came back with placemats to place on the coffee table in front of you. He decided to bring along plates of dinner with the utensils to you, not wanting to make things more difficult or tiresome. Dinner was still steaming and the delectable aroma wafted through the air, your stomach grumbling in response to the feast in front of you. Tears sprung to your eyes, unable to hold back on the strong emotions brought about by raging hormones. A soft sniffle and a faint ‘aw’ catches Leon’s attention, turning his head to you. He quickly puts the plates he brought down, moving towards you and kneeling in order to look at you. His hand wipes a tear from your eye, a tender smile of his own playing on his lips though he looks worried.
“Something wrong?” he softly asks. “Why’re you crying?”
He moves in towards you, enveloping you in a delicate hug as he carefully sways you back and forth while he rests his head on your chest, his ears picking up the faint beats of your heart.
“Sorry,” you apologize. “My emotions are just… everywhere. I’m like– really hungry, happy, sentimental, and- and the fact that you moved dinner here instead of making me walk t-to the dining room– and also because I love you so much and you love me too,” you rambled with a sniffle in between.
He pulled back and peppered your tear-streaked face with kisses, his prickly stubble brushing against your cheek with each kiss planted before taking his time to admire his glowing wife, wondering what the hell he did in his past lives to deserve someone like you. “Must’ve stolen from the rich and given to the poor to have the greatest wealth in the form of her love,” Leon thinks to himself.
“I love you too, sweetheart. Very much,” he quietly tells you as he presses your foreheads together. “So, how about we have dinner now?”
You nod enthusiastically, smiling and chuckling as he helps you get down from the couch and into the floor, the ground beneath you lined with a soft towel laid on a pillow. He also got another pillow from the couch, placing it behind your back so you can recline and ease the weight you’re carrying. He gently rubs and presses on your lower back, letting you move into a much more comfortable position for eating. He takes your plate and adds in food, occasionally looking towards you as a way to silently ask if the servings he plated is enough already. You nod and take the plate from his hands, only to add in a few more servings to your plate as an excited gleam sparkles in your eyes. He chuckles and fills his own plate, his gaze occasionally flitting towards you. He takes his own spoonful of rice but not without shamelessly gawking at his wife sitting beside him; the way she lets out little happy squeals and does a pleased little dance is a sight he could watch forever. With each savory bite of the meal she so enjoys, Leon realizes that his life is similar to the dish in some form– a blend of different flavors, textures, experiences, and emotions elicited that led him up to this pure moment.
It occurs to him that this is their first dinner in their new home, having moved out of an old duplex due to safety concerns. The inside of their home is still unfurnished, boxes full and empty in every nook and cranny; the rooms would be void if not for basic furniture like chairs, tables, and their shared bed in the bedroom. This dinner would be their first and hopefully not the last to come in the years that this house will serve as a shelter to Leon’s family. He smiles at the realization, looking to his right to see his wife coming back for more. It warmed his heart to see how something simple and mundane like a warm meal satisfied you, your eyes all dewy and your soul satisfied by the good food. He couldn’t help but inch closer to you, bringing a hand to your growing bump and gently patting it.
“I’m glad you’re eating well, hon.” he softly whispers. “I’m happy that the little one is eating well too. I’ll continue to cook good food to keep you and our child happy, my dearest. Even when our baby grows up, I’ll continue to make sure everyone’s happy with the food they’ll be eating.”
You turn to him and grin, cheeks puffed up and full of rice and chicken. Even in this state, when you look funny and maybe even a little disheveled with your hair sticking out in all directions, he still looks at you like you’re the most marvelous view he’s ever had the chance of stumbling across. He opens his mouth as you move a spoonful of fried rice towards him, closing his lips around the spoon with a pleased hum.
“I know I look gorgeous, Leon, but you gotta get some bites in. Continue staring later,” you sweetly tell him.
He can’t wait for the moment when he’ll be able to do the good ‘ol “here comes the airplane” feeding trick for his baby.

NOTE - Will make note pretty short coz I'm eepy and wanna go to bed :)) Grades tomorrow morning, very terrified hopefully my grades aren't super low👍This fic was not proofread and was done in a cafe while waiting for my ride (finally understand the appeal of doing work in cafes; felt smart). EDIT: It's now the morning after I uploaded this and I decided to fix some things coz I feel like something was lacking and turns out I forgot to give credits, so I added that one right away. I'll try to write something a lot longer soon because my fics have been short lately 😭😭 I also watched a few clips of 'Welcome To Raccoon City' and now it's one of my comfort crappy movies. You slept beside Leon, with your head on his chest and his hand resting on your back. You two were in a deep, comfortable sleep. Unfortunately, the perks of having a baby took that away from you and now you would frequently have to get up in the middle of the night to go tend to your daughter.
You and Leon both woke up to the loud sounds of your daughter crying, you sighed loudly realizing you had to get up. You sat up slowly but were soon met with Leon’s hand stopping you. “It’s fine, I’ll get her.” He said, tiredly. "No, Leon. I'll go, you can go back to sleep," You told him. "I can get her for you, you need the rest," Leon said, starting to get out of the bed.
"Leon, really, it's okay." You told him. Leon got up and stretched his arms, "No, babe, You have a shift in a couple of hours and you need to get your rest," He said, looking at the time on the digital clock on the bedside table. You smiled and laid back down in the bed, "Okay, thank you, baby." You said and gave him a kiss.
Leon smiled and kissed you back, "It's no problem, honey," He said. Leon yawned again as he made his way out of the room and into the nursery. When he reached the nursery he smiled seeing his little girl in her crib, "What's wrong, princess?" Leon asked. Her crying subsided a little and she just stared at him, he leaned over the side of the crib and picked her up.
He cradled her in his arms, she began to start whining again, "Hey, it's okay," Leon told her, bouncing her slightly. He walked around the nursery while holding her, "Let's see, are you hungry? No, I don't think so, mommy fed you not long ago." He checked to see if she had a fever and sure enough she did not.
Leon looked at his daughter and she looked up at him and began to cry again, "Oh, baby," Leon sighed. She continued to cry and he tried to calm her down by talking to her but it did not work, "Come on, baby, what's wrong?" He asked. He looked around the room for her pacifier, but he could not find it. "Damn it," He muttered under his breath. He walked out of the nursery and down the hallway to his and your bedroom.
He walked in quietly, not wanting to wake you up. He made his way over to your bedside table and pulled out the top drawer and grabbed her pacifier. He held her with one arm and placed it in her mouth, it calmed her down greatly and she stopped crying. Leon smiled and bounced her lightly, "That's my girl," He said, kissing her forehead.
"There you are, Leon," You said, smiling.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you up," Leon apologized, making his way over to the bed. You looked at your baby and smiled, "She's a daddy's girl, isn't she?" You asked, reaching out and touching her little cheek. Leon chuckled and smiled.
You and Leon smiled and admired the beauty of your baby, "You know, she really is something," Leon told you. You nodded in agreement and continued to look at her, "I never thought I would be a father, but I am now and I love it. It's like the best thing ever." He continued, his eyes not leaving his baby at all, he was in awe.
"You're so good with her, Leon. You're such a good father," You told him, your hand resting on his thigh. "I try to be," He said. He was still holding her, he looked over to you and smiled, "I think we should move the bassinet in here, we could make some space. What do you think?" He asked, smiling at you.
"Yeah, she seems to like being in our room," You said, smiling. Leon smiled too and looked back down at his daughter. He kissed her forehead, "You like being in here, huh?" He asked her. She cooed and started kicking her legs wildly, she thought it was playtime.
“Hey, what are you kicking me for, huh?" Leon said, in a playful tone. His daughter just looked at him and kicked her legs again. You laughed and smiled, "She just wants to play with her daddy."
Leon smiled and bounced her again, "Well, daddy needs to sleep, so let's go back to the bed, okay?" He said. He stood up and carried her out of the room and went to the nursery. He put her back in her crib, which she was not too fond of. She started whining again and Leon knew why, "Come on, honey, you have to go to sleep," He said, stroking her hair.
He picked her up again and she calmed down a bit, "Shh, shh, it's okay, baby," He soothed her, rocking her gently. She quieted down after a while and Leon smiled, he looked down and saw that she had fallen asleep. He put her back in her crib and tucked her in, "Goodnight, sweetheart," He whispered.
He looked at her sleeping peacefully and he smiled, he thought she was the most beautiful thing. He turned off the lights and quietly left the room, he shut the door and walked back to the bedroom. You were still in bed when he came in, you were trying to go back to sleep. "She fell asleep," Leon said.
You looked up at him and smiled, "That’s good."
Leon nodded and got back in bed, you snuggled up against him, "I can't wait until she starts walking," You said, wrapping your arm around his torso. Leon chuckled and wrapped his arm around your shoulder, "I can't wait either," He said, he looked down and kissed the top of your head. You smiled and laid your head against his chest, "I love you, Leon," You told him.
"I love you too, baby." He responded, kissing the top of your head once again. You and Leon laid there, falling asleep together and you could not have been happier.

