Can I give another massive sorry to the Owl House crew and Dana here?
Looking at the first 6 minutes of season three and I can tell they wanted to make a whole episode of Hunter discovering that book and cutting his hair. They wanted to have an episode of Luz finding out a way to come out to her mom about being bi and dating Amity. They wanted to have an episode of Vee finally figuring out how they want to look like since the can't look like Luz anymore. They wanted to have an episode of the witch kids making up human disguises and seeing what the human world has to offer. They wanted to have an episode that shows the kids working on the door and failing time and time again to get it to work. They wanted to have an episode where all the kids, yes even Luz, struggling to adapt being in the human world. They wanted to have an episode of the witch kids discovering human things for the first time, like rain, and falling in love with Luz's world.
They wanted to, but they couldn't.
Disney said the show didn't "fit their brand" and now all these moments we would've had episodes for are forced to be in a 2-3 minute long montage. And while I'm happy we get to see these moments at all, a part of me is very bitter knowing what Disney did to Dana and her crew.
I hope they know that I appreciate all that they could do with what limited time they had.
I hope they know I want to kill Disney with my bare hands knowing how they cut this amazing shows lifetime short.

okay quick warning, but SPOILERS for The Owl House Finale! scroll past if u haven't seen!
Cool. So I saw another post v similar to this, but I agree and really wanan add to this statement:
Thank god the owl house did not do these things:
Main cast stop talking for ages trope
Got rid of magic trope
Main character losing all their powers trope
Magic world combines with Normal world trope
Bad person gets redeemed because everyone can be good trope
Kill characters just for the sake of death
Now, did the show HEAVILY tease every single one of these? absolutely. And I adore the show even more for it.
The whole "i can't wait to see everyone again," followed up with "Luz, it's been a week." HGFJVG very funny
Raine being teased to die constantly but being too cool for that shit? yes thank you i woulda hated if you died
The whole losing the original glyphs because the titan finally died, concerning but sure ig, but when King was revealed to have his OWN glyphs language?? YOOO, not only is that a nice thing to bond over, but it means Luz can keep on learning new magic while going to wildmagic school!
Everyone was still able to use their own magic! With them in the archives and being unable to use their magic, i was SO worried it was gone. But then it was immediately like "no bitch you're just stupidly exhausted"
AND BELOS' DEATH SCENE. Not giving into his manipulation anymore and just letting it happen was SO satisfying! Not only that, but the parallel to Eda accepting the curse as part of her and not letting it control her, VS Belos who tried using a curse as an excuse to be a bad person etc. Love that.
AAAAAAAAAA I could go on forever honestly. But all in all, great ending and I litteraly have 0 complaints. With the 3 episodes having to summarise a whole seasons worth of content, it was done beautifully. Thank you Dana and the whole crew for this amazing show <3

I started watching The Owl House when I was fifteen. I didn't relate with Luz at the beginning, other than with her nerdy interests and ADHD. But then I grew to love her more and more as the show went on. I think I realized how much I had grown to care about her while watching the episode about Luz grieving her dad (coincidentally on my birthday). And now we're literally turning eighteen just a day apart. I feel like I grew up with her. The Owl House has changed my life in so many ways, and I don't think I'll find a show like it again. Thank you so so much Dana and the crew for making such an amazing show, and I can't wait to see what you create in the future.

Thoughts During TOH 3x03 Watching and Dreaming
Here we go. The finale. This is it.
I’m going to be honest, I didn’t record my reactions to the first half of this so some general thoughts before I continue.
So, seeing kind of King, Luz, and Eda’s worst fears be reaffirmed by the dreams was the worst, but we also got out of the actual dreams a lot quicker than I expected. It’s fine, I understand.
Raine needs to rest after all this.
We’re actually teaching the Collector about actual friendship and kindness and the permanence of death, huh.
The fact that Luz actually reassured the Collector that what they did wasn’t wrong when they tried to apply their lessons of forgiveness and kindness to Belos but it’s just the issue itself is so much more complicated than that. That kind of approach isn’t going to work on someone like Belos. I just really appreciate her letting them know that they didn’t do anything wrong.
And finally, before I continue, Luz’s “death” got me to cry. Especially when it showed Camilla crying even as a puppet like she knew! Ugh. Pain!
Okay, back to the live reacting.

