first things first, get yourself an autistic tactician. they can only be defeated by another autistic tactician in a battle of wits. we autistic fellows are far beyond you mortals understanding, do not question our ways.

anyway

when it's go time it's go time. man will forget to do his basic needs and probably ignore them when he does remember because he is in the zone and needs to work until he no longer can comprehend the simplest tasks. Chrom is one of the few who can get away with dragging his sleep deprived ass away from his precious diagrams and maps without getting electrocuted to unconsciousness. this is because he has grown resistant to it.

our favorite one sleeved blue hair sword man has to either tie his favorite birdie to a bed or practically lay on his until he falls asleep. food comes after the shut eye, all the shepherds learn this the hard way. as his mind starts winding down the exhaustion hits him harder than Truck-kun does an isekai protag. face plants into his soup and will drown if nobody notices the sounds of bubbles popping.

also nobody questions it when they find the great tactician dead to the world with one or more of the shepherds laying with him. during orientation Fredrick tells all new recruits that if they see Robin sleeping with anyone on the list in their pamphlets that neither of them are cheating this is one of two ways to make sure he gets rest. also do not release him if he is chained to a bed unless absolutely necessary he is in gay baby jail being punished for not following the kings orders. if he says he needs to use the bathroom please refer back to the list of people on the pamphlet and locate the nearest one to inform them of the situation.

his favorite nap buddy his Tiki. her body is warmer than others (cuz y'know dragon) and makes a nice cuddle buddy. preferably not her dragon form, he's gotten crushed enough times to know the dangers. his least favorite is Nowi. she's a bed hog and has a habit of transforming in her sleep if her dragonstone is on her.

when he's not on duty he goes out to his favorite bookstores to see if there's any new bestsellers since he's last stopped by. has befriended all the owners and clerks at each one and will spend hours discussing books of all kinds with any of them. his favorite is a back alley shop run by an elder lady who happily listens to his hours long ramblings. she always has his favorite tea in where she keeps her tea for when he drops by so he doesn't get a hoarse voice from all his talking. sometimes he brings Morgan along to chat with the lady instead when he just wants to read quietly. he feels bad otherwise cuz he knows she's a lil lonely.

due to having fought in many battles he isn't phased easily by loud noises. but there are some sounds that just throw him completely off his game. seriously enemies could use this to their advantage he cannot deal with them and have a clear head. Chrom is very aware of how they affect his bestie and tries to find a solution asap. bothered by the sound of the wind sneaking through a crack in the wall? the wall by given the 'Chrom is training and misjudged his strength' treatment. door hinge squeaks make his skin crawl? the door will be replaced within hours even if that means he has to switch it with another door in the building,

the reason Robin wears gloves his because he can't stand the feeling or sight of blood on his hands. it makes him squeamish though he isn't entirely sure why. maybe it's because it reminds him of the relationship he has with Grima. he's a bit embarrassed by this so he doesn't share this with anyone he isn't super close with. only those who are more observant will notice the change in his demeanor because he's so good at hiding it. carries around two extra pairs of gloves in case some get into the ones he's wearing. Miriel, Lisa, and Fredrick also carry some extras. Chrom forgets half the time but he means well.

when he gets super excited about something that goes in hand with his interests he has a tendency to go off on a tangent. you probably won't be able to get a word in and it might take a bit to excuse yourself because he'll keep interrupting you. please be patient with him he's just really happy. his hands are all over the place while he talks and might start pacing around.

his stimming comes in the form of leg bouncing, finger tapping, and pen clicking (or tapping idk if click pens exists for him). unless he's presenting his leg or fingers start moving the longer a meeting is. Fredrick is usually the one to help him keep his stimming from being distracting during meetings as Chrom needs to keep his focus on the meeting at hand. the most Chrom usually does is nudging Robin's foot with his own silently reminding him to not be too distracting. Fredrick's methods involve coughing into his hand, foot nudges, a quick poke to the arm or back, and sometimes (usually when Robin is feeling extremely stressed) setting a hand on his shoulder to help ground him. there have been a few occasions when he's had to have to writing utensil snatched away lightning fast because of the all the racket he's making with it but hey, it happens to the best of us.

will throw up if he gets anything super spongy slimy in his mouth a big no no for him. do not give him calamari he will puke and refuse to eat anything for the next week that isn't something he is absolutely sure is safe.

gets pouty when his favorite pillow is unavailable. it smells like chrom his favorite person and unless he's sleeping with or given something that has the same scent he refuses to sleep. also can't sleep if it's completely silent. a curse of being autistic is your mind is either hyper focused on one thing or there are too many things going through your head. background noise helps to keep his thoughts from running off like that enemy you defeat multiple times but can only kill once you reach a certain part of the game. (looking at you Hubert)

has an after battle routine that must not be disturbed less you want a grumpy tactician on the job. and trust me, a grumpy Robin is a trigger happy Robin. and by that i mean he will cast bolganone at you for simply saying hi.

for starters, you're always holding your girlfriend's hand or have an arm wrapped around her, wanting to keep her close at all times

after all, you can't protect her when you are separated from her, right?

you also tend to have an intimidating look on your phase by default when you're out with lissa

you want other people to be aware of you and to make sure nobody dares to make a move on your girlfriend – whether it's to hurt her or to flirt with her

you only ease up around lissa and her friends and family

chrom, emmeryn and even maribelle really like you and are quite happy that you keep their beloved lissa safe

and even lissa is happy about it!

she sometimes jokes that you're more her bodyguard than her partner, but she does find it very charming how you always insist on protecting her

Lucina HCs - Gender

In her time, she never had time to think about things like her gender. She was a girl in the middle of a war against the fell dragon Grima. There was no time for much of anything else.