Tags: Dad!Leon(Older), Leon is the girl's father; fluff.
Warning: There are none.
Tumblr media
He was really afraid of becoming a father. It's not so much the news of your pregnancy that scares him, but the likelihood that an innocent child may be harmed. His child. Leon is paranoid to worry about you and the baby. He'll probably get drunk before he puts that thought in his head. Don't get him wrong, he wants a family, he had plans after completing the police academy to get married in a few years and have two children, he still wants a family, but his fear devours this desire entirely because he knows that if something happens to the child and you one day, he just won't survive it.
It takes two to tango so I don't think he'll start getting angry and blaming you for everything. Leon just needs a little time, but when this happens and he thinks it over, he will want to transport you to some place that he thinks is safe.
You might have to get into a long debate with him, but this guy doesn't want anything like the Winters family to happen to his family. If someone kidnaps his child, he will simply go wild.
Due to the fact that he is a government agent, all information about you is classified. Also, if a bioterrorist attack suddenly occurs, you will be quickly evacuated along with your child. At least that's what Leon wants to believe.
The house will be nice and simple (perhaps like the Baker's house but without additional extensions) I think Leon likes something classic and cozy rather than modern and abstract. It is unlikely that you will be against it, especially since he does not skimp on quality items and excellent appliances.
Your child will definitely have a great room at all stages of growing up. But when the baby is born, Leon will still insist that the baby girl sleep next to him and with you for the first time. He would have put her in the middle of the bed, but since it was not safe, he agreed to just put the crib on his side. He's just calmer that way.
“Look, I found a catalog with a whole selection of cribs. There are different options, classic, round, even some very strange ones, what position should the child lie in?”
You will laugh, but in the end you will find the right option. Not too expensive, but first you need to explain to Leon that the baby in the first months of life will definitely not be whimsical in which bed he sleeps on. Leon, of course, knows this, as well as the fact that many of the toys that he has already ordered will not be needed by his daughter until at least six months, but he cannot do anything about it.
Choosing a name is a whole challenge. You two will have a debate about this when you find out the gender of the baby. Leon will want a simple name and will roll his eyes when you read him rare names from your notebook.
"Laura, Mary, Ashley, Sarah, Jessica, Kate? These names are for weaklings! Need something crazy and original, right?"
It will really be difficult, but he will win and his daughter will have a normal name.
When his baby is born and Leon holds her for the first time… you will see tears running down his cheeks. He would have kissed this pink, swaddled bundle of joy, but he just sat there, held her in his arms and cried from the fact that he was now the father of a little girl.
This girl will be lucky as hell. Her father would literally give her the whole world at her whim so you're a little worried that she might grow up spoiled. However, while she is a baby, your only problem is the fact that your daughter loves to be held in her arms because Leon constantly carries her around the house, showing her things and telling her some stories.
Leon will wake up at the first cry and immediately try to calm her down. Change a diaper? hungry? If you are not breastfeeding, Leon will easily prepare the formula and feed her. Sometimes you think that he is a better mother than you.
The best toys, a special children's area when your daughter begins to explore the world around her, beautiful and comfortable onesies. Your daughter will definitely have a bodysuit with the inscription "daddy's princess"
A stern special agent in the White House and on missions, Leon becomes an affectionate bear at home.
He is a truly caring dad. Watching cartoons with her, coloring coloring books, playing games when she grows up. This child is the only person who can attack him from behind and Leon’s reflexes simply won’t work.
Often he needs your help and advice on what to do best. He will especially need your help when her first childhood love and first broken heart happen. Because he can get really angry at anyone who causes his baby any pain. He really doesn’t understand how it’s possible not to love her, but more on that later.
At the age of 3-6 years, Leon can only be seriously shocked by some accidental injury or illness. Be serious but he will panic even if it is a common cold. You will have to work hard so that he doesn’t drop all his business and take your daughter straight to the doctors for all the examinations. Of course, you will dissuade him, but he will repeatedly check the baby while she is in bed. He will kiss her on the forehead and lie with her for a while so that she does not worry (even if she was initially calm). It would also literally break his heart if Leon heard you sneeze.
She will definitely be daddy's princess. She almost literally walks on his head, does her dad's hair with pink bobby pins and combs his bangs, and paints his nails with polish. Leon allows her to do almost everything to him. But of course he won't come to work with pink nail polish.
Support any hobby. It could be dancing, drawing or playing football. The main thing is that she likes it herself.
What Leon definitely won’t allow is to look into his safe where he stores weapons and ammunition. The password will be complex and only he will know it. This is one of the few things that Leon forbids his child.
He, of course, loves his baby and is ready to do anything for her, but… he won’t have a second child. Every time he returns home, a terrible thought comes to his mind: “What if something terrible happens to my family.” He often has a nightmare in which you and your daughter have turned into zombies, so he will need a drink.
I think one day, when your daughter woke up, she left her room and went down to the first floor, holding in her hands the plush bunny with whom she usually sleeps. She saw her father sitting at the table with a bottle of whiskey as he simply looked thoughtfully into his glass.
Leon, of course, immediately noticed her and looked at her. God, tears will immediately flow from his eyes when he stretches out his hands to her and your daughter runs to him. His arms wrap her tightly in his arms and pull her onto his lap. You will see this picture and the perplexed look of children's blue eyes turned to you when your husband is just sitting at the table, holding his beloved child and crying because he is fucking AFRAID!
You understand why Leon behaves this way. He finds it difficult to get rid of these thoughts because of his job. He survived Raccoon City, Tall Oaks, saved the president's daughter in Spain from parasite-infected fanatics, and a whole bunch of other crap that you probably don't even know about. He has every reason to be afraid and sometimes you regret that you did this to him. Although you know that Leon loves your daughter with him, the very thought that something like this will happen to her simply destroys him to the core.
Your little girl wipes the tears from his cheeks and kisses her daddy on the cheek, telling him that he doesn’t need to cry. Leon simply presses her too tightly, feeling her scent. If he could put an end to zombies and their creators once and for all…
Leon will take her and you back to the bedroom. Next to the two of you, he will be able to sleep a little peacefully, but you know that his sleep is never sound.
You try to talk to him but he pushes you away. He really loves you, but he hates it when people mess with his brain. Of course, whiskey is a bad medicine and Leon himself does not want his daughter to find out that her dad sometimes has the weakness to drink, thereby ignoring his problems, but still… no matter how hard he tries to be perfect, he is not perfect.
When your daughter goes to school, Leon will rejoice at any of her successes. She will also help with homework as much as needed. He will explain everything in detail, clearly and without shouting (sorry, this is a sore subject for me).
He will not always be able to attend school events, unlike you, but if possible he will not miss them. However, he asks you to record everything on camera.
Oh yes, on his desk at home there is a framed family photo of the three of you in the park, joyful and carefree.
So, adolescence is…complicated. Leon understands that his baby will begin to grow up and has no problem organizing small changes in her room. And he also understands that hormones are coming into play. Sometimes screams and anger accompanied by loud slamming of the door are simply inevitable.
That's the time when he can really start to get angry and swear in response, so you realize you need to cool his temperament… The truth is that you really have to punish your daughter when she crosses all boundaries.
Nevertheless, if something suddenly happens, she will always run to Leon, knowing that he will protect her. He may be angry, but as mentioned above, he will do everything possible so that nothing happens to his family.
Partying with friends at night? Absolutely not! Never! Have pity on the old man's heart. Leon will find a bunch of reasons not to let her go anywhere at night. After all, there will be alcohol, shitty guys who can offend her or get her drunk and take advantage of this by ruining her life. Perhaps Leon will exaggerate, but until the age of 16 he will definitely be adamant about this. Sometimes being the daughter of a government agent just isn't possible.
And then, before letting her go to the party, he will sit her down on the sofa and give her a long lecture, telling her to always watch her drink, drink only what she pours for herself or is poured in front of her. If are distracted, do not drink under any circumstances, but take another glass! If someone pesters her, he will show several self-defense techniques and immediately tell to call him. Well, the cherry on the cake - he still won’t allow her to stay there all night. He also won’t bother with calls, but she will need to respond to all his SMS, if not… he will come right away.
Even you yourself will get tired of this overprotection, realizing that Leon often goes too far.
But you ask your daughter to be more lenient towards her father, because he is simply worried about her life. However, when you are young and have not seen what Leon saw, it is difficult to understand his actions and behavior.
There will be conflicts and there will be a lot of them.
The only thing that can make your daughter understand the actions of her father is if someone kidnaps her and confronts her with the infected, forcing her father to go to another wilderness inhabited by the infected. (bad version of events).
Leon will immediately go after her, promising you that he will return her safe and sound. He remembers how he saved Ashley, but she was already an adult girl and not a teenager who, at most, had seen horror films on TV.
Leon, like Barry or Ethan, is ready to kick the ass of any bastard who hurts his baby. In any case, he will do everything to save her.
I imagine this concept as a teenage girl hiding behind her father's back, holding on to his kurta or vest while he shoots enemies, sometimes throwing improvised objects like bottles or stones, stunning the opponents.
After returning home, she will hug you tightly and cry for the hundredth time, promising her father that she will no longer contradict him.
There is no need to say what condition Leon himself will be in after this personal rescue mission. All three of you will experience extreme stress after what happened.
In a good scenario, bypassing the kidnapping, peace between father and daughter would most likely have come much later, when the teenage years would have been long behind us. Probably this realization would have come to her when her naive view of the world ceased to be naive and she began to understand what her father had been struggling with for many years.
Oh yes, about first love. Leon would definitely be vigilant and keep a close eye on everything. He has a whole database and he will immediately run through all the boy’s data, having learned everything about him, and yet he doesn’t really like the idea that some dubious guy is hunting for his daughter.
If Leon realizes that this is an ordinary bastard who runs after every skirt… well, he will find a way to take him away from his treasure. If not and he's just a normal guy… he'll just watch and give a couple of warnings.
The first parting… Leon consoles as best he can, but he has no idea what to do. He himself got drunk and slept through his first day of work, but this option is definitely not suitable. That's why he needs your help again.
"Movies, books, maybe give her something? What can I do to stop her crying into her pillow?! I don't know what else to tell her!"
In the end, he will gain strength and give a good speech, comforting your daughter's broken heart. After all, life does not end with one boy who, in Leon’s opinion, only proved that he is not worthy of his daughter.
He's a good dad. Not ideal, but your daughter wouldn't want it any other way. Of course, she is sad that he may not be home for a long time and sometimes he is too suspicious, but he is her dad who will move the earth for her.