Okay so, two things. The voice acting for the Collector right now? Amazing. He sounds like such a scared kid. Love it. Second, Luz’s Titan Witch design? Gorgeous! 10/10.
OH MY GOD! My baby is casting spells with spell circles and Eda is supporting her and the animation got real smooth and I’m getting emotional again!

I haven’t mentioned it yet but this version of the theme is killing me! Oh my god!
The overview of the Titan! Like back in episode 2! A callback to the scene that made me realize I was going to love this show! How dare! Crying in the club a lot tonight!

!!TOH FINALE SPOILERS!!
A small one, but still go and watch it it's soo good

Honestly, I think the finale was great. Amazing animation, voice acting was fantastic, ending was sooo cute, Kings dad is the best "boi", all characters have those gorgeous expression. Even fact it was a little bit to rushed, because tfu-tfu- Disney's politics and I won't forgive them this mistake, doesn't bothered me at all and whole story was entertaining, engrossing and smooth. My only two issues were lack of personal/deeper backstory of Philip and Collector's arch ending.
While in the first one there is nothing to do about it, just not enough time for the flashbacks. Even with King's dad possibility of using cubes to show it, just animators and Dana couldn't put it in 55 minutes of very condensed episod with a lot of archs to finish.
The Collector's arch could work out well, if it was a possibility of adding one maybe two sentences. Whole issue in their arch is that they go back to the stars(supposing to the Archivists) and them being "alone" again(my opinion). What they was learning during this episode was how to be kind and forgive others. And I didn't noticed anybody in entire show who could be reason for Collector's not-forgiving trait/did something to Collector and they feel angry with so badly they can't forgive them besides their siblings, who betrayed Collector in the past. So probably this part of their lesson was inclined to their relationship with own kind. We saw Collector being scared, mad and sad with the Archivists actions and lies, but only this. It doesn't give any information about their relationship, only about one very specific situation. If in Collector's short retrospection about their past was sentence like: "I loved my siblings, they always played with me games I chose and cared about me, but they lied to me and used me(rest of their story) " whole ending would make sense. They learnt with Luz, King and Eda about forgiving others, even when they did something horrible. It would make Collector rethinks their relationship with the Archivists and chooses to try work things out with them - going back to the stars. And when Collector would be with their family, they could learn them about mortality(maybe all collectors don't understand idea of dying and that's why they just do collecting in such a nasty way and uses force when sb doesn't obey them - how could they know they can't regain someone's personality(a lofe of the brain) after the death, if they didn't experience it or can recreate, but only in own specie) and kindness. It all would make sense and erase both loneliness issue and going back to the stars issue. Honestly I wanted sth like this as the Collector's arch end, but yeah just one more sentence and it would be perfect for me.
This comment is not meant to blame Dana, animators, storyboarders or anybody from The Owl House crew that they did something wrong. As I said before not their fault, that Disney "stabbed them in the backs" and forces them to condense such a great and complex story in such a small amount of time. I just feel a little bit dissatisfied with this two arch and this is my idea to make them satisfying, if I had anything to say. But I don't.
I'm glad with what I've got and really appreciate impact of the owl house on media and me💛

If we don’t have enough time in the last episode to see the wedding Dana told us was happening a good while ago, then i hope us fans can draw one out for ourselves (what I assume was a Raeda wedding) I know that she said it would happen but none of us knew Disney Channel would cancel the show so soon so that might’ve changed to save time for other more important things
Anyways, I can’t wait for the series finale 😭 I’m not ready for this to be over but I’m happy to have shared this wild ride together with so many people. This show changed me in so many ways, all for the better. I’ll miss it dearly, but when i get sad about that I’ll just watch it all again!
Thank you to Dana and the crew for making this show so amazing and sharing it with us. We will remember it forever. 💜

Damn what an episode!! It’s everything I wanted, all of them enjoying the human realm but still cutting to the chase with Belos AND they’re already back in the demon realm. Love it.
I wish there was more but Dana and the crew did amazing with what time they had. They could’ve done some incredible things with a whole season I bet, but this is the next best thing, they nailed it.
Can’t wait to see what’s next.
One thing I got in my mind is how scared I am. The Owl House and Amphibia went hand in hand for a long while. Apmhibia was my favorite of the two and has grown to be my absolyte favorite show of all time, I still love the owl house but it can’t live up to Amphibia for me.
The ending is what scares me. With Amphibia it took literally two whole months for me to get over the finale. Even today if I hear the end theme my eyes tear up. Every. Single. Time.
I don’t want to go throught that again. Obiously I’m being dramatic but with Amphibia I cried at least once a day for the two months, that’s not a lie and it wasn’t fun. For I hope that the Owl House get the ending that it absolutely fucking deserves, I’m terrified of it.

