Photographer Eshak Daour documents efforts by volunteers to lift the spirits of children. They dressed up, sang songs, and put on a fun interactive show for the kids in the gymnasium of a school sheltering displaced people
I’m trying to get some more eyes on this campaign as the donations are still low (€600)🕊️
This is baby Mila, her mother Mai and father Akram. They have lived in poverty for years and finally saved their money for a new apartment for their daughter to grow up in, they lived there *two* days before it was bombed and completely destroyed 🤍
They are now displaced and trying to evacuate out of Rafah. if you can share or donate, anything would be greatly appreciated 🙏🏼🙏🏼 she is @mayoshakhalel on ig, even interacting with her page on there is helpful!!
Mai and I connected through ig and it’s been weeks now and not a lot of interaction w her campaign. I really want to lift her spirits and help get her and her family to safety. They deserve so much better than this.
Today, April 27th, marks 30 years since the official end of South African apartheid and the first democratic election ever held in the republic. Like Nelson Mandela said, our freedom is still incomplete without the freedom of Palestine. Just as the South African apartheid regime was crushed, so shall Israel.
Journalist Emad Ghaboun, resident of north Gaza exposes the expired aid being dropped as aid by American forces. The video shows candy meant for children with a best-before date of February 2024, being dropped in late April. This revelation raises concerns about the quality and safety of humanitarian aid being provided to the people of Gaza.
Please help @/haneenatya. Their posts hardly get circulated except for their pinned one. Their gfm is vetted by a Palestinian blogger here. If one or two reblogs from you would get them to a larger audience. It might help.
Thank you. A new post will be published soon. In the mean time, here is the link:
My account isn’t the largest but this is a legit clicking website that you can click daily on different devices to donate to Palestine and other causes. Very important and completely free, I can do it even though I have no way of making online payments.
My name is HAMDI AHMED, and I'm a disabled Palestine queer. Tragically, my family's evacuation plans from Gaza were thwarted by the loss of my father, our breadwinner, during the genocide. Recently, my mother fell victim to an airstrike in Deir Al-Balah, leaving me without a home. With no income and relying on the kindness of friends, I urgently need to evacuate to Egypt for safety. Any donation, no matter how small, would make a world of difference. Thank you for your support.
I would stop responding to these, but the sheer amount of people determining they’re not a scam is wild.
As far as I’ve seen, anyone asking for help through asks is a scammer. If you actually need help, please don’t ask through asks. If you do you’re probably going to get buried by scammers.
