Things look downer than down for some of the Forsaken but some help may be closer than they think. Jaina is welcomed home and happy to be so but finds herself reflecting on Sylvanas’ erratic behaviour.

”Pained?”

”Yes?”

”Why are people so stupid sometimes?”

Pained thought about it for a moment, or possibly she was gauging Jaina’s mood.

”I honestly think it is the feeble noses.”

”The…? What?”

”Beasts can just smell what the issue is about, plain and simple. People need to talk it over all the time and mess it up by not saying what they are truly thinking.”

”Then I can only suggest you sleep on it and send this letter tomorrow at least.”

”You’re probably right. It will have to be tomorrow night then since I wrote good night in the letter. Good night, Pained.”

”Good night. Oh, and Lady Jaina?” Pained turned around by the door and looked somehow more firmly at her.

”Yes?”

”First, no running off anywhere on your own no matter what ships moor outside our harbour, young lady. Secondly, stay in the den, my cub.”

”I promise. For now.”

Gortash escapes the House of Hope

Gortash gets involved with black market arms dealing

Durge begins their serial killing spree in Baldur’s Gate

The Emperor dominates Duke Stelmane

1480s

Gortash establishes a cult of Bane in Baldur’s Gate

Gortash approaches Durge about an alliance

Hall of Wonders test mission - Durge gets Bhaalist memorabilia - Gortash gets a bunch of Gondian designs - Durge & Gortash get companionship

Gortash trades Karlach to Zariel for infernal machinery & iron

Baldur’s Gate’s Beloved Ranger statue goes missing

Gortash recruits Franc Peartree to distribute infernal iron weapons

Gortash moves against the Zhentarim & Knights of the Shield

Raid on the illithid colony - Durge puts the Crown on the Elder Brain - Orin gets Durge alone during the raid & stabs them in the head - Orin tadpoles Durge, making them the first True Soul - Orin leaves Durge in an illithid pod - Orin tells the Chosen she now speaks for the Temple of Bhaal - Orin likely told Gortash, Ketheric, and Balthazar something vague about Durge’s disappearance being related to Durge’s religious crisis and let their imaginations do the rest

A Haunted Hallows Eve, Chapter 3

Sylvanas enacts her genius plan to prank Jaina by offering her literally the night of her dreams. Dreams which Sylvanas has personal first-hand experience with. Azeroth can rest peacefully knowing that their top leadership is busy playing dress-up.

“If you are Lady Moon and Vereesa Little moon, would I be a Sailor Moon now?” Jaina asked while she turned to look at herself from the side.

“Keep up the good work Miss Proudmoore and maybe you will join this family of lunatics sooner than you think.” Sylvanas flashed her a pearly grin.

“Let’s hear a growl!” Jaina suggested.

“What – no.”

“Come on. What kind of frostsaber would you be if you don’t growl? Just a little one?”

“You are so pretty when you’re thinking, do you know that?” The Frostsaber Queen caressed her cheek with a fuzzy gloved paw. “Tell me what devious deviant things that go on in there. I have only caught a glimpse after all.”

But the singing she could un-live without, Sylvanas thought.