It amazes me that Dana and her crew gave a bang-up season despite the deal they got. Everything from the animation, music, story, voice actors, and again the animation was remarkable!
It's a shame that Disney Channel won't do a serialized narrative some time soon, but I believe the next shows to come will draw into inspirations from the show to create something new and spectacular for audiences alike.
As a whole, The Owl House would have been the perfect show for me when I was younger. Being the weird kid wasn't easy, and having Luz as the main character going through her self-doubt and getting the chance to live her fantasy, leading to her being better as a person and never letting go of her personality that makes her unique...by God, I feel seen by her. Yes, Luz is my favorite character.
I want to thank all my friends for being the best support while I scream my head off with each new episode along with sharing your thoughts on what will happen next. I also want to share my biggest appreciation for Dana and her team for creating an outstanding show that will be talked about for many years. This is one for the books, and I'm glad to exist in the same world with this show.

....sooooo...all of season 3 episode 2 of the owl house got leaked...
Long story short...it's the best thing ever and the only thing keeping me from feeling Too bad is that the video I watched got 4.4k views in an hour and Dana openly pirates her own show.
I Would say I'll do the same thing I did for Bee and Puppycat s2, very make sure i watch the official release, BUT. Fuck Disney.
I'm not gonna post any spoilers(might rb some tho 👀), but watching that Amazing leaked episode made me even more insane about how...there's only one more episode. There is only one more episode and the only hope for anything more is Disney scrambling to get a spinoff because they know it gets them views.
Everything about this ep was amazing. I had to kept pausing because i was freaking out. by the 8 min mark i was already paused for a collective of 5-10 minutes to just whisper shout about everything going down.
once again, this one special could have been So Many episodes. the end credits show that. we would get more wittebanes we would get more collector we would get more Everything. but...but we live in the timeline where this show is going to go down in history as a big ol sign that says "Disney is Bigoted"
but it will also go down in history as something that, hopefully, goes down to change things for the better. more future queer, nerodivergent, poc, and disabled stories told with such care and Understanding as their predecessors...companies are hard to change. any of them, all of them, and i hope with this massive ball dropped, not on the owl house crew end, they're giving it their all and it shines, but on the disney company end.
I can say disney has made me cry with its storytelling, but more specifically, i can say that the owl house made me cry with its characters.
and i sincerly hope the world we live in sees this and starts changing as to not lose great things like this again...but seeing how steven universe was also cancelled...with this following...i don't know how fast that's gonna be...

The owl house being cut down is a massive shame for many many MANY reasons, and although I know Dana and the crew are adamant that what we will get is gonna be awesome and I fully believe that, there are just. a couple tiny bits that I'm sure other people have also noticed that have unfortunately just seemed to be glossed over like
-the whole thing with Raine keeping Eda out of the loop? They could have had a whole episode where they're trying desperately not to drag her into it, and go through just how they ended up resolving that and what Eda had to do/say/whatever to get them to realise she needed to be in on this (maybe Raine thought she was just too vulnerable without her magic, and this could have led into them seeing her harpy form for the first time) but they simply. did not. It presumably happened entirely off screen, just like the Darius and Hunter reunion, and both of those are just such a big shame
-Hunter seemingly randomly deciding to show his face more often (likely due to the guards in Latissa not recognising him out of uniform). If they made an episode out of that palismen observation clip, a fun little filler episode (which can seriously help to flesh out things!!) where hunter is interacting with the coven heads and flapjack and what his regular life can be like, they could have maybe made a few comments about how he started wearing his mask less often and people's reactions to that. The way it's played out in the series kind of feels like it's missing something, at least to me (even if the explanation is just that he never actually wore his mask that much around the palace and the Latissa scouts didn't recognise him simply because they're not stationed there)
-Lilith's owlbeast. We had some good episodes exploring her dealing with the curse, but now it kinda seems like it's been ignored? Tbf she left to go back home and wasn't in a good chunk of episodes, so it makes sense, but I'll be a bit disappointed if we just don't see her owlbeast again, whether in full beast form or as a harpy
-is belos actually CURSED or. what? ngl I'm slightly lost on what's going on there besides the fact that it seems self-inflicted in an attempt at more power
idk these are the big ones that have been bugging me, and doesn't feel like they're going to ever be addressed. Obviously I've got faith in the creators and I'm sure season 3 is going to be amazing, and it won't be ruined if these things just aren't addressed

