I WILL NOT APOLOGISE . I often get criticised for being amateurish. People are quick to compare my work with well-known big fashion houses and can be very critical. At the end of the day everyone has the right to their opinion and I have no problem with that, having said that I don't feel I need to apologise for what I stand for. The thing is I do not have a team of people who work for me to handle my Instagram account or any of my affairs for that matter. Everything that you see good or bad is done by me. And I don't care if what I present and offer is not perfect, it was never meant to be. I am not here to promote perfection, reality is never perfect so why should I portray my story perfectly. I do not check how my Instagram grid looks before posting pictures, I don't spend countless hours to make them all look the same, I don't seek to showcase beauty in perfection and I certainly do not try to be something that I am not. I feel liberated by not following the herd, it is so much more easier to not be under the pressure to make everything look brilliant and perfect, it's wonderful to be able to make mistakes and learn from them. Why on earth would I apologise for being imperfect, for making mistakes, for being real, for being me, for being happy and most importantly for feeling liberated?! I don't consider myself to be a part of any fraternity or industry so for the love of god stop the comparison. I am not here to prove anything, I don't want to be the one who started a trend or did something first, I just want to tell my story on my own terms and most importantly make a positive difference. I only use this platform to share my world with whoever is willing to be a part of it. It's as simple as that. My world is a small world full of love, beauty , tolerance, style and kindness. Fun Wedding Arrangement!

Hi,

Yes I told y'all I'd be back to post this at least. One of my besties approached me with a task of recreating their favorite movie song into something they could walk the aisle with. Boy was I honored and honoured. There was definitely a lot of procrastination from fear of failure, but once crunch time came, I buckled down and just trusted that the music would come through.

The song, Tuhje Dekha To, is one of the soundtracks of the movie, "Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge" (The Big-Hearted Will Take the Bride). The overall composition process started out with several listens of the original OST. From the start we all agreed that it would need to be slowed down since the original, while a love song, is a fast paced one. It has a very playful cat and mouse texture to the music (not gonna use the call and response buzzword I'll spare y'all).

I knew that the most important ideas I'd take from the original would involve the main chorus and the bridge. The chorus because that is the most recognized and catchy passage in the song. The bridge because I needed something to color the piece a bit. After that I wrote my own spin on an intro to the piece and a variation on the bridge that was original. Those original sections came about during improv. Whatever idea I liked, I'd write down for later. It's a mixture of violins, violas/pseudocellos and a touch of piano. One tool I had in my bag of tricks was the knowledge that pitching down the violin 24 semitones can transform that baby into Yo-Yo Ma's.

I'm and will forever be thankful to my friends for letting me do this.
