King Eider. A large sea duck - the males have this silly colorful head used in courtship displays. They migrate in vast flocks to the Arctic in the spring to breed, and return to hang around the rocky coasts of Canada and the northeastern US for the winter.
[ID: an illustration of a black and white duck with an oblong blue, green, yellow, and black head, with a red beak. It is in deep blue water with a simple coastline in the background. End.]