MAJOR SPOILERS FOR OWL HOUSE S3E1, THANKS TO THEM
I really just want to say what’s on mind right now and hope it isn’t too incoherent.
So, like most I just got finished watching the first special and dear god did I love it! Pretty much everything about it was amazing and didn’t feel rushed or contrived at all. A great start for what is unfortunately the end. Well almost great. Like any usual fan, I turned to social media after my viewing to see what others thought and I noticed that a few were pointing out something troubling about the special, the way Belos was reintroduced to the kids. Here’s where the spoilers start.
To sum things up, Belos makes his big reappearance towards the end of the episode in the form of possessing Hunter and eventually crushing Flapjack out of spite. Not only does this lead to a really heartbreaking scene but also brings up some not-so-great implications that others have pointed out. For a good chunk of this episode, we get to see Hunter slowly heal from his trauma from the Emperor’s coven, from Belos, and starting to be okay with who he is as a person. But it’s safe to say that healing process gets upended when the cause of that trauma takes control of him again, though now in a more literal sense, and kills the first friend he ever had.
That’s painful, it’s harmful, it takes a character who has already been through a lot and seemed to finally be given the chance to move on from it at his own pace but then gets that taken away from him too because we all know that Hunter may never look at himself the same way again. He might now never get to the point where he can’t trust himself and in turn pull away from those he did trust due to the fear of hurting them too. Other fans have pointed out the real-life implications this final scene has which isn’t great either.
But notice how I’ve been bringing up other fans so far. It’s because while I do hope I’m at least somewhat aware and observant of this world we call home, I know for fact that I am not qualified to speak in depth on the facets of abusive relationships and the pitfalls of bring the abuser back into the abused life. I’m just a person who likes to geek over writing and storytelling and uses it to take a break from my real life.
And it’s because of that interest with writing that I don’t necessarily fault Dana and the crew for those implications. Writing is hard, even more complicated when the story you’re tell resonates with thousands of people. You’re bound to make mistakes and having all those eyes on you is only going to highlight those mistakes. It’s a tough position to be in especially since I’m pretty sure it wasn’t done on purpose or with malicious intent.
All we as viewers can do now is say “hey doing that makes it like this” and hope this is taken into account for any future projects. Though I’m not saying this to invalidate the feelings of anyone who is upset by what Hunter had to go through again or those who this situation hits too close to home with. You have the right to take issue with this and speak out so others know why this isn’t alright.
Okay so what am I saying? Well, this is where that interest in storytelling comes back into play. Like I say, I loved the episode but it’s those last 10-15 minutes that the issue makes itself known, so if that’s the case why not just tweak them, given them the old reworking. I guess what I’m saying is that I have a few ideas, two in particular, for the climax of the episode that don’t lead to rehashing abusive relationships while still keeping the same plot beats (mostly....partially).
The first one doesn’t hold much water now but it could still be an interesting idea if given more time to developed and if I wasn’t so tired. Basically, Belos doesn’t possess Hunter but instead continues to leach onto dead animals like he is seen to do throughout the episode until he is finally able to solidify into his monstrous form. Like maybe while Luz is at the vet’s office, she overhears a conversation about the increase of dead animals and reports of how they looked odd. Then when she gets back and she and Hunter try to find Belos, that rat jumps out like in cannon but now they notice something off Hunter notices something off and can’t brush it off.
This all culminates into a full gang chase/fight throughout the forest and graveyard as Belos shifts between different undead creatures as he tries to reach the Titan’s Blood first. Like I said, this idea could use some work but I know it would end with Hunter taking a stand in front of the others saying how he’s tried of the fear Belos causes in him and how he just wants to be himself before blasting the old dude out of the whatever animal he’s in (I’m thinking bear) but is a little to slow to stop him from retreating to the portal.
Now for the second idea, which I would like to say now that I’m unsure if this is just as problematic, but I couldn’t help but think since well...it just made sense. So again, Belos does not possess Hunter, but his endgame isn’t animals either. No instead he has his set on something, no someone more likely to give him the strength he needs. And that someone is Luz.
Throughout this episode we see Luz on this downward spiral of depression and guilt due to feeling like all she does is ruin the lives of those she loves and doesn’t deserve anything but their anger. And the parallels between her and Belos have been hammered home significantly so far. So, who’s to say that it’s completely out the realm of possibility that Luz is the one Belos latches onto in the cabin and Luz slowly falls further into his control due to her own guilt and her mind painting her as being just as bad as Belos.
Belos is eventually expelled from Luz through the combined efforts of Luz’s friends/family reminding her of all the good she has done while fight off Belos’ attempts to destroy them. The final blow is again dealt by Hunter but this time it’s more from the angle of him promising that he will never let Belos take away anything from him again before throwing the vile in the water and diving in after possessed Luz to help her out. Again, a lot more can be done with this but I’m tired and might use this as a fic so yeah.
Also notice how in both of these ideas, Flapjack doesn’t die. I know that it is very much plot relevant and will probably lead to Hunter now being able to use spell circles or at least teleport on his own (theory for another day) but did they really have to do it to him. Like if it is really that necessary save Flapjack’s death for the last special or the final battle. Just anytime where Hunter is not getting repeatedly punch in the gut with trauma.
Alright that’s all I got, sorry if this was a waste of time, please don’t fault the creators too much, and get some sleep. We could all use it.

