The eyes are the 'key to the soul', they say. We can read what someone is feeling just by a look in their eyes. They show us the world, it's beauty and yet at the same time they expose us to it or trick us.

Diving into all the details I tried to have with some sort of sense: the left eye (both opened and closed) belongs to Crowley, the upper lash representing his snake form from Eden, the lower lash not really having a role in this but it reminds me of the Shakespearian Crowley, so so be it. The right eye belongs to Aziraphale as you might know by now. Tried to choose an accurate shade for his eye color because I can't really tell what eyecolor is it (#/twins lol), the upper lash symbolises his wings, the angel form, whilist the lower lash once again doesn't have much meaning, however if we think about it, the black spikes can represent the temptations that he was succesfully tempted into by the demon, or all the questionings of the Greater Plan, the whole Heavenly System and all the small thoughts about his field that he tends to have.

Sorry for all the imperfections ! I'm self taught with various breaks - shorter and longer. I don't really have an artstyle, I draw the way my hands allow me to, ending up with things that I try to of course correct. But everything made by human can not be 100% perfect, right? Or is it just an simple excuse from my side.... anyway, I personally really enjoyed drawing this piece, took me few good hours even if it doesn't look like that. That little note about eyes - I love to sound smart (/hj bc i sometimes really do) and I love pouring out my thoughts about some things even if my opinion can not be right.... Being on the internet can give me the freedom of speaking out my heart the way I can't do in real life sorry.

Her original lore/vibes (excentric doctor with a distant and cold spirit who always travels) blends well with the game MC's + following this artstyle was kind of tempting so i just had to make this

hey so if you’ve noticed my posting has been less “frequent” I guess I mean I posted a lot today but that’s because I was having a mettaton craze and most of that is because of personal stuff

but I’m also working on some projects and I wanted to list a couple so you guys can see some of the stuff I’m working on

of course I’ll probably be doing some undertale stuff, gravity falls stuff, Minecraft, etc that I couldn’t list here but these are the main things on my mind right now

I wanted to be a little more transparent about stuff since I feel like my posts have been a bit “dry” especially for the people who followed me for gravity falls and reverse falls content since I’ve kinda just been doing shitposts and mettaton stuff recently

but I assure you bigger stuff is coming but I’m also only one person so it might take a bit

Everything is set up so far but the only thing really challenging me is will.

Will’s design, personality, etc I feel like it all has to be perfect. I want him to be unique. I’ve been switching back and forth with making the story serious to silly to serious to silly blah blah blah yknow.

I have an artstyle in mind but it doesn’t fit very well for Will’s design. So that’s something I need to work on.

Im less focused on this since my oc isn’t really a big thing.

So far I haven’t really had people asking about their story and that’s ok so right now it’s kind of just a half baked idea but I still want to give a bit of a backstory on how my character turned out so koo-koo Mary sue.

The premise of the comic being about someone going on a date with someone they met on a dating app until the person finds out who they’re dating is a literal parasite that has the urge to gain sustenance off their mortal flesh and energy but still wants a relationship…somehow and trying to find a way to compromise to make the relationship work

Okay so I don’t trust myself enough to design accurate YDKJ humanizations and humanoid forms (more on that later) especially because I am VERY new and only own Party Pack 3 and have only gotten like 10 episodes into The Ride (I don’t mind spoilers) so advice for what I should include is appreciated! (especially after when I finished drawing Schmitty’s humanoid quip form then 20 minutes later found out he’s bald but I like the design I did too much to give it up so I’m just making the excuse it’s based on one of the quips, which it actually is)

Okay so I like “humanizing” characters but usually they turn out somewhat inhuman in a way (blame my main fixations being OBJECT characters), but since I feel this is a SPECIAL case considering the lore of YDKJ and Jackbox, I’m gonna be doing both humanizations where they are just FULLY human and then humanoid forms based on specific Party Pack games (if it has an artstyle like quiplash, tmp, and Fakin It, it’s gonna be a humanoid design)

So for example, Schmitty will be fully human until Quiplash happens, in which he’ll suddenly be able to turn into a humanoid form that kind of looks like one of the quips, since he’s now MOSTLY known FOR hosting Quiplash in most cases he’s gonna stay in that form although he CAN turn back into his original human form I guess?? I hope I’m not confusing anybody with this, either way, he’s fully human until Quiplash releases in which now he can become a more humanoid form. (Also Schmitty can probably shapeshift into other quips considering that happens during gameplay if theres an odd amount of players, right?)

This is similar with Cookie where he’s also fully human until say, Fakin It releases (I know he hosts Fibbage but I don’t think it has an actual artstyle) and now he can become a humanoid form thats in the style of Fakin It (also im kinda set on giving him a black cloak as an item he can use to transform himself into the Faker) considering he’s mostly known for hosting things OTHER than Fakin It however, Cookie is gonna likely stay in human form most of the time.