This wasn��t much of a thought even when she was going into the past. She asked Gerome for a spare mask and decided to hide herself as a boy cause it seemed like the best idea given the brand in her eye.

When Lucina took the name Marth, her only thoughts were on Marth being the hero king and how she wanted to be a hero for her people.

Then people started calling her Marth, something started to change in her. She,, liked being called Marth. She almost preferred it, but at the same time, she still liked the name Lucina. After all, it was the name her parents gave to her.

As Marth, he felt powerful. He felt like no one looked down on him for being a woman. He was a powerful swordsman, who in some ways his father respected. Despite his cryptic nature.

Then his mask broke during an attack, and suddenly, he was still Marth. But she was now a woman. No one looked down on her for this, but it felt wrong.

During the two years before Valm’s attack, Lucina put some deep thought into her confused feelings as she trained to get stronger. Her head was racing. She failed to save her aunt, she failed to change these future events, and she had no idea why she didn’t feel like a woman.

Lucina didn’t mind being a woman sometimes, and she felt comfortable with herself. Other times, she wished she was seen as a guy, and he disliked being seen as a girl.

Marth finally figured himself out when he met an individual in an inn he was staying in. They struck up a conversation with Marth, and there was something about how they carried themselves that Marth liked. They slipped in that they were neither man nor woman, and while Marth didn’t question it, it made him realize he didn’t have to be one or the other. He would rejoin his father, understanding this finally.

Lucina is bigender and used she/he. He also uses the name Marth interchangeably with her birth name

Do you think that Gaius gives people nicknames because he has trouble remembering their actual names? You know, like when you recognize someone but you don’t know their name, so you only remember them by some characteristic about them (physical appearance, where you know them from, etc.)?

So he assigns them nicknames so that he has something to call them in conversation to hide that he doesn’t know their name. Like, it started as a way to hide that fact (to avoid people getting upset about him not knowing their name) and now it’s just something he always does and something he plays off as just part of who he is (which it kind of did become).

He’s definitely gotten better over the years at remembering names (given how he doesn’t give all of his support partners a nickname in-game) but it’s kind of just become a habit at this point.

As a Grima fan I don't not understand the very massive side of the fanbase from what I can see, that woobifies Grima. Like yes I am on the side that agrees Robin and Grima are the same to an extent; I see them as two consciences in the same body (I know this isn't at all canon however and true canon is Robin is possessed by Grima many things make that clear). But even if you have the hc they are the same one side does very evil and bad things and that's Grima. And yet I see often when seeing Grima posts oh he didn't actually kill anyone he had others do it for him or he was faking being evil the whole time, he feels bad about it all, he cares about Robin actually and no??? He's evil in Awakening. Like that's...his thing that what he existed to do. He was supposed to be a Loptous expy and I never see anyone arguing Loptous isn't actually evil. Having that Echoes backstory makes him different from Loptous now and it's fascinating; now he's FE Mewtwo, but he's very much a large ham of a villain, frankly he reminds me of those over the top 90's Disney villains, Scar, Hades, etc or a comic book villain there's reason for why he's the way he is BUT he loves being a little evil shit manipulating others, murder, hording his power over them, talking down to them; and thrives on it. That Forging Bonds in FEH with Fallen Chrom was the perfect example to show how nasty he was. NOW if you want to expand on him out of Awakening like in FEH go nuts Zenith is like a pocket where anything can happen and that's what makes it so fun for any character take them away from the things that tie them to their world and you can develop so many characters in creative ways but in the base game? He's the evil world destroying despair dragon, he's not faking anything, he doesn't feel bad about anything in canon; please let him be a horrible angry bitter little person/dragon/creature you don't need to look at Awakening and twist the very basic character he was written as to make him something he's not, it's okay to like the evil dragon because he's terrible, those are generally just fun characters!

trans jack kelly hcs because he is all i think about (some hard promises details because that version of jack is so special to me)

• for a long time he considered just keeping francis as its traditionally a guys name when its spelt with the i but ultimately he just needed a change. and then he changed his last name too because fuck the sullivans. guess what stuck though! malcom. full name: jack malcom kelly. (so silly)

• his trans awakening was buffalo bill who he saw in one of the papes one time. he became obsessed with the outfit, beard, and general cowboy vibe. he thought sanfa fe might be more accepting than new york.

• insecure about his body but won’t let anyone know it. changes in front of the rest of the newsies and they’re all real used to it by now. when a new newsie comes to the lodging house race immediately shuts down all questions with “huh? no that’s my brother jack!”