The soft morning light filtered through the curtains, filling the room with a soft glow, and you stirred in your sleep, letting the warmth of the sheets envelop you, but something was missing.
Hesitantly, you sat up, blinking away the remnants of your dreams and focusing on the emptiness next to you — Leon was not there.
Yawning, you swung your legs off the bed and walked down the familiar, dimly lit hallways of your home, the sounds of cartoons quietly coming from the living room as curiosity drew you closer.
As you walked into the room, your heart instantly filled with warmth at the sight before you — there, sitting on the couch, was Leon, his strong arms wrapped around your newborn daughter.
She opened her eyes wide and was mesmerized by the colorful images on the television, her tiny fingers twitching in fascination.
Leon, dressed in a soft black shirt and a pair of comfortable sweatpants, looked so casual and effortlessly affectionate as he held her.
He fed her with a small spoon, carefully guiding it into her mouth, to which the baby's mouth obediently opened, and she swallowed every bite without fuss.
You couldn't help but smile intuitively, your heart filling with pride and love as you watched this enchanting scene.
The love in Leon's eyes as he looked at your child was undeniable, and your heart filled with gratitude for having such a caring and devoted husband.
You quietly walked towards the two of them and Leon immediately looked up, his eyes meeting yours and a warm, adoring smile spreading across his face.
He tilted his head, allowing you to kiss the top of his head, your lips brushing his dark hair.
— «You're up early» he whispered in a low voice so as not to disturb the baby, as he kissed her tiny forehead softly before turning his attention back to you.
You responded with a contented sigh, wrapping your arms around Leon's neck from behind — «I couldn't sleep without you next to me»
Leon laughed quietly — «Sorry for waking you, i just thought i'd give you a little break, let you catch up on some rest»
You kissed his cheek and played with his light stubble, enjoying the warmth of his skin on your lips — «You're an amazing father, you know that?»
A shy smirk tugged at the corners of Leon's lips, for as long as you remember him he had always been a man of action and never shied away from danger, but the prospect of fatherhood brought with it a different kind of uncertainty.
The responsibility was enormous, and he worried daily that he might not be good enough.
You nuzzled his cheek, whispering the words he desperately needed to hear — «You've been there every step of the way, from the moment we found out we were expecting, you've read every parenting book, you've painted the nursery, and you've put together the crib a thousand times, you're an incredible father»
Leon's eyes sparkled with excitement as he turned to face you, holding your baby carefully in his arms — «I love you» he whispered simply, placing a gentle kiss on your lips, pouring his gratitude into his actions.
As you looked at your daughter, her tiny fingers wrapped around Leon's, you felt a deep sense of satisfaction that this was your family, and it was wonderful.
Previously, a few weeks before your beautiful daughter was born, Leon had taken an extended leave from his demanding job — he was determined to dedicate every minute to being the best father he could be, and when your daughter was born, he stepped into that role with unwavering devotion.
His days were filled with changing diapers, feeding and rocking her crib at night to lull her to sleep, there were moments of frustration and sleepless nights, but Leon took it all calmly and stoically, his love for the child was unshakable.
Slowly, the days turned into weeks and you watched in awe at Leon's transformation — he was the one who calmed your daughter's cries and made her giggle with pleasure, he was the one who mastered the art of swaddling and could sing lullabies that instantly calmed her down.
You fell in love with him all over again as you witnessed the depth of his love for his family — he was your partner in every way, sharing with you the joys and challenges of parenthood.
As you stood together and looked at your baby, mesmerized by the colorful images on TV, you knew this was a moment worth cherishing, an unspoken understanding that your family was everything you could ever want.
Leon continued to feed the baby, his warm smile never fading as he whispered words of praise and encouragement to her, and you couldn't help but melt at the sight of his unwavering devotion, your heart filled with love for both of them over and over again.
After a few more spoons, the baby finished her breakfast, and Leon gently wiped her mouth with a soft cloth and held her close to him, to which she yawned and her tiny hands reached for his shirt.
With a gentle smile, he began rocking her back and forth, calming her into a state of relaxation.
You leaned over and whispered — «You're a natural, Leon, she adores you»
Leon turned and looked at you, a mixture of pride and love on his face — «I can't believe how lucky i am» he murmured — «I was scared, you know, about being a father, i didn't think i could do it»
You hugged him from behind tighter, resting your head on his shoulder — «You've done more than i could have ever hoped for, you're an incredible father, and you've brought so much happiness into our lives»
All of this time, Leon's gaze never left your daughter — «I love her so much» he said, his voice full of emotion.
Tears welled up in your eyes as you looked at him, and you were filled with love and gratitude for him, knowing that you had chosen the right partner to embark on the journey of parenthood, and at that moment you were very happy.
Hugging him, your daughter settled between you as you shared another family moment of deep warmth and love — your little one was surrounded by the unwavering love of her parents, and in her innocent eyes she saw nothing but the purest form of love.
While the TV continued to show cartoons, the room was filled with Leon's quiet lullabies, and an atmosphere of absolute love and contentment reigned.
Your heart was full, and in this simple, everyday moment, you knew that you couldn’t dream of anything more.

Tumblr media
Tw: no actually trigger warnings, just fluff. Leon being a dad.
a/n hope you enjoy loves, feedback is appreciated 💕 discord server link ( last time I’ll talk about it, I swear)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
[] funny enough he always knew that he would have a daughter, so he picked out the name Arabella, and he always promised himself that he would find her mom.
[] he’s such a girl dad. Would do anything for his daughter
[] he allows her to paint his nails. He attends every tea party as well.
“Daddy do you like you tea?” You could hear the both of the playing with her tea set.
“Of course peach.” This made you stop in your tracks, Arabella wasn’t tall enough to reach the sink. You walked into her room and leaned again the door frame.
“Hunny, where did you get the water from.” You asked her and you looked over at your husband and his face dropped.
“From the dog water bowl mommy.” She said excitedly. Leon never again trusted the water from her tea pot.
[] she comes before everything, his work, his friends everything. Besides he would rather stay home with her anyway.
[] he wanted to give her the childhood he didn’t have.
[] the both of you definitely have the white picket fence house. With the big White House and a Labrador dog. Leon didn’t see how the dog would project the both of you while he was gone, but if it made you happy. Then so be it.
[] the three of you have a tiny garden that consists of daisy’s, irises and many more.
[] she has a mini toy motorcycle, to match his
[] everyday at dinner she has to drink apple juice, because she can’t have the apple wine that he drinks. She loves to match with her daddy.
[] he bought her a mini leather jacket.she always would take his, so he found a mini version. Aunt Claire fell in love with it.
[] sometimes their outfits coordinate. Every night before bed, they picked out their outfits
[] since he played football, in high school. She wanted to play football so he signed her up for the practices.
[] he’s never told her what his job was like, she just knows that daddy does something dangerous
[] one day older kids were making fun of her pink dress, and she got shoved in the mud. Then they started laughing when she said her daddy would take care of it.
[] after school closed, Leon stormed there with her in tow. You hadn’t ever seen him that mad before. The principal was walking to his car and him and Leon shared a few words.
[] let’s just say an event like that never happened again.