For cases like Buzz and Guy (I think) where they don’t host any Party Pack games, they ONLY have human forms and are stuck with that.

As for hosts introduced in Party Packs and NOT YDKJ (such as Redacted), I’m kinda working on what I SHOULD do, should they ONLY have humanoid forms? (Since it would make sense with what im going for) But if I did that, Redacted wouldn’t have a human form and I REALLY wanna design a human form for him so should I give Redacted special treatment and let him have both forms and the rest have ONLY humanoid forms? Should every Party Pack host be able to become fully human and have humanoid forms? Idk.

Again, advice is absolutely appreciated! And I’m open to hear what people think of what im going for, lol

- *tsukiatte agete mo ii ka na (how do we relationship): i love how simply candid and honest it is at portraying messy relationships between not-quite-adults doing their best to grow. i really enjoy where the story is going because it's something you rarely see in manga!

- ohana holoholo: i wish there's more family-themed gl but im always happy we have this! it's painfully sincere and i love how we dive in into their lifes and see how they're involved with the bigger cast of characters

- shoujo manga protagonist x rival-san: a bit more of a lighthearted comedy, taking the standard trope of shoujo protagonist vs the love rival and putting a silly sapphic spin on it which is something that i absolutely need. its cute moments really shine through!

- yuri de naru ❤️ espoir (yuri espoir): my beloved that i can never shut up about. the cute artstyle takes you in a fun spin on meta commentary of yuri tropes only to slowly reveal that things might not be as sweet and happy as it seems... no one is doing it like them

- yuri to koe to kazo matoi: revolving around the feelings of women finding their place in the world, chasing for what they truly want. this is a bit of a spoiler but it centers around characters in the aromantic and asexual spectrum which makes it even more special to me!

bl:

- *iki dekinai no wa kimi no sei (breathless momentum): i love everything from the premise to how they grow to care about each other, it's hilarious and cute and their dynamic will always remain one of my favorites ever

- *tabun kore kara ai no hibi: the main theme about the joy and pain of creating just resonates so hard, the main characters' struggle portrays it very well and seeing the growth really made me happy!

- tonari ni: natsume ono's paneling and writing is just so special, there's this somber quality to it that absolutely draws me in. it complements very well the quiet yearning in the story

- *tenjite koi to iki: tbh this is just an excuse to talk about hayane dento's works, i always have a hard time choosing a favorite because they all have such great writing! i think about this one the most because of how melancholic it was paired with their beautiful storytelling

- boku no papa to papa no hanashi: ive read a lot of family-themed bl but this will always take the cake! the love this little family have for each other and how they grow together will always get to me

- *link and ring: just an absolutely loving relationship, you can see how much the main couple cares for each other it's just so sweet to read!

- achira kochira bokura: more slice of life than bl really and that's why it's so dear to me, it's a very natural depiction of two boys with opposite natures slowly being part of each other's lives. there's a sequel too!

Everytime i read After God (it's a manga) i always tell myself that it's one of good reference for drawing an eldritch god because well it is about eldritch god and the artstyle is good as well

I like it when they said that the God's or IPO's can only be seen by the naked eye and cannot be seen through phone lense

And there is a vid on yt titleed SCP: OVERLORD by Evan Royalty,the creatures cannot be seen by the naked eye but they can be killed just by using normal guns,so they can only be seen by a special recording device

Ah, always been a big fan of both scary eldritch gods and eerily beautiful eldritch gods, always so fun to see and read about. I actually have been slowly crafting an eldritch universe as an original project. Originally was going to have it be a set of short novellas but the more I look at it, the more it seems suiting to be a text adventure. However, again, my mentally ill brain never goes with what I truly need to do, so whether I actually get around to it without some sort of outside pressure, well...we'll see. It's difficult, trying to self motivate since simply trying to force myself is...next to impossible honestly.

I hope to show off that project one day. I think it's neat, making all these eldritch monsters and gods and their resulting influence over the world. Basically a world that's just an excuse to make weird shit happen and weave a story in all muck. It's fun, it's fun.

Also, I did read that manga. And yeah, I like it. Art's good! Neat! And the main focus is on the platonic bonds which is my shit.

Okay, I’ve drawn some edgy stuff before and I’ll obviously do it again, but this…well, it’s probably not a lot in the general scheme of things, but as for this account so far, who knows.

Content warning for blood, and I’m not sure if it counts as mild body horror as well or not, but it’s better to be safe.

He may be a horror beyond human comprehension to you, I understand him just fine…but all jokes aside, I suppose I’ll explain the thought process here before rambling on about all else, just because I considered posting it a while ago already…and I’m sure it requires that.