I can't just choose one, so I'm going to choose one of my favorite season 1 funny lines and favorite serious lines.

Fave Serious: "You gotta be your own witch." Eda from "Covention"
16) Favorite raeda moment (if you ship it)?
If I have to choose just one, then hands down the scene where they perform Eda's Requiem. It's such a romantic yet heartbreaking moment to see them be reunited only to be separate again so soon. And I just love hearing them play music together!
25) Favorite season finale?
I want to say Watching and Dreaming because it was such an epic ending to this amazing series (for the amount of episodes/time Dana and the crew had to end the series).
The owl fam (especially Titan Luz) defeating Belos together was Amazing!!!
But I could still be on a finale high and could change my mind again. LOL!

So, I’ve just come up with an idea for The Owl House Fandom 🧙♀️🦉🔮🌟…..
So with the premiere of the 1st part of season 3 of The Owl House quickly approaching (airing way late in my time where I’m from - on a Sunday no less) I figured I propose a suggestion to the fandom… By giving thanks to Dana and the crew for all their hard work, especially on this season!
And while I’m not sure if anybody else has or is going to use this idea before me (I mean it was worth the shot! I feel like just about any fandom would do that), I was thinking about doing some sort of massive fandom big bang; making and creating fanart, animations/animatics, AMV’s/edits etc You name it!
The idea came to mind after lurking around in the Amphibia fandom (I like to check into the fandom every once in a while) then I remembered that since Amphibia ended months ago, the fandom would joke around making tweets about season 4 happening and creating fake promos and fan made episode animations/animatics/storyboards for like a couple of weeks (even creator Matt Braly liked some of the stuff he saw from fans and had to check in with the fandom about it - You had to be there!)
I like to think of this as a tribute to Dana and her crew for giving us the most of season 3 has to offer, and while we’re concerned of how the final season would play out as a 3 part near hour long special, I trust Dana and her team would be able to fill in everything that’s needed, flaws and all.
As a fandom, I think we can all come to an agreement that since Disney decided to be a bunch of assholes for cutting the rest of season 3 and cancelling the show entirely for not “fitting into their brand” (whatever the hell that’s supposed to mean?!) that they’re now officially on - what I like to call - “Massive Corporate Entertainment Company Hit List for Screwing Animation Fans Over” officially considering Disney public enemy No. 1 (but now that spot seems to go over to Warner Brothers/Discovery, after certain recent events - also don’t ask me on the title, I just randomly made that on the fly so it was the first thing that popped into my head - sorry if that sounds cringe 😬)
Which is why I think starting around the day of the premiere for season 3, let’s get the show trending on social media to show tremendous support for the owl crew, cuz lord knows they deserve the love for creating an amazing show after everything they’ve went through with Disney’s higher ups shady ass-hattery that goes on there, the best we can do is support Dana and the team for the hard work, appreciate and make the most of what we have for the final season!
There’s probably a few bits and bobs I felt that are missing (or just the whole idea of some fandom big bang is already somewhat a common thing here and in other fandom spaces IDK) but feel free to share some ideas here! I’d love to see some ideas to shared around this fandom!
Personally, I love seeing fanart, but you know what I wanna see more of? Fan made “episode” animations/animatics/storyboards of season 3, y’know since Disney thought that cutting season 3 was necessary, why not make make some fan made “episodes” to fill in the gaps that would’ve been a full season (especially once the first part is aired and from what I’ve heard we go into a 3 month hiatus until the next part, which oof, I thought the Steven Universe fandom has a rough hiatus, but this 😳) - whether it’s from fan made theories, headcanons or just something that’s canon adjacent - I think it would’ve been really fun and would really mend the hole in the fandom’s heart once the show’s over (honestly I kinda miss the chaotic energy from the fandom when Amphibia ended and I really wanted to have fun with The Owl House, all in good fun!).
I hope this idea sticks to the fandom because I would love for this post to boost up and garner everyone’s interest! Again, if you like this, feel free to share your ideas here!
Also of course, please support the show through legal means through Disney +, or more likely, just pirate the show and give Dana the crew some support and kind messages! Also, don’t share any spoilers/leaks and PLEASE tag them once they’re aired, especially to those that are not in the US!