Platonic Yandere Father Leon Kennedy
Tumblr media
•If Leon is possessive and obsessive with his wife, then you are in the same position as your mother but worse the moment you were born and being held in his arms.
•After all the hardships and deaths he experienced when he was a newbie cop and the outbreaks that occurred, he didn’t want you to leave him or your mother. The two people he loves so much that Leon is willing to give up saving the world in order to rescue you and his wife.
•Leon may not have gotten the childhood he wanted after his parents’ death but he didn’t want you to go through the same traumatic experience as he did when he was a kid.
•Also made you another reason why he should continue fighting to stay alive.
•As a father, he would aid your mother to take care of you, help her bathe you, feed you, go out to buy baby supplies, and insist that your mother should stay home and play with you before he comes back.
•When his job doesn’t call for him, he spends all his time and attention on you. Showing you the toys he brought as you lay on your crib and watching him give you many plushies to hold. Would coo at you while he carries you and makes a promise to you that even if you grow up into an adult, he will always protect you and your mom and kill anyone who tries to take the both of you away.
•Definitely watches over you in the middle of the night after waking up from one of his many nightmares. Eyes were glued to you as you slept and sometimes he would doze off on the couch in the nursery room.
•Would play games with you like hide and seek or tag when you learned how to walk and talk.
•As a child, you were naive about the dark past Leon has with your mom, you only noticed how your mom was never allowed to go outside alone with you. Only Leon could accompany you and your mom during outings together. You also noticed how tightly his hand held your mom’s while the three of you went on a walk through the empty road in an isolated forest where the house is located. Leon never allows you to run far.
•When it’s just you and your mom at home, she begins to tell you stories about how she met your father when both of them were young. Your father used to be a police officer and he saved her from being attacked and they went traveling around Raccoon City. She left the outbreak of the t-virus part out, including how she got kidnapped by Leon a few weeks later after six years when he finally reunited with her.
•As you grow up into a teenager, you start to begin to notice how isolating your father is. One time you asked if you could go outside, Leon would look at you, startled before a smile forms on his face, and gives a short speech about how dangerous this world is and how there are dangers at every corner. But he would take you outside the home if you begged enough for a four-minute walk before going back inside. But if you asked one more time to go out he’ll usually ignore you or just say no.
•Leon never lets you go out alone, or out with some friends. Your dad doesn't trust anyone with you or your mom.
•Leon is a spoiling father, buying you anything you want with no limits if you asked. Your mother taught you to be grateful for all the things Leon and her have done for you.
•Leon is a bit too much as a father, he hates when you do something without him, or on your phone and not paying attention to him, and wants you to always text him or say it to him physically goodnight to him before sleeping. But what Leon hates the most is when you watch horror movies and he would sometimes get a bit ptsd from them when he sees a scene quite similar of what he went through. He thinks you're too young for them and bad for your mental health so if he ever catches you watching something scary, he would give you a death stare before turning the tv off.
"I don't want you to ever watch any of this." Leon fumes, a frown casting across his face as his tone is deep and dark. His eyes stares deep into your own. Not once looking away from you, You were nearly quivering on the couch but kept a brave face. And ever since that day, you only watched horror movies inside your room on your laptop.
•Would ask you questions about your day when he comes home. Also expects you to go to him for a hug when he returns from his mission. If you don’t show up then he’s at the door of your room, knocking and engulfing you into a tight hug. You’re not allowed to complain.
“Am I not allowed to hug my only child? I miss you every day even when we live in the same house together.” He tells you as he pulls you back to look at your face with a questioning look.
•You’re not the only victim of his affections, your mom is too as he forces kisses on her face.
•Leon also checks your phone sometimes just to watch out for you, as he claims but you brush it off since he just wants to see if your friends are a bad influence. You kept it from your father when he was away for his job as an agent, you would always delete the messages between you and your friends.
•But what you didn’t know is that Leon hacked into your phone before he even gave it to you as a gift when he first brought it for you when you turned 13 years old; giving him access through your contacts and other stuff. He simply wants to know if you hide things from him. You would never find out the real reason why your friends suddenly leave the school. There’s nothing you can hide from him.
•You started to become a bit scared of your father when you started to read people's horrifying experience on the internet of what they went through of someone stalking them and obsessing over them. One woman told the story of how her boyfriend never allowed her to talk to any guy or friends because he was scared they were going to take her away from him. But when she confronted him about his behaviour, he excused it saying that "This world is dangerous and I am simply protecting you." And you quickly found out that your dad is more than just an agent.
•You noticed how jumpy your mom is around Leon and how in the middle of the night, he would always say how much he loves her and that he is doing this for your and her own good. You even recall hearing your mom crying silently in the kitchen. She never says "I love you" towards Leon.
•Your curiosity brought you to investigate your parent's past.
•You only came to fully realize the toxic behavior of your father because you decided to snoop around your dad’s office after managing to open the door, using the lock-picking technique you learned from the internet.
•You were curious about why your father forbade you from entering his office, but also you figured it would be easier starting with him considering of his actions and it’s not like he would find out immediately of what you did. That’s what you reassured yourself.
•Many documents could be found and a report on your father’s desk, that’s when you came to know about the Kennedy report and see your father’s younger picture. You saw how stoic and stern his face was, so dull with no sign of light.
•You could definitely understand why as you read through the report.
•You also came to know what actually happened in Raccoon City that your mom didn’t tell you about. But what was more shocking is that you opened a file containing your mother’s entire information that was hidden in his drawer and many pictures of her. Including a newspaper talking about the missing woman who is known to be your mother.
•The moment Leon left the house not before giving your mom a goodbye kiss and giving you a kiss on the top of your head as well, you confronted your mother about the file and how she kept the outbreak from you. Even how your dad literally has an entire information and pictures of her. That’s when you saw her face morph into terror as you demanded an explanation of what is going on.
•Tired of her keeping secrets.
• And your mother told you the entire story of what happened in Raccoon City and Leon’s obsession that drove him to abduct her, as a way to protect her. She even mentioned that he cared for another woman named Ada Wong but he still chose your mom. Your mother didn’t leave any single detail out as she told her story of how Leon gaslighted her and how she tried to escape many times but failed. You couldn’t help but see your parents in a different light now.
“Let’s run away together Mom.” You told her with a determined expression as she profusely shook her head, not agreeing with you.
“N-no my love, you don’t know what your father is truly capable of.” Your mother stuttered as she cupped your face.
“What do you mean? Dad’s a secret agent and he knows how to fight, right?”
“There’s more than that.” Mom whispers to you, her frightened eyes never leaving your face.
•What you two didn’t know is that Leon has placed hidden cameras in the house, watching and listening. He heard the entire conversation and was rather heartbroken that you suggested to escape with your mom.
•And even disappointed when he watched you go through his work in the office. Leon is not dumb because he knows there will be a time when you truly find out the truth. He is aware of your growing suspicion.
•If you ever escaped, you wouldn’t go that far since your father would always find you. He placed a tracker on your clothes, phone, and jewelry. If you wear it.
•Leon never treated you and your mother bad! He could never bring himself to even use violence towards the both of you. You didn’t understand but don’t worry. As a father, he’ll make you see through his perspective in his own way.