• jack worked out like nobodies business when all the other newsies hit puberty. he’d sell newspapers by day and then stay up all night doing pushups, desperate to build muscle mass. this routine carried him all the way through the strike until crutchie was like “dude chill out”

• binds with literally anything he can find. he doesn’t ever want to waste clothing that could be used for the other boys so he usually asks medda for a spare piece of fabric or some bandages that she might have lying around.

• speaking of medda, she teaches jack how to contour his face to look sharper. jack feels bad wasting her makeup so he insists he’ll only use it on special occasions like on a first date with davey perhaps?

a teenage (14-15ish) elesa to go with her fellow baby nimbasa city celebrities here!

some notes:

why. why did her ace have to be a zebra of all things. no hate to the animal but fucking hell am i dreading the possibility of having to draw blitzle again, or worse, zebstrika. horse proportions + stripe patterns = a real tough cookie to draw. if i never draw elesa with her pokémon again this is probably why.

(actually while typing the above, i just realised her ace is black and white. really ties her association with unova / submas together which is pretty neat.)

on a more positive note, i had a lot of fun with the design! was going more based on her bw1 appearance (given it's closer on the timeline) but with the preppy popular kid look thrown into the mix.

her original hair colour is black (as in bw2) but here it's dyed blonde with blue streaks.

headcanons time: i was thinking elesa would've come from a rich family, with both her parents being successful businessmen who wanted the perfect daughter to show off. her image is definitely controlled by her parents to some extent - her clothes are fancy and expensive, but fairly normal. even her hair was first dyed blonde to match her father and give her parents the perfect blonde hair blue eyes daughter. fortunately, they aren't at home much, so elesa has some opportunities to make small changes such as the blue streaks and her jacket (more on that later).

despite her parents' expectations, elesa is in fact much more interested in fashion, design and battling. she's an intern gym trainer at the current nimbasa gym (was thinking the gym leader would be a musical actor but nothing concrete) to not only prove that she can strike out on her own without her parents, but also to hopefully secure her future once she turns 18 and can move out and cut contact with her parents. the gym leader has taken a shine to her, encourages her to follow her dreams and is already planning on making her their successor.

by the time of bw1, when elesa talks to bianca and her father to encourage them to let bianca go on her own journey, it's a reflection of her own growth as well - she followed her dream despite her parents and found her own happiness and success, and she wants to inspire other people to do the same.

between the twins, elesa is a lot closer to emmet at this point - in fact, she isn't really close to ingo at all. that comes later after she's known emmet for a longer time. her friendship with emmet surprises a lot of people bc it's literally the popular cool kid befriending the weird kid no one else really cares about (besides his brother).

on the other hand, this is exactly why they're friends - emmet is not only grateful to have any friends at all, but elesa is also someone frequently misunderstood because of her appearance, lonely and the right amount of silly (reminds him a bit of someone...). also she loves electric types which is verrry cool. elesa finds emmet's bluntness and genuineness extremely refreshing compared to how much everyone else works to pretend and fit in. he's also the first person to see her for who she actually is and not her parents or her reputation.

the jacket is a bargain buy she saw in a shop once when she and emmet were out on the streets, and she mentioned her parents wouldn't let her get such clothes as much as she loves the jacket. emmet bought it for her for her birthday.

her closeness to emmet but not ingo is reflected in her design - blue and white feature much more than black and red.

her blitzle's name is chromatic, or chrom for short. she doesn't know about fe awakening for the record.

as a trainer, while she definitely trains mostly electrics, she does have a few off-types for coverage outside work - a lilligant, cinccino, cryogonal and later togekiss.

Another year, another new set of pride headcanons based on a FE game I’ve played! This time around, we’ve got Echoes, but if you want to see Awakening, Fates, Three Houses, or Engage, they’re all here. As I’m still experiencing the game, there are potentially points where I might be slightly off-base, but hey. It’s all for fun anyway, and I’m perfectly happy to update things if I notice there’s any changes.

people might've thought that maribelle was a spoiled and rich brat, but you were even worse than her!

though perhaps you had just adapted this personality to annoy those noble kids your family always made you spend time with

after all, it was quite amusing to see how riled up those noble brats got when someone treated them the way they treated others

and it was no different with maribelle…

you always got a laugh out of seeing her react to your teasing, as her face turned red from anger and she glared at you, yet unable to say or do anything to stop your mockery

she was by far your favorite noble to annoy like this and you found yourself spending even more time than necessary because of that

though while the two of you claimed to hate each other's guts, you just couldn't ignore that tension between you two

that flirty mockery and teasing that you two had going on ended up creating a tension between you two that could only be lifted by finally letting out your emotions towards each other

and that outlet ended up being a passionate kiss from maribelle, after she repeatedly yelled at you to shut up

somehow her lips ended up on yours and the two of you found yourself making out for a few minutes, before pulling away flustered

you were supposed to hate each other, though by how passionate those kisses were, you both knew that hate was not what you truly felt for each other…