In short, the context is an AU I initially thought about just to draw a single shitpost which I still haven’t ended up making, and I’m truly hoping nobody has come up this before as I generally don’t interact with the BSD fandom as a whole, so I wouldn’t really know.

Regardless, I guess you could say it’s a worse version of Fifteen in which Arthur doesn’t end up taking in Chuuya’s ability, but Paul’s instead, and the logistics of this are really wonky at the moment since I haven’t exactly spent my days planning it out, but oh well. My thought was, if that had happened for whatever reason, in the scenario that the plot would have continued the exact same way as Fifteen up until the fight between Arthur, Dazai and Chuuya, what would have been the outcome? On one hand, in the better case, it could have gone the same way, perhaps with Arthur forgetting he could have used an ability other than his own, ultimately failing and meeting the same exact fate as in the novel— believing he ended his partner’s life and having all end on that note, nothing truly changing…but on the other hand, if he hadn’t forgotten about it, perhaps he could have won the fight much easier in some entirely different way, and what would have been of it all then if he’d been the lone survivor, succeeding in taking in Chuuya’s ability, yet learning what he’d truly done, what and who he’d sacrificed for that knowledge, even what he’d actually used to win the fight itself, which would have been the last thing left of his former associate?

You can interpret this in two ways, either as genuine speculation of the most awful outcome or merely an excuse to draw some messed up semi-Guivre-style abomination that I now believe I should have made far, far worse considering how it’s described in Stormbringer, but no matter which it is as not even I know, I’m quite tempted to write something about it over on AO3, although my ongoing WIP is slightly weighing me down. I could potentially postpone the latter, but due to some personal circumstances, I’m not sure if that’s the right decision here…but who knows. Either way, it has major angst potential, and I’m one to latch onto that sometimes.

Now, as for the artwork itself, to set aside that concept…I’m not particularly sure how I eventually got this done as it’s one of those drawings that were threatened with deletion several times, looked absolutely unpublishable throughout the whole process before something miraculously changed five hours in, but it’s here anyway. I was first meant to use my usual artstyle for this, then I got inspired by a few other posts and tried something close to them for a while, yet I somehow wound up with a style similar to Beast again, which…wasn’t the intention. Nonetheless, I’m quite content with it, which I’m really surprised by considering how much I truly believed I was only finishing this one up to send in a chat once and never think of it again.

All that said, maybe this would have had a few bloodstains less if I hadn’t been listening to some stuff that, although lyrically completely unrelated, probably still played a good part in what I eventually turned to, so the playlist to thank is Chronostasis, Deus Ex Machina, Lovers In Abyss — Release Hallucination, 断罪の焔と恋人たちの輪舞曲 — Imperial Circus Dead Decadence, and if this is just an excuse to throw these songs here, I’ll never tell.

I feel a bit bad that I'm venting constantly about art, because i love it, but I think I have too many words and messes inside, so I'll just put it under.

This blog is gonna end up a diary hahs

I just feel like I'm failing pretty bad, and I'd like to go back when I just drew. I dont consider myself creative, in the sense that I'm not flooded with ideas or concepts. But I had _some_ cool ideas and if not, it was a pretty character or maybe fanart! Nowadays there's nothing, I feel so void-like, and I don't like questioning whether this is the way or not. I know it is, because it's always been this path, I just want to find that one piece that puts me back in enough order to move forward.

Last year I focused a lot on learning and improving, I was very happy doing that, however I fear that so much studying might have done me backwards. Studies with realism are super fun but maybe I ended up burying my artstyle somewhere in the way and now it got super difficult and tiresome to draw. Last week I was feeling like I just no longer know how to draw expressions, basically drawing from my head no longer feels natural and that's making me feel horrible.

I also have this awful fear that it's the tablet that's making it feel so unnatural. If I can't adapt to it, I'd have wasted so much money. And I *have* been feeling like i miss just my old drawing tab + a pc, which could just be me thinking back on that time when I was usually drawing constantly. Blaming the tools is dumb and an excuse, but if it's not and it IS the tablet... it's really sad having a dream set-up as a kid and once you achieve it it just doesn't work for you :-(

I'm pretty sure it's just some form of nostalgia but it's a fear that's been present recently.

I was so excited to get better, I wanted to work on making art that felt like a piece, a full work of art. I was excited to open commissions at some point and all of that seems distant right now. I don't know what more to do, apart from not giving up. That's a given, I'll keep trying. I just wish for something to change, click into place, adjust, anything, I want to make stuff again ( .⁠︵⁠.⁠ ⁠`⁠)

There are these drawings I made in 2022 when I was trying out pixel art, and I think they're my favourite stuff I ever made. They've been on my mind lately. I'll put them here cause why not really.
