Bad Omens is now COMPLETE!

A Dramione for fans of Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchett, prank wars, prophecies, and idiots in love.

And with that, my chaotic little passion project is complete! My commenters have called this fic everything from "a classic in the making" to "I have no words for this" to "respectfully, what the actual fuck did I just read?" (Thank you, I love you too.)

Summary:

On the 31st of October, an eleven-year-old girl will bring about the end of the world. According to prophecy, anyway, and everyone knows those are infallible.

Fortunately, the world has unlikely heroes in the form of Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy, who've selflessly agreed to put aside their mutual hatred and long-standing prank war in order to find the girl and stop the apocalypse. If only they could be certain they have the right child…

For fans of Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchett, and dramatic irony, a comedy of errors about two people so stubbornly in denial, Fate itself decides to step in.

I worked on this little something on and off for last 7 months. Looking back, it's funny how spot on their dance actually is

Made with polymer clay, acrylic paint, string LED light, DIY music box kit and some beads, it plays music and lights up from inside. Electric part is changeable if needed

Here are some close ups on figurenes (They are made of polymer clay only, for it to be extra light weight. Whole pair weights only 80 grams!)

Every side of the box is decorated with themes from the show

The whole thing is about 18 centimetres tall

I would love to know what @neil-gaiman thinks about it. I hope he notices :) But I understand if not. Poor guy has a lot to do

AZIRACROW-CODED IMAGERY THROUGHOUT HISTORY

(All of the images are old and none of the artists are still alive, so excuse me if I don’t post links to their Tumblrs.)

1: 1920, Berlin: Sebastian Droste and Anita Berber. It’s them!

2: Cecil Beaton’s bright young things of the 1920s. It’s a Crowley!

3: Can’t find the exact date - but it’s lesbians from around 1900, and it’s pretty clear who’s who.

5: Renée Vivien and Natalie Clifford Barney, Writers (1898-1901). I mean, come on.

6: Joseph Scheurenberg - A Shared Moment (1878). It’s Crowley reading Aziraphale something lewd, and Aziraphale pretends not to be into it, but she is. She’s like “the goat herder, now revealed to be a handsome maiden, did WHAT to the chaste and God-fearing daughter of the marquis, who just wanted to read alone under the sole tree on the moor? I say, that sounds quite unlikely, Crowley.”

7: Gustave Courbet - detail of Le Sommeil. It’s just a couple of hereditary enemies/roommates/gal pals going along with Heaven and Hell as far as they can.

8: Couldn’t find out who painted it, but it seems to be (m) Aziraphale and (F) Crowley perhaps just before Crowley’s fall?

9: I mean. We’ve all read those fics. I’m not saying I’m proud of it (not saying I’m not) but some of them are actually very well written and I’ve learned a lot about herpetology. It’s clear that people have had wet thoughts about angels and serpents for a very long time. Gosh.

Ineffable ponys pt. 2, this time the fameous ex-satanical nun church scene.

The base for this was the Starlight and Trixie scene from S9 E20. It really just reminded me of the GOmens scene LOL (not the whole whole scene, but like this frame). Also I have just analyzed the mistake I did with the glasses BUT let's say that it somehow works alright.....

There's this one fanfic. OMG how much I giggled at it. Its basically the start of Good Omens but Harry being Crowley and Draco as Azirphale. And I think the author was planning on making it a series, but that never happens so I'm left alone with that knowledge.

The fic doesn't even get to them being a couple, in fact is more about their friendship. But there's just SOMETHING about knowing what comes next, like maybe the characters don't know BUT I DO.

“I refuse to allow my son to be unhappy. Get them into a room together, and leave the rest to me.”

There’s this thing called a sunk cost fallacy, which is when it’s easier to go along with a bad idea than to admit to your husband that he was right all along. Ginny reluctantly agreed.

your eyes ♥︎

The eyes are the 'key to the soul', they say. We can read what someone is feeling just by a look in their eyes. They show us the world, it's beauty and yet at the same time they expose us to it or trick us.

Diving into all the details I tried to have with some sort of sense: the left eye (both opened and closed) belongs to Crowley, the upper lash representing his snake form from Eden, the lower lash not really having a role in this but it reminds me of the Shakespearian Crowley, so so be it. The right eye belongs to Aziraphale as you might know by now. Tried to choose an accurate shade for his eye color because I can't really tell what eyecolor is it (#/twins lol), the upper lash symbolises his wings, the angel form, whilist the lower lash once again doesn't have much meaning, however if we think about it, the black spikes can represent the temptations that he was succesfully tempted into by the demon, or all the questionings of the Greater Plan, the whole Heavenly System and all the small thoughts about his field that he tends to have.

Sorry for all the imperfections ! I'm self taught with various breaks - shorter and longer. I don't really have an artstyle, I draw the way my hands allow me to, ending up with things that I try to of course correct. But everything made by human can not be 100% perfect, right? Or is it just an simple excuse from my side.... anyway, I personally really enjoyed drawing this piece, took me few good hours even if it doesn't look like that. That little note about eyes - I love to sound smart (/hj bc i sometimes really do) and I love pouring out my thoughts about some things even if my opinion can not be right.... Being on the internet can give me the freedom of speaking out my heart the way I can't do in real life sorry.

Sorry for my upper share of thoughts, internet is one of the places where I feel comfortable speaking (introverted and shy thangzzz lol) so :) hopefully youll havea nice day or afternoon or evening !! And wishing for a final world peace 🙏 stay safe and happy out there
