The food that was airdropped by the US to a starving and besieged population in Gaza included Tabasco sauce and peach/apple sauce!!! Much of it was expired and it was not 'halal' (permitted for Muslims to eat)
Instead of airdropping this shitty aid, which is both unsafe and humiliating - open the borders to let aid in, stop sending weapons to Israel and call for an immediate and permanent ceasefire.

STARVING PALESTINIANS REACH FOR AIR DROPPED FOOD AID
📹 Scenes from the Gaza Strip, where starving Palestinian civilians risk their lives to access air-dropped food aid, where the parachute got caught on a building, leaving the aid dangling dangerously over the ground.

Sources in Gaza say humanitarian aid packages air dropped by the US Air Force landed hard and fast, hitting several people, and killing at least 5, including several members of one family.
They are now calling for an investigation into the conduct of the US government and military.

From the River to the Sea: Palestine Will Be Free
I know I'm not as active as I used to be in the past, but I want to use my voice to tell people to stand with Palestine. What is currently happening to them is the denial of human rights and a genocide still going on which is done by Israel. Lives have been lost and people still refuse to open their eyes that this problem, can lead to so many more.
What I am simply asking of you is to boost the voices of the victims, and treat them as humans not a statistic. If you cannot donate money to charities, there are still plenty of ways that we can help them.
Here are some of them:
Boycott companies who support Israel, such as not buying from them (the post included explains why trying to boycott all companies at once is not possible but if we focus on some then there will be more of a significant impact)
Tumblr media
2. Repost anything that will help strengthen the voices of Palestinian people
Tumblr media
3. When sharing news, make sure to check your sources to prevent the spread of misinformation and disinformation, because it will spread fast
Tumblr media
4. DO NOT TREAT THIS AS A TREND, DO NOT BE A PERFORMATIVE ACTIVIST (like clogging up the tag #freepalestine with things not related to the situation), what Palestine needs is ongoing support from people who truly care; not support that will just last for a couple of hours from people who are looking for clout
Tumblr media
5. DO NOT GUILT TRIP PEOPLE INTO SUPPORTING PALESTINE, it will just scare them and cause them to blindly support sources that possibly spread misinformation
Tumblr media
6. You can also reblog/retweet the art made by artists all around the world who show their support for Palestine, as it expresses their sorrow and empathy about the situation
Tumblr media
From our own little ways, what we are doing is strengthening their voices through various means such as the internet, I will also provide a link to websites/organizations where you can help aid Palestine; if you can do it, then go do it.
But I want to end this post the same way I started it:

the thing about the u.s. "aid" bill to send the israeli occupation 14 billion is like. how much fucking money that is compared to who it's hurting. like forget abt whatever that could've done here in the usa for usa citizens. joe biden and the genocidal american government are so happy to casually drop 14 billion, imagine if that amount of money had been dropped to support palestine before the latest bombardment since they clearly can spare it. imagine if that had been fully paid to UNWRA after it began, alongside cutting all spending to israel and divestments. or even HALF of it.
there are over 2 million people in the gaza strip, you could pay every single palestinian about 7,000 dollars apiece for that amount. imagine how much fucking money that is which could be used to help people but is used to murder and starve them instead.

In Malaysia, news programs and their anchors show solidarity by wearing a scarf with keffiyeh pattern.
At the end of every broadcast the anchor will end with,
"Dari sungai hingga ke segara, Palestine pasti merdeka"
...which is vise versa in the English broadcast means "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free."

looking at (vetted) gofundmes for people trying to escape palestine and i don't know how many of you actually click on the gofundme links you reblog but i would like to point out, for what it's worth, just how amazing it is that so many have raised so much money. it may overall feel like a drop in the ocean but the fact that several gofundmes have raised tens of thousands of dollars is amazing. it is so expensive to leave gaza right now, and people still need money after they escape. but regardless of what propaganda the US, UK, canada, and other western nations are trying to pump out, people across the world are doing what they can to help these people survive. many of them are still very far from their goals (like this one and this one and this one) and some of them are very close to high goals (like this one), and some of them have reached almost double their original goal.
and that's not even addressing direct aid or organizations that take continuous donations for distribution of food, menstrual products, etc. the PCRF has raised $16,000,000 of their target goal of $20,000,000 to fund current aid and long-term relief efforts in gaza. ANERA's febuary 13th update discusses the material ways they helped palestinians today:

my point is, it often feels like the world is turning a blind eye to palestine. but i would like to point out that there is an important difference between "the world" and "western political leaders and media narratives". a breathtaking amount of real people, the people who make up the world, are trying to help. in the face of israel attempting to commit genocide, the world is saying No. These people deserve to live. and literally sending millions of dollars internationally, through the internet connection that israel has desperately been trying to destroy.
it may not feel like it matters in the grand scheme of things. but to the people who get fresh clothes, or a hot meal, or blankets, or the kids who get new toys, or to the people who are able to bring their families to safety, it matters to them. go make someone's day better. i've linked so many options with ways to do that.