“I Love You.” — L.K.
Tagging @alespov ✨
Leon Kennedy x Fem Reader
Part 1/1
Warning: mild language, violence, usage of weapons, death, angst, and some RE4 spoilers!
You and Leon were good friends. Replace good with best. You two confided in each other, protected one another, and were in love but it was left unspoken. But it was obviously felt. There was a pull between you that couldn’t be denied. And anyone with a pair of eyes could see you and Leon cared for each other. You would die if it meant keeping the other alive. That’s what love is supposed to be, right?
“I’ve been waiting for you, rookie.” Krauser flipped his knife in the air and caught it. “Oh, worried about the girl, is that it? Hmm, that’s just like you. You always had poor judgment. You’d better be worried about the one beside you too.” He chuckled, taunting Leon. “But if you think I’m going to let both of you out of here alive… you’re even more naive than I thought. You can’t save them. You can’t save anyone!”
Your heart was pounding against your chest as you stood beside Leon.
“Give it up, Krauser!” Leon yelled at him. “Being a lackey for these maniacs… won’t bring your men back. And what the hell for? Revenge on the government? You think they would want that?”
“Revenge? You think I’m doing all this… for revenge?” Krauser asked Leon, looking down at him.
“Isn’t that what this is all about?” Leon questioned.
“You see, in that jungle, I had a revelation. The most important thing in this world is pure, unadulterated power! Los Iluminados have given me that.” Krauser stated.
Leon responded in retaliation, “You know, you were always an asshole. But at least you had some kind of code, some honor! And look at you now.”
“Enough reminiscing. Move out and draw fire, soldier.” Krauser did a backflip and drew on Leon with his assault rifle.
And for some reason, time didn’t slow, it felt as if time quickened. As soon as I seen Krauser had his gun aimed at Leon, I moved in front of him. I had moved just at the right time.
And I had been shot, taking not one but three bullets for Leon. One hit my left shin, another hit my left thigh, and the last one hit the right side of my stomach.
In that moment, I felt my entire body go numb. I couldn’t feel anything as Leon dragged me behind cover. He then ripped parts of his t-shirt off in an attempt to stop my bleeding, but we both knew it would be futile.
“Y/N, why would you do that?! Taking bullets for me?! Are you crazy?!” Leon had shouted, tears evident in his now reddened eyes.
“I would never let you die, Leon.” I murmured, feeling light headed already. “Get up and kill that sick son of a bitch. I’ll be fine for now.”
Leon nodded, the color had already left his face.
“And hey.” I grabbed his hand, staring into his ocean blue eyes. “I love you, Leon.”
“Y/N… I love you.” Leon spoke, his voice wavering. “I’m sorry.”
And with that, he had went to fight Krauser. The last thing I heard before I passed out was Krauser’s voice.
“Better run, rookie!”
~~~~
My body was shaken until my eyes opened. My eyes fluttered openly slowly; they felt so heavy. At first, my vision was blurry. My eyes took a long time to focus but once they did, I noticed Leon was the one above me.
“You have to stay alive. Please. Please don’t go. Please don’t leave me.” He pleaded before his bloody, calloused hands released my shoulders and cradled my face.
I wasn’t sure if the blood on his hands were mine, his, or Krauser’s. Maybe even a combination of the three.
“Goddamnit, stay awake!” His loud voice forced my eyes open again that I didn’t realize I had closed again.
“L-Leon. I don’t know how much longer I can stay… Just know… that I’ve loved y-you for a long, long time.” I told him weakly. “I’d do anything for you.”
Leon had tears rolling down his face. “I know. And I’d do anything for you… I’ve loved you for a long, long time too.”
I smiled when he said that. Even though I was dying from blood loss, I was the happiest I’d ever been knowing he felt the same way about me, and that he was getting to live. I didn’t care if it costed my life. I had nothing left to lose.
“You killed Krauser?”
He nodded.
“Good. I knew you could.” I replied before closing my eyes again. At this point the numbness had worn off and I could feel each bullet where they were lodged inside me. It felt like my whole body was on fire. “G-Go save Ashley. P-Please.” I spoke but it was barely a whisper. I don’t even know if it was even audible.
“No, no. Please stay with me, Y/N.” Leon pleaded once again, caressing my face. “I love you.”
It hurt me that he sounded so helpless and sad.
“Don’t die on me!” Leon shouted trying to wake me up again.
And this time, I had no choice but to let go…
~~~~
This was a sad one… Sorry about my writing being rusty. I haven’t written anything in about six months. Hope you all liked it though! Love you all! 🫶
If anyone is wondering, college is going great! It’s hard and stressful, but so fun. Just turned 20, and I start clinicals in May. I made the President’s List (4.0 GPA with at least 12 credit hours) each semester I’ve been going. I have some good friends, and have been staying very busy with homework and studying. I have a very important exam that I’ll have to start studying for so send me some positive vibes! They’re very much appreciated. Then my boards will be coming up. But it’ll all be worth it in the end! I graduate this year: December 2024! So excited about that! 🤍🩺🫀

Last Line Challenge!!!
rules: in a new post, show the last line you wrote (or drew) and tag as many people as there are words (or as many as you feel like).
I was tagged by BOTH @aliettali and @ochi-does-art. Thanks so much you guys!! I'm gonna be tagging @sparkchemy, @honor-strength-passion, @phoenixmetaphor, @aquarelacosmica, and @kaychen666
(Sorry for tagging some of these moots out of nowhere- I don't have a TON of active art moots on here that I actually connect with... which is something I should really fix!! At the very least, I hope you folks know I greatly appreciate and look up to you <3) Anyway, here's my current WIP. It's Simulation Swarm. I'm currently very fueled by Sun Bleach Flies by Ethel Cain, considering I don't have enough religious symbolism packed into this fic and I really need to work on that. Also to reiterate, yes they will have a happy ending, they WILL have a happy ending, I PROMISE!

Every time you ask Leon to go to the gas station to pick up something small or to fill the car with gas he’d bring your daughter with him. He’d have her in the back in her car seat and they’d be driving, Leon has his sunglasses on and his leather jacket while his little girl matched him.
“Daddy can you play my song?” She asks kicking her feet happily.
He’ll stifle a laugh and nod his head. “Of course princess.” He says and turns on the radio, “How You Remind Me,” by NickelBack blaring from the speakers. “This one?” He asks and sees her smile.
“Yes!!” She’ll yell and they’d both start yelling the lyrics as they go to the gas station.
Of course he’d reward his little girl with a bug juice every time they go to the gas station.

A Familiar Face

Tumblr media
!Dad Leon Kennedy x gn reader
Warnings : Mentions of Leons alcohol addiction, dad leon?, reader is called 'mama' by their child, use of y/n once, angst.
Author's Note : I like this more than I thought I would so i might do a sneaky lil part two.
Summary : You get recognised by a familiar face while out shopping with your son.
Tumblr media
"This one Mama."
"The green one?" You'd ask, smiling softly down at your son- he nods his head eagerly. "Okay, then." You reach up to the plastic toy boat and place the box in your shopping cart. You take your son's hand in yours while using your left hand to push the cart along and continue down the toy aisle.
"Ooo! This, Mama!" Your son pulls his hand from your grip as he rushes over to a small box on the lower shelves. "Look!" You frown slightly when he holds up the box and shake your head from side to side.
"I think you are still a bit too young for that, kiddo."
"Please!" He lifts the box up higher and points it at you. "Pew, Pew!"
"Put it back." You state sternly.
"I want it, let me have it!" He shrieks, crossing his arms as he glares up at you.
"Don't use that tone with me." You raise your brow, crossing your arms as you mimic your son. "Put it back." You repeat.
"Fine!" He places the toy gun back on the shelf with a thud.
"Good. Now follow me, we need some more juice." You say, holding your hand out towards your son.
"But- you said I could have another toy." He replies, curling his bottom lip.
"I said that before you threw a tantrum."
"I'm sorry Mama, please!" He pleads, you shake your head once more and take his hand in yours. "Mama!"
"No. I said no." He frowns, giving in as he follows you down the rest of the toy aisle and into the drinks one a few aisles across. You grab a few cartons of apple juice and place them into the cart as well as a carton of orange.
"Y/n?" You turn at the sound of your name, eyes widening from shock as you turn to face the man it came from.
"L-Leon?" You ask, yet you already know the answer; he hasn't changed at all, apart from a couple of new scars across his cheek. "I-" You stand speechless as you stare at the father of your son, who you haven't seen in four years.
"How are you?" He asks.
"I'm fine- good." You nod, the grip of your hand tightening around your sons slightly.
"Is-" He watches your son closely, eyes drifting across his small features.
"He's called Lee." You state shyly, Leon grins widely at his own nickname.
"He has your eyes."
"He does." Leon coughs quietly as the three of you stand awkwardly in the shopping aisle.
"You, uh." He looks up at you. "Didn't answer my letters, or my text."
"I didn't open them." You state bluntly. "Are you here to buy some more alcohol?" You mock.
"I haven't had a drink in three years." He replies. "I promised, remember."
"You promised a lot of times, Leon." You express plainly.
"Can we go somewhere, talk about this." He asks.
"I- I gave you so many chances." You sigh deeply.
"I know you did and I'm sorry. I really, really am." He looks down at your son sadly. "Please." He pleads.
"I-" You glance down as your hand is tugged on and look deeply into your sons wide eyes.
"Mama, who is this?" You crouch down to Lee's level and run your hand across his face gently.
"This is your dad, sweetheart." You reply, tucking a loose strand of hair behind his small ear. He looks puzzled at your answer. "I need to talk to him, Leon." You say as you look back up at the older man. He nods in understanding.
"I will call you, i will make everything right- I promise." He whispers gently.
You nod, "Okay."