This episode is proof that just because something was fairly predictable, it doesn't mean it'll be bad. It means the story did its job. Execution is what matters and boy was this intense
I was worried how much time we'd spend in setting up this crazy situation but it literally starts with it lmao nice

Gotta say however I'm surprised they didn't just show that the 3 hooded figures were Darius, Raine and Eberwolf. Like, it's pretty obvious ahaha I expected them to just show their faces at the very end but oh well
Imagine if they'd actually gone inside his mind with no interruptions tho, would they have gathered information or also attempt to destroy something?
I hope we manage to fix Luz's cape btw
the use of cute bunny walkie talkies to keep a connection to them was fun, I was wondering how they were gonna get out
interesting contrast between people gasping like "don't let the titan hear you" vs in the past when they were like "wdym he talks to the titan, the titan is dead?"
and she cares so much about how people treat Eda. I love her
wise words from King, and as soon as I heard them I was like ah I know a certain blonde kid who matches that description

knowing what we know, Darius was close to the previous GG, and called him his mentor and a powerful witch. since we were told all the grimwalkers look the same, while not identical, I assume Darius knows what Hunter is and is horrified at Belos

I had a hunch the brother was much more like Luz (and the Hunter we know now), someone curious and caring who loves magic, who wants to learn about it and isn't ok with hurting people. Someone who trusts maybe a little too much, but someone who will eventually decide to fight against his own family for what's right

OBSESSED with Belos characterization. he has this fake, cold hallway with epic paintings of his "success" even inside his own fucking mind. he has this little kid guide them around to lure them into a trap, to toy with them and to scare and confuse them, and to help himself get rid of a problem
I love how they introduce the possibility that there is some guilt, some regret, some innocence? within him? only to say no, Belos is just a frighteningly good manipulator. always has been

Belos has always treated the Golden Guards like dirt, seems like he's so bitter towards the original yet he keeps creating more. the fact the brother was older and now the guards are always younger and younger as he keeps aging, always working under him...
this expression perfectly encapsulates my feelings for that whole scene as well

Ok, next week we get King focus and I feel it'll be a big one as well! from the promos there aren't a lot of shots left that could be from that one but there is this one I assume will be from it
seems like Luz and Hooty will be accompanying King but not Eda
So I am wondering where will Hunter go? I think there's a chance we don't find out til later, he could be by himself with Flapjack, or Darius could've seen him run out and went after him. But I would be totally down for a B plot of Eda looking for him. It's not super likely but she did seem concerned so I thought I'd mention it! see ya next week
