Recent Commission Works

Just a handful of recent commissions & projects, ranging from the start of this year to around the end of March.

For Terramundi_:

This is a Fire Emblem styled animation I was commissioned for. Definitely one of the most time consuming, difficult, and tremendously rewarding projects I've worked on recently. It took about 14 hours, a lot of studying the GBA Fire Emblem games, and some realizations that I tremendously underestimate how much work goes into some of the stuff I make

For exy_slimesder:

This was just a small, simple slime-themed sub alert for this client. Nothing much to say about it other than I ended up scrapping and redoing about four hours of work.

For whokilledkenan:

Again, a simple little alert, this one was a "surprise me" commission so I took a look at who they were, what they did, and decided to make this based on the info I had and the info I was given.

For LilouClary (not a commission!):

This was a project I've been working on, on-and-off since February! I turned a previous client/friend's Minecraft skin into a functional 3D VTuber model, with the side benefit that it also works in-game with the Figura mod. The pipeline for doing this was Blockbench (to make the model, exported as .obj) -> Blender (import the obj, make an armature, bake the textures/materials, do some blendshape stuff, export as .fbx) -> Unity (to use the UnityVRM plugin to go from .fbx to .vrm, it's a vrm0 model due to how I built it)

Apologies for the tremendous gap between posts. I've not really been actively using Tumblr because of how busy my life has gotten. I hope you guys enjoy at least one of the things showcased here.

This only took about 3 hours to do, and I think it was very much worth it to really get a good gauge on how much I've improved.

MINDSHACKLE

This is a piece I made in January 2023 after overcoming some mental health issues. The fettering nature of my day-to-day life was really starting to wear down on me and I made this as sort of a liberating expression of that feeling. Making stuff like this is very much a way for me to aid in my mental health, & don't be afraid to just make stuff like this if you think it'll help you.

Two pieces of Binding of Isaac related art, made as fanart for the streamer Grayfruit. Funnily enough, that first piece seemingly blessed the stream he showed it off on, as he got the Tainted Lost to Mother unlock soon after. The second piece of art was because of how hard Lil’ Dumpy carried.

Stream Avatars Commission!

Did a StreamAvatars commission for BeeweeCrover on Twitch! This was a lot of fun to do over the weekend & I think these turned out amazingly!

24x24 canvases for the design, 32x32 canvases for the animation. The animations are a 2 frame idle and a 2 frame walk cycle. It was my first time animating with two-frame cycles and it was really different from how I normally do stuff- in a good way!

A Collage of the Minecraft Skins I've Made!

Just a small collection of the various Minecraft skins I've made! Most of these were commission work & I think it's some of the best art I've made.

I really like the way that Minecraft skins let me experiment with depth in ways that I'm not as easily capable of doing with other forms of art, it's refreshing when I get one of these commissions because I always try to find a way to do it just a little bit better each time!