(Second) Prettiest Fairy Princess
Tumblr media
Dad!DI!Leon x F!Reader
Tumblr media
“Say ‘bye’ to momma!” Leon beams as he holds his daughter, Aurora– or Rory, as you two lovingly call her.
“Bye momma!” the little girl in his arms beam. One hand wound around his neck and the other raised up, a tiny hand waving at you.
You say your own share of byes too, pressing a kiss to your 4 year-old’s cheek before giving Leon his own kiss to his lightly chapped yet still pink lips. You get in the Uber Leon picked up for you, shutting the door and heading to the mall where you will be having a girls’ day with Helena and Hunnigan, your former coworkers. Despite retiring because you were going to become a mother, you still stayed close with the two.
As soon as the car is no longer in his sight, he heads back into your shared home. Rory asks to be put back down so Leon does as she wants, bending down with a slight groan and making sure she’s standing upright before he lets go and bends back up, another groan escaping his mouth along with the faint pops of joints. My age is definitely catching up with me now, he thinks to himself though he doesn’t mind if it’s you he’ll be aging with.
“Daddy! I want to play!” Rory excitedly says as she takes Leon’s hand with her tiny ones and drags him to the stairs, heading for the direction of her room.
“Alright, alright, kiddo. Let’s head up, no?” he asks with a pleased smile. There’s dishes waiting in the sink and laundry waiting to be folded but they all could wait if it means spending some time making his daughter smile. The sight of his daughter’s grin and the gold wedding band that flashes a bright gold beam whenever the sunlight hits it is something his former self didn’t think he could ever experience. Back in ‘98, he was certain that the farthest length of meeting the greatest love in his life and starting a family would stop at dreams and wishful thinking but he was wrong.
He didn’t even realize they had reached the top of the stairs as he almost trips, engrossed in the sweet monologue he had going on in that head of his. His daughter’s tiny arms push him into the pastel yellow and pink room before shutting the door and proceeding to yank out tutus and tiaras from a toy basket.
“Sit.” she sternly says as she points to the carpeted ground right beneath Leon’s feet. Not one to disobey a lady’s orders, he promptly sits down with crossed legs and looks at her with genuine interest. Not too long after, Leon is dolled up to look the part of “a pretty princess for a tea party but you’re only the second prettiest because I’m the first one”, which earns a small laugh from him. Even to himself, he's second to everything because he always keeps his girls at first.
Rory hands him a small mirror so Leon can see the sparkly splash of pink, green and orange on his eyelids as well as the most pink blush he’s ever seen. His lips are the brightest shade of red ever making him look real goofy but if it means making his daughter’s day, he doesn’t mind; she’s the princess and he’s just the jester (and the occasional knight in shining armor). She swiftly puts her own play make-up on, her own lids smeared with different sparkly shades of pink and her lips in the same red shade as Leon’s.
“Your highness, let me get the tea and cookies.” she says in a wonky British accent.
“Alright, my beautiful princess.” Leon says, though he doesn’t put on a fake accent.
“Daddy, no! You’re supposed to also say ‘and please give me the sugar plum tea’! Again!” she says with a hand to the hip, dropping the accent.
“Okay,” he softly mutters with an amused smile. She definitely got the sass from her mother. “Alright, my beautiful princess, please give me the sugar plum tea!” he repeats.
She smiles brightly and excitedly announces that it’s coming right up. She walks out of the room, occasionally coming back in to take some more cups, plates, spoons, and bowls. Wait? Bowls? The princess is putting her heart and soul into this so-called “sugar plum tea”. Because the princess was brought up with manners and polite etiquette, she served Leon some cookies and cakes as he waited, along with a Beanie Baby that her uncle Chris got her (insisting it’s a snack, providing no further explanations). Playing along, he loudly made chomping sounds while she walked out of the room and busied herself with the tea. After a few minutes, she walks back inside with a tea pot and tiny cups filled with water.
“Sorry to keep you waiting, madame. My chef ahem is new to the kitchen so I had to tell him how to prepare tea the princess way,” she apologizes as she sets the cup in front of Leon with a complementary saucer.
With a sharp eye, he looks at the water and sees that there isn’t anything floating on the water; the water doesn’t look cloudy too and it’s impossible for her to have gone downstairs and taken water from the dog’s bowl so he deemed it safe to drink. After all, she did exert some effort into actually “making” the tea. He hooks his fingers in the loop of the tea cup, making sure to emulate the sticking out pinky finger just like Rory is doing before taking a sip. “The water doesn’t have an odd taste. Okay, she definitely wasn’t fooling around,” Leon quietly observes. He gives her a bright smile, complimenting the tea and calling it “the most delightful beverage to ever tickle my taste buds, a true drink fit for the prettiest princesses in this kingdom”, which prompts the little girl in front of him to giggle and start complimenting the “chef” who prepared the “tea” (the “chef” is, in fact, the Djungelskog that Leon got for you when you were 6 months into the pregnancy and very much emotional every time you saw the bear at IKEA’s window or online site). Apparently the chef is French and has worked with Barney and the Little Einsteins, according to her. This entire moment is too silly and wholesome so Leon decides to take a selfie, making a mental note to send this to you later on.
─────────────────────────────────────────────────────
The tea party carried on for a few more minutes until she got drowsy, prompting Leon to get up and carry her over to her bed. Grabbing a few sheets of wipes, he removes the eyeshadow and lipstick on her face before unclipping some clips from her hair and taking her tutu off. It doesn’t take long for her to fall asleep and Leon picks the toys up, pouring the water out of the pots and cups and wiping them dry before putting them back in the basket. He takes this chance to finally get back at the chores waiting for him but not before he sends the picture to you. Opening the app and choosing the contact named “my Y/N”, he sends a short message asking how you are and detailing the sweet playtime he had with your daughter along with the picture. After an hour or two, he finally finishes doing the chores– even sweeping the floors and polishing the dining table, as well as bathing the dog. He gets in the shower and freshens up, remembering the tender moment hours ago and finding himself smiling wider each time.
─────────────────────────────────────────────────────
It’s now quarter to 6 and Leon finishes setting up dinner just as the bell rings. He practically skips to the door, his face lighting up with joy when he sees you. He takes your bag and slings it over his shoulder, undoing the strap of your sandals and asking about how your day went. As you step out of them, he takes the heels and places it on the shoe cabinet and puts your bag on the couch. Rory jumps off of the couch, excitedly walking over to you and hugs your legs with the brightest smile you’ve ever seen. She tells you about her and her dad’s day, tiny hand gently holding your wrist as she leads you to the dining table for dinner. You were just about to reach over a piece of food and cut it up into smaller pieces for her when Leon places a hand on yours, telling you that he’ll do it.
“C’mon honey, you were out walking all day. Just sit and have dinner, I’ll do it this time,” he softly says. You don’t argue against him, letting him do the cutting. Rory does all the talking, which you are thankful for since your social battery is nearly drained.
Dinner tasted amazing as usual and now your entire family is in the living room, watching The Little Prince on the TV. What Coco does to Leon, The Little Prince does to you; you’ve never finished the movie without shedding a few tears and laying on Leon’s shoulder for some comfort. Though you both know it’s a movie that has you reduced to tears, you still choose to put it on because not only is it genuinely good, it’s a movie Rory loves. While waiting for the movie to finally load, a question pops up in your mind.
“Sweetie, where’d you get the water for your tea from?” you ask. Leon doesn’t mind, probably guessing that she got it from the water bottle you forgot to bring downstairs in the morning.
“I got it from the fish tank!” she beams. Your smile swiftly drops and your head turns to Leon; you swear you’ve never seen the color drain that fast from his face. The movie finally loads but Leon feels slightly off, the food in his stomach making him feel a little odd. He’s that weak for his little girl; he’s a seasoned agent trained to read people by their mannerisms but his daughter’s devious giggling made it past his normally highly-perceptive gaze.

