I transformed Barbie into @lindsaylohan! 🎀 As a doll collector, I just had to add a doll of my favorite actress to my collection. This doll is inspired by her @cosmopolitan magazine cover, styled by @cassieanderson212. Cassie actually helped me identify the exact shoes Lindsay was wearing! The entire look, designed by @alexandrevaulthier, has been recreated in miniature by @sebasdolls, with the shoes crafted by @the_janchor. I had an absolute blast working on this project, and of course, I couldn't resist creating a miniature version of the magazine too. The repaint was expertly done by @plastsmuk_dolls, and I must say, he nailed Lindsay's likeness! 💖

My new baby is here again with a new face created by my spring inspiration when she was born. Plump lips, a gentle face, a young detailed body with smooth curves, all this makes her an unique and special doll for me, she is my angel and my romanticized Lolita, fragile as a stalk of a wild flower and ringing like morning dew. I adore her. - I needed these six months of silence and an information detox to determine the new vector of my work, to understand where to move on. Sometimes you just need to be silent to hear your inner voice. After the first year away from home, I was mentally and physically exhausted. Kate and I went through a lot, we almost broke up, but our love went through this test of strength, and in the meantime we created new dolls, new looks, new wigs and new dresses, made important decisions and overcome fears. But I, being carried away by creativity and work on numerous orders, do not find time for social communication, I hide in the studio from all over the world like some kind of recluse. - And the longer my solitude lasts, the more difficult it is to come back and just say: "hey, this is my new doll." These are my stupid prejudices, I really want share with you everything that I have done, even if for this I have to shake off the dust from some of my artworks, they have been waiting for this moment for so long. Every time as I'm not selected in a longlist of any art competition is like a little death for me. A circle of thoughts: My work are not good enough - I'm not creative - I make trash - I have to do something otherwise - need to be changed - depressed - death - procrastination. And after some time I rebirth as a phoenix and think: probably I just need to try again, it's my way and I can't give up and I try again and again and again.