NOTE - I whipped this fic up right after @agent-dessis-posts asked me if I write dad!Leon and I immediately got that burst of motivation. There was this book called "Make A Wish" that I read around mid-November and the dad matched ID/DI!Leon's description so the whole time I just pictured that version of Leon whilst reading and it was AMAZING (the dad in the book is a single dad to a nine year old which made it even more amazing for me). Anyways, you guys seem to really like my fics which I appreicate a lot so thank you so much!!! I'll post the directory to my blog soon, I'm just making things look cuter :)

This was based on a dream I mentioned a bit ago with some other bits added.
Please enjoy!
Tumblr media
Something tugged at the back of Leon’s mind, a whisper in his thoughts that would not be silenced. His handgun gripped tightly in his hand, his breathing calm and collected. A steady breath in, and steady breath out. Beside him, a young woman stood in her early twenties. Still a child in his eyes. His child.
A part of Leon hated how this had come to be. His daughter standing as his partner in the D.S.O. He never wanted her to have a life like he did, he wanted her to branch off to explore something else, another passion. Something safe. But, much to his dismay, she trained and rose the ranks as he did. Many people often said how proud he must be of her. And he was, every little accomplishment of hers, he valued, he celebrated. Every failure, he was there to offer comfort.
He could not have asked for a finer daughter than his precious [Name].
She stayed by his side, waiting for his order. The team they had supposed to meet were slaughtered by an unknown B.O.W, something powerful. It tore through their men, splattering blood all over the corridors, limbs left behind feet away from their bodies. Fear and horror etched into the faces of dead men. It made Leon’s stomach churn that he had to bring his daughter into this. That one day, it may be her face on the floor, etched with such fear over empty, lifeless eyes.
Leon would ensure that it would never come to that. As long as he still had breath in his lungs and blood in his veins, he would protect her at all costs. Even if it meant putting himself in the firing line. He promised himself that the moment he first held her in his arms, when those eyes looked up at him and he saw such light in them that even the sun itself could be jealous of.
Shaking his head a little, Leon peered through the archway of a door and felt his breath hitch a little. Inside the room were containers secured to the wall ahead of them, filled with vials, each labelled with a serial number and a letter. These were viruses. Each and every one of them.
“Oh my God...” [Name] spoke softly, her eyes wide with disbelief as they both walked inside carefully. Her eyes trying to process just how many vials there were there. “If any of these get into the streets...” Her voice trailed off, the idea of these viruses being released to the public made her shudder. How many would die? Even with every ounce of help, there was not a chance this could be stopped. Looking around, [Name] wasted no time in rushing over to the computer system, looking over the information. Whatever manufacturer this was, there was a chance there must be an way to destroy the samples here.
Her fingers dancing along the keyboard, searching for anything of use before getting ready to destroy the samples, Leon staying close to cover her as she did. This all felt too.... easy. That irritating worry gnawed away more now,
“Okay, I think I got it.” A low whirring hum of machinery was made as a series of mechanical arms began to move, row, by row, the samples were destroyed. [Name] turned to face her father, a warm smile on her lips, a sense of pride in her eyes. Leon’s lips twitched to mirror that smile until he heard something. A clicking sound. It was soft at first, like a clock ticking.
Leon’s eyes widened in horror, realising the source of the ticking. Before he could even get a word out, a booming explosion burst forward, pulsing through the room with a powerful force, sending them flying into opposite directions. Leon crashed into a wall with a painful thud, his head smacking the wall hard and everything went black for a moment.
The sun spilled through the curtains of the hospital room, pouring over one bed and one bed only. Anxiety knotted away at Leon as he slowly approached, the doctor closing the door behind him, giving Leon some space. His wife sat there, a bright yet tired smile on her face, small beads of sweat trickling down her skin but she didn’t care.
In her arms was a bundled blanket, wrapped around the most precious thing he had ever laid eyes upon. Their daughter.
“Isn’t she beautiful?” His wife asked, looking between him and their baby. Leon was speechless. No words could pass his lips as he simply looked at their baby. He sat down beside the bed. In all his life, he never imagined he would be a father. All the horror in his life, all the terrors he has witnessed and overcome, each a trial in its own way. All for this moment here.
“She’s more than that.” He finally spoke, his voice so soft he almost didn’t recognise it himself. Slowly, his wife held the bundle towards him, and he almost refused. Worried that if he touched her, he might hurt her. The mere idea of anything awful befalling her made his chest tighten.
“I won’t let anything happen to you, [Name]. I swear it.” He whispered, pressing his lips on her forehead gently.
Thick smoke and the walls seemed to mix together for him for a moment, making it difficult to determine where he was looking. The back of his head felt slightly damp, with a shaky hand, he reached over and touched it, wincing at the shot of pain that came from the contact. Blood. All sounds around him were distant, far away as if he was underwater. There was something beeping somewhere, a vibrant red-light flashing but was clouded by the smoke. That must have been from the machine.
Turning his head upwards a bit, he blinked the stars from his vision away to see the containment unit of the virus destroyed. Vials scattered about. Some shattered while some remained intact. Before his mind could wander elsewhere, a heavy thudding sound was heard, like footsteps, though they weren’t coming in his direction. They were moving away from him.
Soft, pained sobbing caught his attention, sending a sharp shard of panic through his body, lighting up every fibre of his being. Beyond a fallen piece of machinery, Leon could just see [Name]’s hair, her body seeming to be trapped under a large piece of rubble. Panic surged through his body, gathering what little strength he had left as he tried to push himself up. He had to protect her.
His legs were weak, shaky, but he moved forward. Adrenaline pumping through his veins as he grabbed his gun, his eyes locked on the thing approaching his daughter. The B.O.W. A large, hulking form twice the size of him, dark purple veins covering its entire body as they seemed to glow almost, its body twisted to a point it was almost unrecognisable as one being human.
It tore the rubble off her like nothing, staring down at [Name]’s body as she tried to move back, tried to crawl away from him. The metal shard in her leg kept her in place, blood seeping below her.
“Get the fuck away from my daughter!” Leon shouted, unleashing a flurry of bullets at the bioweapon, rage boiling within him, scorching his veins. The bullets seemed to almost bounce off the bioweapon’s thick skin, as it turned its head away from her and looked at Leon. Still, he held his ground, even as the bioweapon charged at him, raising its arm and striking his side, sending him flying through the air and crashing into the wall. A sharp snap was heard and a searing pain burned his back. His vision spun lightly, his mind processing the pulsing agony in his spine.
“D-Dad!” [Name]’s voice was off to the side somewhere, thick with fear and concern that made his heart twist with discomfort. But he couldn’t move. His legs refused to obey him, his muscles heavy as he laid there, panting shallow breaths. His right hand still twitched, still responded to some degree. A vial, undamaged, rolled off the shelf and towards him. Leon looked at it, he watched the blackened liquid inside it swill and flow lightly, his mind focusing on one thought only. Carefully, his fingers reached out towards it, the tips brushing against the cold casing before he was able to grab it and pull it into his hand properly.
He made a vow that day that he would do anything to protect his daughter. Even if it cost him everything.
[Name] coughed, trying to push herself up again as she winced, looking up towards the bioweapon as it stood in front of her. Its eyes gazing down at her like she was nothing, an ant to be crushed beneath its foot. Tears welled in her eyes and she couldn’t help but tremble as a small, scared sob left her lips. It smiled at her before it took another step towards her but stopped.
A strong force shook the ground below them before something pierced through the bioweapon from behind, latching a powerful grip enough to lift the creature into the air and slam it into the ground, making the floor crackle widely. Among the smoke and flames, [Name] saw something pinning the bioweapon down, a large, thick bladed tail swinging around the creature as it yanked the end from the bioweapon. Savage, twisted snarls left its throat as it slammed the monster into the ground again, a sickening split heard as the skull split open, spilling the contents of its head out onto the floor. But that didn’t stop it. It slammed the head again, and again, and again until there was nothing left but a mess of gore and piece of bones.
Once satisfied with its carnage, the creature tossed the carcass aside before it turned to her. Fear coursed through her as she saw it approach her, yet, it was quickly snuffed out and replaced with a suffocating dread as light finally hit its face. Her eyes widened as more small tears trickled down her cheeks.
“Dad...?” Among the blood on its face, beyond the grotesque mutations that corrupted its body, twisting it to almost beyond recognition, she saw those eyes. The locks of hair that still remained in place, if not damp by blood. A low chitter was heard, mandibles on the sides of its jaws opening up slowly, dripping with saliva as it looked at the girl. The savageness in those eyes shimmered violently and yet there was something else behind it, some flicker of humanity that was fighting to remain present, to not be overcome and consumed by the virus.
“[Na....me]....” The vocals chords shifted, trying to form the word as if it was alien to it. But the eyes gave it away. Carefully, she shifted around to face it- no, her father- more and tried to stand up, ignoring the burning pain in her leg.
“Y-Yeah, it’s me.... dad.” Her hand reached out slowly towards him, a light tremble shaking it as she did despite her best efforts. He looked at her hand before another rumble left his throat, the tail shaking lightly as it came back into view, the end twisted like a scorpion's sting almost. The sight of it dripping in blood and gore made her stomach churn but she pushed it down, keeping her eyes on her father. Slowly, her arms rose up and she wrapped them around his neck, pulling herself against him in a hug.
“I-It’s okay, dad... I-It’s going to be okay.”
In truth, [Name] was not sure if she was trying to convince him or herself.

Note
Just saw this trend on TikTok where kids play a prank on their moms and yell at them to shut up to see what the dads will do.
If Leon and his S/O had a teenage child who pulled this prank what do you think papa Leon would do? (Can do it for boy and girl cause I think he would react differently)
If Leon has a daughter
She was probably allowed more than if Leon had a son. However, to me, regardless of gender, Leon will bring up in his children respect for parents and especially for the mother, as Leon would understand that taking care of their child falls more on her shoulders because he can often be absent at home.
Therefore, hearing such a joke, Leon will still fuck up. He will have a serious conversation with her in raised tones, and he will not approve of such jokes in any case. Although he will calm down if his S/O herself gives her consent to this, just to see his reaction.
So that there will be no more such pranks! You have to respect your mother and such jokes are unacceptable!
He will also tell his S/O not to let their daughter make such jokes, because he is afraid that it may become a habit. I think Leon is serious about such things.
However, his reaction will be much milder than if he had a son.
He will quickly calm down from this whole situation, and his family life will return to its former course.
But promise me you won't do that anymore! You are my only daughter and I love you, but you must understand that I do not like such jokes and behavior. You can't talk about your parents like that, even if you're not serious.
If Leon has a son
Regardless of who his son or daughter is, Leon will try to be fair to both, but he treats his son more seriously than if he had a daughter. And his son would definitely have to answer for some mistakes that Leon could forgive his daughter.
Hearing such a prank in a couple of seconds a wave of anger would rise inside Leon, he would immediately jump up from his seat.
What did you just say?! Apologize to your mother now!
Only his S/O can calm Leon down by saying that it's just a prank and they played it together with their son.
In short, Leon will make it clear that such pranks with him are not acceptable. And the older his son is, the more seriously he will treat him. I think he would have given him some kind of lenient punishment because there are things for Leon that are unacceptable and such as telling mother to "shut up" is one of them.
He will also hold an explanatory conversation with a gloomy expression on his face to make sure that this will not happen again.

Leon :
- this was Leon’s favorite time of year. He loved everything Halloween. So he volunteered to take your kids trick or treating. So you could have some time to yourself. He picked out matching costumes from him and his girls.
- He got them bluey and bingo, he went as bandit. He wanted to make Halloween special for them. While they were young, he hoped to be a cool dad. Which you always tell him that he is.
- he didn’t keep them out so late, but between the both of them. They both had full buckets of candy. You were impressed.
- If there’s a scary decoration, he would avoid that house or he would carry them. They were still young enough to be scared of some stuff, but it wasn’t a problem for Leon. He would do anything to protect his girls.
- he always made sure the girls minded their manners. He’s knew they would get tired, so he brought a wagon so he pull them around in. He had a throw blanket, so they could cover up if they got cold.
///
The girls came running in and found you in the tv room. You were curled up with a fuzzy blanket, a good book and a glass of wine. While wearing Leon’s oversized shirt.
“Did you have fun with dad?” You asked excitedly while they climbed to sit with you on the couch. They shook their heads yes and proceeded to tell you everything that happened.
A few minutes later, Leon came in with their buckets and candy. He walked toward the couch and leaned down the kiss you on the forehead. You giggled at him because he was still in his costume.
"What's got you laughing?" He asked, a puzzled expression dancing across his face. Your laughter only intensified at his genuine bewilderment, "It's just that you're still decked out in your costume." His eyes followed your gaze downward, and a surge of understanding struck him. Hastily unzipping the outfit, he discarded it, leaving him clad in his usual ensemble of shirt and sweats.
“Want them check their candy with me?” He asked while pulling you up with him. He kissed your forehead and placed his head against yours.
“Let’s put them bed first.” You told him. He picked them both up and all of you walked upstairs to get them ready for bed. After getting them to fall asleep, you and Leon decided to check their candy. You didn’t believe you would find anything wrong. You had thought Leon just wanted his dad tax.
\\
Albert Wesker
- he preferably didn’t like accepting candy from strangers. But for the sake of his daughter he would do it.
- he never got to experience trick or treating when he was younger. But he knew he wanted to take his daughter trick or treating. He didn’t think he would enjoy going, but he actually liked going. He thought it would be more crowded, but it truly wasn’t.
- He parked his car, and the three of you walked around. You had to find a neighborhood since you lived in the middle of nowhere.
- For the most part of trick or treating, he carried her on his shoulders. Just because she was tired of walking. Or she held his hand, and skipped alongside him.
- You and your daughter had corresponding outfits on. You couldn’t get Albert dress up, which was fine. You knew he wouldn’t do it anyway.
- Albert wanted to stay out til the end of trick or treating, just because the three of you were having fun.
///
“Do we have to walk back through there?” Your daughter asked as she reached up for Albert to pick her up.
"Regrettably, we do," he grumbled, casting a weary glance in your direction. Raccoon City annually transforms into a captivating realm of enchantment with its renowned "haunted corn maze." This year, the organizers boldly decided to establish it right at the heart of town, rendering navigation through the area a difficult task. Your home was nestled amidst the serenity of the countryside, which means you had to drive in search of trick-or-treating locations.
“Don't worry, darling, everything will be alright. Your dad and I are right here with you,” you soothingly reassured your little one. Her eyes lit up with a glimmer of relief as she snuggled her face comfortably into her father's warm embrace. You were acutely aware that the maze had surprises waiting to pop out and startle everyone. That's precisely why you wanted to navigate through it swiftly, hoping to save Albert from losing his cool at the unexpected scares.
As Albert carefully cradled your daughter in his arms, you valiantly lugged her hefty candy bucket. Sweat beaded on your brow as you tried to keep pace with Albert, who grumbled under his breath about the nonsensical maze constructed by the "fools of this town" and their frivolous use of funds. You recognized that he was biting his tongue, doing his best not to frighten your little girl with his true thoughts.
“C’mon dearheart, we must hurry. We’re also there.” Albert called to you, he wasn’t so far ahead of you. You answered him and jogged a bit quicker.
You saw the parking ahead and thought you had made it through, without anyone jumping out of you. You checked your watch real quick, to keep an eye on time, only to discover it was bedtime soon. Relief began to wash over you, and you were planning the rest of your evening with Albert, until the shrill cry broke you out of your daydream.
The relief was replaced with dread as you hurried to your family. You were really running to your husband’s aid, so he didn’t blow a gasket.
You made it over there, and your husband was trying to diffuse your daughter’s crying. After promptly telling the scare actor to leave. You sat the bucket down and reached from your daughter, trying to soothe her.
He grabbed her bucket, and the both of you hurried to the car. Hoping to enjoy the rest of the Halloween night.

"Not that, either."
Leon cursing in front his daughter, what happens?
ᡣ𐭩Aeon baby in mindᡣ𐭩
●・○・●・○・●●・○・●・○・●●・○・●
Ada always warned him. Warning him to stop cursing around their daughter. That one day when she starts to learn how to talk, would pick it up from him. But... He didn't listen.
...
Leon is preparing food for his daughter, she watches intensely, kneeling in a chair to make herself taller across from him. This whole time, she's been telling him stories that make absolutely no sense. Mixing words together with the ones she knows how to say. He does what anyone does: a collection of nods and occasionally saying "Oh really?"
He went to go pick up a bowl that's filled with soup when it slipped from his hands and splattered all over the floor.
"Fuck!" Leon screams out his frustration. He groaned and got some paper towels from behind him on the counter. He realizes he did it again, cursed in front of the little girl.
"Shit- I'm sorry honey. No soup today." He begins to wipe up the soup from the floor.
The little girl points at the mess on the floor and mimics what he said a few moments ago. "Fuck!" she makes an angry face then smiles brightly.
He looks up at her, "Hey! Don't say that again. That's only for daddy to say."
"Shit?" She says back. Tilting her head to the side.
"Not that, either." He sighs.
